    THE RICHNESS OF TAFSIR AL-QUR’AN: METHODS IN INTERPRETING THE VERSES OF THE QUR'AN

    This research intends to explore various treasures of Al-Qur'an interpretation related to the method of interpreting the verses of the Qur'an. This research is a qualitative research in the form of library research (Library Research). The primary data sources used are the Al-Qur'an and the book of Tafsir related to the methodology of al-Qur'an interpretation by al-Farmawi and M. Quraish Shihab. While the secondary data sources used are various scientific literature relevant to the core object of this research. This research includes conceptual research with a philosophical-normative approach. While the nature of this research approach is descriptive-analytic and prescriptive. The results of this study indicate that there are four methods of interpreting the verses of the Koran, namely the tahlîli method, the maudhû'i method, the ijâmlî method, and the muqâran method. In the development of interpretation, there are new methods of interpretation in the treasury of the science of exegesis as initiated by contemporary interpreters, namely the semi-maudhîli tahlîli interpretation method, the semi-tahlîli maudhû'i interpretation method, and the semi-tahlili ijâmlî interpretation method.This research intends to explore various treasures of Al-Qur'an interpretation related to the method of interpreting the verses of the Qur'an.     BARTHES' SEMIOTICS ANALYSIS OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE MEANING OF THE WORSHIP BY TAKMIR PURWOKERTO MOSQUE

    The objective of this study is investigate the meaning of the worsahip practiced by Takmir Purwokerto Mosques through the use of Barthes’ semiotic analysis. It is argued that humans’ language goes dynamically in which the developments and changes in human language can cause a shift in meaning. To understand the phenomenon, this study used qualitaive research method. Data was colected through direct observation of worship activites and we also conducted in-depth interview with the participants. At the analysis stage, the author uses Barthes semiotics to reveal the implementation of the meaning of worship by the takmir of the Purwokerto mosque. The results of this study show that the importance of worship at the time of the Apostle has a broader sense. In this case, the implementation of the meaning of the term worship by the Takmir of the mosque in Purwokerto was only for mahdhah worship only. Mosques are not used for other activities as support for mahdhah worship. So the mosque is closed at certain times.     CLASSIFICATION OF TAFSIR MAUDHU'I MAHMUD SYALTUT

    Various methods of exegesis have been born which in essence are attempts to reveal the meanings of the Qur'an. The most popular maudhu'i (thematic) interpretation method for this matter. The majority of scholars are of the opinion that maudhu'i interpretation is revealing the meanings of the Qur'an and explaining its more general meanings, and explaining difficult-to-understand pronunciations. This article uses the library research method (Library Research) which requires qualitative data. This research is based on the contents of books, journals, and other library sources. This method is very commonly used so it is easy to understand. The objectives to be achieved from this article are to find out the biography of Mahmud Syltut, to find out the identity of the printed book to the method used by Mahmud Shaltut in writing his commentary. So that we can find the meaning of the word Maudhu'i according to Mahmud Syaltut "That the maudhu'i method, in addition to other methods, is a very good method, especially for materials published to the public, with the aim of giving them instructions about various kinds of guidance. contained in the Koran

    FACTORS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THINKING IN THE ABBASID DYNASTY

    Abbasid is the pinnacle of Islamic civilization in the realm of science. During approximately 526 glorious years with 37 caliphs, many achievements were achieved, one of which was the emergence of many scientists. The glory achieved needs to be an inspiration in alleviating and saving people from being left behind by other people. This study aims to present the factors of the progress of the civilization of the Abbasid dynasty which were born from the personality and policies of the caliphs. Policies from the caliph influence the people to create a rational climate and culture of society in living life. This research method is library research or library research, namely research conducted to collect information through various media, both print and electronic, that have been studied. The result is a figure of a strong leader providing policies that favor the development of science. Apart from that, in the first period of the caliphate, economic stability and state security were achieved so that people prospered and focused on developing science. Kebijakan dari khalifah yang memberikan pengaruh kepada masyarakatnya sehingga tercipta iklim dan budaya masyarakat yang rasional dalam menjalani kehidupan. Metode penelitian ini adalah library research atau penelitian kepustakaan yaitu penelitian yang dilakukan mengumpulkan informasi melalui berbagai media baik cetak maupun elektronik yang pernah diteliti. Hasilnya figur dari pemimpin yang kuat memberikan kebijakan yang berpihak dalam pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Selain itu pada periode pertama kekhalifahan kestabilan ekonomi dan keamanan negara tercapai sehingga masyarakat makmur dan memfokuskan diri pada penngembangan ilmu pengetahuan.     THE PATTERN OF ADABI IJTIMA'I INTERPRETATION OF AL-MISBAH IN THE CONTEXTUALIZATION OF NUSYUZ VERSES

    Corak Adabi Ijtima'i (budaya kemasyarakatan) dalam menafsirkan kalam ilahi merupakan salah satu disiplin ilmu yang relatif baru digunakan oleh para mufassir era modern. Berbagai fenomena sosial masyarakat dan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang terbatas dibahas dalam Al-Qur'an, menimbulkan disiplin ilmu di bidang tafsir yang tidak mampu menjawab persoalan baru. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini membahas tentang pola tafsir adabi ijtima’i Al-mishbah dalam kontekstualisasi ayat-ayat Nusyuz. Studi ini merupakan studi literature review yang datanya dikumpulkan dari bahan atau dokumen sekunder. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan interpretasi. Teks-teks ayat Nusyuz dianalisis dan ditafsirkan untuk memahami topiknya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Quraish Shihab terbiasa menggunakan pola Adabi Ijtima'i dalam menafsirkan nusyuz, menyinggung kebiasaan dan identitas laki-laki dan perempuan dengan sifat dan fungsi yang berbeda, memperbaharui istri nusyuz tiga rangkaian berturut-turut. dengan menasihati, tidak melayani seks dan memukul. Potensi nusyuz juga terletak pada suami, menyelesaikan kesengsaraan, dan ego, mengorbankan hak istri atau suami demi keutuhan rumah tangga.The pattern of Adabi Ijtima'i (social culture) in interpreting the divine kalam is one of the relatively new scientific disciplines used by modern era mufassir. Various social phenomena of society and the development of science and technology are limited discussed in the Qur'an, giving rise to scientific disciplines in the field of interpretation that can not answer new problems. Therefore, this study discusses the pattern of adabi ijtima’i interpretation of Al-mishbah in the contextualization of Nusyuz verses. This study is a literature review study in the data was gathered from secondary materials or document. The data was analysed using interpretation approach. The texts of Nusyuz verses were analysed and interpreted to understand the topic. The results of this study show that Quraish Shihab was familiar with using the Adabi Ijtima'i pattern in interpreting nusyuz, alluding to the habits and identities of a man and a woman with different traits and functions, renewing a nusyuz wife three series of consecutive sequences by advising, not serving sex and beating. The potential of nusyuz also lies with the husband, resolving the misery, and the ego, sacrificing the rights of either the wife or the husband for domestic integrity

    Keberagaman dalam beragama memunculkan perkawinan beda agama sebagai masalah yang diperdebatkan di Indonesia pada umumnya dan Islam pada khususnya. ada beberapa interpretasi yang berbeda di dalamnya fuqaha’ atau ulama Islam tentang hal ini dipengaruhi oleh beberapa penjelasan yang diberikan dalam Al-Qur’an. Fokus dalam artikel penelitian ini adalah penafsiran ulama tentang ayat ahkam yang menyinggung perkawinan beda agama. Penelitian ini merupakan kualitatif deskriptif dan termasuk jenis penelitian bibliografi karena berusaha mengumpukan data, menganalisis dan membuat interpretasi tentang tafsir ayat ahkam perkawinan beda agama. Dengan sumber data dan buku-buku yang berkaitan dengan obyek kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pendapat ulama yang melarang perkawinan antara laki-laki muslim dengan perempuan musyrik. Ada ulama yang mengkategorikan musyrik yang hanya meliputi musrik arab dan ada yang mengkategorikan musyrikat secara global. Sedangkan penafsiran tentang menikah dengan ahli kitab, para ulama sepakat membolehkan dengan kriteria-kriteria masing-masing ulama. Penafsiran mereka pun berdasarkan pendekatan-pendekatan sesuai dengan kaidah fiqh. Ulama kontemporer berpendapat bahwa perkawinan beda agama sepantasnya dilarang sebagai tindakan preventif untuk mencegah kemudharatan yang lebih besar.   Keyword : tafsir, perkawinan, agamaDiversity in religion raises interfaith marriage as a debated issue in Indonesia in general and Islam in particular. there are several different interpretations in which the fuqaha' or Islamic scholars on this subject are influenced by some of the explanations given in the Qur'an. The focus of this research article is the interpretation of Islamic scholars regarding the ahkam verse which alludes to interfaith marriages. This research is a descriptive qualitative and includes the type of bibliographic research because it tries to collect data, analyze and make interpretations of the interpretation of the verse on Ahkam in interfaith marriages. With data sources and books related to the object of this study, it shows that there is an opinion of the Ulama that prohibits marriage between Muslim men and polytheistic women. There are scholars who categorize polytheists which only include Arab musrik and there are those who categorize polytheists globally. While the interpretation of marrying the people of the book, the scholars agree that it is permissible according to the criteria of each scholar. Their interpretation is also based on approaches in accordance with fiqh rules.     STUDY OF THE EFFECT OF MACROECONOMIC INDICATORS ON MUDHARABAH SAVINGS IN INDONESIAN SHARIA BANKING

    This study will discuss the impact of the profit level shares, interest rates BI, inflation, and the number of Islamic banking offices on the mudharabah savings in Indonesia. The population are the whole unit of Sharia banking in Indonesia, while the research sample was selected from 60 pieces divided into five variables. Each variable represents 12 samples selected based on monthly data. Research data were obtained from secondary sources like Bank Indonesia, Financial Services Authority, Sharia Commercial Banks, and Sharia Business Units with data period from January 2017 – December 2021. Time series data includes monthly statistical reports on BI interest rate data, inflation, and monthly banking reports in Sharia. The data analysis method uses the Eviews application with linear regression analysis. The results indicate that the variables for profit-sharing, BI rate, inflation, and several offices simultaneously have a significant effect on mudharabah savings in Islamic banks in Indonesia.Penelitian ini akan membahas pengaruh tingkat keuntungan saham, suku bunga BI, inflasi, dan jumlah kantor perbankan syariah terhadap tabungan mudharabah di Indonesia. Populasinya adalah seluruh unit perbankan syariah di Indonesia, sedangkan sampel penelitian dipilih dari 60 orang yang terbagi dalam lima variabel. Setiap variabel mewakili 12 sampel yang dipilih berdasarkan data bulanan. Data penelitian diperoleh dari sumber sekunder seperti Bank Indonesia, Otoritas Jasa Keuangan, Bank Umum Syariah, dan Unit Usaha Syariah dengan periode data dari Januari 2017 – Desember 2021. Data time series meliputi laporan statistik bulanan data suku bunga BI, inflasi, dan bulanan laporan perbankan syariah. Metode analisis data menggunakan aplikasi Eviews dengan analisis regresi linier. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel bagi hasil, BI rate, inflasi, dan beberapa kantor secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tabungan mudharabah pada bank syariah di Indonesia

    A NEW READING OF IMAM SADIQ'S DEBATES BASED ON INTERTEXTUALITY OF GENETTEE THEORY

    The aim of this study is to discuss the new reading of Imam Saddiq debate based on intertextuality of Genette Theory. Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) engaged in discussions with various people during his lifetime and tried to show the truth based on the book and religion of his grandfather, the Messenger of God. This study used content analysis approach to analyse Imam Sadiq though and the results of the study was presented based on themes found in the data. The findings of this study shows that theories of Intertextuality, including the Intertextual theory of Kristova and Barthes and the theory of Genette's trans textuality, are new approaches to reading and criticizing texts. Genette proposed his theory of trans textuality on five bases, and intertextuality is one of his bases. After briefly introducing the theories of trans textuality using Genet's theory of intertextuality, this article deals with a new reading of Imam Sadiq's debates with different people. Using the descriptive-analytical method, it examines the text of the discussions with the verses and concepts of the Holy Quran, and the types of relationships intertextuality, expresses them.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membahas bacaan baru debat Imam Saddiq berdasarkan intertekstualitas Teori Genette. Imam Sadiq (saw) terlibat dalam diskusi dengan berbagai orang selama hidupnya dan mencoba untuk menunjukkan kebenaran berdasarkan kitab dan agama kakeknya, Rasulullah. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis isi untuk menganalisis olah Imam Shadiq dan hasil kajian disajikan berdasarkan tema yang ditemukan dalam data. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa teori Intertekstualitas, termasuk teori Intertekstual Kristova dan Barthes serta teori transtekstualitas Genette, merupakan pendekatan baru dalam membaca dan mengkritik teks. Genette mengusulkan teorinya tentang tekstualitas trans pada lima landasan, dan intertekstualitas adalah salah satu landasannya. Setelah memperkenalkan secara singkat teori-teori transtekstualitas dengan menggunakan teori intertekstualitas Genet, artikel ini membahas bacaan baru tentang perdebatan Imam Shadiq dengan orang yang berbeda.     INTEGRATION OF CHARACTER EDUCATION VALUES IN LANGUAGE LEARNING AT AN ISLAMIC JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL

    Penelitian ini tentang integrasi nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran dengan berfokus pada bentuk dan proses serta metode dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab  di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 4 Kota Palu. Metode pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melaui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan (1) model kurikulum pendidikan karakter adalah model hidden curriculum, dimana nilai-nilai karakter sudah terintegrasi dalam semua mata pelajaran. Sedangkan bentuk pengimplementasiannya dengan menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di kelas. (2) Model dan proses integrasinya dengan pemuatan nilai-nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab dengan cara memasukan nilai-nilai tersebut dalam silabus dan RPP serta menginternalisaikannya dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab dalam kelas. (3) Metode pengintegrasiannya dengan menerapkan metode belajar yang melibatkan partisipasi aktif peserta didik, serta menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif sehingga peserta didik dapat belajar dengan efektif dalam suasana yang aman dan penuh semangat serta termotivasi.This research is about the integration of character education values ​​in learning by focusing on forms and processes and methods of integrating character education values ​​in learning Arabic at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 4 Palu City. The method in this study is a qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show (1) the character education curriculum model is the hidden curriculum model, where character values ​​are already integrated in all subjects. While the form of implementation is by internalizing character values ​​in learning Arabic in class. (2) The model and its integration process by loading character values ​​in learning Arabic by including these values ​​in the syllabus and lesson plans and internalizing them in the process of learning Arabic in class. (3) The method of integration is by applying learning methods that involve the active participation of students, as well as creating a conducive learning environment so that students can learn effectively in a safe atmosphere and are full of enthusiasm and motivation

    ANDALUSIAN ISLAM IN THE HISTORY OF MAZHABS

    Abstrak Penaklukan wilayah Andalusia oleh Dinasti Umayyah yang berpusat di Damaskus saat itu, membuat gerakan ekspansi wilayah kekuasaan ke wilayah Andalusia (Eropa). Bahkan terbentuk kekuasaan Dinasti Umayyah II, setelah Dinasti Abbasiyah mengambil alih kekuasaan di Damaskus. Era itu merupakan puncak keemasan ulama fiqh, lahir berbagai macam pemikiran yang pada akhirnya menjadi mazhab-mazhab, mulai dari mazhab Hanbali, Maliki dan Hanafi. Penulis tertarik untuk mengulas sejarah mazhab di Islam Andalusia, mazhab apa saja yang pernah berlaku dan dijadikan mazhab resmi di Andalusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan menelusuri eksistensi mazhab Islam Andalusia, kontribusi mazhab dalam memperkaya khazanah keilmuan di Islam Andalusia, hingga peran mazhab sebagai pemersatu Islam Andalusia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian pustaka dengan pendekatan historis. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa ada tiga mazhab yang pernah berlaku di Islam Andalusia, yaitu Mazhab Auza’i yang dipelopori oleh imigran Syam, sebagai mazhab mayoritas saat itu dan bukan mazhab resmi, Mazhab Maliki menjadi mazhab resmi Islam Andalusia dan upaya Dinasti Muwahhidun menumpas dan menghilangkan Mazhab Maliki di tanah Andalusia dan menggantinya dengan Mazhab Zahiri sebagai mazhab resmi Islam Andalusia. Kata Kunci      : Islam, Andalusia, Sejarah, MazhabAbstract The conquest of the Andalusian region by the Umayyad Dynasty, which was centered in Damascus at that time, moved the territory of power to the Andalusian region (Europe). Even the Umayyad Dynasty II was formed after the Abbasid Dynasty took power in Damascus. That era was the golden peak of fiqh scholars, born a variety of thoughts that eventually became madhhabs, ranging from the Hanbali, Maliki, and Hanafi madhhabs. The author is interested in reviewing the history of madhhabs in Andalusian Islam and what madhhabs have prevailed and become official madhhabs in Andalusia. This research aims to trace the existence of Andalusian Islamic madhhabs, the contribution of madhhabs to enriching the scientific treasures of Andalusian Islam, and the role of madhhabs in unifying Andalusian Islam. This research uses a literature review method with a historical approach. The results of this study state that three madhhabs have prevailed in Andalusian Islam: the Auza'i Madhhab, pioneered by Sham immigrants, as the majority madhhab at that time and not the official madhhab, the Maliki Madhhab, which became the official madhhab of Andalusian Islam, and the efforts of the Muwahhidun Dynasty to suppress and eliminate the Maliki Madhhab in Andalusian land and replace it with the Zahiri Madhhab as the official madhhab of Andalusian.
