Preparing a young generation who is strong in dealing with landslides must be done early so that the community has preparedness when this disaster occurs. The students of SMP PGRI 2 and SMP Negeri 4 Balikpapan City were chosen to receive education, considering that the location of this school is in an area that has a high potential for landslides because the area has a steep contour and is a densely populated area. Get PDFDragon fruit is one type of fruit that can grow in tropical and subtropical areas such as Indonesia. Especially East Kalimantan Province, dragon fruit cultivation one of the people's livelihoods. In Karang Joang Village, KM 25 Balikpapan, there are dragon fruit farmers who experience problems related to dragon fruit plants growing in their gardens. Dragon fruit plants in the garden were attacked by diseases caused by viruses due to frequent exposure to rain. Handling the virus with herbal medicines that are easily available, making it easier for the operational costs of dragon fruit planting to be affordable. Spraying of herbal medicine is carried out on dragon fruit about 3 times a week with a garden area of 3-4 hectares. In addition, innovation is also given in making prototypes of automatic roofs in order to protect plants from extreme weather that can affect soil and plant conditions. Through the manufacture of this automatic roof prototype, it is hoped that it can help protect dragon fruit trees when they are in a season with high rainfall.Buah naga adalah salah satu jenis buah yang dapat tumbuh di daerah tropis maupun subtropis seperti Indonesia. Khususnya Provinsi Kalimantan Timur, budidaya buah naga menjadi salah satu mata pencaharian masyarakat. Di Kelurahan Karang Joang, KM 25 Balikpapan, terdapat petani buah naga yang mengalami permasalahan terkait tumbuhan buah naga di kebunnya. Tanaman buah naga di kebun tersebut terserang penyakit yang disebabkan oleh virus akibat sering terkena hujan. Penanganan virus dengan obat herbal yang mudah didapatkan sehingga meringankan biaya operasional penanaman buah naga menjadi lebih terjangkau. Penyemprotan obat herbal dilakukan ke buah naga sekitar 3 kali seminggu dengan luas kebun 3-4 hektar. Selain itui juga diberikan inovasi dalam pembuatan prototipe atap otomatis guna untuk melindungi tanaman dari cuaca yang ekstrim yang dapat mempengaruhi kondisi tanah dan tanaman. Melalui pembuatan prototipe atap otomatis yang dicetuskan ini, diharapkan agar sekiranya dapat membantu melindungi pohon buah naga ketika sedang berada di musim dengan curah hujan tinggi

Get PDFMedicinal plants are plants that have medicinal properties and are used as drugs in healing and preventing disease, the use of natural materials is more acceptable to the human body. Knowledge about the use of medicinal plants is an important element in improving the ability of individuals and families to obtain a healthy life. It is important to continue educating the public regarding the benefits of TOGA. One of the functions of TOGA is as an effort to improve public health including preventive efforts (prevention), promotive efforts (improvement/maintaining health), and curative efforts (curing disease). The solution offered is to provide counseling in the form of education related to improving public health by using TOGA which is expected to provide input on TOGA. With the education carried out, it is able to empower the community in the use of family medicinal plants as an effort to increase body immunity in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic. PKM partners are 21 housewives. The method of implementing the activity is to begin by identifying the needs to be used, follow-up surveys and collection of tools and materials needed, then identify the mechanism for implementing community service activities as well as education and socialization. The resulting outputs are: 1) empowering the community in the use of family medicinal plants as an effort to increase body immunity, and 2) becoming a published scientific work.
Tumbuhan obat adalah tumbuhan yang memiliki khasiat obat dan digunakan sebagai obat dalam penyembuhan maupun pencegahan penyakit, pemanfaatan bahan-bahan yang bersifat alamiah lebih diterima (acceptable) oleh tubuh manusia. Pengetahuan tentang pemanfaatan tanaman obat merupakan unsur penting dalam meningkatkan kemampuan individu juga keluarga untuk memperoleh hidup sehat. Penting kiranya untuk terus memberikan edukasi kepada msyarakat terkait manfaat dari TOGA. Salah satu fungsi TOGA adalah sebagai upaya peningkatan kesehatan masyarakat meliputi upaya preventif (pencegahan), upaya promotif (meningkatkan/menjaga kesehatan), dan upaya kuratif (penyembuhan penyakit). Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah memberi penyuluhan dalam bentuk edukasi terkait dengan peningkatan kesehatan masyarakat dengan pemanfaatan TOGA yang diharapkan dapat memberikan masukan mengenai TOGA. Dengan edukasi yang dilakukan mampu memberdayakan masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan tanaman obat keluarga sebagai upaya meningkatkan imunitas tubuh di tengah pandemi covid-19. Mitra PkM adalah Ibu Rumah Tangga sejumlah 21 orang. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan adalah dimulai dengan mengidentifikasi kebutuhan yang akan digunakan, survei lanjutan dan pengumpulan alat dan bahan yang dibutuhkan, kemudian identifikasi mekanisme pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, serta edukasi dan sosialisasi. Luaran yang dihasilkan diantaranya adalah: 1) memberdayakan masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan tanaman obat keluarga sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan imunitas tubuh, dan 2) menjadi karya ilmiah yang dipublikasi

The community's life (93%) highly depends on traditional farming and bambooworking. In selling and marketing bambooworking products, the community relies on consignment selling and marketing which relatively give small profit. consignment selling and marketing methods are challenged its effectiveness amidst digital development not to mention digital marketing and business. Thus, the empowerment program is performed to give the underlying concept of digital marketing and business so that the SME can reach wider potential buyers using digital marketing tools and platforms. This program was conducted using Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) emphasizing the active targeted society involvement. The program resulted in a better understanding of the digital marketing concept. The use of concrete objects as intermediaries in the learning process is an alternative to delivering interesting and interactive learning in the classroom. One of them is by using a display tool. The aim of this activity is to provide learning alternatives that make it easier for students to understand the Trigonometry Special Angles and to develop critical thinking of students during the learning process. The implementation of this activity is to apply a display tool as a Learning Tool In Trigonometry Special Angles. This activity was carried out on class XI students of SMK Yabri Terpadu Pekanbaru. This activity is carried out in three stages that are preparation, implementation, and evaluation. From the results of this activity, an evaluation shown that the use of Trigonometry Special Angles Display Tool in the learning process, make students easier to understand the learning trigonometry special angle and make the learning process more interesting and interactive.Permasalahan yang sering dihadapi oleh siswa adalah sulitnya siswa memahami matematika yang mengakibatkan rendahnya minat siswa dalam belajar matematika. salah satu faktor penyebab yaitu penyampaian materi yang satu arah membuat siswa pasif dalam menerima pembelajaran serta rendahnya imajinasi siswa dalam memahami konsep matematika yang abstrak dan tidak terlihat. penggunaan benda-benda konkrit sebagai perantara dalam proses pembelajaran merupakan salah satu alternatif penyampaian materi yang menarik dan interaktif untuk membangkitkan keaktifan siswa di kelas. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan alternatif pembelajaran yang memudahkan siswa dalam memahami materi pada trigonometri sudut istimewa serta menumbuhkan keaktifan siswa selama proses pembelajaran. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini yaitu menerapkan alat peraga sebagai alat pembelajaran dalam materi trigonometri sudut istimewa. Kegiatan ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas XI SMK Yabri Terpadu Pekanbaru. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan tiga tahapan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. It is true that online food delivery applications can provide convenience, however, these activities actually provide greater opportunities for them to consume unhealthy foods because the average food is available is fast food. This activity aims to increase the knowledge of workers regarding the selection of healthy and balanced nutrition so that they can be wiser in choosing food in online food delivery applications so as to create optimal nutritional status. This activity is fully implemented online. participating were 65 office workers. The implementation of this activity includes filling out the pre test, providing nutrition education using the ebook "Boek-Krispy" media, and filling out the post test. The measuring instrument used is a knowledge questionnaire and statistical test (Wilcoxon). Program Pendampingan Pengendalian Kualitas Dodol “D’Tungku” Melalui Pendekatan Sanitasi Pangan

Handling dodol from the production process to packaging needs to consider food safety so that its quality can be maintained and food contamination can be avoided. Sanitation Standard Process Procedure (SSOP) is one of the main requirements for food processing, including dodol. Food sanitation is an essential part of the dodol quality control process. This community service (PkM) aims to provide assistance and training to improve the quality of dodol in the "D'Tungku" betawi dodol business Hj Muhaya Bojong Gede Bogor. A straightforward application of food sanitation can be seen in workers' clothes. Production clothing must cover all parts of the body, thereby reducing contamination originating from the individual's body, such as sweat. Headgear and masks complement production clothing to protect against product contamination, especially hair and respiratory droplets. In addition to the dodol production process, the packaging process is also an essential part of maintaining the quality of dodol. This PkM provides several alternative proposals for dodol packaging, including vacuum packaging, which aims to make dodol more widely accepted. This PkM is expected to bring benefits to Hj. Muhaya's "D'Tungku" dodol business.Dodol digolongkan sebagai makanan ringan semi basah bertekstur kenyal serta tidak bertahan lama untuk disimpan karena rentan kontaminasi mikroorganisme. Penanganan dodol mulai dari proses produksi sampai pengemasan perlu mempertimbangkan keamanan pangan agar kualitasnya dapat dipertahankan dan kontaminasi pangan dapat dihindari. Sanitation Standard Process Procedure (SSOP) merupakan salah satu persyaratan utama yang harus dilakukan dalam pengolahan bahan pangan termasuk dodol. Sanitasi pangan menjadi bagian penting dalam proses pengendalian kualitas dodol. Tujuan dilakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini (PkM) ini adalah untuk memberikan pedampingan dan pelatihan peningkatan kualitas dodol di usaha dodol betawi “D’Tungku” Hj Muhaya Bojong Gede Bogor. Salah satu penerapan sanitasi pangan secara sederhana dapat dilihat dari pakaian pekerja. Pakaian produksi harus menutupi semua bagian tubuh, sehingga mengurangi adanya kontaminasi yang berasal dari tubuh individu, seperti keringat. Penutup kepala dan masker melengkapi pakaian produksi, dengan fungsi untuk melindungi produk kontaminasi khusunya rambut dan percikan pernapasan. Selain pada saat proses produksi dodol, proses pengemasan juga menjadi bagian penting dalam menjaga kualitas dodol. PkM ini memberikan beberapa usulan alternatif kemasan dodol termasuk kemasan vakum yang bertujuan agar dapat dodol dapat diterima lebih luas. PkM ini diharapkan membawa manfaat terhadap usaha dodol “D’Tungku” Hj Muhaya

Individuals will experience physical, sosial, and psychological/emotional changes, but it is also an excellent opportunity to grow and develop. Adolescents are also at risk of experiencing problems, including reproductive health problems and the development of sexual life. Approaches through biological and religious aspects are an excellent bridge to help adolescents face the changing lives of reproduction and sexuality, which are full of challenges. This activity aims to provide knowledge and foster directed attitudes about reproductive health and sexuality from a scientific and religious perspective. The form of action is counseling. The target of the activity is youth aged 11-15 years, junior high school students totaling 24 accounts (the number of participants is 30 students), and two accompanying teachers. The activity lasted approximately 60 minutes through an online meeting room. The activity evaluation results showed that the level of knowledge of adolescents as measured by online forms was mainly in the excellent range (60%). Students' activeness in interactions during the activity is also a good indicator response to the dimension of a caring attitude towards reproductive health. Mengatasi Limpasan Banjir Dengan Normalisasi Saluran Drainase Di Kelurahan Baru Ilir Kota Balikpapan
Get PDFLimpasan banjir ke jalan raya di perkotaan secara umum disebabkan oleh ketidak sesuai saluran drainase dengan volume limpasan air hujan dan disebabkan oleh saluran drainase yang rusak, tertutup semak belukar dan sedimen lumpur serta terhalang oleh bangunan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah sebagai perwujudan keterlibatan pergutuan tinggi, dunia usaha, dan masyarakat dalam mengatasi permasalahan yang terjadi di lingkungan masyarakat, khususnya kawasan hunian dan jalan yang tergenang limpasan banjir. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini berupa bimbingan teknik, konsultasi dan komunikasi sehingga keterlibatan masyarakat setempat dalam pekerjaan normalisasi sluran drainase dapat maksimal. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat menunjukan bahwa masyarakat setempat antusias dapat dilibatkan pada kegiatan proyek dilingkungannya dan antusias mengikuti bimbingan teknis sehingga dapat melakukan pekerjaan secara mandiri. Dari hasil kegiatan kagiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini pula telah terwujud partisipasi perguruan tinggi, dunia usaha dan masyarakat setempat secara bersama-sama menyelesaikan permasalahan dilingkungan perkotaan, khususnya masalah banjir di Jalan Suprapto, Kota Balikpapan. Limpasan banjir ke jalan raya diperkotaan secara umum disebabkan oleh ketidak sesuai saluran drainase dengan volume limpasan air hujan dan disebabkan oleh saluran drainase yang rusak, tertutup semak belukar dan sedimen lumpur serta terhalang oleh bangunan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah sebagai perwujudan keterlibatan pergutuan tinggi, dunia usaha, dan masyarakat dalam mengatasi permasalahan yang terjadi dilingkungan masyarakat, khususnya kawasan hunian dan jalan yang tergenang limpasan banjir. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini berupa bimbingan teknik, konsultasi dan komunikasi sehingga keterlibatan masyarakat setempat dalam pekerjaan normalisasi sluran drainase dapat maksimal. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat menunjukan bahwa masyarakat setempat antusias dapat dilibatkan pada kegiatan proyek dilingkungannya dan antusias mengikuti bimbingan teknis sehingga dapat melakukan pekerjaan secara mandiri. Dari hasil kegiatan kagiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini pula telah terwujud partisipasi perguruan tinggi, dunia usaha dan masyarakat setempat secara bersama-sama menyelesaikan permasalahan dilingkungan perkotaan, khususnya masalah banjir di Jalan Suprapto, Kota Balikpapan.
