    ETNO-STEM DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPA : A SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW

    Ethno-STEM research is the latest research in Indonesia. This is motivated by the socio-cultural diversity that is owned by Indonesia. This research is a systematic literature study that identifies ethno-STEM research trends in science learning (science, physics, chemistry, and biology) at each level of education. Based on the data obtained, the trend of Ethno-STEM research is dominated by development research (4D, ADDIE, Bolg and Gall, and R&D). the trend of research topics is more related to the development of Ethno-STEM-based teaching materials in science learning. The variables that are widely measured are the increase in creative thinking skills, learning outcomes, and scientific knowledge AbstrakPenelitian etno-STEM merupakan penelitian terbaru di Indonesia. Hal ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keragamaan sosial budaya yang dimiliki oleh Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi literatur sistematis yang mengidentifikasi tren penelitian etno-STEM dalam pembelajaran IPA  (sains, fisika, kimia dan biologi) pada setiap tingkat pendidikan. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, trend penelitian Etno-STEM didominasi oleh penelitian pengembangan (4D, ADDIE, Bolg and Gall dan R&D). trend topik penelitian lebih banyak terkait dengan pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis Etno-STEM dalam pembeljaran IPA.     THE EFFECTIVENESS ONLINE LEARNING MEDIUM IN INCREASING VOCATIONAL EDUCATION STUDENT MOTIVATION

    The industrial era 4.0 demands changes in various aspects of life, including using the learning strategies and media. A learning strategy that suits the demands of the industrial era 4.0 is online learning using digital information technology-based. Many platforms offered to teachers for online learning, both paid and free platforms. Google Classroom is an example of a free online learning platform. Meanwhile, Office Administration Vocational School teacher usualy conduct offline learning using PowerPoint. This study aimed to find out the effectiveness of learning media of Google Classroom and PowerPoint in increasing the learning motivation of students in Office Administration Vocational School (OAVS) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This study used a quantitative approach, a quasi-experimental method, and a non-equivalent control group design model. The population was students of OAVS in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, covering four districts and one city. The sample was selected by cluster sampling technique based on the districts or city. Each district or city selected two schools as a sample, in which homogenous in characteristics. Data collection techniques used observation, documentation, and focus group discussion.AbstrakEra industri 4.0 menuntut perubahan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk penggunaan strategi dan media pembelajaran. Strategi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan tuntutan era industri 4.0 adalah pembelajaran online menggunakan berbasis teknologi informasi digital. Banyak platform yang ditawarkan kepada guru untuk pembelajaran online, baik platform berbayar maupun gratis. Google Classroom adalah contoh platform pembelajaran online gratis. Sedangkan guru SMK Administrasi Perkantoran biasanya melakukan pembelajaran offline dengan menggunakan PowerPoint. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan media pembelajaran Google Classroom dan PowerPoint dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa SMK Administrasi Perkantoran di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, metode eksperimen semu, dan model desain kelompok kontrol non-ekuivalen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMK Administrasi Perkantoran di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta yang meliputi empat kabupaten dan satu kota. Sampel dipilih dengan teknik cluster sampling berdasarkan kabupaten atau kota. Setiap kabupaten atau kota memilih dua sekolah sebagai sampel yang sifatnya homogen. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, dan focus group discussion.

    PEMBELAJARAN DARING UNTUK MENDUKUNG IMPLEMENTASI MERDEKA BELAJAR KAMPUS MERDEKA (MBKM)

    The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of bold learning tools for Model Development and Reality courses in the form of semester learning plans (RPS), media, and learning materials. This learning tool will be used by students who collaborate on student exchanges in order to support the implementation of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) in higher education. This development uses the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate) model. The results of the test using learning tools were declared very good by material experts (100%) and media experts (91.67%). Likewise with the results of trials conducted on students as user samples. Users say the results are very good (90%). Meanwhile, the effectiveness of this research product can be proven by the test scores achieved by the experimental class students. The results of the A test reached 86.4% of the experimental class students and 57.2% of the control class students. In conclusion, it can be stated that this product applies the principles used and is effectively used for bold learning. Considering that the resulting product is easily accessible and user friendly, it will be able to support the implementation of merdeka belajar kampus merdeka AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran daring untuk mata kuliah Pengembangan Model dan Realia berupa rancangan pembelajaran semester (RPS), media, dan bahan pembelajaran. Perangkat pembelajaran ini akan digunakan secara daring oleh mahasiswa yang melakukan kerjasama pertukaran pelajar dalam rangka mendukung implementasi Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) di Pendidikan tinggi. Pengembangan ini menggunakan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). Hasil uji kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran dinyatakan sangat baik oleh ahli materi (100%) dan ahli media (91,67%). Demikian juga dengan hasil uji coba yang dilakukan kepada mahasiswa sebagai sampel pengguna. Pengguna menyatakan hasilnya sangat baik (90%). Sedangkan keefektifan produk penelitian ini dapat dibuktikan dengan nilai hasil tes yang dicapai mahasiswa kelas experimen. Hasil tes nilai A dicapai 86,4% mahasiswa kelas eksperimen dan 57,2% mahasiswa kelas kontrol.  Sebagai kesimpulan dapat dikemukakan bahwa produk ini memenuhi kaidah-kaidah kelayakan dan efektif digunakan untuk pembelajaran daring. Mengingat produk yang dihasilkan ini mudah diakses dan user friendly maka akan dapat mendukung implementasi program merdeka belajar kampus merdeka

    ASESMEN KOMPETENSI MINIMUM SEBAGAI TRANSFORMASI PENDIDIKAN DI SEKOLAH DASAR

    In 2021, the government issued a new policy, namely the "Merdeka Belajar" program to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. The quality of education can be improved through the development of student literacy and numeracy skills with the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM), which is a national assessment instrument that tests students' reading and numeracy literacy skills. Through Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM), the transformation of education in Indonesia is expected to be more creative and innovative. This research is of the qualitative research type with a case study approach. This study involved the principal, grade 5th teacher, and three grade 5th students of Elementary School 2 Lemahireng who were selected by the snow-ball sampling technique. The research instrument is in the form of interview guidelines. Data collection uses observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data analysis uses reduction, data presentation, and conclusion techniques. In this study, source triangulation was used. The results showed that school preparation in facing Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) includes providing facilities and infrastructure, conducting training for teachers, and equipping students with tryouts. School obstacles in implementing Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) are not stable internet network, insufficient number of learning modules, teachers applying lecture methods, at least preparation time, difficulty in developing assessments and compiling Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM)-based questions, and some students who are not good at reading. AbstrakPada tahun 2021, pemerintah mengeluarkan kebijakan baru yaitu program “Merdeka Belajar” untuk memperbaiki mutu pendidikan di Indonesia. Mutu pendidikan dapat ditingkatkan melalui pengembangan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa dengan Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM), yang merupakan suatu instrumen asesmen nasional yang menguji kemampuan literasi membaca dan numerasi siswa. Melalui AKM, transformasi pendidikan di Indonesia diharapkan dapat lebih kreatif dan inovatif. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian ini melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru kelas 5, dan tiga siswa kelas 5 SD Negeri 2 Lemahireng yang dipilih dengan teknik snow-ball sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa pedoman wawancara. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik reduksi, penyajian data, dan menyimpulkan. Pada penelitian ini digunakan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persiapan sekolah dalam menghadapi AKM meliputi, penyediaan sarana dan prasarana, mengadakan pelatihan bagi guru, serta membekali siswa dengan tryout. Kendala sekolah dalam pelaksanaaan AKM, yaitu belum stabilnya jaringan internet, jumlah modul pembelajaran belum mencukupi, guru menerapkan metode ceramah, sedikitnya waktu persiapan, kesulitan guru dalam mengembangkan penilaian dan menyusun soal berbasis AKM, dan beberapa siswa yang belum pandai membaca

    EXPLORING STUDENTS PERCEPTION AND BELIEF TOWARD THE INTERNET USAGE IN ENGLISH LEARNING

    Since the spread of Covid 19 pandemic around the world, the utilization of internet as online media is a must. The use of internet in the education field stresses on students to hugely adapt their learning process. Therefore, this study aimed at finding to explore of students’ perception and belief toward the internet usage in terms of what their perception and belief toward the internet usage, how correlation between  their perception and belief toward the internet usage and what differences between male and female students on the perception and belief toward the internet usage. This study recruited 25 junior high school students. The data was gathered via questionnaire. The findings highlighted three points. The first point was that students gained positive perception and belief toward the internet usage in learning. The second point was that the existence of correlations between the perception and belief (significance two tailed at .044). However, the correlation was at the moderate level (r-value at .551). The third point was that there were no differences between male and female students in their perception (significance two tailed at .623) and belief (significance two tailed at .891) toward the internet usage. The suggestions are offered pedagogics and future researches AbstrakSejak merebaknya pandemi Covid 19 di seluruh dunia, penggunaan internet sebagai media daring adalah suatu keharusan. Penggunaan internet di dunia pendidikan menekankan kepada para siswa secara massif untuk beradaptasi selama proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi persepsi para siswa dan juga keyakinan mereka terhadap penggunaan internet dalam hal bagaiamana persepsi para siswa dan keyakinan mereka terhadap penggunaan internet untuk media pembelajaran, bagaiamana korelasi antara persepsi dan keyakinan mereka terhadap penggunaan internet, dan apa perbedaan antara persepsi dan keyakinan siswa laki – laki dan perempuan terhadap penggunaan internet. Penelitian ini merekrut 25 siswa sekolah menengah pertama. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket. Hasil penelitian ini teridir dari tiga poin. Poin pertama bahwa para siswa mempunyai perspei dan keyakinan yang baik terhadap penggunaan internet untuk media pembelajran mereka. Poin kedua bahwa adanya korelasi antara persepsi dengan keyakinan terkait penggunaan internet untuk media pembelajaran (nilai signifikan pada 0.044). Tetapi, korelasi tersebut ada pada level menengah (nilai R pada 0.551). poin ketiga bahwa tidak ada perbedaan antara para sisqa laki laki dan perempuan terkait persepsi (nilai signifikan 0.623) dan keyakinan (nilai signifikan 0.891) mereka di dalam penggunaan internet. Saran – saran diberikan dalam kontek pedagogik and penelitain kedepannya.

    INTEGRASI TEKNOLOGI DALAM PENDIDIKAN DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19

    Rapid technological development affects various life aspects, one of which is in the field of education. Technology has a crucial role in education to improve and achieve educational goals. This research aims 1) implementation of technology in education during the Covid-19 pandemic and 2) integration of technology in education. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through the telesurvey method using a questionnaire held in April 2021. The research population was conducted throughout Indonesian citizens over 17 years who spread across 34 provinces. The research sample selected was 1000 respondents selected using a multistage random sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out descriptively. The results show that: 1) 65.7% of the public claimed online learning has not been effectively implemented. Some parents hope that face-to-face learning will soon be implemented because online learning is not optimal, students start to complain about online learning, the Covid-19 dispersion trend has begun to decline, and the vaccine is available. Some parents disagree because the spread of Covid-19 is still high, the vaccinations are unevenly distributed, students prefer to study from home, and students are more susceptible to Covid-19. 2) 64.7% of the public declared that technology should be applied in education, and 66.0% of the public thought that technology-integrated education would be an essential need to improve the quality of national education.AbstrakPerkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat mempengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupan, salah satunya pada bidang pendidikan. Teknologi memiliki peran penting dalam dunia pendidikan dalam rangka meningkatkan dan mencapai tujuan pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan : 1) Implementasi teknologi dalam dunia pendidikan di masa pandemi Covid-19 dan 2) Integrasi teknologi dalam dunia pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui metode telesurvei menggunakan kuisioner yang dilaksanakan pada bulan April 2021. Populasi penelitian dilakukan ke seluruh warga negara Indonesia diatas 17 tahun yang tersebar di 34 provinsi. Sampel penelitian yang terpilih sebanyak 1000 responden yang dipilih dengan dengan teknik multistage random sampling. Analisis data dilaksanakan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) 65,7% publik berpendapat pembelajaran dalam jaringan (daring) belum dilaksanakan secara efektif. Sebagian orang tua berharap bahwa pembelajaran tatap muka segera dilaksanakan karena pembelajaran daring kurang maksimal, siswa mulai mengeluh belajar daring, tren penyebaran covid-19 mulai menurun, dan sudah ada vaksin. Sebagian orang tua tidak setuju karena angka penyebaran covid-19 masih tinggi, vaksinasi belum merata, siswa lebih senang belajar dari rumah, dan siswa lebih rentan tertular covid-19. 2) sebanyak 64,7% publik menyatakan bahwa teknologi perlu diterapkan dalam pendidikan dan sebanyak 66,0% publik berpendapat bahwa pendidikan terintegrasi teknologi merupakan kebutuhan penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan nasional

    IDENTIFIKASI JENIS KESULITAN MEMBACA PADA SISWA KELAS RENDAH SEKOLAH DASAR

    Reading is a fundamental ability for students to be able to follow learning at school. The ability to read is very necessary in learning in the classroom. But today there are still elementary school students who incidentally were already able to read the beginning, but in reality they are still not. It is feared that it will hinder the learning process in class. Based on the background of this problem, the researcher wanted to observe students with reading difficulties at the lower grade level at SDN Polokarto 01. Based on the teacher's report when the researcher attended the Teaching Campus program, the reason the researcher chose this location was because students were still found to have reading difficulties and the school was included in the 3t area. The purpose of this research is a. identified many students with reading difficulties at SDN Polokarto 01, b. knowing the factors that influence students having reading difficulties at SDN Polokarto 01, c. know the efforts to overcome reading difficulties in students at SDN Polokarto 01, and d. find out the teacher's difficulties in guiding students with reading difficulties. From the objectives above, the researcher will provide suggestions for solving the problem. The research method is descriptive qualitative with data collection through observation of students who have reading difficulties, interviews with class teachers and based on documentation of student assessment results. There were 9 students who had reading difficulties. The problems experienced by students are quite varied, students in grades 1, 2, 3. AbstrakMembaca merupakan kemampuan yang mendasar bagi peserta didik untuk dapat mengikuti pembelajaran di sekolah. Kemampuan membaca sangat diperlukan dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Namun dewasa ini masih ditemukan siswa Sekolah Dasar yang notabenenya sudah mampu membaca permulaan tetapi pada kenyataannya masih belum. Hal tersebut dikhawatirkan akan menghambat proses pembelajaran saat di kelas. Berdasarkan latar belakang permasalahan tersebut peneliti hendak mengamati siswa berkesulitan membaca jenjang kelas rendah di SDN Polokarto 01. Berdasarkan laporan guru saat peneliti mengikuti program Kampus Mengajar, alasan peneliti mengambil lokasi tersebut karena masih ditemukan siswa yang mengalami berkesulitan membaca dan sekolah termasuk daerah 3t. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu a. mengindentifikasi banyak siswa berkesulitan membaca di SDN Polokarto 01, b. mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi siswa mengalami berkesulitan membaca di SDN Polokarto 01, c. megetahui upaya untuk mengatasi berkesulitan membaca pada siswa di SDN Polokarto 01, dan d. mengetahui kesulitan guru dalam pembimbingan siswa berkesulitan membaca. Dari tujuan di atas peneliti akan memberikan saran pemecaham pada persoalan tersebut. Adapun metode penelitian yaitu kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi siswa yang mengalami berkesulitan membaca, wawancara dengan guru kelas dan berdasarkan dokumentasi hasil penilaian siswa. Diperoleh 9 siswa yang mengalami berkesulitan membaca. Masalah yang dialami oleh siswa cukup bervariasi, siswa kelas 1, 2, 3

    THE EFFECTIVENESS OF ICT UTILIZATION ON COGNITIVE ACHIEVEMENT IN THE VOCATIONAL EDUCATION DURING THE COVID-19 OUTBREAK IN INDONESIA

    In the current Covid-19 transition period, it is very necessary to use innovative vocational learning models in digital models. The number of vocational learning models using ICT as the main tool during the pandemic needs to be studied further on how the model is implemented and its effectiveness. The problem that arises is that we do not know whether the use of ICT tools in vocational learning is effectively used. This study aims to empirically verify the effectiveness of ICT in vocational education learning during the Covid-19 transition period. Meta-Analysis is used as a method to conduct this research. There are 30 latest articles reviewed during the year of 2020 to 2021. All articles are classified based on the author, year of publication, the ICT device or application used, and the results of the post-test experimental and control classes. The results are obtained after the calculation using the effect size (ES) formula. The calculation results show that the learning using ICT as a tool during the Covid-19 pandemic has a high effect (1.28) on cognitive achievement in vocational education. The conclusion of this study is that ICT-assisted learning has a high level of effectiveness and is suitable for learning in the vocational field. Then, the dominant multimedia device or application used in the vocational learning in Indonesia is the computer technology network and it is the most widely used for the application of ICT in learning

    ONLINE LEARNING FOR ISLAMIC EDUCATION IN THE INSAN MADANI INTEGRATED ISLAMIC JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL 8 TANGERANG SELATAN DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC: A CASE STUDY

    The objective of this research was to analyze the impact of implementing online learning from home during the Covid-19 pandemic, especially for Islamic Education subject matter. The research was conducted at SMP Islam Terpadu Insan Madani 8 Jurangmangu, Tangerang Selatan-Banten, one of the Islamic Junior Secondary Schools at Jurangmangu, Tangerang Selatan, Banten. The research was conducted in a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The study indicated that the online-based learning during the Covid-19 pandemic was carried out quite well following the government circular letters No. 4/2020 and No.15 of 2020. Some obstacles faced are unstable internet signals and limited facilities. Some examples of the obstacles were (1) the use of one smartphone for online learning in a family, so they had to take turns with siblings at home, (2) teachers had difficulty in providing practical learning materials, and (3) some parents had difficulties in operating gadgets and explaining the Islamic Education materials to their children. Some solutions in overcoming these obstacles were (1) to make changes to the online learning platform so that easier for parents to facilitate their children to learn from home, and (2) to provide internet credit subsidies by providing tuition waivers by 33%

    PENINGKATAN LITERASI INDONESIA MELALUI BUKU ELEKTRONIK

    Various surveys show that the reading literacy of students in Indonesia is still relatively low. One of the contributing factors is the lack of reading books. This research was conducted using a literature review method to analyze the advantages of electronic books in an effort to improve literacy in Indonesia. This study focuses on aspects of: (1) student literacy in Indonesia; (2) the familiarity of generation Z students to electronic-based reading materials; (3) definition, content, and advantages of e-books; and (4) infrastructure and utilization of electronic books. The results of the study show that electronic books can be used to encourage the improvement of reading literacy and digital literacy in Indonesia, especially for Generation Z. One of the supporting factors is the familiarity factor of Generation Z towards electronic-based reading materials. In addition, e-books also have many advantages, including being more attractive, easier to distribute, accessible anywhere, and easier to reproduce or duplicate. The use of electronic books as a means of increasing literacy in Indonesia is also supported by the government in preparing or developing digital reading materials and equitable internet access throughout Indonesia. AbstrakBerbagai survei menunjukkan bahwa literasi membaca siswa di Indonesia masih relatif rendah. Salah satu faktor penyebabnya adalah kurangnya buku bacaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kajian literatur untuk menganalisis keunggulan buku elektronik dalam upaya meningkatkan literasi di Indonesia. Kajian ini difokuskan pada aspek: (1) literasi siswa di Indonesia; (2) familiarity siswa generasi Z terhadap bahan bacaan berbasis elektronik; (3) definisi, konten, dan keunggulan buku elektronik; dan (4) infrastruktur dan pemanfaatan buku elektronik. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa buku elektronik dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mendorong peningkatan literasi membaca dan literasi digital di Indonesia, khususnya untuk generasi Z. Salah satu faktor pendukungnya adalah faktor familiarity generasi Z terhadap bahan bacaan berbasis elektronik. Selain itu, buku elektronik juga memiliki banyak keunggulan di antaranya adalah lebih menarik, lebih mudah didistribusikan, dapat diakses di mana saja, dan lebih mudah diperbanyak atau digandakan. Pemanfaatan buku elektronik sebagai sarana peningkatan literasi di Indonesia juga didukung pemerintah dalam menyiapkan atau mengembangkan bahan bacaan digital dan pemerataan akses internet ke seluruh wilayah Indonesia
