    A study on impact of community participation on health care promotion of Barpeta District of Assam

    Health is an important element of human development. India to arrive WHO’s slogan ‘Health for All’ amongst different ways also included community participation as an important tool to arrive health issues from the grass root level. Community participation and its important role on health is found in different studies for different parts of India, while with respect of Assam a very less studies were there.  The present study is an attempt to find how far community participation was successful to promote health particularly of the Barpeta district of Assam. The study took the participation of members of panchayats in health care activities as the community participation. Mean health participation index and mean awareness score on 0 to 1 scale is calculated to examine community participation on health development.  It is found from the study that community participation on health had positive linkages with the increase in awareness of the members of the panchayats about the available health care services and their roles and functions on delivery of health services. Absense of proper guidelines for health partcipation, lack of proper coordination among the panchyat members and district health centres etc, lead to absentia nature of health participation of panchayts

    Impact of deep breathing exercise on oxygen saturation of patients with coronavirus disease

    An experimental comparative study design was done for 30 patients to assess the impact of deep breathing exercises and chest physiotherapy on the oxygen saturation of patients with COVID19 in Imam Hussein Teaching Hospital and Al Rifai General Hospital/ Thi Qar. The reliability of the questionnaire was achieved through a pilot study and then presented to experts to prove its validity. The total number of items was 40-items in two questionnaires and measure oxygen saturation for five days before and after deep breathing exercises and chest physiotherapy. The data was collected by using simple random methods and analyzed by the application of a descriptive and inferential statistical data analysis approach.Results: The results showed for 30 patients there was significant improvement in oxygen saturation values after chest breathing exercises and deep breathing exercises from 82.3333 ± 2.78337 in first before intervention day to 93.5000 ±1.38340 in day five after chest breathing exercises and deep breathing exercises at P < 0.05. Also there were no significant statistical correlation between patient's age and their oxygen saturation after chest breathing exercises and deep breathing exercises at P ˃ 0.05.&nbsp

    Evaluation of private investment performance: Evidence from Ethiopia

    In Ethiopia, there has been various economic and political reforms for the last ten years which can motivate private investors. Even though, some improvements have been registered as a result of such reforms, the performance of private sectors became low. This study conducted to evaluate the performances of private investment in regional distribution, sector contribution, and ownership structure and employment creation. The result shows that Most of private investment projects are concentrated around Addis Ababa, with manufacturing and service sectors. In Ethiopia, foreign private projects are capital incentive while Domestic private projects have higher share in employment creation. Emerging regions in the country exhibited small number of private projects as compared to other regions. Identified variables for the study includes private investment, inflation rate, abroad money supply, GDP per capital, interest rate, exchange rate, public investment, and external debt. To enhance the analysis, Econometrics model with OLS using multiple regression was applied. The result shows that GDP per-capital, and external debt have significant positive long run effect on private investment, while broad money supply and average exchange rate have negative long run effect. Broad money supply, GDP per-capital, and external debt have significant short run effect

They put its provisions within frameworks that guarantee the public interest and serve the human being, and the research included two demands, namely: the first in the definition of profits, and the second in the legitimacy of profits sale, so I thought that my research should be in these two demands, which contained the foundations and principles of selling according to trust and honesty, so the first came in a statement The traditional definition of profits is based on the ancient jurists (may God have mercy on them), and contemporary jurists, as well as the definition of profits sale for the non-traditional purchase order.     Evaluation of dimensional accuracy of two step putty wash impression technique using different spacers: An in-vitro study

    Purpose- To investigate the accuracy of impressions taken by two step putty wash impression technique using various spacers. Materials and methods – A maxillary typodont teeth assembly was taken as the master model with missing right maxillary first molar and prepared 2nd premolar and molar. The inter abutment, premolar and molar height measurements were recorded using Digimatic Indicator (Mitutoyo) and Tool maker microscope (Hauser P32C). Impression (Flexceed GC India Dental Pvt Ltd) was taken using the two step putty wash impression technique using four different types of spacer protocols, GROUP 1- No spacer; GROUP 2- Cellophane sheath; GROUP 3- Antero-posterior rocking with escape groves; GROUP 4- Shimstock articulating paper. All the impressions were poured with type IV dental stone (Kalrock Kalabhai Dental Pvt Ltd) with base. These dies were examined for any irregularities or porosities and the fine dies were selected. The molar and premolar heights were measured using Digimatic Indicator (Mitutoyo) and the inter-abutment height was measured with tool maker microscope (Hauser P32C). The data was collected and statistically analysed. Result- When coming to inter-abutment, premolar and molar height distance there was significant difference

    Digitised bus navigator with self authorization facility using IoT

    An autonomous bus ticketing is a modern bus transportation technology. Smart bus ticketing is a transportation innovation that is developing as technology advances. To get to their destination, every passenger requires reliable transportation. The smart bus ticketing system was created with the help of making things work via internet by including the IOT domain. All passengers will be bringing RFID tags whereas the bus will be having a RFID reader which makes the access for the passengers to select their destination for their journey. The amount will be deducted, and a notification will be shown on the output display screen. After boarding the bus, the passengers can view current location of the bus with live tracking that carried out using the google map interface in via GPS module which gets the data and syncs it to the Google Map widget to display the Map view so that the illiterate people can easily understand the current location of bus. In addition to this Fire and accident detection are also deployed to give more security and comfort for the passengers. The whole process is carried out using Node MCU controller which has an in-built Wi-Fi module called ESP8266

    The main objective of this study was to identify that the factors affecting effectiveness of administration and collection of revenue in afar region in case of samara logia town. The data used in this study consists of both primary and secondary data. The primary data was collected through standard questionnaire. The demographics of the respondents were firstly established in the questionnaire. The questionnaire was comprised of both closed and open ended questions. Secondary data was also collected from official documents and records relating to the case under study; Based on the above discussion and analysis, the researcher concluded the following facts in relation to taxpayers in the study area: Most of category ‘’A’’ and ‘’B’’ taxpayers are convinced for the fairness the tax assessment in Samara-logia town. However, some of the above group taxpayers and most of category ‘’C’’ taxpayers do not agree with about the fairness of the tax assessment in Samara-logia town. This might be because some of category ‘’A’’ and ‘’B’’ taxpayers lack to prepare acceptable and accurate financial statements and necessary supportive documents for their transactions, as a result the tax authority will assess their tax liability by estimation.&nbsp
