Kontribusi agribisnis manggis terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga petani di Desa Pusparahayu, Kecamatan Puspahiang
Mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana L.) is Indonesia's leading tropical horticultural commodity with increasing market demand. West Java, particularly Tasikmalaya Regency, is known as a major production centre. In Tasikmalaya, especially in Pusparahayu Village is a mangosteen producing area with the majority of the harvest for export. This underlines the great opportunity for mangosteen agribusiness to improve farmers' welfare. However, the seasonal nature of the harvest raises questions about the stability of farmers' income to build permanent assets. This phenomenon indicates that the complex management strategy of mangosteen agribusiness beyond harvest needs to be studied in depth. Previous research tends to focus on farm income, without highlighting the important role of post-harvest activities by farmers. This study analysis the socioeconomic characteristics of mangosteen farmers and the contribution of mangosteen agribusiness to farmers' household income in Pusparahayu Village. A descriptive quantitative approach was used through a survey of 30 respondent farmers, selected based on a minimum of 10 years of mangosteen farming experience. Primary data were collected via interviews and observations; secondary data from literature review. Data analysis included calculation of production costs, revenue, profit, and household income from various sources (on-farm, off-farm, non-farm). Results showed that the majority of farmers were over 44 years old (56.67%) with primary school education, mangosteen farming experience averaged 10-20 years. Mangosteen agribusiness contributes dominantly, reaching 97.9% of farmers' total household income, consisting of 33.48% farming and 64.42% post-harvest. Side jobs such as self-employment, trading, or farm labour also support income outside the harvest season
STUDENTS’ LEARNING READINESS FROM KINDERGARTEN TO PRIMARY SCHOOL
Building children's readiness for learning during the transition from Early Childhood Education (ECE) to Elementary School (ES) will help children adapt to the new school environment and will influence their subsequent learning process. This study aims to (1) analyze children's learning readiness from a psychological perspective, and (2) to identify effective strategies to support their transition from early childhood education to elementary school. This qualitative research employed interviews and observations of three early childhood participants (ages 6-8) identified as having high (NA), medium (RA), and low (RD) learning readiness based on indirect questionnaires from 19 first-grade students. The secondary data were obtained from two classroom teachers and the school principal. This study utilized source triangulation (participants, parents, and teachers), technique triangulation (observation and interviews), and time triangulation. The findings indicate that the aspects of physical development and health, approaches to learning, cognition and general knowledge, language and early literacy, and social and emotional development vary among the three respondents. Effective strategies applied to respond to children's learning readiness is focusing on improving the quality of learning by aligning the concepts of early elementary school learning with those of ECE through enjoyable learning processes, instructional adjustments, and parental involvement in the ECE-ES transition. This study provides insights for parents, teachers, and educators in preparing children for the transition, emphasizing cognitive aspects, physical, and socio-emotional aspects. Additionally, recommendations are made for schools regarding the provision of enjoyable learning experiences for students, facilitate teaching at the right level, and ensuring students are well-prepared for subsequent stages of learning through parent involvement
Sex Education Through Reproductive System Materials on Body Privacy Awareness of Elementary/MI Students: A Systematic Review (2022-2024)
Sexual violence that occurs against children of various ages is still a global issue that is rampant in various countries. Schools as official educational institutions should provide facilities related to sexual education from an early age. This review uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, aiming to explore relevant literature to understand how sex education can be applied systematically and its impact on the body privacy awareness of elementary/middle school students.), covering five stages, namely; determine eligibility criteria, define information sources, literature selection, data collection, data item selection. 28 articles were obtained from Google Scholar and Scopus searches that met the criteria and will be analyzed. The results of the review show that sex education is important to teach to children from an early age. Of the 28 articles, 5 of them clearly mentioned in their research findings related to the urgency of child sex education. Various unique ways have been tested and researched to implement ideal sexual education in elementary schools, including psychoeducation, voicing media posters sex education based on audio visual and touch sensors, WiseBook, digital story media, and comics. Efforts to provide an understanding of body boundaries have also begun to be made, such as through role play and service-learning methods. However, only one study was found related to learning the human reproductive system, which showed that the results were not optimal. The lack of visual appeal in the teaching materials makes learning less interesting and tends to be boring

The Impact of Problem-Based and Culturally Responsive Teaching on Civic Learning Achievement in Primary School Students: An Experimental Study
Pancasila education in elementary schools still focuses on the cognitive aspect and has not yet fully succeeded in shaping students' behavior in accordance with Pancasila values. This reflects the need for a more contextual approach so that students can internalize these values through a love for local culture and wisdom. This study aims to examine the effect of applying the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model combined with a Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach on the civic learning achievement of fifth-grade students at SDN Panaragan 1, Bogor City. The study employed a quasi-experimental method using a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The subjects consisted of two groups: class VA consisting of 33 students as the experimental group receiving PBL integrated with CRT, and class VB consisting of 33 students as the control group taught using conventional methods. Data were collected through a 25-item multiple-choice test that had been previously validated and tested for reliability. The results showed that the average N-Gain score in the experimental group was 77, while the control group scored 69. A t-test revealed that the t_calculated value (2.68) was greater than the t_table value (1.99773), indicating a significant effect of integrating PBL and CRT on students' civic learning outcomes. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the use of the PBL model combined with the CRT approach effectively enhances students' enthusiasm, participation, interest, and learning achievement in Pancasila education. Therefore, it is recommended that this integration of PBL and CRT be implemented in other classes and schools
