    The purpose of this research is to describe how the practical learning process is in increasing students understanding?, How to increase students' understanding through practical learning in class VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Roudlotut Tholibin Kediri?, What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in improving students' understanding through practical learning at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Roudlotut Tholibin Kediri ? This study uses a type of field research (fieldreasearch)and using a qualitative descriptive approach, with the design of data collection through interviews, observation and documentation. Furthermore, data analysis was carried out using descriptive qualitative analysis methods. It was found that: in class VIII MTs Roudlotut Tholibin Kediri used the practical method in order to improve student understanding, in each practice carried out through 3 stages, namely, the preparation stage, the implementation stage and the final stage in accordance with the learning implementation plan (RPP). then it was found that the impact of students who took part in practical learning activities had a high cognitive level compared to students who only studied material, there was also good interaction between teachers and teachers, teachers and students and students and students themselves. The supporting factors in practical learning are teachers, parents, environment, strength or cooperation between teachers, regulatory points. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are friends and students themselves. So, from the explanation above, it is proven that practical learning can improve students' understanding of maple fiqh class VIII MTs Roudlotut Tholibin

    The discourse about building an educational paradigm that is suitable for application in pesantren institutions is still interesting to discuss. Many conceptual offers have been presented. This is closely related to the role of pesantren in the modern era with its complexities and problems. Traditional and modern Islamic boarding schools are considered inadequate in responding to the challenges of the times between pragmatic needs and the fulfillment of the moral-spiritual dimension. For this reason, this article intends to offer a pesantren education paradigm that combines traditional and modern components. That the integrated paradigm based on al-Muhafazah 'ala al-Qadim al-Salih wa al-Akhd bi al-Jadid al-Aslah is expected to be able to alleviate the complexity of the education system implemented in Islamic boarding schools. At the very least, this offer is the first step towards a future pesantren with the spirit of salih li kulli zaman wa al-makan; have sensitivity and care about the development of the world. So that here the researcher is interested in researching about how the problems of learning Islamic Cultural History at MTs Salafiyah Syafiiyah Bandung Diwek Jombang and how the teacher's efforts in overcoming the problems of learning the History of Islamic Culture at MTs Salafiyah Syafiiyah Bandung Diwek Jombang. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection methods: observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used Miles and Huberman's interactive model which included data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. To check the validity of the data, it was used research extension, observation persistence and triangulation. The results of this study found that: Mathematics of learning resource problems are incomplete, lack of understanding of the method, the lack of media so that it meets the learning objectives, student problems before and during learning, some evaluation scores are below standard. The teacher's efforts: learning resources are handled with the internet as a complementary source, methods are handled with other methods prepared by the teacher, media are overcome with other media that are easy to find, students are overcome with several common things, evaluation is overcome with remedial programs

This study aims, first, to describe the implementation of student management at MTs Raden Rahmat Selorejo Jombang. Second, describe the quality of madrasas at MTs Raden Rahmat Selorejo Jombang. Second, the quality of madrasas at MTs Raden Rahmat Mojowarno is quite good with indicators a. Focus on customers both internal and external. Customer internal includes parents, students, teachers, administrators, staff and the board schools in the education system. While the customer External factors are the community, companies, families and universities. b. Total involvement of the institution by involving the entire community in the institution to participate in improving the quality of madrasas. c. Continuous improvement in the form of evaluating each component within the institution through monthly meetings organized by the madrasa, involving the community and stakeholders

    This research to analyze and describe the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the madrasa-based curriculum at MTs Bahrul Ulum Gadingmangu Perak Jombang. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, with the type of field study research. For data collection techniques through interview techniques, observation, and documentation. Meanwhile, to check and examine data from various data collection techniques and existing data sources, the researchers used source triangulation techniques. The results of the research found are: (1) Madrasa-based curriculum planning begins with a meeting at the beginning of the school year and the formation of a curriculum development team. Curriculum planning refers to curriculum components, among others, determining curriculum objectives in accordance with the madrasa's vision and mission, determining learning content or materials, learning processes (methods), learning evaluations carried out by written tests and oral tests, (2) Implementation of a curriculum-based Madrasahs are divided into two parts, namely the implementation of the madrasa level curriculum who is responsible for the madrasah principal and the implementation of the class level curriculum is the responsibility of the educator, (3) Madrasa-based curriculum evaluation is carried out by evaluating the level of curriculum achievement, evaluating the performance of educators related to the implementation of the curriculum at the classroom level and assessment of student learning outcomes

    The purpose of this study is to describe the role of Musabaqoh Qiroatul Kutub (MQK) in increasing motivation to learn the yellow book, which is focused on the implementation of Musabaqoh Qiroatul Kutub (MQK) at the Fathul Ulum Islamic Boarding School Jombang, the motivation to learn the yellow book at the Fathul Ulum Islamic Boarding School Jombang, how the role of Musabaqoh Qiroatul Kutub (MQK) in increasing motivation to learn the yellow book at the Fathul Ulum Islamic Boarding School Sanan Puton Diwek Jombang. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with a case study design of data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Furthermore, data analysis was carried out using an interactive analysis model. The results of the study state that: 1. The MQK at the Fathul Ulum Islamic Boarding School is held every 27th Rojab which is carried out in accordance with the implementation and assessment techniques of the Ministry of Religion's MQK, only differing in determining the level and the winner. 2. The motivation to learn the yellow book at the Fathul Ulum Islamic Boarding School is low because it is influenced by interests, talents and thoughts about the times. The strategies applied are a) the development of learning such as learning nature, rihlah and halaqah. b) competitions such as wording in Arabic, quizzes, opening dictionaries, and MQK. 3. The application of Musabaqoh Qiroatul Pole (MQK) at the Fathul Ulum Islamic Boarding School in Jombang plays a very important role in increasing students' motivation to learn the yellow book. The development of a strategy by not eliminating the Islamic tradition in this age of technological development really needs to be done to increase motivation to learn the yellow book, so that the main goal of pesantren, namely to produce generations of good morals and generations of Ulama cadres, can still be achieved
