Pelatihan Penyusunan Instrumen Assesmen Diagnostik Bagi Guru Akuntansi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta
Asesmen diagnostik merupakan langkah penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran akuntansi, terutama dalam mengidentifikasi kekuatan, kelemahan, dan kebutuhan belajar siswa. Namun, sebagian besar guru akuntansi di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta masih menghadapi kendala dalam penyusunan instrumen asesmen diagnostik yang valid dan reliabel. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan penyusunan instrumen asesmen diagnostik kognitif maupun nonkognitif. Metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah, diskusi, praktik langsung, serta review instrumen yang telah disusun oleh peserta. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 40 guru akuntansi anggota MGMP Akuntansi DIY dan dilaksanakan secara luring serta daring. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa 100% peserta menyatakan puas terhadap materi, fasilitator, dan manfaat pelatihan, dengan lebih dari 90% responden menilai kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat untuk mendukung profesionalisme guru. Pelatihan juga mendorong peserta untuk mengembangkan instrumen asesmen yang lebih aplikatif dan berbasis kebutuhan siswa. Dengan demikian, program ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru, serta memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran akuntansi di sekolah.

Pemberdayaan Penyandang Disabilitas melalui Literasi Keuangan Digital untuk Meningkatkan Resiliensi Keuangan di Yogyakarta
People with disabilities have gaps in access to conventional and digital financial services, and have credit limitations. Therefore, financial literacy assistance is needed to form financial resilience for people with disabilities. This service was carried out in the form of digital financial literacy assistance for people with disabilities for ULD UGM's fostered partners, namely the Indonesian Women with Disabilities Association (HWDI) Sleman. The service aims to increase the contribution of universities in digital financial literacy education for people with disabilities, as well as build financial resilience for people with disabilities through digital financial literacy for the ULD UGM fostered partners. The PkM activity will be held offline on July 3, 2025 at Kopi Candi Pakem, Sleman. In addition, online assistance was carried out with the HWDI Sleman coordinator. The outputs resulting from this service are (1) Certificates from partners that explain the lecturer as resource persons and facilitators during the activity, (2) Cooperation Manuscripts/IA, (3) Social media publications, (4) Posters, and (5) Intellectual Property Rights. The results of this PkM activity are: 1) Participants gain knowledge and insight into accounting literacy (financial recording), digital financial literacy, and marketing strategies for entrepreneurs; 2) Participants play an active role in the implementation of service activities; 3) Most of the participants considered that the service activities were carried out very well
Pemberdayaan dan Pengetahuan dalam Menerapkan Pola Makan Bergizi untuk Mencegah Penyakit
Konsumsi yang tinggi kalori, tinggi gula, rendah serat yang terjadi pada remaja saat ini akan berdampak pada terjadinya obesitas. Obesitas pada remaja cenderung mengalami peningkatan yang disebabkan kurangnya aktivitas fisik, tingginya konsumsi makanan yang tinggi kalori, serta lingkungan sekitar. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan yang didapatkan dari pihak sekolah sebelumnya didapatkan bahwa rata-rata siswa/siswi di SMA An-Najiyah ini merupakan anak pondok pesantren An-Najiyah. Siswa/siswi ini belum dapat menerapkan gizi seimbang, karena siswa/siswi ini belum pernah mendapatkan paparan terkait dengan tumpeng gizi seimbang. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dalam menerapkan pola makan bergizi dalam mencegah penyakit di SMA An-Najiyah Surabaya.
Metode yang digunakan dengan mengumpulkan siswa/siswi yang ditempatkan pada aula yang ada di SMA An-Najiyah Surabaya. Sebelum dilakukan edukasi siswa/siswi dilakukan pengukuran tinggi badan, berat badan yang digunakan untuk mengetahui status gizinya, setelah dilakukan skrining dilanjutkan dengan pemberian edukasi terkait dengan tumpeng gizi seimbang. Media edukasi yang digunakan adalah poster, PPT, buku saku yang digunakan untuk umpan balik terkait dengan edukasi yang diberikan. Peningkatan pemahaman dan pengetahuan terkait dengan materi yang telah diberikan pada remaja digunakan metode pretest dan posttest.
Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah dilakukan pada 45 siswa/siswi di SMA An-Najiyah Surabaya didapatkan hasil status gizi dengan kategori obesitas sebesar 25% dari 45 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan siswa didapatkan bahwa makanan yang mereka konsumsi rata-rata yang banyak mengandung gula dan lemak tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil pemahaman dan pengetahuan terkait dengan edukasi yang telah diberikan terkait dengan tumpeng gizi seimbang hasilnya mengalami meningkatan sebesar 90 %
Peningkatan Kompetensi Guru SMA dalam Revitalisasi Praktikum Sains melalui Workshop dan Repraktik di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya
Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru SMA dalam merancang dan melaksanakan praktikum sains melalui program revitalisasi praktikum berbasis workshop dan repraktik di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi guru adalah keterbatasan manajemen praktikum, minimnya variasi modul kontekstual, serta rendahnya intensitas kegiatan laboratorium. Program dilaksanakan pada tahun 2025 dengan metode bertahap meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, ujicoba modul praktikum, pendampingan, serta evaluasi berkelanjutan. Workshop difokuskan pada penyusunan perencanaan praktikum terintegrasi kurikulum, pengembangan modul praktikum berbasis STEM dan inkuiri, serta pelatihan keterampilan laboratorium sederhana seperti pembuatan preparat sayatan, pewarnaan bakteri, kromatografi, hingga dokumentasi digital. Selanjutnya, guru melakukan repraktik untuk menguji modul dan menyesuaikannya dengan kondisi sekolah. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun modul kontekstual, melaksanakan praktikum hemat biaya, serta mendokumentasikan kegiatan dengan teknologi digital. Evaluasi juga mengungkapkan peningkatan motivasi guru dan partisipasi siswa dalam praktikum. Simpulan dari program ini adalah bahwa workshop dan repraktik efektif meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru, membangun budaya praktikum yang sistematis, serta mendukung penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka di sekolah mitr
Penguatan Kesadaran Pekerja Migran Indonesia Terhadap Pentingnya Pendidikan Anak di Hongkong
Based on official data from Statistics Indonesia's Economic and Financial Statistics for 2024, there are 464,000 Indonesian migrant workers employed overseas, with 3,848,000 of them working in Hong Kong. The high number of migrant workers means that children receive less direct care from their parents. This situation causes children to experience difficulties in their learning and schooling. Based on the problems faced by partners, this community service activity attempts to offer solutions in the form of socialization to raise awareness among migrant workers about children's education and its long-term impact, as well as training and assistance in financial planning for migrant workers in Hong Kong. Community service activities have been carried out in several activities, including coordination with the Special Branch Leader of 'Aisyiyah Hong Kong as a community service partner, and the creation of media in the form of leaflets related to future investment education and access to higher education. Furthermore, community service activities in the form of socialization and training on PMI financial management for children's education were held over two days at the Islamic Centre Hong Kong Mosque, where the Community Service Team also distributed TTG products resulting from faculty community service activities. The community service activities concluded with a visit to the Indonesian Consulate General in Hong Kong to enhance cooperation networks with UNNES
PEMODELAN TOPIK BERITA NASIONAL INDONESIA MENGGUNAKAN LATENT DIRICHLET ALLOCATION
Penelitian ini membahas penerapan metode Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) untuk pemodelan topik berita terkini di Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan melalui RSS feed dari beberapa portal berita nasional seperti Detik, Kompas, Tribunnews, Liputan6, Tempo, CNN Indonesia, dan Antara News. Proses penelitian meliputi tahapan pengambilan data, pembersihan dan preprocessing teks, eksplorasi awal frekuensi kata, penyusunan representasi korpus, pemodelan topik LDA, visualisasi interaktif dengan pyLDAvis, serta evaluasi model menggunakan metrik coherence score. Hasil analisis menunjukkan model LDA dengan lima topik memberikan distribusi kata kunci yang relevan dengan isu-isu utama seperti bencana, politik, demonstrasi, korupsi, dan kriminal. Nilai coherence score sebesar 0,3591 mengindikasikan tingkat koherensi cukup baik, meskipun terdapat ruang optimasi melalui penyesuaian parameter. Visualisasi interaktif menunjukkan keterpisahan topik yang memadai, dengan tumpang tindih yang relatif kecil. Temuan ini memperlihatkan bahwa LDA efektif untuk mengidentifikasi topik dominan dalam berita nasional, sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan untuk analisis tren isu publik, pengelompokan konten media, serta mendukung pengambilan keputusan berbasis data
Analysis of students’ computational thinking in solving numerical methods problem using microsoft excel
Computational thinking is an essential skill in the digital age, particularly in Numerical Methods courses that require logical, algorithmic, and technology-based problem solving. However, students often find it difficult to acquire algorithmic thinking and abstraction while using computational tools to apply numerical techniques. This study aims to assess the computational thinking abilities of Universitas Banten Jaya students by examining their algorithmic and abstraction indicators during Numerical Methods exercises in Microsoft Excel. This study, which employed a descriptive quantitative–qualitative methodology, involved 62 students who were enrolled in the Numerical Methods course during the Odd Semester of the 2025–2026 academic year. Data for the midterm exam was collected via students' responses to computational essays that involved the development of algorithms, their application in Microsoft Excel, and the analysis of their results. Qualitative data was evaluated using content analysis, and quantitative data was evaluated using descriptive statistics. The results showed a medium level of computational thinking skill with an average score of 66.29. The achievement scores for the algorithmic and abstraction measures are 67.34% and 67.74%, respectively. These findings suggest that more structured and digitally integrated training is needed to improve students' computational thinking skills
Students’ Mathematical Critical Thinking Processes in Solving Algebraic Problems: A Qualitative Analysis Based on Watson–Glaser Indicators
Mathematical critical thinking is a fundamental competence required for effective algebraic problem solving; however, many students experience difficulties that extend beyond procedural errors. This study aims to analyze junior secondary students’ mathematical critical thinking processes in solving algebraic problems based on the Watson–Glaser critical thinking indicators. Employing a qualitative descriptive design, the study involved 40 seventh-grade students from a public junior high school in Indonesia. Written test data were used to describe the overall distribution of students’ critical thinking levels, while in-depth qualitative analysis was conducted on three purposively selected students representing high, moderate, and low ability levels. Data were analyzed through indicator-based scoring and qualitative content analysis supported by interview data. The findings reveal that students’ mathematical critical thinking ability was predominantly low, with major difficulties in deductive reasoning and the evaluation of arguments. Qualitative results indicate distinct reasoning patterns across ability levels: high-ability students demonstrated coherent reasoning but weak communication of conclusions, moderate-ability students showed fragmented and inconsistent reasoning, and low-ability students relied heavily on intuitive guessing with limited conceptual understanding. These findings highlight the need for process-oriented, differentiated instructional strategies that explicitly foster critical thinking in algebraic learning
Reconceptualising the Cognition–Achievement Relationship in Secondary Mathematics: Evidence from a Classroom-Based Correlational Study
This study aimed to examine the strength and direction of the relationship between mathematical thinking processes and mathematics learning outcomes among ninth-grade junior high school students. The research employed a quantitative nonexperimental correlational design to identify associative patterns between variables without inferring causal relationships. The population consisted of 476 students across twelve classes, and the sample was selected using purposive sampling, resulting in one intact class comprising 36 students. Data on mathematical thinking processes were collected through four constructed-response (essay) items designed to measure reasoning, conceptual linkage, and structured problem-solving abilities. Mathematics learning outcomes were obtained from students’ midterm examination scores as indicators of curriculum-based academic achievement. Data analysis was conducted in several stages, including descriptive statistical analysis and normality testing using the Shapiro–Wilk test. Due to non-normal distribution in one variable, the relationship between variables was analysed using Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient as a non-parametric alternative. The results indicated that students demonstrated relatively adequate levels of mathematical thinking; however, the correlation between mathematical thinking processes and learning outcomes was positive but weak and statistically non-significant (ρ = 0.211, p > 0.05). These findings suggest that mathematical thinking, while conceptually important, may not function as a strong standalone predictor of examination-based academic performance. The study implies that mathematics learning outcomes are influenced by multiple interacting cognitive and contextual factors, highlighting the importance of aligning assessment practices with higher-order thinking competencies to enhance the measurable contribution of mathematical reasoning to student achievement
Pelatihan Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Digital di SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Playen, Gunungkidul
The development of digital technology requires teachers to be more innovative in designing interactive and contextual learning that aligns with the characteristics of 21st-century learners. However, observations revealed that teachers at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Playen still face challenges in utilizing digital media, both in terms of technical competence and pedagogical integration. This Community Service Program (PkM) aimed to enhance teachers’ competence in developing digital-based learning media through training and mentoring. The methods employed included lectures, discussions, demonstrations, and hands-on practice, covering materials such as the introduction of digital media concepts, the use of applications (Canva for Education, Liveworksheet, and interactive PowerPoint), as well as the design of contextual media according to subject areas. The program was conducted in three sessions from August to September 2025, involving 37 teachers as participants. Evaluation results showed that all participants (100%) attended the program, 95% rated the quality of materials as excellent, and 80% reported significant improvement in their digital media development skills. The media products created demonstrated creativity and relevance to learning in the Merdeka Curriculum. Thus, this program successfully improved teachers’ competence while also supporting the digital transformation of education at SMK. It is expected that the program can be replicated in other schools with extended training duration and continuous mentoring to achieve more optimal results
