Cross Section Measurement of e(+)e(-) -> p(p)over-bar eta and e(+)e(-) -> p(p)over-bar Omega at Center-of-Mass Energies Between 3.773 GeV and 4.6 GeV
Based on 14.7 fb(-1) of e(+)e(-) annihilation data collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider at 17 different center-of-mass energies between 3.7730 GeV and 4.5995 GeV, Born cross sections of the two processes e(+)e(-) -> p (p) over bar eta and e(+)e(-) -> p (p) over bar omega are measured for the first time. No indication of resonant production through a vector state V is observed, and upper limits on the Born cross sections of e(+)e(-) -> p (p) over bar eta and e(+)e(-) -> p (p) over bar omega at the 90% confidence level are calculated for a large parameter space in resonance masses and widths. For the current world average parameters of the psi(4230) of m = 4.2187 GeV=c(2) and Gamma = 44 MeV, we find upper limits on resonant production of the p (p) over bar eta and p (p) over bar omega final states of 7.5 pb and 10.4 pb at the 90% CL, respectively
Bir Kamu Hastanesinde Örgütsel İklimin İş Doyumu Üzerine Etkisinin İncelenmesi
Çalışmanın amacı, sağlık sektöründeki çalışanların örgüt
iklimi algılarını ve iş doyum düzeylerini belirlemek, iş doyumlarının
örgüt iklimi algılarından etkilenip etkilenmediğini incelemektir. Gereç
ve Yöntemler: Araştırma, Adana Numune Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi sağlık personeli üzerinde yapılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak
Minnesota İş Doyumu Ölçeği ile Örgüt İklimi Ölçeği kullanılmıştır.
Elde edilen veriler, SPSS 21.0 programıyla analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın ana ve alt hipotezlerinin testine geçmeden önce kullanılan ölçeklerin güvenilirlikleri Cronbach alfa ile test edilmiştir. Bulgular:
Regresyon analizi sonuçlarına göre iş doyumunun %31,2’sinin örgüt
ikliminin alt faktörü olan ödül faktörü tarafından açıklandığı görülmüştür. Bu durumda örgüt ikliminin iş doyumu üzerine etkisi olduğu
kabul edilmiştir. Ayrıca diğer istatistiki sonuçlar incelendiğinde, cinsiyetin örgüt iklimi algısı, bu algının alt boyutlarını oluşturan ödül ve
bağlılık üzerinde anlamlı etkisi olduğu ve kurumdaki görev değişkeni
açısından incelendiğinde ise doktorların; hemşire, tekniker, sekreter ve
diyetisyenlere göre çalıştıkları örgütü ve elde ettikleri ödülleri daha
olumlu algıladıkları, diyetisyenlerin ise hemşire, tekniker ve sağlık memuruna göre genel örgüt iklimini ve örgütten elde ettikleri ödülleri daha
olumsuz algıladıkları görülmüştür. Sonuç: Çalışmada; sağlık kurumu
içerisindeki ödül sistemlerinin iş doyumunu artıracak biçimde belirlenmesinin, özellikle örgüt iklimine yönelik olumsuz algıları bakımından bir risk grubu teşkil edebilecek meslek grubunda çalışanların iş
doyumlarını artırmak için kurum içindeki ödül sisteminin yeniden düzenlenmesinin ve kadın çalışanlara pozitif ayrımcılık yapılmasının çalışanlarının iş doyumunu artırabileceği değerlendirilmiştir
TÜRKİYE’NİN SANAYİ ÜRETİMİ İLE DIŞ TİCARETİ ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİ: 2001-2009 DÖNEMİ İÇİN DEĞERLENDİRMELER
Amaç: Dış ticaret, ülkelerin kaynaklarını daha verimli kullanmalarına olanak tanımaktadır. Bazı ülkeler aynı malı daha verimli, daha hızlı, daha düşük maliyetle üretebilmekte ve dış ticarette rekabet avantajı elde edebilmektedir. Dolayısıyla ülkelerin ekonomik performanslarının ölçülmesinde dış ticaret ve üretim ilişkisi önem arz etmektedir. Bu bağlamda çalışma, 2001:12-2019:05 dönemi Türkiye’de sanayi üretim endeksi ile dış ticaret arasındaki ilişkiyi araştırmayı hedeflemektedir. Yöntem: Çalışmada Türkiye’de 2001:12-2019:05 dönemi sanayi üretimi ile dış ticaret arasındaki ilişki Vektör Otoregresif Model (VAR) analizi ile incelenmiştir. Türkiye’de sanayi üretim endeksi ile dış ticaret ilişkisinin yönünü belirlemek ve değişkenler arasındaki nedensellik ilişkisini analiz etmek amacıyla Granger Nedensellik Testi, Etki-Tepki ve Varyans Ayrıştırma Analizi kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Türkiye’de sanayi üretim endeksi ile dış ticaret arasında anlamlı ve önemli ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Analizler sonucunda sanayi üretim endeksi ile ithalat arasında çift yönlü nedensellik ilişkisi tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca sanayi üretim endeksinden dış ticaret hacmine doğru ve dış ticaret dengesinden sanayi üretim endeksine doğru tek yönlü nedensellik söz konusudur. Özgünlük: Türkiye’de sanayi üretimi ve dış ticaret dengesi konusunda çalışan karar vericilere destek olacak bir uygulamadır. Ayrıca, dış ticaret dengesi, dış ticaret hacmi, ihracat, ithalat ve uluslararası rezervler değişkenleri ile sanayi üretim endeksi arasındaki ilişkinin tek bir çalışmada yer alması literatüre katkı sağlayacaktır
The Intermediary Role of Capital Structure and Cash Attitude in the Relationshipbetween Research and Development (R&D) Capacity and Financial Performance:The Case of Istanbul Manufacturing Industry Enterprises
The aim of this study is to investigate whether capital structure and cash attitude play an intermediary role in the relationship between research and development (R&D) capacity and financial performance. The research data are obtained from business managers, who are medium and large scale companies operating in Istanbul and are also an R&D center, by survey method. Mediator analysis technique is applied to 139 data obtained. Structural equation model was used in the analysis of the data. SmartPLS program was used in the estimation of YEM. Analysis results revealed that R&D capacity and cash attitude have a direct effect on financial performance, whereas capital structure has no direct effect on financial performance. In addition, the research results supported the intermediary role of cash attitude in the relationship between R&D capacity and financial performance, while not supporting the intermediary role of capital structur
VR and AR in Teaching 3D Environment Design for Video Games
VR (Virtual Reality) and AR (Augmented Reality) are two different technologies that bring alternative or projected realities to our life [1]. They allow us to imagine and simulate any non-real sense of space as if it were real [2]. When teaching 3D design, a common problem would be being forced to look at the design through a 2D screen trying to navigate around it. Especially to a person who is not a professional on the field [3]. In this research we aim to provide details on how VR and AR technologies can be useful to fill this gap and provide better cognition by simulating the feeling of the real space and thus, better and faster learning curve for 3D design students. The method of this research is both experimentation and observation. We started to use these technologies in numerous classes and, important results started to emerge as we observe the improvement on the student’s understanding of 3D space and geometry. The students’ impressions along with their ability to create 3D geometry are observed. There is a clear and a considerable gain in favor of students when it comes to understanding and visualizing 3D spaces for environmental design when experienced through a VR or AR device. This way, students gain a big benefit on understanding the basics of 3D space and they visualize their own ideas and creations better as they also gain better reference points to establish a basis for their design. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG
Amplitude analysis and branching fraction measurement of Ds+ →k-K+π+π0
The first amplitude analysis of the decay Ds+→K-K+π+π0 is presented using the data samples, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 6.32 fb-1, collected with the BESIII detector at e+e- center-of-mass energies between 4.178 and 4.226 GeV. More than 3000 events selected with a purity of 97.5% are used to perform the amplitude analysis, and nine components are found necessary to describe the data. Relative fractions and phases of the intermediate decays are determined. With the detection efficiency estimated by the results of the amplitude analysis, the branching fraction of Ds+→K-K+π+π0 decay is measured to be (5.42±0.10stat±0.17syst)%. © 2021 authors
The investigation of the mediating role of coping trategies on the relationship between childhood traumas, depression and alcohol use disorder in university students
The aim of this study is to investigate the mediating effect of coping strategies on the relationship among childhood traumas, depression, and alcohol use disorder in university students. The participants of this study consisted of 735 (209 males and 526 females) university students. Participants completed measures of depressive symptoms, childhood traumas, problematic alcohol consumption, and coping strategies as well as a sociodemographic information form. According to results, coping strategies fully mediated the relationship between childhood traumas and alcohol use disorder, and partially mediated the relationship between childhood traumas and depression. © 2021 Elsevier Inc
Cross section measurement of e+e- →π+π-ψ (3686) from s =4.0076 GeV to 4.6984 GeV CROSS SECTION MEASUREMENT of e+e- →π+π-ψ (3686) ... ABLIKIM M. et al.
Using data samples with a total integrated luminosity of 20.1 fb-1 collected by the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII collider, the cross section of the process e+e-→π+π-ψ(3686) is measured at center-of-mass energies between 4.0076 and 4.6984 GeV. The measured cross section is consistent with previous results, and with much improved precision. A fit to the measured energy-dependent cross section, which includes three Breit-Wigner functions and a nonresonant contribution, confirms the existence of the charmonium-like states Y(4220), Y(4390), and Y(4660). This is the first observation of the Y(4660) at the BESIII experiment. © 2021 authors. Published by the American Physical Society. Amplitude Analysis and Branching Fraction Measurement of D-s(+) -> K+K-pi(+)
We report an amplitude analysis and branching fraction measurement of D-s(+) -> K+K-pi(+) decay using a data sample of 3.19 fb(-1) recorded with BESIII detector at a center-of-mass energy of 4.178 GeV. We perform a model-independent partial wave analysis in the low K+K- mass region to determine the K+K- S-wave line shape, followed by an amplitude analysis of our very pure high-statistics sample. With the detection efficiency based on the amplitude analysis results, the absolute branching fraction is measured to be B(D-s(+) -> K+K-pi(+)) = (5.47 +/- 0.08(stat) +/- 0.13(sys))%
Atrial Fibrillation Impact Questionnaire (AFImpact): Validity and Reliability of the Turkish Version
Objective: Guidelines recommend measuring and addressing health-related quality of life in the management of atrial fibrillation (AF); however, a disease-specific questionnaire is lacking for the Turkish language. Our aim was to translate and adapt the Atrial Fibrillation Impact Questionnaire (AFImpact) into Turkish and to explore its psychometric properties.
Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted in two phases, including the translation and cultural adaptation of AFImpact into Turkish language and the analysis of psychometric properties of the translated questionnaire. 98 patients diagnosed with AF were evaluated using the Turkish version of AFImpact, Short Form-36 (SF-36) and Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Reliability, validity, and factor structure of the Turkish version of AFImpact was explored.
Results: Cronbach's alpha coefficients for vitality, emotional distress, and sleep domains of AFImpact was 0.956, 0.955, and 0.819, respectively, indicating good-to-excellent internal consistency. No significant difference was detected between the initial and retest scores, and intraclass correlation coefficients of each domain varied between 0.991 and 0.996, indicating excellent test-retest reliability. Each domain of AFImpact highly correlated with similar domains of SF-36 and PSQI, having correlation coefficients between -0.484 and -0.699. AFImpact was able to discriminate between the patients in different functional classes, confirming know-groups validity. Factor analysis revealed AFImpact had the same factorial structure as the original questionnaire.
Conclusion: The Turkish version of AFImpact is a valid and reliable questionnaire for evaluating health-related quality of life in patients with AF
