    Sugar Content and Consumption of Franchise Beverages as Risk Overweight Factors

    Nowadays, the franchise business is growing very rapidly, one of which is sweet beverages. The characteristics of the berverages have a high sugar content that exceeds the recommended limit for daily consumption, which is 6-12 g. Excess sugar consumption can lead to being overweight. This study aimed to know the sugar content and total calories contained in franchise beverages. This research was an observational study with descriptive analysis design. The sugar content was tested using the Nelson-Somogyi method and total calories were tested using a bomb calorimeter. The number of beverage samples were 8 samples of drinks and toppings based on the best-selling drinks. The average total sugar contained in selected franchise beverages were 39,81 g/serving size and total calories were 389,75 kcal/serving size. The conclusion that total sugar contained in the selected drink topping was 2,47 g/serving size and total calories was 60,72 kcal/serving size. The average sugar content and total calories were exceeded the recommended daily sugar intake, so it was necessary to limit daily consumption of these drinks

    Evaluation of Pharmaceutical Services and Drug Use (PKPO) in Hospital Pharmacy Installation

    Good and professional service is a hope for all levels of society, especially health services in hospitals, especially pharmaceutical services and drug use. The research was conducted at the Pharmacy Installation of the Mutiara Bunda General Hospital of Brebes. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of conformity of the seven PKPO standards to SNARS Edition 1 and their improvement strategies based on the priority of the percentage of achievement of accreditation and hospital needs. This research was a non-experimental research design, data collection using PKPO survey instruments with interview and observation methods. The research subjects were pharmacists and other pharmacy installation staff. The data result were processed in tabular form, the level of conformity of each PKPO standard was compared to SNARS Edition 1 of 2018 with a minimum standard of 80%. The results of the PKPO level of conformity at the Pharmacy Installation of RSU Islami Mutiara Bunda was not fully in accordance with SNARS. The percentages were obtained PKPO 1 of 100%, PKPO 2 of 8,00%, PKPO 3 of 69,04%, PKPO 4 of 84,61%, PKPO 5 of 80,0%, PKPO 6 of 100% and PKPO 7 of 87,50 %. Based on the percentage of achievement and the level of need for IFRS, the priority order of improvement strategies that need to be immediately carried out by hospitals are PKPO 3 standards, namely storage, PKPO 2 standards regarding selection and procurement, then PKPO 7, PKPO 4 and PKPO 5

    Early Initiation of Breastfeeding (IMD) is one of the efforts in the delivery room that has proven to have many benefits, but its implementation is still in accordance with the existing Standard Procedures so that the expected results are not appropriate and the provision of IMD is still low. The population of this study were all babies born with normal baby weight. The sample in the study amounted to 510 infants consisting of 255 infants with the IMD group for 1 hour according to the SOP and 255 groups that did not do IMD. This research is an observational study with a prospective cohort approach. sampling technique used purposive sampling. Data using a questionnaire instrument and data analysis using Chi-Square test, Fisher Exact test and General Linear Model + Post Hoc. The study found the baby's heart rate at 15 minutes (p-value =0,028) and 30 (p-value=0,002) (p-value<0,05) and 45 minutes (p-value=0,062) and 60 minutes (p-value=0,688) (p-value>0,05) using the Chi-Square test, Fisher Exact test. While the oxygen saturation of newborns at 15, 30, 45 and 60 minutes was 0,000 (p-value<0,05) using the General Linear Model+Post Hoc test. There was a difference in the baby's heart rate between the groups who did IMD and those who didn't do IMD at the 15th and 30th minutes

    The Effect of Variations in the Addition of Vitamin C Doses in Urine on Glucose Levels with the Benedict Method

    Urine glucose or glucosuria detected by Benedict's method is a pathological condition found to be falsely positive in healthy individuals while consumption of vitamin C during the pandemic can also interfere with urinalysis results. This study aimed to determine the effect of variations in the dose of vitamin C added to urine samples on glucose levels. Pre-experimental research was conducted on 15 healthy student urine samples using a purposive sampling technique. Urine glucose levels were checked using Benedict's method for further intervention with 250 mg, 500 mg, and 1000 mg of vitamin C added to the urine of 25 ml each. Data were analyzed by the Kruskal Wallis test and the Mann Whitney follow-up test it was significant if p < 0,05. The results of the urine glucose examination were found to be positive in Benedict's method with the addition of a dose of vitamin C. Kruskal Wallis analysis showed that the variation in the dose of vitamin C had an effect on Benedict's method with a p-value of 0,000 and the Mann Whitney test showed that the three doses of vitamin C were different in each Urine glucose results on Benedict's method

    Differences in Labor Outcomes for Mothers with Regular and Irregular Antenatal Care (ANC)

    The occurrence of labor complications can be prevented by carrying out treatments such as carrying out antenatal care (ANC) during pregnancy. The study was conducted to determine the differences in birth outcomes between Regular and Irregular antenatal care (ANC). This was an analytical observational study using a prospective cohort approach involving 44 pregnant women, who were recruited between January and April 2022 at the Barana Health Center, Jeneponto Regency. The research instrument used was the observation sheet. Data analysis used analytical test (Mann-Whitney and unpaired T test). There was a significant difference between regular and irregular ANC with length of stage I (multipara and grande multipara) p-value=0,040, baby's birth weight (p-value=0,047), baby's body length (p-value=0,009), and baby's chest circumference (p-value=0,009) (p-value<0,05). Whereas in regular and irregular ANC with the length of the first stage (primipara) (p-value=0,958) and the newborn head circumference (value=0,141) illustrates that there was no significant difference (p-value>0,05). Pregnant women with regular ANC tend to have birth outcomes with a longer first stage (multipara and grande multipara), weight, body length, and chest circumference of normal newborns compared to pregnant women with irregular ANC

    Musculoskeletal Pain With Body Mass Index, Duration of Activity and Lecture During Distance Learning

    Musculoskeletal disorders can be affected by a person’s body mass index, age, gender, duration of doing physical activities, duration of working or studying, ergonomics and body posture. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between musculoskeletal pain and its risk factors in the Faculty of Medicine of Tarumanagara University students during the long-distance study. This research is analytic with a cross-sectional study design. The research subjects were 303 subjects with an age range of 19–23 years using non-probability sampling. Musculoskeletal disorder levels were measured using the Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire. The data obtained were analyzed using chi-square. The results obtained on musculoskeletal disorders with BMI had P= 0,473 (PRR= 1,213), musculoskeletal disorders with a duration of physical activity had 0,278 (PRR= 1,337) and musculoskeletal disorders with a duration of lectures had P=0,454 (PRR= 1,371). The results showed that there was no significant change between musculoskeletal disorders and BMI, duration of physical activity and duration of lectures in the Faculty of Medicine of Tarumanagara University students

    Service Quality and Completion Time with Patient Trust

    The hospital is a health service provider facility where the health quality determines satisfaction of patient which has an impact on patient trust in health facilities. This study aimed to determine the effect of service quality and turnaround time on patient trust. This research is a quantitative study with a cross sectional approach. The research location was at Mardi Waluyo Hospital, Blitar City, with an outpatients as the study sample. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire which was then analyzed using SPSS. The results of linear regression test indicated there was a positive and significant impact on service quality (0,00<0,05) of turnaround time. Quality of service and turnaround time have a positive and significant effect (0,03 < 0,05). However, the completion time with the patient's trust does not have a positive and significant effect (0,19>0,05). Quality of service has a positive and significant effect on patient trust (0,00<0,05). The conclusion of this study showed that quality of servicesperformed at Mardi Waluyo Hospital, Blitar City was influenced trust of patient

    Factors Related to Incidence of Tuberculosis

    Abstract Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis that has infected nearly one-third of the world's population. The study aimed to analyze the relation of knowledge, nutritional status, and smoking habits to the incidence of tuberculosis. The research used quantitative methods and cross-sectional design. The population was a patient who visits in and is registered in the patient register at Puskesmas Garuda. Samples were taken from as many as 95 subjects. Sampling used simple random sampling techniques. The statistical test used was the chi-square test. Variables that had been shown to be associated with the incidence of tuberculosis are knowledge (p-value =0,018), nutritional status (p-value=0,012), and smoking habits (p-value=0,000), the prevalence of tuberculosis is 41,1%. Risk factors of tuberculosis are knowledge, nutritional status, and smoking freedom. People who are knowledgeable about tuberculosis. It is recommended that health workers are advised to increase preventive and promotive efforts through counseling about the risk factors of tuberculosis events to the public to increase public knowledge in order to reduce the risk of being infected with tuberculosis.Tuberkulosis merupakan penyakit infeksi yang disebabkan oleh Mycobacterium tuberculosis yang telah menginfeksi hampir sepertiga penduduk dunia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan pengetahuan, status gizi dan kebiasaan merokok terhadap kejadian tuberkulosis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan desain cross sectional. Populasi adalah pasien yang berkunjung di dan terdaftar di register pasien di Puskesmas Garuda. Sampel diambil sebanyak 95 subjek. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple sandom sampling. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah uji chi square. Variabel yang terbukti berhubungan dengan kejadian tuberkulosis adalah pengetahuan (p-value=0,018), status gizi (p-value=0,012), dan kebiasaan merokok (p-value=0,000), prevalensi tuberkulosis sebesar 41,1%. Faktor risiko terjadinya tuberculosis adalah pengetahuan, status gizi dan kebasaan merokok. Orang yang berpengetahuan rendah tentang uberkulosis. Disarankan pada tenaga kesehatan disarankan untuk meningkatkan upaya preventif dan promotif melalui penyuluhan tentang faktor risiko kejadian tuberkulosis kepada masyarakat tuntuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat  agar  bisa  mengurangi risiko terinfeksi tuberkulosis

    Pemberian Lakuto terhadap Glukosa Darah Penderita Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2

    Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic disease characterized by hyperglycemia and glucose intolerance in the blood because the pancreas is unable to produce insulin. The risk factors that led to diabetes mellitus are reversible and irreversible. The study was aimed at recognizing the effect that pumpkin and tomato pudding (lakuto) have on decreasing blood glucose levels in type 2 diabetesmellitus in Puskesmas Padang Selasa Palembang. It is a quantitative research using quasi-experiment design with pretest and posttest with two groups design. The subjects were mostly 61-70 years old and female. Average levels of blood glucose before treatment are 329,33 mg/dl in the treatment group and 314,07 mg/dl in the control groups. Whereas the average blood glucose level after treatment was 301,43 mg/dl in the treatment group and 304,00 mg/dl in the control groups. The result showed the effects of pumpkin and tomato pudding (lakuto) on blood glucose levels in diabetes mellitus type 2 in Puskesmas Padang Selasa Palembang (p-value=0,000). This suggests that pumpkin and tomato pudding (lakuto) may lower blood glucose levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.Diabetes Melitus adalah penyakit kronis yang ditandai dengan hiperglikemia dan intoleransi glukosa darah yang terjadi karenapankreas tidak dapat memproduksi insulin. Ada 2 faktor risiko penyebab terjadinya diabetes melitus yaitu faktor yang tidak dapatdiubah dan yang dapat diubah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian puding labu kuning dan tomat (lakuto) terhadap penurunan kadar glukosa darah pada penderita diabetes melitus tipe 2 di Puskesmas Padang Selasa Palembang. Jenis penelitian bersifat kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian pretestand posttest with two group. Subjek sebagian besar berusia 61-70 tahun dan berjenis kelamin perempuan. Rata-rata kadar glukosadarah sebelum intervensi pada kelompok perlakuan adalah 329,33 mg/dl dan pada kelompok pembanding 314,07 mg/dl.  Rata-rata kadar glukosa darah setelah intervensi adalah pada kelompok perlakuan 301,43 mg/dl dan kelompok pembanding 304,00 mg/dl. Hasil uji statistik (uji t-independen) menunjukkan ada pengaruh pemberian Puding Labu Kuning dan Tomat (Lakuto) terhadap kadar glukosa darah pada penderita Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 di Puskesmas Padang Selasa Palembang (p-value=0,000). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Puding Labu Kuning dan Tomat (Lakuto) dapat menurunkan kadar glukosa darah pada penderitaDiabetes Mellitus Tipe 2

    The Alteration of Herbal Medicine Consumption During the Covid-19 Pandemic Among Women

    The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on society, including the health care sector. Moreover, health services only accept health alternatives through traditional medicine. The research aimed to explore the alteration of herbal consumption during the Covid-19 pandemic, especially in women who had a role in providing food security in the Temanggung area's families. The study used a qualitative method with a narrative approach; data collection was carried out by means of direct in-depth interviews to explore information about the experiences of participants regarding the shift in the meaning of herbal medicine consumption during the Covid-19 pandemic among women in Dusun Dongkelan. The results of this study indicated that the habit of consuming herbal medicine was passed down from generation to generation and the belief in the benefits of herbal medicine was very attached to the participants. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the consumption of herbal medicine was still carried out because they believed that herbal medicine could maintain a healthy body and increase immunity. Even though the price of herbal medicine rose during the Covid-19 pandemic, they still consumed herbal medicine because they believed that the herbs they had consumed from the past until then could help maintain their body's health during this Covid-19 pandemic
