    No full text
This research aims to understand how financial performance influences the share price movement of PT Blue Bird Tbk (BIRD) during the period of share ownership disputes in 2021–2023. This internal dispute phenomenon is an interesting issue because it occurs in large companies that have long been known to the public and have a stable reputation in the transportation sector. In this research, a quantitative descriptive approach was used without the help of statistical software such as SPSS, but instead used manual analysis of the company's main financial ratios. The data used is secondary data from company annual reports and share prices obtained through public sources from the Indonesia Stock Exchange, but is processed realistically to reflect actual conditions without plagiarizing official data. The research results show that even though BIRD faces pressure due to share ownership disputes, the company is still able to maintain the stability of its financial performance. The improvement in profitability ratios in 2022 and 2023 is directly proportional to the increase in share prices. This research provides an understanding that market trust in a company is not only determined by external situations, but also by management's ability to maintain efficiency, profitability and financial transparency during a crisis

Exploration of Self-Confidence in Students' Self-Concept and Its Impact on Work Competence in the Digital Era

    No full text
This qualitative study aims to analyze the in-depth interrelationship between selfefficacy and student self-concept , as well as its implications for the readiness and mastery of work competencies in the digital ecosystem. Using data triangulation (indepth interviews, observations, and document analysis) on pamulang university students, this study focuses on the transition to a professional career. The findings show that self-efficacy is formed from the interaction of internal factors (learning strategies and organizational activity) and authentic external support (lecturers, colleagues, family). Fluctuations in self-efficacy are critically influenced by personal achievement versus social comparison, and are assumed to be fundamental to fostering digital independence. Furthermore, self-concept is internalized through experiential reflection and authoritative feedback. Self-authenticity is achieved when subjects break free from the pressures of social comparison, with professional image strategies centered on ethical consistency and proactive initiative. The synergy between contextual self-efficacy and mature self-concept is directly correlated with the mastery of digital work competencies, such as virtual collaboration and self-upskilling.Theoretically, this study confirms the crucial role of authentic social validation as a counterweight to the destructive impact of digital social comparison pressure. Practical recommendations urge the intervention of structured self-reflection development (through professional guidance) as a priority over technical training, in order to produce innovative and risk-taking graduates in the digital work landscape

Harmful pollutants found in waste include the heavy metal Cu (Copper). Methods that can be used to reduce the heavy metal content of copper include the adsorption process. This adsorption methods was chosen because this process does not produce toxins and the raw materials for adsorbent are more economical such as corn cobs. Corn cobs have a carbon content of 43,42% and have a sufficiently high porous structure. This research aims to determine a compatible mathematic model on the process of adsorption of Cu waste with corn cobs bioadsorbent. The process of making bioadsorbents uses star fruit organic matter as an activator to increase absorption of copper heavy metals. The copper heavy metal adsorption process is carried out by adding the bioadsorbent to artificial liquid waste with adsorbent mass variations of 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5 grams and varying harvesting times from 40 to 120 minutes. The results of the analysis using the Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS) method revealed that the percentage of copper metal absorption by the best bioadsorbent is 89.55%. This percentage was observed with an adsorbent mass addition of 12.5 grams and a contact time of 120 minutes. Based on the calculations of the mathematical model of heavy metal Cu adsorption by activated carbon from corn cobs using the Langmuir Isotherm model, the resulting equation is y = 0.5497x + 9.968 with a value of  R²= 0.994.        &nbsp

Performance Analysis of a Two-Stage Savonius Rotor Using Numerical Methods

    No full text
The POCREN system is a hybrid renewable energy device that integrates wind, solar, and water current energy sources to generate electrical power. The main objective of developing POCREN is to provide a sustainable electricity supply, particularly for floating fish farmers in coastal regions where the average wind speed ranges from 3 to 5 m/s. Currently, most floating cage farmers rely heavily on diesel engines to meet their electricity needs, which are costly and environmentally unsustainable. This study focuses on one of the key components of the POCREN system, namely a two-stage Savonius wind turbine, to evaluate its performance in power generation. The analysis was conducted numerically using ANSYS Fluent software. The results show that the maximum power coefficient (Cp) of the two-stage turbine was achieved at a wind speed of 5 m/s with a tip speed ratio (TSR) of 0.7, yielding a Cp value of 0.26. At a lower wind speed of 3 m/s, the maximum Cp reached 0.22 at the same TSR of 0.7. Pressure contour analysis indicates that the two-stage Savonius turbine can operate effectively at low wind speeds of approximately 3 m/s. The pressure distribution shows higher pressure on the concave side of the advancing blade compared to the convex side, generating torque that drives rotor rotation. This confirms that the two-stage configuration enhances torque continuity and enables stable operation under low wind conditions. Based on these findings, the two-stage Savonius turbine in the POCREN system is suitable for renewable energy applications in coastal environments, offering a promising alternative to reduce dependence on diesel-powered generators for floating fish farming activities

    No full text
The research on the performance of carbon (C)/d-orbital metals (graphite/graphene, graphene/N-graphene, graphite/Fe-graphene, graphite/Fe-N-graphene, and graphene/Fe-N-graphene) in primary battery electrode systems was carried out using a simple technology by mixing coconut shell powder with N and Fe. The purpose of this study was to determine the preparation method of Fe/GNS and Fe/N-GNS electrodes and to evaluate the performance of the electrolyte on electron distribution in Fe/GNS and Fe/N-GNS electrodes as primary battery anodes based on electrical conductivity values. This research was conducted as a laboratory experimental study. GNS and N-GNS were synthesized using a modified Hummers method, while Fe/GNS and Fe/N-GNS electrodes were synthesized using the impregnation method. GNS, N-GNS, Fe/GNS, and Fe/N-GNS after electrolyte combination were characterized using SEM–EDX and a multimeter, respectively. The SEM–EDX results at 170 °C and 500–600 °C showed a folded and wrinkled graphene structure with dispersed Fe (5.3 wt% by EDX), dominated by C and O. The addition of Fe–NH₃ acted as a catalyst to form more regularly structured graphite. The DHL test showed the highest electrical conductivity (~51,400 at 40 V) for Fe-N-GNS samples synthesized at 170 °C and 600 °C, which were identified as the most optimal synthesis conditions
