The present age is the age of transformation of knowledge into technology and so our economy is transformed into knowledge economy. Knowledge is being recognized as the currency of every economy and so the information and relationship resources are being utilized by companies in the way physical assets like machinery, property and assets have been used for developing a business (Harsh Purohit, 2017). Multi-facted development over the last two decades had been seen which includes revolutionary Information technology sector, and over there India is the second most populous country in the world and one of the fastest growing economies for developing information technology (Mahesh Joshi, 2011). According to the report real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of India for the year 2010 was highest 13.3 (India real GDP growth. (2018, June 1)). Even the present economic study also reveals that India also comes in the position of fastest growing economies in world in future period. Among the top 5 countries India stood first in the position with the projected GDP of 7.2% (FocusEconomics. (n.d.)). Three sectors namely the Service sector, Industrial Sector and Agricultural sector accounted for 53.89%, 25.92% and 20.19% of GDP respectively in 2021

Health, as defined by World Health Organization is a state of complete physical, mental and social wellbeing.[1] In a healthy body, resides healthy mind and constructive thoughts of improvement. The importance of maintaining a good diet, exercising and meditation have been highlighted from time immemorial.[1, 2] It is the hale and hearty body, which not only catalyzes a strong personal growth, but also contributes to a nation building. However, in the present age of globalization, where everything happens with a click of button, the fast lifestyle demands quick responses and meeting early deadlines. On one hand, they are proved to be effective for an institutional growth, but on the other hand, these stressors contribute majorly to unhealthy lifestyle, depression, mental overload and fatigue. Common episodes of headache, eye strain, pain, tiredness and other such health issues have become prominent among people in the recent years.[3-5] With the increase in workload, the demand of quick recovery from such common problems has also increased. Shockingly, the compositions of Acetaminophen and Paracetamol has been the most common treatment method to deal with such symptoms.&nbsp

Human ear identification system using shape and structural features based on SIFT and ANN classifier

    Get PDF
People have become more interested in biometrics recognition as technology has advanced. Biometrics is the study of automatic systems for distinguishing people related to physical or behavioural features. Methods for finding favourable biometric traits have acquired more attention in recent years. The ear is among the most consistent biometric traits because it does not alter with aging or emotion. The human ear is an excellent source of data for passive personal authentication. The ear looks to be an excellent potential solution because it is accessible, images are easily obtained, and the ear structure doesn't change over the years. The ear meets a biometric criterion (universality, distinctiveness, durability, and collectability). The biometric field is working hard to develop automated individual identification using ear images. Several face recognition approaches fail in this present COVID-19 outbreak due to the mask-wearing situation. The human ear is attractive data for passive personal authentication because it does not need the individual's involvement to recognize the ear. In this research, we suggested an automatic ear identification system using Scale Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT) and an Artificial Neural Network (ANN)

The purpose of this study was to provide basic data for sexual violence prevention policies using law consciousness by elucidating the moderated mediation effect of law consciousness in the influence of adolescents’ abuse experiences from parents on sexual violence through impulsiveness. The research questions to achieve this purpose are established as follows: First, what is the correlation between abuse experience, impulsiveness, law consciousness, and sexual violence? Second, what is the moderated mediation effect of law consciousness in the relationship between abuse experiences from parents, impulsiveness, and sexual violence? For the analysis, SPSS window version 25.0 and PROCESS macro version 3.5 were used, and frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, moderated mediation effect analysis and bootstrap method were performed. As a result of the study, first, Pearson correlation analysis showed that there were significant correlations between abuse experiences from parents, law consciousness, impulsiveness, and sexual violence. Abuse experience was positively correlated with impulsiveness and sexual violence, but it was negatively correlated with law consciousness. Second, the moderated mediating effect of law consciousness on the mediating effect of impulsiveness in the link between abuse experiences from parents and sexual violence was verified

Entrepreneurial intention of students through the influence of entrepreneurial education: A mediation perspective

    Get PDF
The study of entrepreneurial intention has long been a topic of significance in entrepreneurship research. “What makes people become entrepreneurs?” is a question that many researchers have sought to answer.  This study focuses on entrepreneurial education as an independent factor with the aim of identifying how the entrepreneurial education has influence the entrepreneurial intention. A model has been proposed and an empirical test of a model was conducted among the management students in India who have exposed to management education. Entrepreneurial attitude is a mediator between entrepreneurial education and student intention, according to a process macro developed by academics. Before incorporating entrepreneurial self-effect efficacy into the model, researchers assessed the goals and attitudes of the students toward self-employment. Studies have shown an association between a person's attitude toward starting a business and their likelihood of starting a business, and between these two variables

S.arues bacteria is one of the most important types of resistance to antibiotics, including beta-lactam antibiotics, which cause infections acquired in hospitals, which is one of the biggest continuing medical problems and challenges in the world and due to the lack of accurate information and previous studies on Methicillin-resistance Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and its true prevalence rates in institutions  The study was conducted on Staphaureus bacteria in (Samarra General Hospital) for the time period from the beginning of the month of November to the end of January.  Obtaining (22) isolates out of (100) by phenotypic method. The study showed that the highest prevalence of Staphaureus bacteria was within the laboratory staff and constituted (30%), followed by the nursing staff (10%), then the medical staff (20%), followed by the pharmacy staff at (0%). The study showed that for the age group (21-29)  year by (72%), for the age group (30-40) it was (18%), and for the age group over (40 years) it was (9%)

A case report of a patient in adult care unit with diabetic foot

    Get PDF
As the population ages and life expectancy increases, type 2 diabetes is more prevalent. Geriatric symptoms, such as cognitive impairment, depression, urine incontinence, falls, and polypharmacy, are common in seniors with diabetes mellitus. Elderly patients have a wide range of functional abilities, which means many unsolved concerns concerning diabetes care. The study's goal is to examine a patient in an adult care unit diagnosed with type 2 diabetes (DM2) 24 years ago. As with younger patients, the treatment of diabetes in the elderly focuses on hyperglycemia and associated risk factors. Patients' comorbid conditions and functional limitations must be considered while defining treatment goals. As a result, each patient's care should be tailored to their specific needs. When treating diabetes in senior individuals who are more susceptible to hypoglycemia, hypotension, and medication interactions, care should be taken to prevent these side effects. Management of various medical disorders is particularly critical since it impacts the capacity of these people to care for themselves

Serum esterified cholesterol subfractions as a risk marker for coronary artery disease

    Get PDF
Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate the total esterified cholesterol and non-HDL esterified cholesterol as a risk marker for coronary artery disease and compare it with the classical risk factors. Methods: Fifty-six patients with proven coronary artery disease as assessed by angiography and 40 healthy controls were subjects for study. Total esterified cholesterol, Non-HDL esterified cholesterol and the classic lipid profile parameters were measured for both groups. Results: Total Esterified Cholesterol was not found to be significantly associated with CAD. However Non-HDL esterified cholesterol was found to be having statistically significant association. Using Receiver Operator Characteristics (ROC) Curve it was found that Non-HDL esterified cholesterol at a cut off value of 107mg/dl, has a sensitivity of 57% and specificity of 66.6%, as a risk marker for the coronary artery disease. Conclusion: Evaluation of coronary artery disease by measuring esterified cholesterol fraction of Non-HDL cholesterol may help in risk assessment and will provide more data to understand the mechanisms of cholesterol homeostasis
