Measurement of e(+)e(-) -> pi(0)pi(0)psi(3686) at root s from 4.009 to 4.600 GeV and observation of a neutral charmoniumlike structure
Using ethorne-collision data collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.2 fb(-1) at center-of-mass energies (root s) from 4.009 to 4.600 GeV, the process e(+)e(-) -> pi(0)pi(0)psi(3686) is studied for the first time. The corresponding Born cross sections are measured and found to be half of those of the reaction e(+)e(-) -> pi(0)pi(0)psi(3686). This is consistent with the expectation from isospin symmetry. Furthermore, the Dalitz plots for pi(0)pi(0)psi(3686) are accordant with those of pi(0)pi(0)psi(3686) at all energy points, and a neutral analog to the structure in pi(+/-)psi(3686) around 4040 MeV/c(2) first observed at root s = 4.416 GeV is observed in the isospin neutral mode at the same energy
Calculation of Renal, Cortex and Medulla Volumes using Semi Automated Method
Tulum, Gökalp (Arel Author), Osman, Onur (Arel Author)It is assume that renal volume with cortex and medulla volumes are related with recovery of the kidney after transplantation. In this study it is aim that a semi automated method is developed for renal volumes. Theise volumes can be obtaine with some tools in the developed interface. We used 10 kidneys of 5 donors in this study. The first outputs of the method were compared to the tuned ones and it is found that the first outputs are very close to the corrected contours. Volume error rates were obtained as 0.62 +/- 0.01 for total renal volume, 1.26%+/- 0.01 for cortex volume and 1.23%+/- 0.01 for medulla volume

Search for the rare decays D -> h(h((')))e(+) e(-)
We search for rare decays of D mesons to hadrons accompanied by an electron-positron pair (h(h((')))e(+)e(- )),using an e(+)e(-) collision sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.93 fb(-1) collected with the BESIII detector at root s = 3.773 GeV. No significant signals are observed, and the corresponding upper limits on the branching fractions at the 90% confidence level are determined. The sensitivities of the results are at the level of 10(-5)-10(-6), providing a large improvement over previous searches
Search for h(c) -> pi(+)pi(-) J/psi via psi(3686) -> pi(0)pi(+)pi(-) J/psi
Using a data sample of 448.1 x 10(6) psi(3686) events collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII, we perform search for the hadronic transition h(c)-> pi(+)pi(-) J/psi via psi (3686) -> pi(0)hc. No signals of the transition are observed, and the upper limit on the product branching fraction B(sigma(3686) -> pi(0)h(c))B(h(c) -> pi(+)pi(-) J/psi) at the 90% confidence level (C. L.) is determined to be 2.0 x 10(-6). This is the most stringent upper limit to date
Study of eta(1475) and X(1835) in radiative J/psi decays to gamma phi
The decay J/psi -> gamma gamma phi is studied using a sample of 1.31 x 10(9) J/psi events collected with the BESIII detector. Two structures around 1475 MeV/c(2) and 1835 MeV/c(2) are observed in the gamma phi invariant mass spectrum for the first time. With a fit on the gamma phi invariant mass, which takes into account the interference between the two structures, and a simple analysis of the angular distribution, the structure around 1475 MeV/c(2) is found to favor an assignment as the eta(1475) and the mass and width for the structure around 1835 MeV/c(2) are consistent with the X(1835). The statistical significances of the two structures are 13.5 sigma and 6.3 sigma, respectively. The results indicate that both eta(1475) and X(1835) contain a sizeable s (s) over bar component
ÖRGÜTSEL LEKE ARTIK BİR TABU DEĞİL: VOLKSWAGEN ÖRNEĞİ
Her ne kadar leke kavramı eski Yunan kültüründe ahlaki olarak kötü durumda olan
bireyleri toplumda ayırt etmek amacıyla kullanılmış olsa da dünyada yaşanan şirket
skandalları ve başarısızlıkları sebebiyle günümüzde artık şirketleri tanımlamak için de
kullanılmaktadır. Şirketi bir bütün olarak tanımlayan ve sosyal bir sürecin sonucunda
ortaya çıkan örgütsel leke artık bir tabu olmaktan çıkmış ve tartışılmaya başlanmıştır. Bu
çalışmanın amacı da, örgütsel leke kavramının teorik olarak altını çizmek, itibar
kavramından farkını ortaya koymak ve son yıllarda yaşadığı skandalla birlikte tüm dünya
tarafından tartışılan Volkswagen şirketini inceleyerek örgütsel leke kavramını tartışmaktır.
Çalışmada, içerik analizi kullanılarak Volkswagen şirketinin yaşadığı kriz vaka çalışması
olarak ele alınmış ve örgütsel leke açısından tartışılarak gerek sosyal gerekse finansal
anlamda nasıl etkilendiği incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucunda şirket sahipleri ve
yöneticileri için etik ve leke açısından değerlendirme yapılmakta ve şirketin örgütsel leke
ile hangi stratejileri kullanarak baş edebileceği üzerine öneriler sunulmaktadır
PERCEIVED ENVIRONMENTAL UNCERTAINTY AND INNOVATION ADOPTION: EXPLORING THE TURKISH CONTEXT
Because innovation and environmental uncertainty are highly crucial concepts for organizations’
survival, and managers are key decision makers in organizational operations, investigating the relationship
between innovation and environmental uncertainty from managers’ lenses is important. This study aims to explore
how managers’ adoption of radical and incremental innovation is affected by perceived environmental uncertainty
(PEU). Data collected from 230 managers that work for companies that operate in various industries has been
analyzed by using Multinomial logistic regression analysis. Results of the study indicate that government and
policies factor is the effective factor on managers’ decisions on innovation adoption, and in uncertain
environments in terms of governmental and policy factor, managers choose to adopt both types of innovation since
they want avoid to take risks of adopting solely one type of innovation
