Affiliate Business in the Digital Era: A Normative Analysis of Its Legal Status in Islamic Economic Law

The rapid development of information and communication technology has created significant changes in the global economy, particularly in digital trade systems known as e-commerce. One of the latest innovations in this field is affiliate marketing, a model that allows third parties to earn commissions through online sales promotions. This study aims to analyze the legal status of affiliate business practices from the perspective of Islamic law. Using a normative juridical or library research method, the study examines primary and secondary legal materials related to contract law and Islamic economic principles. The findings reveal that affiliate business transactions are permissible (mubah) in Islam as long as they comply with the principles of justice, transparency, and the avoidance of prohibited elements such as riba, gharar, and maysir. Conceptually, affiliate marketing corresponds to the contract of wakalah bil ujrah, which involves an agency agreement with compensation for services rendered. Therefore, affiliate marketing can be categorized as a lawful business model in Islamic economic law, provided that its implementation adheres to sharia principles and ethical standards in digital transactions

The literacy skills of students in Indonesia still face challenges despite the increase in PISA rankings, because literacy programs are not yet fully effective, and the limitations of varied learning resources. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of literacy programs and the availability of learning resources on students' literacy skills, as well as to examine the role of student involvement as a mediator in these relationships. The research method uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory-correlational design through the analysis of Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using a sample of 173 grade XI students of SMAN 1 Mejayan who were selected by simple random sampling and data collection through a Likert scale questionnaire. The results of the study showed that literacy programs, the availability of learning resources, and student involvement had a positive and significant effect on literacy skills, but student involvement was not proven to be significant as a mediator. These findings confirm that improving literacy can be achieved through literacy programs that are integrated into learning and the provision of varied learning resources, both print and digital, with recommendations for schools and teachers to design more flexible and contextual literacy strategies. The novelty of this research lies in a conceptual model that tests student involvement as a mediating variable, thus providing a new picture of the implementation of literacy strategies in secondary schools in Indonesi

Such integration simultaneously fosters academic excellence, spiritual growth, and character formation. The contribution of this study lies in presenting an adaptive and relevant model of integrated Islamic education that can serve as a reference for curriculum development in modern Indonesian pesantre

The Concept of Islamization of Knowledge According to Hamid Fahmy Zarkasyi

This study critically examines the integration of the Islamic worldview into modern educational systems through the Islamization of knowledge framework, focusing on Hamid Fahmy Zarkasyi's epistemological contributions. Employing qualitative library research with a character study approach, this research analyses primary sources, including Zarkasyi's scholarly works, alongside secondary literature from al-Attas and al-Faruqi. Findings reveal that contemporary Islamic education suffers from an epistemological crisis rooted in the uncritical adoption of secular Western paradigms that contradict tawhidic foundations. Zarkasyi proposes a three-stage framework: epistemic identification of secular assumptions, critical deconstruction of contradictory presuppositions, and reconstruction upon tawhid, prophethood, and Islamic ethics. This research demonstrates that Islamization transcends theoretical discourse, offering concrete solutions to the knowledge-value dichotomy plaguing Muslim education. The study concludes that authentic Islamic educational reform requires dismantling and reconstructing knowledge paradigms themselves, not merely administrative or methodological adjustments. Implications include curriculum redesign integrating Islamic worldview, establishment of interdisciplinary research centres, and teacher training in Islamic epistemology to produce graduates with balanced spiritual integrity and intellectual competenc

This study analyzes the potential of microinsurance implementation to enhance the economic empowerment of rural communities in Singkuang Village, Muara Batang Gadis District, Mandailing Natal Regency. The research background is based on the condition of the majority of MSMEs, who still face business risks without adequate financial protection. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study design, through interviews, observation, and documentation, as well as a SWOT analysis. The results show that MSMEs' internal strengths outweigh their weaknesses (IFAS 3.541 > 3.103) and opportunities outweigh their threats (EFAS 3.157 > 2.264), placing MSMEs in Quadrant I (aggressive strategy). Microinsurance is considered relevant because it offers affordable premiums, simple administration, and fast claims, while also encouraging a culture of risk management. However, challenges remain in the form of low financial literacy and limited access to information. Therefore, education, mentoring, and support from the government and financial institutions are needed. Overall, the implementation of microinsurance has great potential to strengthen business resilience and rural economic empowerment if accompanied by increased literacy, access to capital, and accessible product distribution

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has had a significant impact across various fields, including education. One of its potential applications lies in the development of teaching modules aligned with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum. This study aims to describe the implementation of AI in the process of designing and developing teaching modules at SMA Bina Insan Palu. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis of teaching modules, and were then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and thematic conclusion-drawing techniques.
