La posibilidad de un cuidado de sí en Descartes
Full text linkThis brief paper seeks to assess the possibility of an ethic in Descartes\u27 philosophy, beyond the reduced epistemological vision of the scientific researcher. René Descartes is approached outside the concise and cold rationalism; the author of this contribution seeks a view of the world and being-in-the-world closer to the problem of existence in his theoretical work and philosophy, both rich in interpretations. Its main postulates are thus challenged by ethics, extracting from them the implicit idea of self-care.Este brevísimo trabajo persigue valorar la posibilidad de una ética en la filosofía de Descartes, más allá de la restricta visión epistemológica del investigador científico. Se enfoca a René Descartes fuera del escueto y frío racionalismo; se busca en su quehacer filosófico y filosofía, ambos ricos en interpretaciones una visión del mundo y el estar-en-el-mundo más cercana a la problemática de la existencia. Full text linkThe following paper is a commentary on the influence of Covid-19 in the contemporary world. This relationship will be briefly analyzed from philosophy, specifically critical phenomenology. The main characteristics of the current debate on the Covid-19 are revealed. Then, it is defined what death and social death are to critical phenomenology. This essayistic comment is concluded by stressing the need and importance of an ethical turn in contemporary thought and life.El presente es un comentario reflexivo sobre la influencia del Covid-19 en el mundo contemporáneo. Esta relación se analizará brevemente desde el punto de vista de la filosofía, específicamente de la fenomenología crítica. Se develan las principales características del debate actual sobre el Covid-19. Luego se define lo que es muerte y muerte social desde la fenomenología crítica. Full text linkAn overview is presented of the integration of psychoanalysis and Marxism within period of the first generation of the Frankfurt School. Mainly focused in the thought of Erich Fromm and Herbert Marcuse, underlining their different attitudes towards psychoanalysis. As a conclusion of both ideas, a critical resume is presented of two of the main works of these authors. Una panorámica de la integración entre psicoanálisis y marxismo en los marcos de la primera generación de la Escuela de Frankfort. Sobre todo, desde el pensamiento de Erich Fromm y Herbert Marcuse, subrayando la diferente actitud ante el psicoanálisis por parte de ambos. Como culminación de ambos pensamientos, se presenta un resumen crítico de dos obras fundamentales de los autores, y que cristalizan la originalidad de su pensamiento
Reconsiderando el Espectáculo del Capitalismo en la Política
Full text linkThis article aims to examine the concept of the spectacle by depending on the works of Guy Debord and some secondary sources, and then to evaluate the examination according to post-truth politics that have arisen after Debord. For that purpose, the article is separated into four parts. The concept of the spectacle is analyzed in detail in the first part. After that, in the second part, the societies functioning through the spectacle are elucidated and the mechanism of the spectacle is revealed by some examples. Then, the relation between the spectacle and the formation of historical memory is shown, along with the roles of digital myths in industrial culture, in the third part. As for the fourth part, the spectacle is discussed by regarding the concept of post-truth and post-truth politics, and the article is completed after coming to a point on the issue.Este artículo tiene como objetivo examinar el concepto del espectáculo dependiendo de los trabajos de Guy Debord y algunas fuentes secundarias, luego se examina la política de la posverdad que surgió después de Debord. Para ello, el artículo se divide en cuatro partes. El concepto del espectáculo se analiza detalladamente en la primera parte. Después de eso, en la segunda parte, se dilucidan las sociedades que funcionan a través del espectáculo y algunos ejemplos revelan el mecanismo del espectáculo. Luego, se muestra la relación entre el espectáculo y la formación de la memoria histórica, junto con los roles de los mitos digitales en la cultura industrial, en la tercera parte. En cuanto a la cuarta parte, el espectáculo se discute en relación al concepto de política de la posverdad, y el artículo se completa después de llegar a un punto sobre el tema

It is not intended to answer what is meant by the concept of philosophy, but rather to understand the functions of philosophy in thought and practical life. It is an introduction to the problem (or problems) of philosophy as a science, or as the most influential "cultural form" in the last twenty-five centuries. The “filosofemas” invite the unity of the philosophical discussion, through discourse and epistemological arguments. As an introductory study it does not try to cover the whole, rather it encourages the approach to these knowledges. It deals with the relationship of philosophy with Being, and the relationship of philosophy with other sciences and disciplines.El ensayo es un acercamiento a lo qué es la filosofía. Apela al origen del pensamiento y la función del lenguaje en el saber. No pretende responder a qué se entiende por el concepto de filosofía, sino comprender las funciones de la filosofía en el pensamiento y la vida práctica. Es una introducción al problema (o los problemas) de la filosofía como ciencia, o como la "forma cultural" más influyente en los últimos veinticinco siglos. Herencia y revolución en Marx: Un ensayo de lectura
Full text linkIn this essay we propose to read the relationship between inheritances of the past and revolution in Karl Marx. To undertake this task, we are going to make a critical-philosophical reading of The 18 Brumaire of Louis Napoleon Bonaparte, a historical, political, philosophical and even literary work, which through complex and meticulous descriptions highlights the drama of French history (“center of politics ”according to Marx) of the mid-nineteenth century, but also, as we will try to show, the drama of all history, together with the relationship of the revolutionary present and its inheritances, its specters of the past and the future. Based on this reading hypothesis, we propose to put this text into dialogue with other writings of Marx where the problem of the relationship between historical inheritance and social revolution is approached in a different way. In this framework, we will return to the reflections of some contemporary European and Argentine philosophers who address, either explicitly or tangentially, this problem in Marx.En el presente ensayo nos proponemos realizar una lectura de la relación entre herencias del pasado y revolución en Karl Marx. Para emprender dicha tarea interesa realizar una lectura crítico-filosófica de El 18 Brumario de Luis Bonaparte, una obra histórica, política, filosófica y hasta literaria, que a través de complejas y minuciosas descripciones pone en evidencia el drama de la historia de Francia (“centro de la política” según Marx) de mediados de siglo XIX, pero también, como intentaremos mostrar, el drama de toda historia, junto con la relación del presente revolucionario y sus herencias, sus espectros del pasado y del porvenir. A partir de esta hipótesis de lectura, nos proponemos poner a dialogar este texto con otros escritos de Marx donde el problema de la relación entre herencia histórica y revolución social se aborda de una manera diferente. En este marco, interesa volver sobre las reflexiones de algunos filósofos europeos y argentinos contemporáneos que abordan, ya sea de forma explícita, ya sea tangencialmente, este problema en Marx

Aportes del Experimento Mescheryakov para pensar la pedagogía contemporánea

In the first one, it is briefly presented the notions of students’ capacity/inability to discuss the philosophical foundations that hide under these notions, specifically, innatism and the "physiological" posture. In the second, we refer to a practical experience known as “the Mescheryakov experiment” with the intention of rescuing some general and specifically determined theoretical conclusions that help to understand about the underlying causes of the problem raised. In the final section, we refer to an essay by the philosopher Evald Ilienkov, who talks directly with the practical experience that we bring up. Within this framework, we outline some ideas about the role of the pedagogue in educational practices.El presente trabajo consiste en tres partes. En la primera, presentamos brevemente de qué forma en las nociones de capacidad/incapacidad de los alumnos/as, empleadas tradicionalmente por la pedagogía, subyacen fundamentos filosóficos como el Innatismo y el “fisiologismo”. En la segunda, hacemos referencia a una experiencia práctica conocida como “el experimento Mescheryakov” con la intención de rescatar algunas conclusiones teóricas generales y particularmente aquellas que colaboren a entender los cimientos de la problemática planteada. En el tramo final, nos remitimos a un ensayo del filósofo Evald Ilienkov, que dialoga directamente con la experiencia práctica que traemos a colación. Dentro de este encuadre, esbozamos una idea acerca del rol del pedagogo en las prácticas educativas
