No full textThe aim of this study is to investigate the mediating effect of coping strategies on the relationship among childhood traumas, depression, and alcohol use disorder in university students. The participants of this study consisted of 735 (209 males and 526 females) university students. Participants completed measures of depressive symptoms, childhood traumas, problematic alcohol consumption, and coping strategies as well as a socio-demographic information form. According to results, coping strategies fully mediated the relationship between childhood traumas and alcohol use disorder, and partially mediated the relationship between childhood traumas and depression

No full textThis article examines the link between innovative entrepreneurship and increasing trend on development of service industry. Market failure theories justify the existence of different forms of organization of services especially in digital exchange networks. Alternative approaches to service innovation allow us to further our research to analyze theoretical aspects of innovations in the development of services. The contemporary classification of service innovation concepts supplies us sufficient tools to construct the service development model. For this end, in our study we define service innovation function which is a special version of entrepreneurship augmented production function. Together with service development system, parametrization of factors of change rather than factors of production gives clearer understanding of the dynamics of service industry. The service development model founded on the axioms of organizational economics paradigm indicated the integration methods of new service innovations to the market

No full textBu çalışma, sosyal hizmetler alanındaki mesleki etik ilke ve sorumlulukların Türkiye’de hayata geçirilmesini güçleştiren etmenleri irdelemek ve sosyal hizmet profesyonellerinin etik uygulamadaki kilit konumunu görünür kılmak amacı ile kaleme alınmıştır. Türkiye’de sosyal hizmet alanında karşılaşılan etik ikilemlerde karar verme sürecini etkileyen etmenleri tartışırken “nasıl bir sosyal politika anlayışıyla hareket edildiği”ni irdelemek son derece önemlidir. Bu nedenle çalışmada, etik uygulama yapmanın önünde engel oluşturan etmenler, sosyal hizmetin hayata geçtiği politik bağlam üzerine yapılan teorik tartışmalarla ve eleştirel bir perspektifle ele alınmaya çalışılmıştır. Öncelikle sosyal refah devletinin ve sosyal politikaların Dünyada ve Türkiye’de geçirdiği dönüşüm tarihsel açıdan ele alınmış, ardından sosyal hizmet profesyonellerinin etik karar verme süreçlerini şekillendiren neo-liberal politikaların, sosyal hizmetler alanı üzerindeki olumsuz etkilerine dikkat çekilmeye çalışılmıştır. Sonuç olarak etik/iyi uygulama yapabilmek ve insan onuruna yakışır şekilde sosyal hizmet sunabilmek için sosyal hizmet profesyonellerinin politik düzlemde mücadele yürütmesi ve sosyal hizmetlerin makro düzeyde ele alınması gerektiği vurgulanmıştır

The Evaluation of Telemedicine-Online Health Services During Covid-19 in Turkey Private Hospitals : Thematic Analysis the Evaluation of Telemedicine-Online Health Services
No full textAim: With the Covid-19 outbreak, it has been observed that people wanted to receive healthcare services remotely. In other words, people wanted to reach healthcare services or healthcare professionals from their homes without going to the hospital. Thus, this study aimed to determine how telemedicine-online health services of private hospitals are handled on websites and social media channels.
Material and Methods: Data was collected by conducting qualitative content analysis to the websites and corporate social media of hospitals in Istanbul, the city where the most private hospitals in Turkey are located. Overall, 608 data from 76 hospitals were analysed using the thematic analysis method.
Results: When the analysis of the information was received a total of 8 themes emerged. These were divided into thematic codes as the telemedicine-online health service status, including the number of hospital beds, the content of written, visuals etc. posts, features of the branches of the application and details of other online health services.
Discussion: The use of telemedicine-online health services in private hospitals is found to be at the initial stage and written and visual posts are insufficient The information collected can help determine the current situation and contribute to private hospitals when determining new strategies
Windowed Scalogram Entropy: Wavelet-Based Tool to Analyze the Temporal Change of Entropy of a Time Series
No full textIn this paper, we propose a new entropy calculation method to observe the temporal change of the entropy of dynamical systems. The proposed entropy calculation method is based on the windowed scalogram which has been introduced recently. Therefore, we name this new method "windowed scalogram entropy." With this method, we can show the evolution of the Boltzmann-Gibbs-Shannon entropy over time using the probability distribution obtained by the normalized windowed scalogram. Before applying the method to time series with complex dynamics, we test the reliability of the method on some well-defined signals. Then, we employ seismic signals and pneumocardiogram signals to demonstrate the effectiveness of the method in the analysis of empirical data. We also compare the method with the windowed scale index and the sample entropy. It is observed that the windowed scalogram entropy is successful in analyzing the evolution of the entropy of seismic signals and pneumocardiogram signals over time. We understand that the windowed scalogram entropy can be used to observe the evolution of the entropy of nonlinear dynamical time series obtained in diverse fields

No full textBu makalede Borsa İstanbul ve Türkiye için oynaklık yayılımı sonuçları verilmektedir. Oynaklık öngörülememe, belirsizlik ve risk ile ilişkilidir. Finansta ise oynaklık genellikle hisse senedi fiyatı gibi bir finansal değişkenin zaman içinde yukarı veya aşağı hareket etme oranı olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Oynaklık yayılımı da bir finansal piyasada oluşan şokun diğer piyasalardaki oynaklığı etkilemesi veya farklı finansal piyasalar arasındaki risk geçişkenliği olayıdır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Ocak 2008 - Nisan 2020 döneminde günlük hisse senedi verilerini kullanarak asimetrik etkileri dikkate alan EGARCH modelleri kapsamında gelişmiş ve gelişmekte olan piyasalardan Borsa İstanbul’a doğru oluşan oynaklık yayılımını analiz etmektir. Çalışma sonucunda asimetrik etki parametresinin (�) % 1 düzeyinde negatif ve istatistiksel olarak anlamlı olduğu görünmektedir. Bu durum asimetrik etkinin, yani kaldıraç etkisinin Borsa İstanbul’da geçerli olduğunu göstermektedir. Oynaklık Dow Jones Borsa’sından Borsa İstanbul’a doğru yayılmaktadır. Ayrıca USD/TRLKuru ve TLLIBOR değişkenleri Borsa İstanbul’un oynaklığı üzerinde etkilidir. Bu sonuçlar yatırımcı davranışı ve kararında oynaklığın etkisini açıkça ortaya koymaktadır
Sosyal Medya Kullanım Alışkanlıklarının Kişilerarası Etkiye Tüketici Duyarlılığı ve Sosyal Karşılaştırma ile İlişkisi
No full textBazı bireyler, tüketim kararları söz konusu olduğunda başkalarının beklentilerini yerine getirmeye ve onayını almaya istekliyken, bazılarının ise diğer insanlardan etkilenme düzeyleri daha düşüktür. Bu durum, bireyin kişilerarası etkiye tüketici duyarlılığının bir ölçüsüdür. Kişilerarası etkiye tüketici duyarlılığının ilişkili olduğu kavramlardan biri de bireyin, referans aldığı diğer insanlarla yaptığı kıyaslamalar sonucunda kendini değerlendirmesi olarak özetlenebilecek olan sosyal karşılaştırma kavramıdır. Her gün milyonlarca içeriğin üretildiği sosyal medya platformlarının, kişilerarası etkiye tüketici duyarlılığı ve sosyal karşılaştırma eğilimi ile ilişkili olabileceği hususu araştırmanın çıkış noktasını oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın amacı, sosyal medya kullanım alışkanlıkları, sosyal karşılaştırma ve kişilerarası etkiye tüketici duyarlılığı arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koymaktır. Verilerin elde edilmesinde niceliksel bir metodoloji olan ankete başvurulmuştur. Amaçlı örnekleme türünün kullanıldığı araştırmada, sadece sosyal medyayı aktif olarak kullandığını ifade eden 385 katılımcıdan elde edilen veriler analizlere dâhil edilmiş olup, sosyal medyayı aktif olarak kullanmayan katılımcı verileri ise nihai analizlere dâhil edilmemiştir. Araştırma bulgularına göre, sosyal karşılaştırma ortalaması en yüksek olan sosyal medya kullanıcı grubu Facebook kullanıcılarıdır. Sosyal medya platformlarını başkalarının paylaşımlarını takip etmek amacıyla kullandığını ifade eden grubun, başkalarının paylaşımlarını takip etmediğini belirten gruba göre kişilerarası etkiye tüketici duyarlılığı ve sosyal karşılaştırma ortalaması daha yüksektir. Bununla birlikte, kişilerarası etkiye tüketici duyarlılığı ve sosyal karşılaştırma arasında güçlü ve pozitif yönde anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu, kişilerarası etkiye tüketici duyarlılığının sosyal karşılaştırma üzerinde anlamlı bir etkiye sahip olduğu da araştırmanın kayda değer sonuçları arasındadır

No full textBetrayal trauma consists of negative life experiences in which the victims are close to the traumatizing people as well as institutions for which they rely upon protection,
support, resources and survival. In most cases, it operates as a dynamic of dysfunctional families which are described as pathologically-structured patterns of thoughts,
emotions and behaviors, which function as violence-oriented negative child-rearing styles and generate childhood traumas. Trauma-related psychopathologies frequently
discussed with these notions tend to be correlated to a high risk of self-harming behaviors and suicide attempts. It is, thus, of great importance to comprehend, explain
and approach suicide attempts in trauma-related psychopathologies such as post-traumatic stress disorder and dissociative disorders by taking the dysfunctional familial
dynamics and succeeding betrayal trauma both in clinical and forensic settings. Thus, in this review, betrayal trauma, dissociative experiences and dysfunctional family
dynamics were discussed in terms of the dissociogenic reactions directed to them as well as flashbacks, suicide attempts and self-harming behaviors
