New integral transform for solving some kinds of differential equations
Our aim in this paper is to introduce new integral transform which we will call it “Battor – AlTememe” transform. This transform is useful for solving many types of differential equations (ordinary and partial) and we will introduce some definitions, concepts and identities. Integral transform is used to solve differential and integral equations. In 2008 [2], the researcher introduced AlTememe transform, which is given by the integral T(f(x))=∫_1^∞▒x^(-p) f(x)dx=F(p), For a function f(x) which is defined on an interval (1, ∞), x^(-p) is the kernel of this transform and p is positive constant such that the above integral is converge
A systematic review on relationship between weight management, shopping mode and lifestyle
In the present world, the amount of importance paid to the health concerns of an individual is much higher than before. Mostly due to the Covid-19 pandemic being emerged across the world, the health consciousness amongst consumers have increased to a high level. The study here makes an attempt to review the relevant literature in the field of weight management by including the attributes of lifestyle and shopping habits all along and provide a model for future empirical researches. The study uses systematic review method to arrive at the results and uses the PRISMA method to review a total of 51 papers. The conceptual model formulated above shows three factors which have been observed to have a constant influence on the weight management practices based on the lifestyle and shopping habits of an individual. The first is referred to the frequency and intensity of physical activity being undertaken as a part of their lifestyle. This is followed by how effectively they manage to plan their dietary intake through the provisions of nutritional awareness and grocery shopping abilities. The third is the inevitable role of technology played in the process of weight management
Prognostic biomarkers in cardiovascular diseases
The use of biomarkers as a reliable and reproducible indicative of the risk, severity, and progression of cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) may greatly enhance the prognostic capability of primary healthcare clinicians. In primary healthcare, the realistic and wise use of reliable biomarkers could minimize the time and costs for effective diagnosis and suitable personalized therapy for CVD patients. Therefore, the aim of the present scoping review is to evaluate the prognostic significance of biomarkers in the progression and monitoring of CVDs. The review was conducted according to the PRISMA-ScR guidelines. Eight databases were searched for articles published as of June 2021 using search terms: cardiovascular diseases AND biomarkers AND prognosis. A total of 21 studies were included in this scoping review. This review identified biomarkers BNP, cTnT yielded better accuracy of disease progression prediction in ACS and HF respectively. The availability of CVDs prognostic biomarkers in primary healthcare clinics could promote improved clinical outcomes of patients
Antiemetic effect of intravenous palonosetron and ondansetron for the prevention of postoperative nausea and vomiting following laparoscopic surgeries under general anaesthesia, a randomised observational study
Post-operative nausea and vomiting(PONV) is one of the common complications in patients undergoing laparoscopic surgeries under general anaesthesia. This study compares efficacy of prophylactic palonosetron and ondansetron in the prevention of PONV. After obtaining the approval of institutional ethical committee, a prospective randomised study was conducted on 60 patients belonging to American Society of Anaesthesiologists Grade I and II, patients of either sex, aged between 18 to 60 years, fulfilling the inclusion criteria were divided into two groups receiving inj. ondansetron 8 milligrams i.v. or inj. palonosetron 75 micrograms i.v. Incidence of PONV and need of rescue antiemetic was recorded post operatively. Data were evaluated statistically using Graph Pad Prism computer software version 6.04.It was found that inj. palonosetron 75mcg i.v. was more efficient in the prevention of PONV and required lesser rescue antiemetic when compared inj. ondansetron 8mg i.v. At conclusion of the study it was found that the prophylactic usage of inj. palonosetron 75 mcg i.v. is more effective than inj. ondansetron 8mg i.v. in the prevention of PONV in patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery (p value < 0.05)
Effects of phenylephrine and ephedrine in prevention and treatment of hypotension during spinal anaesthesia for elective cesarean section: A randomized controlled study
Introduction: Hypotension and bradycardia are common side effects of spinal anaesthesia. It can have a potentially deleterious maternal and fetal impact. Phenylephrine is preferred vasopressor in prevention and treatment of post spinal hypotension (PSH) and Ephedrine investigated as an alternative to phenylephrine with promising results. Aim: To compare the efficacy and safety of Ephedrine with Phenylephrine for the prevention and treatment of hypotension under spinal anesthesia for cesarean delivery. Methods: This prospective, randomized study was done at tertiary care centre. Total 80patients of ASA I/II posted for elective Cesarean Section were randomly divided into 2 equal groups, Group P (Phenylephrine) received 100ug of Inj. Phenylephrine i.v. and Group E (Ephedrine) received 10mg of Inj. Ephedrine i.v. Result: Incidence of bradycardia was higher in phenylephrine group after induction. SBP, DBP and mean blood pressure measured during pre-operative, per-operative and post-operative periods in both groups showed low incidence of hypotension in Group P as compared to Group E. Conclusion: Phenylephrine is more efficient in managing hypotension during spinal anaesthesia for elective caesarean delivery. Neonatal outcome remains equally good in both the groups.
Solving nonlinear optimization problem using approximation methods
The goal of this paper is to find a better method for integrating the optimization problem faster, and we did so by using a relaxation of the solution area, which is one of the methodologies in the correlation between the penalty method and the Augmented Lagrange method, and we also built default properties for combining these two methods
The COVID-19 pandemic and its effects on nursing students’ performance
The COVID-19 pandemic has led to unexpected changes in nursing students’ education, which constitutes the suspension of face-to-face education and a halt to their professional practice in hospitals. The lockdown came to effect when the pandemic had an escalating effect on nursing students and their studies. This study was conducted to evaluate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on nursing students studying at different levels on four campuses in the Southern Region of Saudi Arabia via their perceived stress levels. The research design was carried out using a descriptive approach and a Google documents link was used to collect data. This research took place between April 2020 to September 2021 and consisted of 233 nursing students from different Nursing branches in the area. This study indicated that nursing students had moderate stress levels through the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) measuring scale, with a PSS score of 31.69 ± 6.91. There was a significant difference in age and gender of p <.001 and p <.001, respectively. This study showed that age and gender impacted the stress levels amongst nursing students
