The purpose of this study is to identify perspectives of the graduate students at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines taking Master’s in Public Administration on E-learning during the Coronavirus pandemic so that the E-learning system can be improved and strengthened. This study followed the constructivist learning theory in which learners evaluate and encode Information based on their perceptions and experiences. Descriptive-quantitative is used in this study to describe general or specific behaviors and attributes observed and measured.  This study has made used of a researcher’s made survey questionnaire to elicit student respondents’ demographic characteristics and their perceptions on online teaching and learning. The results revealed that respondents occasionally encountered difficulties while courses were conducted online. This order of problems that arise in online learning changes the framework of the crisis caused by the pandemic. Dropping signals during videoconferences are followed by the teacher’s lack of technical skills and their teaching style inappropriately tailored to the online situation. However, they rated a positive impact on the ability to learn and Integrate Information in the framework of solely online learning.  Moreover, the respondents concluded that different platforms available for teaching online were useful. Based on these findings, the researchers recommended addressing the technical problems encountered during the online class. Moreover, proper training for teachers must be considered to meet the skills needed in the conduct of the online class

There is a new breed of teacher who uses their skills and abilities to build and develop programs, services, and products that improve the teaching and learning process. This spawned a new type of entrepreneurship known as educational entrepreneurship, edupreneurship or teacherpreneurship. Edupreneur in the study is as a member of a school organization who engages in outside entrepreneurial activities that is relevant to education, teaching, or learning. Using the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA), the researcher conducted interviews and confirmed them through narrative reflection, field notes, and theoretical memos to five participants. The method triangulation was used to ensure validity and achieved data saturation which helped in the interpretation of the essence of the participants’ lived experiences using the Seven-Steps of IPA Data Analysis (Smith, 2009). Based on the experiences of the participants, they exemplify and are characterized as being hands-on which means doing everything and understanding what is going on in their businesses. Being hardworking or putting much effort and keep trying to succeed both in the area of teaching and business. They also exhibited flexibility or the ability to adapt to changes may it be in their teaching career or their business and on how and when things and jobs have to be done. They are empowering as they invest in relationship with people, trusting, valuing, supporting, and communicating with them. Empowering others will lead to people wanting to work and help in achieving the goals of the business. The participants constantly learn and grow as evinced on their additional studies, training, and from their learned experiences and lessons in life. Being creative, innovative, resourceful, problem solvers, positive, and visionaries and who know themselves and their capabilities were also common characteristics of the participants who thrive and beat the odds of their two roles as edupreneurs

COVID-19 pandemic has caused many new impacts on the listening learning process. This research was conducted to determine the need for listening teaching materials to the conditions after the Covid-19 pandemic. The study was conducted on 120 students who were taking listening courses, using a descriptive quantitative method using the SPSS version 22 application. The researcher conducted a validity and reliability test with the results of the r-count value on all question items above 0.312 and a significant value of 0.554 greater than the value-r table 0.312, so it can be concluded that the instrument is valid and feasible to use. The results of the study show that students nowadays prefer to use digital teaching materials compared to printed teaching materials, especially in listening learning. The form of digital teaching materials that they need the most to support the listening learning process is a digital module. It is felt that it can save time, energy, and costs, make it easier for students to understand the material in the listening learning process because the material is presented in an interesting and not boring way. Students hope that the module is made by combining two or more media.

Comparative Analysis of Export Performance of Indian Cocoa during Pre and Post MIDH Periods

A progress of cocoa cultivation was focused on the objective of estimating the growth rate of export quantity and value of Indian cocoa and identifying the trade direction of Indian cocoa. The study was based on the secondary data for 15 years (2006-07 to 2020-21), separated into period I (Pre-MIDH) and period II (Post-MIDH). Compound growth rate used to estimate the export quantity and value, Markov chain analysis for probability changes of cocoa exports to the major markets. The study found that the share of cocoa exports in agricultural exports in terms of value increased from 5.25% in 2011-12 to 10.83% in 2020–21 for the last decade of the study. The growth rate analysis, export quantity and value increased in the both periods. The transition probability matrix showed that Nepal was the most stable importing market for Indian cocoa in a period I, whereas the USA and Turkey were stable importers in period II. The other markets retained a probability share with a low probability and were considered unstable markets. Hence, the study concluded that a robust export policy is responsible for stabilizing the international market, disseminate export-oriented strategies of cocoa beans to farmers, and raise the level of price competition for Indian cocoa abroad. The government sector is responsible for setting Premium cocoa prices, building large-scale processing plants with high production rates and facilities for farmers producers organisations (FPO) to distribute cocoa beans, and luring international buyers by improving the quality of the beans
