Helicobacter Pylori, Infection, Virulence Factors and Treatment: A Review
Gastric and ulcer peptic disease is a common disease in the community. Considering the close relationship between peptic ulcer and gastritis caused by Helicobacter pylori. The prevalence of H. pylori increased markedly with age with the maximum colonization (81.5%) occurring in adults (40-60 years). H. pylori are bacteria that can cause an infection in the stomach or duodenum (first part of the small intestine). It’s the most common cause of peptic ulcer disease. H. pylori can also inflame and irritate the stomach lining (gastritis). Untreated, long-term H. pylori infection can lead to stomach cancer (rarely). H. pylori multiply in the mucus layer of the stomach lining and duodenum. The bacteria secrete an enzyme called urease that converts urea to ammonia. This ammonia protects the bacteria from stomach acid. As H. pylori multiply, it eats into stomach tissue, which leads to gastritis and/or gastric ulcer. Symptoms include dull or burning stomach pain, unplanned weight loss and bloody vomit. H-pylori-caused ulcers are commonly treated with combinations of antibiotics. Usually two antibiotics are prescribed. Among the common choices are amoxicillin, clarithromycin (Biaxin®), metronidazole (Flagyl®) and tetracycline and Proton pump inhibitor: Commonly used proton pump inhibitors include lansoprazole (Prevacid®), omeprazole (Prilosec®), pantoprazole (Protonix®), rabeprazole (Aciphex®) or esomeprazole (Nexium®). and Bismuth subsalicylate: Sometimes this drug (eg, Pepto-Bismol®) is added to the antibiotics plus proton pump inhibitor combinations mentioned above. This drug protects the stomach lining. combination treatment is usually taken for 14 days. One newer medication, Talicia®, combines two antibiotics (rifabutin and amoxicillin) with a proton pump inhibitor (omeprazole) into a single capsule

Impact of Human Capital on Economic Growth- A Growth Accounting Equation for Pakistan
The interest of researchers in exploring the various dimensions of human capital and observing its considerable impact on economic growth has caused the human capital theory to become a fascinating field of research for economists. The study focused on the impact of the human capital along with estimating a growth accounting equation for Pakistan. To fulfill the objectives of the study, two models have been estimated utilizing time series data from year 2001 to 2014. The first model transforms the standard Cobb-Douglas production function to its linear form using trans-log function. The 2nd model used three proxies of education enrolment at various levels along with two health proxies for human capital. The result drawn from model first concluded that Pakistan economy undergone through decreasing returns to scale during period under consideration. The 2nd model showed that the output per person is positively related to middle & higher secondary education enrolments while the enrolment at higher secondary education level & life expectancy showed a non-significant relationship contrary to infant mortality rate & primary education enrolment that showed negative and significant relationship. The study recommended policy implications that amongst the chosen enrolments at three levels, the education department may focus on enhancing enrolment at middle level while the health department may focus on reduction in infant mortality rate for enhancing per capita output in the country. The study has emphasized, for the first time, the need for inclusion of human capital as a separate factor of production like traditional labour and capital in national accounts statistics of Pakistan

Evaluating International Financial Reporting Standards and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in a Local Context: A Case from Pakistan
International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) are designed to ensure that financial information and financial reports presented to consumers are credible and comparable. The significance and implementation of the reporting rules in Pakistan are examined in this study, as well as how conflict situations affect this issue. Pakistan has a growing economy it is therefore, critical to ensure that the reporting requirements meet international standards, so that parent firms investing here do not have any reporting issues. To conduct this study, qualitative research paradigm was selected and purposive sampling was used. In-depth individual interviews were conducted with five participants: three male and two females between the ages of 45-50, working at upper management level. The interview protocol was self-developed by taking into consideration the objectives, research questions, and literature review. The main findings indicate that IFRS should be adopted for the best possible results, although it is difficult to achieve a 100% adoption due to the prevailing conflicts. Hence, a uniform and formal procedure to adopt in conflicting situations should be communicated. The findings will be beneficial for researchers and auditing firms

An Investigation of Fluctuating Productivity of Major Food Crops in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan (1984-2014)
Objectives: The aim of the present research is to look into the fluctuating production of main crops grown in Pakistan\u27s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Materials and Methods: This research utilized data covering the period from 1984 to 2014 from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, crop reporting agency as a secondary source. Wheat, maize, sugarcane, and rice production statistics are evaluated to determine the growth and variability of main food crops. The cubic growth model is shown to be the best suited model for wheat, sugarcane, and rice, In the case of maize, the power growth model has been found as being the most suitable.
Results: The findings of the data analysis revealed that growth for all key food crops is considerable, with calculated values of growth for wheat, maize, sugarcane, and rice being 10.96 percent, 8%, 45.31 percent, and 1.19 percent, respectively. The cuddy Della-vella index was also used to calculate the variability of main food crops. The variability in important food crops, such as wheat, maize, sugarcane, and rice, is found to be 1.53%, 1.23%, 0.44%, and 0.79%, respectively, utilizing the results of studied data. As an outcome of the studied data, it can be inferred that the expansion of key food crops is accompanied by an increase in production over time, and that this is attributable to the employment of enhanced high-quality seeds as well as advanced new technology.
Conclusion: It can be concluded that there has been serious change in the production of key food crops, however wheat crop variability is slightly more than some other food crops such as sugarcane and maize
