Yenilenebilir kaynaklardan molekuler baskilanmis polimer sentezi ve karakterizasyonu
In this study, molecular imprinted polymers targeting the potent antibiotic ciprofloxacin were prepared for the first time using renewable resources. Lactic acid maleic acid ester, methylene bisacrylamide, potassium persulfate and N, N, N', N' tetramethylenediamine were used as functional monomer, crosslinker and initiator, respectively. The chemical structure of the synthesized polymers was characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy, and the thermal behavior was characterized by Thermogravimetry. Developed molecularly imprinted polymers can be used in separation, catalysis, and sensor applications, and as drug delivery systems. © 2021 IEEE

The Effect of FoMO on the social media based purchasing intention with the moderation of gender
Çalışmanın amacı, gelişmeleri kaçırma korkusunun sosyal medya temelli satın alma eğilimi üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisinin olup olmadığının; bu etkinin de cinsiyet değişkeni ile düzenlenip düzenlenmediğinin incelenmesidir. Bu amaçlarla Türkiye’de yaşayan ve sosyal medya kullanan 18 yaş ve üzeri kişiler arasından amaçlı örneklem yöntemi kullanarak 372 kişiye çevrimiçi anket uygulanmıştır. Öncelikle AMOS 24 programı kullanılarak doğrulayıcı faktör analizi ile ölçüm modeli test edilmiştir. Ardından araştırma modeli SPSS 24 yazılımı ile Process Macro eklentisi aracılığıyla analiz edilmiştir. Sonuçlara göre; gelişmeleri kaçırma korkusu sosyal medya temelli satın alma eğilimi üzerinde anlamlı ve pozitif bir etkiye sahiptir ve bu etki kadınlarda erkeklere nazaran daha yüksektir
Wavelet-ANFIS hybrid model for MODIS NDVI prediction
#nofulltext#Urbanization at the expense of the natural environment has been increasing in Turkey in recent years. The toll it takes on the ecosystem has an adverse impact on local weather systems and natural resources. These rapid ecosystem changes are mostly observed in the western parts of Turkey. For a reliable prediction of sustainable development planning, the normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) can be used as the main index for the description of both urbanization and land class. This study proposes the optimum adaptive neural-fuzzy inference systems (ANFIS) and hybrid Wavelet-ANFIS (WANFIS) models to estimate NDVI variation for certain seasonal (summer and winter) data in a grid area of 20 x 20 km(2) centered at the Kandilli region of Istanbul, Turkey (28 degrees 57' 53 '' E and 41 degrees 01' 07 '' N). The calculated NDVI values were obtained using the WANFIS model and compared with the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer Observations. The results reveal that the mean absolute percentage error of NDVI values are calculated as 1.5% and 0.7% for the winter and summer test datasets, respectively. The coefficient of determination (R-2) values of the winter and summer test datasets are 0.977 and 0.991, respectively. Further, when compared with ANFIS, the results demonstrate that the WANFIS model exhibits a better approximation for the estimation of NDVI variation in the summer than in the winter. Measurements of Sigma(+) and Sigma(-) time-like electromagnetic form factors for center-of-mass energies from 2.3864 to 3.0200 GeV
The Born cross sections of the e(+)e(-) -> Sigma(+)(Sigma) over bar (-) and e(+)e(-)-> Sigma(-)(Sigma) over bar (+) processes are determined for centerof-mass energy from 2.3864 to 3.0200 GeV with the BESIII detector. The cross section lineshapes can be described properly by a pQCD function and the resulting ratio of effective form factors for the Sigma(+) and Sigma(-) is consistent with 3. In addition, ratios of the Sigma(+) electric and magnetic form factors, vertical bar G(E)/G(M)vertical bar. are obtained at three center-of-mass energies through an analysis of the angular distributions. These measurements, which are studied for the first time in the off-resonance region, provide precision experimental input for understanding baryonic structure. The observed new features of the Sigma(+/-) form factors require more theoretical discussions for the hyperons. (C) 2021 The Author(s)
Probabilistic assessment for spectrally matched real ground motion records on distinct soil profiles by simulation of SDOF systems
Selection of appropriate ground motion records for dynamic analysis has uttermost importance since it significantly affects structural responses which are used for seismic performance assessment of buildings. This study focuses on probabilistic assessment of several record selection strategies that apply different level of constraints for spectrally matched real ground motion records. For this purpose, single degree of freedom (SDOF) systems with various lateral strength capacity ratios, vibration periods and hysteretic models were considered to cover broad type of structural systems and maximum displacement demands of SDOF systems were obtained by nonlinear dynamic analyses. Using the analysis results, central tendency of maximum displacement demands was evaluated. Confidence intervals of the demands were also estimated in probabilistic manner. In addition, non-exceedance probability curves of the displacement demands were constructed. Results indicate that using supplementary constraints about spectral matching, it is possible to control the variation of spectral accelerations and hence the variation of seismic displacement demands. In conclusion, displacement demands can be obtained for code-or probability-based design/performance assessment with appropriate selection approach considering desired variation which can be determined from either probabilistic or deterministic seismic hazard analysis
Search for the Lepton Number Violating Decay Sigma(-) -> pe(-) e(-) and the Rare Inclusive Decay Sigma(-) -> Sigma(+) X
Using a data sample of (1310.6 +/- 7.0) x 10(6) J/psi events taken with the BESIII detector at the center-of-mass energy of 3.097 GeV, we search for the first time for the lepton number violating decay Sigma(-) -> pe(-) e(-) and the rare inclusive decay Sigma(-) -> Sigma(+) X, where X denotes any possible particle combination. The Sigma(-) candidates are tagged in J/psi -> (Sigma) over bar (1385)(+)Sigma(-) decays. No signal candidates are found, and the upper limits on the branching fractions at the 90% confidence level are determined to be B(Sigma(-) -> pe(-) e(-)) Sigma(+) X) < 1.2 x 10(-4)
Study of e(+)e(-) -> pi X-0(3872)gamma and search for Z(c)(4020)(0) -> X(3872)gamma
Using data samples collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII storage ring at center-of- mass energies from 4.178 to 4.600 GeV, we study the process e(+)e(-) pi X-0(3872)gamma and search for Z(c)(4020)(0) -> X(3872)gamma. We find no significant signal and set upper limits on sigma(e(+)e(-) -> pi X-0(3872)gamma) . B(X(3872) -> pi(+)pi(-)/J/psi) and sigma(e(+)e(-) -> pi(0)Z(c)(4020)(0)). B(Z(c)(4020)(0) -> X(3872)gamma) . B(X(3872) -> pi(+)pi(-) J/psi) for each energy point at 90% confidence level, which is of the order of several tenths pb
Psychotraumatology and Dissociation: A Theoretical and Clinical Approach
The term “psychotraumatology” can be considered as a fundamental term which consists of the whole of research and studies related to the post-traumatic stress disorder. This discipline, of which rise can be thought as simultaneous with the emergence of the increase in the number of studies on the post-traumatic stress disorder, can under no circumstances be examined and explained without referring to the dissociative disorders which refer to the whole of the short and long-term effects of early chronic childhood traumas by its very nature. The main goal of this study is, thus, to consider the relationship between the field of psychotraumatology which involves the factors causing psychological trauma, the traumatic process itself and the outcomes of it with the post-traumatic stress disorder and dissociation, both of which are trauma-based clinical phenomena, in a historical dimension and various perspectives. In accordance with this goal, academic approaches in the recent psychotraumatological literature will be discussed in the context of trauma and dissociation
Armed Conflict and Its Repercussions on Population Growth: The Turkish Case
The study empirically examines the impact of armed conflict on population growth in Eastern Turkey. The empirical findings confirm the implications of the theoretical model in the body of the paper. The results indicate that PKK recruitment leads to depopulation at the district level while increases rural population growth. Moreover, the results indicate that the number of killed PKK militants in the province to which a district belongs negatively affects population growth at the district level. On the other hand, the results also indicate that number of killed PKK militants does not significantly affect the population growth at the district level while decreases rural population growth. The results show that the percentage of valid votes to registered voters increases the population growth at the district level
