    No full text
The master's thesis endeavors to develop a Business Plan 2.0, aiming to furnish entrepreneurs with a comprehensive framework for establishing resilient and future-proof businesses. This objective seeks to capitalize on the familiarity of the conventional business plan model while integrating the intricacies of sustainability. Initially, a thorough review of literature is conducted to discern opportunities for augmenting the existing model. Subsequently, this revised iteration is presented to a panel of experts, whose feedback and expertise inform further refinement, resulting in an enhanced version of the conventional model. This redefined model, retaining its fundamental components albeit completely reconceptualized and expanded, encompasses a spectrum of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) methodologies. Consequently, it is deduced that a Business Plan 2.0 has been conceived, addressing the research inquiry: "How can CSR strategies be effectively assimilated into the formal startup processes of new ventures in Austria, within the confines of the business plan?" However, it is imperative to acknowledge that this represents merely one avenue for integrating CSR strategies into the startup phase. Given its visual resemblance to the original model, it may also garner acceptance among individuals who lack inherent motivation for sustainable entrepreneurship. Nevertheless, it is crucial to underscore the necessity for further empirical research to validate the model, not solely in theoretical terms but also through practical implementation within authentic startup contexts.

    No full text

    No full text
This thesis explores Spain's transition from an authoritarian regime under Franco to a parliamentary monarchy and its integration into the European Economic Community (EEC) in 1986. It examines two core questions: why Spain’s 1962 EEC membership application was rejected and the consequences of this decision, as well as how Spain’s democratic reforms facilitated its eventual accession. The rejection of Spain's 1962 application highlighted the EEC’s commitment to democratic values, leaving Spain politically isolated and emphasizing the need for reform. Following Franco's death in 1975, Spain undertook significant political transformations, culminating in the democratic Constitution of 1978, which established fundamental rights, decentralization, and modern institutional structures. The victory of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) in 1982 under Felipe González marked a turning point, as the government prioritized EEC membership while addressing economic challenges, including agricultural modernization and industrial reform. Despite resistance from some EEC member states, Spain’s political commitment and adaptability led to its successful accession on January 1, 1986. This thesis concludes that Spain's democratic transition and European integration were interconnected. EEC membership symbolized the culmination of Spain’s transition, providing international recognition of its democratic achievements, while fostering economic growth and political stability.Masterarbeit Wien, Fachhochschule des BFI Wien 202

Die Akzeptanz von Unternehmens-GPT : eine qualitative Fallstudie des Unternehmens ÖAMTC

    No full text

Since the publication of the “Agile Manifesto” in 2001, agile methods have been widely applied in software development. This master’s thesis examines the application of agile methods in the development of combined software and hardware products in the medical device sector. In the highly regulated medical device development field, traditional, stage-driven models such as the V-model continue to dominate for ensuring regulatory compliance. The aim of this study was to determine the extent to which agile methods are also used in the development of complex medical technology products and to analyze their impact on team structures and organizations. The research comprised a literature review and expert interviews. Initially, it was explored which agile methods are used in medical device development and whether these methods are applied in both software and hardware contexts. The empirical section collects qualitative data on the practical application of agile methods in medical technology through interviews with senior professionals from the industry. The experts’ statements largely align with the literature findings, adding nuances and providing practical context. They also offer insights into the current state of agile method implementation in medical device development, where, according to experts, a hybrid approach between stage-gate and agile methods is predominant. Experts’ experiences range from a classic development approach with agile methods for specific software components to a full organizational transition towards agile. The results indicate that agile methods are mainly used in software development, where iterative feedback loops foster flexibility and risk reduction. However, challenges persist in integrating agile approaches into hardware development and restructuring traditional organizational frameworks. Experts underline the relevance of hybrid approaches, combining agile and stage-driven methods to meet regulatory requirements and accelerate innovation cycles.

    No full text

    No full text
Organizational identification is a crucial factor for employee commitment to their company. The stronger employees feel a sense of belonging to their organization and/or their team, the stronger their commitment to the company. Employees who feel strongly connected to the organization are more motivated, more productive, and less likely to stay away from the workplace than those who feel less connected. In view of the shortage of skilled workers and the upcoming retirement of the baby boomer generation, it is highly relevant for organizations to retain their employees in the long term. The distance associated with hybrid working models can affect employee identification and retention. It is therefore essential for employers to deal with the concept of organizational identification. The aim of this study is to develop recommendations for action that employers can take in hybrid work settings to strengthen the organizational identification of their employees. In hybrid work settings, where interaction between team members can be limited, the dimensions of leadership, communication and collaboration take on particular importance. As part of a quantitative research design, a questionnaire was constructed that considers the dimensions of leadership, collaboration, and communication. The reliability of the scales was very good. Data was collected from 219 people. Using simple or multiple regression analysis and moderation, 15 hypotheses were tested, which assumed that the individual dimensions influence organizational identification or identification with the team. It was also assumed that working from home would have a moderating effect. The research results showed that all dimensions have an influence on organizational identification, whereby the dimension of collaboration, in the form of perceived support from the organization, influence most strongly with organizational identification. It was also found that working from home had no moderating effect on the relationship between the individual dimensions and organizational identification. The findings show that all recommendations presented in this paper are suitable for strengthening organizational identification, regardless of whether hybrid working is used or not.

    No full text
Generation Z, which is characterized by digital competence and a strong value system, is changing the world of work through its unique beliefs and expectations of employers. The importance of social relationships, whether maintained via social media or face to face, is also very important to this generation. Friendships at work are also included. Using a qualitative research design involving interviews, workplace friendships were found to be highly important for well-being and job satisfaction. Friendships have more than just emotional value, they provide security and promote the exchange of information, cooperation and performance. According to the study participants, close relationships with colleagues have a positive influence on the working atmosphere and increase motivation. The results also show that Generation Z has a strong need for a work environment that promotes ethical values and actively promotes workplace friendships. Companies should take targeted measures to build a supportive social network, as this not only increases the well-being of employees, but also increases the performance and efficiency of the company.Masterarbeit Wien, Fachhochschule des BFI Wien 202

    Konsumentinnenverhalten Konsumentenverhalten

    No full text
The aim of this master’s thesis is to analyze the impact of equestrian influencer marketing on the purchasing behavior of Generation Y and Z in the equestrian clothing and equipment sector in Germany. Furthermore, it aims to examine whether different types of content and platforms influence the target audience's behavior, the long-term effects on the customer-brand relationship, and the criteria companies consider when selecting influencers. In the first part, the key topics of the equestrian industry, consumer behavior, and social media and influencer marketing are defined and explained as part of the literature review. The second part, the empirical section, implements three methods. First, a qualitative content analysis investigates and presents best practice cases in equestrian influencer marketing. Additionally, qualitative expert interviews are conducted to gain deeper insights into the strategies and criteria for influencer selection by companies in the equestrian industry. Finally, quantitative data is collected through an online survey to understand the consumer perspective on the influence of equestrian influencer marketing on purchasing behavior, interaction, and brand loyalty. The purchasing behavior of Generation Y and Z is influenced by recommendations from equestrian influencers. These influencers act as "remote stable friends," creating an emotional connection that impacts consumer behavior. Product recommendations serve as a means of reducing complexity in high-involvement purchases but can also trigger needs and lead to impulse buys. Authenticity, consistency in community interaction, and long-term partnerships with brands strengthen brand loyalty.Diplomarbeit Wien, Fachhochschule des BFI Wien 202
