    Get PDF
It's no secret that the Olympics are very popular, as shown by the fact that 206 countries took part in the 2016 Rio Olympics. Except for cricket, India's performance in international sports events, including the Olympics, has remained low despite the country being one of them. Cricket, in fact, is India's most popular sport and one of the most successful national teams in the world. Sport is undergoing fast transformation both as a discipline and as a business. As a result, strategic management is becoming more important in adapting to these changes. A sports team's success is as much a function of sound strategic choices as it is of the players' individual abilities. It's up to you to handle the supply chain properly and choose reputable suppliers. It's also based on who you hire for administrative and support positions. The functions of sales and marketing must be able to traverse new marketing channels while maintaining appropriate branding. Strategy formulation, strategy execution, and strategy assessment are all parts of strategic management. It begins with the development of strong vision and mission statements. An organization's mission statement and core principles should be included in this document.&nbsp

The predictive diagnosis for ANGPTL8 level in women with T2DM

Background: The metabolic syndrome including type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM), insulin resistance(IR), obese, hypertension, and dyslipidemia,  is an increasing health burden. In the last decade, various metabolic hormones have been noticed to significantly role obese and associated complications. for example of this, the adipokines or hepatokines secreted proteins from hepatocyte and adipocyteare correlate with metabolic syndrome. Angiopoietin-like protein 8 (ANGPTL8) has a novel hepatokine or adipokine, which is mostly expressed in the adipose tissue, and liver stimulates the β-cell proliferation as a pancreatic in an insulin resistance state. It's a recently discovered the endocrine regulator associated with glucose homeostasis, IR, and metabolism of lipid. Materials and Methods: Ninety women participated in this study, comprising sixty patients with diabetes mellitus type-2 and thirty healthy (sex and age - matched) as a control group. Enzyme linked immune sorbent assay (ELISA) was used to assess ANGPTL8 and insulin. Standard procedures were used to measure fasting blood glucose, lipid profile, and glycated hemoglobin (HBA1c) in a certified laboratory. Results: Diabetes patients had higher levels of ANGPTL8 than the control group. The blood ANGPTL8 level in the Type-2 diabetes group varied from 4432.89±1171.09 pg/ml, while the control group's level was 2892.11±537.91pg/dl (p<0.0001).&nbsp

The objectives of this study were to study and compare the effects of moderate-intensity continuous and interval training on physical fitness in obesity. The participants were 48 male and female (fat % over 20 in men and 30 in women, aged between 20 – 25 years) and were randomized into three groups: 12 weeks of continuous along exercise (CA), 60-65% MHR (7 men and 8 women); 12 weeks interval exercise (IG), 60-65% MHR (208 - (0.7 x Age) alternate with 70-75% MHR every 1 minute (9 men and 8 women); and control group (CG) (8 men and 8 women). At baseline VO2max, total body weight, body fat percentage, and visceral fat data did not differ significantly between the three groups (p > 0.05). After 12 weeks of exercise intervention, both men and women participants in CA and IG had significantly improved in VO2max, total body weight, body fat percentage, no significantly in CG. There is no significant between CA and IG in every variable but significantly between CA and CG and between IG and CG in both men and women participants.&nbsp

The genus Stachys L. (Lamiaceae) includes about 300 species as annual or perennial herbs or small shrubs, spread in temperate regions of Mediterranean, Asia, America and southern Africa. Stachys sp has antioxidant activity and destroys free radicals. Antifungal effects of methanolic extracts of four different types of Stachys on several bacteria and yeasts were recorded.  This  study was conducted to evaluate the effect of the alcoholic and aqueous extract of Stachys sp. on the growth  and spore viability of Fusarium solani and the results revealed that the extract affect the daily growth of  Fusarium solani  and the effect was increased with the increasing the concentration. The lowest rate of daily growth was recorded in the case alcohol extract which was 0.203cm at the concentration 25% while the highest one was 0.537cm at the concentration 6.25% as compared with the control 1.00cm. The aqueous and alcohol extract of Stachys sp suppressed the spore production (sporogenesis) of Fusarium significantly as compared with the control and the effect increased with the increasing of concentration
