Integrating Sports Coaching Expertise into Sports Entrepreneurship: A Strategic Model for Business Development
This study explores the integration of sports coaching expertise into sports entrepreneurship as a strategic effort to promote business development in Makassar City. Despite the city’s rich sporting ecosystem, comprising over 150 registered clubs, 80 certified coaches, and a growing number of private training centres, the adoption of sportpreneurship remains underdeveloped. Using a qualitative descriptive design with an exploratory case study approach, data were collected from 50 informants, including experienced coaches, athlete-entrepreneurs, academics, sports business owners, and sports training institution managers. Methods included semi-structured in-depth interviews, focus group discussions (FGDs), document analysis, and participatory observation. Findings reveal that 84% of coaches recognize leadership and communication skills as highly transferable to entrepreneurial contexts, yet 62% cite regulatory and financial constraints as major obstacles. FGDs showed broad consensus on the need for structured mentorship and entrepreneurship education. Document analysis highlighted gaps in local policy and training curricula, while observational data confirmed inconsistent support for sportpreneur activities in practice. A strategic model was developed, consisting of four core components: coaching competencies, institutional support, education and mentorship, and partnership ecosystems. This model offers practical guidance for policymakers, educators, and sports organizations seeking to foster entrepreneurship within the coaching community. The study concludes that aligning coaching skills with entrepreneurial strategies can enhance individual career opportunities and support sustainable economic development in regional sports sectors. Recommendations include curriculum reform, targeted policy incentives, and public-private collaborations to operationalize the proposed model
Pertumbuhan vegetatif dan generative tanaman lidah buaya (aloe vera L.) varietas chinensis pada pasir pantai
Aloe vera (Aloe vera L.) is a plant belonging to the Liliaceae family, characterized by thick, fleshy leaves that are long, tapering at the tips, green in color, and contain a mucilaginous gel. Aloe vera cultivation can be conducted in coastal sandy soil. However, one of the major challenges of coastal sandy soil is abiotic stress caused by salinity. The propagation source significantly influences both generative and vegetative growth of the plant. This study aims to determine the optimal combination of propagation source and salinity stress for improving the generative and vegetative growth of Aloe vera in coastal sandy soil. The research was conducted in Tegalretno Village, Petanahan District, Kebumen Regency, Central Java, Indonesia. Cultivation took place inside a greenhouse measuring 21m x 10m. The plants were grown in 40 cm polybags, with a 50 cm spacing between each plant. A total of 252 plants were used in the study. The experiment followed a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with two factors. Data were analyzed using SPSS at a 5% significance level. The results demonstrated that the interaction between propagation source and salinity levels in coastal sandy soil significantly influenced both vegetative and generative growth of Aloe vera. The best vegetative growth was observed in the combination of propagation source from Gunung Kidul with an additional 10 g/L salinity (A1C2), producing an average plant height of 67.125 cm. Meanwhile, the highest number of shoots (3.69 shoots per week) was obtained in the combination of propagation source from Cilacap with an additional 10 g/L salinity (A3C2).

Pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman sawi hijau (Brassica juncea L.) dan bawang daun (Allium fistulosum L.) pada pola tanam tumpang sari di tanah ultisol yang diberi pupuk organik cair urin kelinci
This study aimed to evaluate the effect of the intercropping pattern of green mustard and spring onions given Liquid Organic Fertilizer (LOF) of rabbit urine on growth and production. The study used the experimental method with randomized Block Design (RBD). All treatments received fertilization with rabbit urine LOF at the same dose (50 ml/l water), and the treatments are P1 (monoculture of mustard greens), P2 (intercropping of mustard greens ₊ one row of spring onions), and P3 (intercropping of green mustard ₊ two rows of spring onions). Each treatment was repeated six times, so there were 18 treatment units. The growth and production components of green mustard and spring onions were the variables observed in this study. The data obtained were tested using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and further tested with the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Furthermore, The effectiveness of planting patterns was evaluated using the Land Equity Ratio (LER) to compare land use efficiency with the economic benefits of the monoculture pattern. The results showed that the planting system with an intercropping pattern can increase (p<0.05) the growth and production of green mustard except for the variables of leaf length and root length (p>0.05). Meanwhile, the intercropping system of mustard greens, with both one row and two rows, provides higher land use efficiency than monocultures, with LER values of 2,132 and 3,334, respectively. It can be concluded that a planting system with an intercropping pattern between mustard greens and spring onions is an ideal and recommended combination
DESIGN OF NEVEL JOINT MANUFACTURING PROCESS USING MASTERCAM X5 TO PRODUCE G CODE
MasterCam is a software used to simulate the machining process where the final result produces a G code that can later be used on a CNC machine and can be used to create an object according to the design in the simulation process. With the MasterCam software, it can simplify and accelerate the manufacture of a product with the same dimensions and shape. CNC machines are used to make products in large quantities without any difference from all of these products, because CNC moves and operates based on a program, not based on the skills of the operator. A study has been conducted using MasterCam software on how to make a Nevel product so that the resulting G code can be transferred to a CNC machine. The material used to make a nevel is bras
