    Get PDF
Deep Learning has indeed been widely used in many fields/areas of medicinal images classification, and a large number of publications have been published documenting its success. The key for achieving effective diagnosis and therapy is accurate characterization of medical pictures. However, because image interpretation is highly dependent on the subjective opinion of doctors, the results of image processing vary greatly amongst clinicians at different levels. Picture classification, target identification, and image analysis have all improved dramatically in recent years with environmental image data sets in domain of Image Processing. In this paper, we have presented a systematic survey on feature extracting and classifying the medical images using deep learning methods. Two new ideas are presented in this work. First and foremost, we classified presently trendy publications in a multi-level configuration. Second, this research article concentrates on supervised and poorly supervised learning techniques

Antimicrobial activity of Sappan wood extract (Caesalpinia sappan L.) against Streptococcus pneumoniae

    Get PDF
Streptococcus pneumoniae is a normal flora in the upper respiratory tract but can cause Acute Respiratory Tract Infection (ARI), peritonitis, sepsis and meningitis. The widespread use of inappropriate antibiotics to treat Streptococcus pneumoniae infection causes antibiotic resistance. Meanwhile, Streptococcus pneumonia requires iron in its growth, namely as a cofactor for the ribonucleotide reductase enzyme, which plays a vital role in DNA synthesis. This study aimed to determine the antimicrobial activity of sappan wood extract (SWE) against Streptococcus pneumonia and the role of SWE as iron chelators on antimicrobial activity. The study was conducted by establishing a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and a minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC) against Streptococcus pneumoniae and is evaluated using Total Plate Count (TPC), the diameter of the inhibitory zone and the measurement of iron levels using Atomic Absorption S. pectrophotometer. The results showed that the MIC values for Streptococcus pneumonia 103 and 105 CFU/mL were 32 ppm and 64 ppm, respectively, with the MIC values of 64 ppm and 128 ppm, respectively

Therefore, an attempt is made here to explore the relationships between cultural intelligence, personality traits, communication styles, value orientation and perceived parenting styles among adolescents. Cluster sampling technique was used to select the participants. A survey was conducted with 480 adolescents in and around Salem city was collected. Results revealed that introvert/ambivert adolescents experiencing positive parenting, exhibit higher value orientation and communication were predicted to have higher cultural intelligence. This study would be helpful for teachers to understand adolescents’ individual differences and accordingly modify their teaching behaviour. Imparting cultural intelligence among adolescents would heighten the sense of group belongingness, that show drastic effects in future global economy

    Get PDF
The COVID-19 pandemic has considerably imposed extensive effects on all sectors worldwide, especially nursing education. So, the online learning has become an accessible solution to complete either the academic or other training courses. Investigate the effect of implementing telenursing in promoting pediatric nurses’ knowledge regarding covid 19 and delta variant pandemic. A quasi-experimental pretest-posttest study design was used to accomplish the study. Eighty nurses from four pediatric hospitals were involved. A digital questionnaire regarding pediatric nurses’ knowledge about COVID-19 and the delta variant pandemic was developed and used to test nurses’ knowledge. A pretest using the digital questionnaire was done for all nurses before conducting the online educational sessions. Three online educational sessions were conducted using the Zoom platform. Two posttests using the digital questionnaire were done immediately after finishing the three educational sessions and one month later. Most nurses failed to select the correct answer in the pretest, and only 2.5% of them got a good score. In contrast, nearly 75% of nurses choose the correct answer and get excellent scores immediately after the educational sessions.&nbsp

Patients with neck pain undergoing cervical mobilization and manipulation were monitored for changes in ROM and pain. The cervical spine was manipulated and mobilized. An inclinometer was used to measure cervical range of motion. VAS was used to gauge the severity of the pain in the cervical region (VAS). A total of 35 patients agreed to participate. The participants' ages ranged from 15 to 70, with an average of 46.5 years. Neck pain and limited cervical range of motion were common symptoms among the participants in this study. We saw a decrease in pain intensity and an increase in cervical range of motion in our patients. All metrics had significant pre-treatment variations (p0.01 at the first, fourth, and tenth visits). Patients with neck pain may benefit from the use of cervical spine Mobilization and Manipulation procedures, according to the findings of this study

Real Time face recognition system which is worked on the scenario of recognition of face detection and further also we used as it for attendance marking purpose. Marking attendance in the classroom or in any institution level during ongoing period of time is not only headache activity but also a time consuming. Due to an unpredictable or an unusually high number of students which are present during the ongoing lecture so there will be high chance of probability of proxy’s attendance if the guide did not connect the class so there are highly chances.  Attendance marking system with conventional types of method has been an area of challenges occurs. Technology plays a significant part in today's society. One of the most extensively utilized technologies is face recognition. It can be used for security, authentication, and identity, as well as unlocking phones. It is extensively utilized, despite having low accuracy when compared to iris detection and fingerprint identification. Furthermore, this technology is employed in a variety of settings, including schools, colleges, hospitals, and a variety of others.&nbsp

Silence is the speech of love. Traditionally women are expected to be in this speech. Women from the classical age are portrayed as serving wife, loving mother, and sacrificing lady who brings happiness, peace, and love to their Family at the cost of their happiness. But such ladies have been put down since the days of Adam and Eve in the Bible. From the start, she was held responsible. Women have suffered in every possible way since she bit into that apple through the years. Women were condemned to the lowest level of a vassal since men formed religion and men authored the Bible. The man could not bear that the first human being on the planet was a woman. Women, in general, have diverse or differing attributes based on their social and familial positions. However, their roles as mother, sister, and wife are the ones they cherish the most. They are not only in charge of the Family's finances, house management, and kitchen cleanliness, but they are also working to maintain the Family's harmony. As a result, the lady is fantastic. In the Little Foxes, Lillian Hellman explains the essence of womanhood and equality
