Full text linkThe following essay is one of the tangible results of a preliminary study entitled "Approach to Contemporary Thought". This, also, resulted in the development of a textbook that brought together the main thinkers of the History of Contemporary Philosophy, as well as a brief selection of texts. The essay offered below exposes the fundamental elements that characterize this period, its relations with critical theory, and the scope that all this has in our days.El siguiente ensayo es uno de los resultados tangibles de un estudio preliminar intitulado “Aproximación al Pensamiento Contemporáneo”. Este, a su vez, tuvo como resultado la elaboración de un libro de texto que reunió a los principales pensadores de la Historia de la Filosofía Contemporánea, así como una breve selección de textos. The debate discusses important issues for the social sciences and humanities in general in the contemporary world. In this review, the debate is first contextualized, then the author delves into the main concepts adopted by Peterson in relation to Žižek. It culminates with an analysis of what postmodernism means.La presente colaboración es una reseña sobre el debate llevado a cabo entre los intelectuales de izquierda y derecha, respectivamente, Slavoj Žižek y Jordan Peterson. En el debate se analizan cuestiones importantes para las ciencias sociales y las humanidades en general en el mundo contemporáneo. En la presente reseña primero se contextualiza el debate, luego el autor se adentra en los principales conceptos adoptados por Peterson en relación con Žižek. Se culmina con un análisis de lo que significa el posmodernismo

Full text linkIn the present work it gathers some considerations that have developed around affectivity and its components: emotions, feelings and passions. Its objective is to highlight theoretical, explicit and implicit relationships that have taken place within these considerations or based on them. This study, which is deployed from a philosophical perspective and with a universalist approach, brings together theoretical elaborations of essential authors of these themes, whose criteria, in various measures and by different characteristics, are valuable. Among them are Vives, Descartes, Hume and Adam Smith.En el presente trabajo se recogen algunas consideraciones que se han desarrollado en torno a la afectividad y sus componentes: las emociones, los sentimientos y las pasiones. El objetivo de este es destacar relaciones teóricas, explícitas e implícitas, que han tenido lugar en el seno de dichas consideraciones o a propósito de estas. Este estudio, que se despliega desde una perspectiva filosófica y con un enfoque universalista, reúne elaboraciones teóricas de autores imprescindibles de estas temáticas, cuyos criterios, en diversas medidas y por diferentes características, son valiosos.
