    Strategi Peningkatan Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru di Perguruan Tinggi Swasta (Studi Kasus: Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik)

    The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, particularly on job losses among prospective students\u27 parents, was the primary factor behind the decline in admissions in 2020. Additionally, the introduction of new study programs in 2019 and competition among universities in nearby areas also contributed to this fluctuation. The purpose of this analysis is to identify the causes of enrollment fluctuations and develop strategies to increase new student admissions at Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik. This will lead to effective strategies to address these challenges and create programs that attract new students to register at Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik. This research employs a qualitative method, with information obtained through interviews with relevant subjects, including the Head of Admissions & Public Relations from 2019-2023, Heads of Department, Admissions Officers, several students from 2023, and some prospective students for 2024. Analysis shows that online promotional strategies are highly effective, but personal connections and accreditation strengthening are also crucial. Altogether, these strategies successfully align the university with the dynamics of the higher education market. Recommendations are made to continue developing adaptive strategies to enhance the university’s appeal in the increasingly competitive higher education landscape.Dampak pandemi Covid-19, terutama pada hilangnya pekerjaan orang tua calon mahasiswa, menjadi faktor utama penurunan penerimaan pada tahun 2020. Selain itu, pembagian program studi baru pada tahun 2019 dan persaingan antar-perguruan tinggi di daerah sekitar juga berkontribusi pada fluktuasi tersebut. Tujuan melakukan analisis untuk mengetahui penyebab kenaikan dan penurunan (fluktuasi) dan strategi peningkatan jumlah penerimaan mahasiswa baru di Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik. Sehingga dapat ditemukan strategi yang tepat untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, dan menjadi ajang program yang menarik mahasiswa baru untuk mendaftar di Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan informasi diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan sumber objek penelitian, antara lain Kepala Biro Admisi & Humas tahun 2019-2023, Kepala Bagian, Kepala Urusan PMB, beberapa mahasiswa tahun 2023, dan beberapa calon mahasiswa baru 2024. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa strategi promosi online sangat dominan, tetapi hubungan personal dan pemantapan akreditasi juga penting. Keseluruhan strategi tersebut berhasil menyesuaikan universitas dengan dinamika pasar pendidikan tinggi. Rekomendasi diberikan untuk terus mengembangkan strategi adaptif guna meningkatkan daya tarik universitas di era persaingan pendidikan tinggi yang ketat

    The Role of Dividend Policy as a Mediator of the Relationship between Corporate Governance and Profitability on Firm Value

    This analysis examines the role of dividend policy as a mediator in the relationship between corporate governance and profitability on firm value. The population studied consisted of 47 public banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2019-2023, with 87 research samples obtained through the purposive sampling method. The analysis confirmed that profitability significantly positively affects dividend policy and corporate governance positively influences firm value. However, corporate governance and dividend policy do not affect firm value, and dividend policy does not mediate the relationship between corporate governance and firm value, as well as between profitability and firm value. These findings confirm the importance of profitability and corporate governance in enhancing firm value through effective dividend policy

    Evaluasi Kinerja dan Pemilihan Supplier Menggunakan Metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP): Studi Kasus di PT. Indo-Rama Synthetics Tbk

    This research aims to provide a framework for PT. Indo-Rama Synthetics Tbk in making a decisive and confident supplier selection, based on the evaluation of supplier performance. Furthermore, the study seeks to identify the key criteria that form the foundation for supplier selection within the company. The research employs the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, with data analysis supported by Expert Choice software. The analysis reveals that the most prioritized criteria are flexibility and responsiveness (0.208), followed by compliance with POs/contracts (0.206), price (0.182), product quality (0.164), environmental friendliness and sustainability (0.162), and experience and expertise (0.077). According to the AHP results, the top supplier for the primary supply of plastic bags and rolls is Supplier PB2, which has the highest weight of 0.388. Supplier PB3 ranks second as an alternative, with a weight of 0.327, while Supplier PB1 is the third alternative, with a weight of 0.285. This research provides a clear framework for the company in selecting suppliers based on measurable performance and sustainability, which can contribute to stronger long-term relationships and improved supply quality.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan kerangka kerja bagi PT. Indo-Rama Synthetics Tbk dalam melakukan pemilihan supplier secara tegas dan pasti, yang berbasis pada evaluasi kinerja supplier. Selain itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kriteria-kriteria penting yang menjadi dasar dalam memilih supplier di perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), dengan pengolahan data dibantu software Expert Choice. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kriteria utama yang paling dipentingkan adalah fleksibilitas dan respon (0,208), diikuti oleh kepatuhan terhadap PO/kontrak (0,206), harga (0,182), kualitas produk (0,164), ramah lingkungan dan sustainability (0,162), serta pengalaman dan keahlian (0,077). Berdasarkan hasil AHP, supplier terbaik yang menjadi pemasok utama plastik bag dan rol adalah Supplier PB2 karena mendapatkan bobot terbesar yaitu 0,388. Supplier PB3 menjadi alternatif pilihan kedua, karena mendapatkan urutan bobot kedua sebesar 0,327. Sementara Supplier PB1 menjadi alternatif pilihan ketiga karena mendapatkan urutan bobot ketiga sebesar 0,285.     Abstract This study aims to analyze the factors influencing service innovation, internationalization, and profitability of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. Specifically, it examines the role of entrepreneurial orientation dimensions—innovativeness, proactiveness, and risk-taking—as well as human capital in fostering internationalization and service innovation. The research employs a quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the SmartPLS software, analyzing data collected from 140 MSMEs engaged in international activities. The findings reveal that risk-taking and skill & know-how have a significant positive influence on internationalization, while innovativeness and proactiveness show significant negative effects. Surprisingly, service innovation has a negative impact on profitability, indicating that the costs associated with implementing service innovation may outweigh short-term benefits. Furthermore, creativity, proactiveness, and human capital do not significantly influence service innovation, suggesting that additional resources, technology, and strategic planning are needed to strengthen service innovation efforts.These results emphasize the importance of risk management, strategic planning, and skill development in supporting MSME internationalization and innovation. Policymakers and stakeholders must provide financial incentives, technological support, and capacity-building programs to enhance MSME competitiveness in global markets

    Analysis Influence Working Capital Investment On Company Value and Investment Decisions Long Term : An Empirical Study of the Sector Manufacturing 2014 – 2023 in Indonesia

    This research aims to investigate the impact of working capital investment on firm value and long-term investment decisions in the manufacturing sector in Indonesia. The study utilizes annual panel data from 100 to 150 manufacturing firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2014-2023. Findings indicate that efficient working capital investment has a positive influence on firm value and long-term investment decisions. This study utilizes the Trade-Off, Agency, and Resource-Based View theories as a framework. The results provide valuable implications for finance managers in the manufacturing sector to optimize working capital management to enhance firm profitability and long-term growth

    The green economy system is a positive economic activity that can improve people\u27s welfare by reducing the risk of environmental pollution. Sugarcane is one of the big income in one of the Lamongan areas and in the area there is the largest sugar production factory in Asia, this has the potential for a lot of waste generated from the factory activities.  This research aims to find out how sugar cane waste management is in accordance with the Green economy and what impact the establishment of a sugar production factory has on the green economy system and community activities. This research uses a qualitative method that focuses on interviews with parties concerned with the factory and a descriptive approach. The results showed that the factory had successfully treated waste by implementing a green economy system so that the waste flowing into the community did not interfere with community activities and pollute the environment. This research underscores the importance of implementing a green economy system in waste management.&nbsp

    Pengaruh Physical Work Environment, Non-physical Work Environment, Person Job Fit, dan Person Organizational Fit terhadap Employee Performance: Inggris

    This study aims to determine the effect of physical work environment, non-physical work environment, person job fit, and person organizational fit on employee performance at Perumda Air Minum Tirta Merapi Klaten Regency. This research is a quantitative study with a sampling method using probability sampling technique, which means that each member of the population has the same opportunity to be selected as a sample. Respondents in this study were 109 employees of Perumda Air Minum Tirta Merapi Klaten Regency. The data analysis technique used is the validity test method, reliability test, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, multiple linear analysis, and hypothesis testing (partial t test and simultaneous F test) using SPSS 26.00 software. The results showed that the physical work environment did not have an effect on employee performance, the non-physical work environment did not have an effect on employee performance, Person Job Fit had a significant effect on employee performance, Person Organizational Fit had no effect on employee performance. The results of hypothesis testing obtained a regression R-Square value of 0.135 which indicates that 13.5% of the four independent variables affect employee performance while 86.5% is influenced by other variables.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan kerja fisik, lingkungan kerja non fisik, person job fit, dan person organizational fit terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Perumda Air Minum Tirta Merapi Kabupaten Klaten. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik probability sampling, yang berarti bahwa setiap anggota populasi memiliki kesempatan yang sama untuk dipilih menjadi sampel. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 109 karyawan Perumda Air Minum Tirta Merapi Kabupaten Klaten. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah dengan metode uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, koefisien korelasi, koefisien determinasi, analisis linier berganda, dan penguji hipotesis (uji t parsial dan uji F simultan) dengan menggunakan Software SPSS 26.00.. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa lingkungan kerja fisik tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan, Lingkungan Kerja Non Fisik tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap Kinerja Karyawan, Person Job Fit memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan, Person Organizational Fit tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai R-Square regresi sebesar 0,135 yang mengindikasikan bahwa 13,5% keempat variabel independen mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan sedangkan 86,5% dipengaruhi oleh variable lain. Hasil temuan tersebut pada lingkungan kerja fisik dan non fisik menunjukkan kondisi tempat kerja yang perlu dipertimbangkan. Perusahaan tidak perlu terlalu fokus pada perbaikan lingkungan kerja secara menyeluruh, namun kondisi kerja yang nyaman dan hubungan antar karyawan tetap penting. Pada person job fit, temuan menegaskan pentingnya menempatkan karyawan sesuai dengan kemampuan, minat, dan keahlian mereka untuk meningkatkan kinerja. Evaluasi berkala dan penyesuaian penempatan karyawan perlu dilakukan. Sedangkan pada person organizational fit, meskipun penting, Perusahaan sebaiknya fokus pada person-job fit untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan

    Peran Jaringan Inovasi Terhadap Pertumbuhan Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah di Indonesia

    This study aims to test network innovation. The proven network innovation model is the Kaplan & Winby model, namely associations, suppliers, customers and government. Based on references from several countries, none have discussed network innovation for MSMEs affected by the Covid pandemic. So this study will test the innovation of the role of networks for the revival of MSMEs after the pandemic. Data was taken based on a questionnaire on MSMEs in the Bandung City area. Then the data processing uses the SPSS software application. Based on the results of data processing, the results obtained that partially based on the coefficient values of the association coefficients, suppliers, customers and show a direct influence on the Economic Recovery of MSMEs. Meanwhile, based on t count by taking a significance level of 5%, it is proven that the test is not significant or there is an influence from suppliers on the Economic Recovery of MSMEs. Simultaneously, it was obtained that 57.76% of the Economic Recovery of MSMEs was influenced by the variables of suppliers, associations, consumers and government. So it can be concluded that there is a linear relationship between suppliers, associations, consumers and the government on the Economic Recovery of MSMEs (Y) with a coefficient of determination (R2) = 57.76% or 57.76, this can also be interpreted that the influence of variables outside the model is small, namely 1-R2 = 1-57.76% = 42.24% (error).Penelitian ini bertujuan akan menguji jaringan inovasi. Model jaringan inovasi yang sudah teruji adalah model dari Kaplan & Winby yaitu asosiasi, supplier, pelanggan dan pemerintah. Berdasarkan referensi dari beberapa negara belum ada yang membahas jaringan inovasi untuk UMKM yang terdampak pandemi covid. Maka penelitian ini akan memeriksa peran jaringan inovasi untuk UMKM bangkit pasca pandemi. Data diambil berdasarkan kuesioner pada UMKM diwilayah Kota Bandung. Kemudian pengolahan data menggunakan aplikasi software SPSS. Berdasarkan hasil penngolahan data diperoleh hasil bahwa secara parsial berdasarkan nilai koefisien jalur asosiasi, supplier, pelanggan dan menunjukkan pengaruh langsung terhadap Pemulihan Ekonomi UMKM. Sementara berdasarkan thitung dengan mengambil taraf signifikan sebesar 5%, maka terbukti pengujian tidak signifikan atau ada pengaruh dari pemasok terhadap Pemulihan Ekonomi UMKM. Secara simultan diperoleh bahwa 57,76% Pemulihan Ekonomi UMKM dipengaruhi oleh variabel pemasok, asosiasi, konsumen dan pemerintah. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan secara linier antara pemasok, asosiasi, konsumen dan pemerintah terhadap Pemulihan Ekonomi UMKM (Y) sebesar koefisien determinasinya (R2) = 57,76% atau 57,76, hal ini juga dapat diartikan bahwa pengaruh variabel-variabel diluar model yang kecil yaitu 1-R2=1-57,76% =42,24% (error)

    The Role Of Business Strategy As A Mediating Influence Of Entrepreneurial Orientation On UMKM Business Performance

    The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and business performance among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), and to examine how business strategy mediates the relationship. The population in this study were business actors in Bekasi Regency in the Food & Bevarege sector. The sampling technique in this study was based on purposive sampling technique, namely regional sampling based on criteria. The criteria for selecting an area is to have a minimum of 100 business actors. The data collected is primary data through questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis was carried out using Smart PLS. The results of this study indicate that entrepreneurial orientation is positively related to MSME business performance, and that business strategy plays a mediating role in the relationship.     Human Capital in Green Economies: A Systematic Review of Workforce Transformation of Environmental Sustainability

    The relevance of development that is focused on both environmental sustainability and economic improvement is shown by the current global economic boom. With an emphasis on green skills development, green human resource management (GHRM), and its effects on environmental sustainability, this article provides a thorough overview of the role that human capital plays in assisting workforce transformation towards a green economy. This study examined 20 pertinent articles out of 1,760 that were found in the Semantic Scholar and Scopus databases using the PRISMA approach. The findings demonstrate that the adoption of green technology, particularly in the fields of sustainable industry and renewable energy, depends on the development of green human capital. To speed up the development of green talents, cooperation between the government, business community, and academic institutions is also required. The study also identifies significant prospects for job creation and environmental impact reduction, as well as obstacles to the green economy\u27s implementation, such as structural impediments and skills gaps.
