Penerapan Ekonomi Sirkular Dalam Penanganan Sampah Di Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat
The increasing volume of waste in West Sumbawa Regency has become a pressing issue, driven by population growth, urbanization, and changing consumption patterns that continue to generate more waste, while the capacity of the Final Processing Site (TPA) is limited and nearing its maximum threshold. This study aims to analyze the current waste management practices in West Sumbawa Regency, examine external factors influencing the application of a circular economy in waste handling using the PESTELC approach, and develop recommendations for a circular economy model in waste management through a descriptive qualitative method, with data analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model and verified through triangulation. The findings reveal that the current waste management system still follows a linear “collect-transport-dispose” model, with the Batu Putih Final Processing Site operating through open dumping and limited waste processing, resulting in inadequate waste management both upstream and downstream. Institutional structures are not yet optimally organized, transportation facilities are insufficient, and the concept of a circular economy has not been implemented. The PESTELC analysis shows that the implementation of a circular economy is still hindered by non-specific policies, limited funding and market access, low public awareness, lack of appropriate technology adoption, and weaknesses in legal frameworks and competition. The recommended circular economy model proposes a transition from the current linear system to a sustainable and collaborative circular system, aimed at improving environmental quality and creating new economic opportunities for the local community.

Fundamental Movement Skill (FMS) analysis of young karate athletes
Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS) are critical for youth athletes as the foundation for sport-specific performance and long-term physical development. Karate, as a physically demanding sport, requires strong motor skills such as balance, coordination, and agility. However, current training practices in early-stage athlete programs, such as the Student Achievement Sports Program (POPB), often prioritize technical skills over foundational motor development. This study aims to evaluate the level of FMS mastery in POPB DKI Jakarta karate athletes aged 12–15, providing insight into their motor readiness for advanced training phases. A quantitative descriptive method with a survey approach was used. Data were collected from 31 athletes (19 males, 12 females) through the PLAYfun assessment instrument, which evaluates locomotion, object control, and body management skills. The average FMS score was 73.21, categorized as competent. Athletes showed proficient levels in balance-related tasks, while components like kicking, skipping, and striking were near the lower competent threshold. Female athletes slightly outperformed males in body management skills. The findings indicate that while overall FMS levels are adequate, there is a need for targeted development in specific motor areas, particularly those supporting agility and coordination in karate techniques. The study underscores the necessity of integrating FMS assessments into early athlete training programs. Coaches should adopt individualized training based on FMS profiles and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Future research should involve larger samples and technology-based assessments for enhanced accuracy and long-term athlete development plannin
The Relationship Between Grip Strength, Agility, and Hand Eye Coordination Hand Eye Coordination on Groundstroke Ability Field Tennis Athletes
Groundstrokes are an important technical skill in tennis that determine an athlete's performance, and their execution requires technical support and optimal physical condition. Three main physical components grip strength, agility, and hand-eye coordination contribute to the effectiveness of basic strokes. This study aims to determine (1) the relationship between grip strength and groundstroke ability in tennis players. (2) the relationship between agility and groundstroke ability in tennis players. (3) the relationship between hand-eye coordination and groundstroke ability in tennis players. (4) the relationship between grip strength, agility, and hand-eye coordination and groundstroke ability in tennis players. This correlational study involved 54 athletes aged 12 years or younger from the Selabora FIKK UNY Club and Kentoeng Tennis Academy, selected purposively. The instruments used included a hand grip dynamometer for strength, the Illinois Agility Test for agility, a tennis ball catch-throw test for hand-eye coordination, and the Hewitt Tennis Achievement for basic stroke skills. Data analysis was conducted using multiple regression. The results indicate a significant relationship between grip strength (r=0.303; contribution 5.32%), agility (r=-0.588; contribution 19.22%), and hand-eye coordination (r=0.818; contribution 51.56%) and groundstroke ability. Overall, the three factors contributed 76.10% (Fcount =57.254). It can be concluded that grip strength, agility, and hand-eye coordination significantly influence the groundstroke ability of tennis players
Application of Long Interval Training Method Based on Low Maximum Aerobic Speed Capacity to Improve Capacity Anaerobic Alactacid
This study aimed to determine the effect of Long Interval Training (LIT) based on low Maximum Aerobic Speed (MAS) on improving anaerobic alactate capacity in female futsal athletes. The research involved 24 athletes from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, divided into groups according to training type—Short Interval Training (SIT), Intermediate Interval Training (IIT), and Long Interval Training (LIT)—and MAS level, either high or low. Each group was assessed on dependent variables including aerobic capacity, anaerobic lactacid, and anaerobic alactacid capacity. LIT is designed to stimulate the anaerobic energy system through a combination of high-intensity work and adequate recovery periods. The primary analysis focused on four athletes with low MAS who participated in 16 LIT sessions. The study employed a one-group pretest-posttest design, and data were analyzed using a paired sample t-test to evaluate performance changes. The results indicated an increase in the average 20-meter sprint time from 3.34 seconds to 3.69 seconds; however, this change was not statistically significant (p = 0.296). Despite the lack of statistical significance, low MAS-based LIT demonstrated practical potential in improving anaerobic alactate performance, particularly in athletes with lower aerobic capacity. This study has limitations, such as the small sample size and short intervention duration, which may affect generalizability. Future research should include larger samples, longer training periods, and control groups for more robust results. The findings imply that incorporating LIT into training plans can enhance explosive performance in futsal athletes, offering coaches a practical, physiologically based approach to improve competitive readines
The Effect of Small Sided Games Training on the Improvement of Basic Passing and Dribbling Skills in Futsal Extracurricular Students at SMPN 1 Garut
Futsal is a sport that requires players to perform technical skills such as passing and dribbling under high pressure and limited space. However, many students in school futsal extracurricular programs still struggle to perform these skills consistently due to monotonous and less contextual training methods. This condition creates a research gap in developing effective training models that integrate game-like situations to enhance students’ technical performance. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the effect of Small Sided Games (SSG) training on improving basic passing and dribbling skills among futsal extracurricular participants at SMPN 1 Garut. The research employed an experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. A total of 24 students were purposively selected and divided into two groups: the experimental group, which received SSG training, and the control group, which followed conventional training. Data were collected using a passing accuracy test and a dribbling zig-zag test and analyzed using normality, homogeneity, and paired sample t-tests with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed a significant improvement in both passing and dribbling skills in the experimental group compared to the control group. These findings indicate that SSG effectively enhances students’ technical abilities, decision-making, and engagement in training. Theoretically, this study reinforces the relevance of contextual learning in sports education. Practically, SSG can serve as an innovative and enjoyable training model for school futsal programs. Future studies are recommended to explore variations of SSG to improve tactical and strategic aspects of futsal performanc
Psychological Strategies and Leadership in Adverse Organisational Contexts: A Case Study in Semi-Professional Football
This study analyses how a semi-professional football team can maintain its performance in an unfavourable organisational context. A descriptive case study was conducted during a comprehensive restructuring process of the management and coaching staff, characterised by non-payment, high turnover of coaches and internal conflicts. The intervention focused on psychological and leadership strategies, including conflict mediation, optimisation of physical preparation, and reinforcement of group cohesion. Three key dimensions of leadership were identified: training methodology, tactical management, and human management, along with the delegation of functions to specialists within the coaching staff. The results suggest that strategic psychological intervention and distributed leadership coordination can sustain collective performance, strengthen group cohesion, and generate group resilience, even in adverse conditions. This study provides evidence on the role of the sports psychology professional as a mediator and leader in critical contexts
