Assessing the Impact of Reflective Practice on Teachers’ Professional Practices: A Case Study in Selected Ghanaian school
This study investigates the impact of reflective practice on the professional practices and reflective thinking levels of science teachers in Senior High Schools and Senior High Technical Schools in Ghana. The research aims to assess how reflective practice influences teachers' engagement with professional standards, such as planning and preparation, instruction, classroom environment, and professional responsibility. A mixed-methods approach was used, combining quantitative data from a structured questionnaire and qualitative analysis of teachers' written reflections. A total of 51 science teachers from three schools participated, representing urban, peri-urban, and rural settings. The results showed that reflective practice had an average impact on planning and preparation, instruction, and classroom environment, but a low impact on professional responsibility. Most teachers engaged in reflective practices at the "Habitual Action" and "Understanding Reflection" levels, with none reaching the "Critical Reflection" stage. The study highlights the need for further support in developing deeper reflective practices, particularly critical reflection, to improve teaching effectiveness and foster professional growth. The findings suggest that schools should integrate structured reflection opportunities into teacher evaluations and offer professional development focused on fostering transformative reflective practices for sustained improvement in teaching and learning outcomes
Pengaruh Infrastruktur Sekolah terhadap Prestasi Belajar Siswa
The study aims to analyze the influence of school infrastructure on students’ academic achievement. The issue of education quality involves many factors, one of which is the lack of adequate school infrastructure to achieve the goals of the learning process. The research employed a quantitative method using a linear regression model with the help of JASP (Jeffrey’s Amazing Statistics Program) version 0.16.30. The data were obtained from the 2018 PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment) results, focusing on the relationship between inadequate school infrastructure and students’ learning outcomes. The findings of the study indicate that school infrastructure has an effect on academic achievement in the 2018 PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment) results. It was concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between school infrastructure and students’ academic achievement, thus the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. In this context, school infrastructure serves as a facility that directly supports the educational process in achieving its goals. The completeness of facilities in a school supports the learning process, enabling students to optimize their thinking abilities, which in turn positively impacts their academic achievement
The Development of the FAP (Formative Assessment Platform) to Promote Holistic Student Competency Development: An Empirical Study in 100 Schools
This research aims to 1) develop the Formative Assessment Platform (FAP) to assess and enhance learners' competencies, and 2) evaluate the effectiveness of the FAP platform in fostering students' competencies across 100 schools in four provinces of Thailand: Surin, Sa Kaeo, Krabi, and Lampang. The FAP platform enables teachers to monitor student behaviors, record data, and provide personalized feedback, targeting four core competencies: critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study employed a pre-test and post-test design with quantitative data from 197 teachers and 2,454 students. Qualitative data were gathered through semi-structured interviews with teachers. The results show that teachers were highly satisfied with the FAP platform (average satisfaction score of 4.54 out of 5), particularly in terms of ease of use (4.71) and perceived benefits (4.65). Students demonstrated significant competency development, especially in collaboration (effect size = 0.71) and creativity (effect size = 0.65), with an overall effect size of 0.57. The study recommends scaling up the FAP platform to further enhance Thai education quality by improving teacher training, supporting the integration of the platform, and developing competency-focused curricula. Future research should explore the long-term impact of FAP on student outcomes, compare its effectiveness with other platforms, and investigate factors influencing its sustained use

The 21st century is marked by rapid advancements in globalization, information technology, and communication, which have brought significant changes to the world of education. Technology also plays a role in renewing our understanding of learning, which has now evolved from simply delivering information to guiding exploration of social and cultural aspects. This study aims to explore multimedia-based Hadith research, particularly in relation to film and animation media, examining the reception of Hadith in a modern context. The research conducted is of a literature-based type, involving both primary and secondary data collection. Primary data is gathered through films, television shows, and animations focusing on mapping multimedia-based Hadith research, while secondary data is drawn from relevant literature. Data collection techniques include document study and content analysis, enabling the exploration of social and cultural messages within the media. The findings indicate that television series and animated films, such as Nussa Rara, Culapculip, and Omar Hana, have become popular platforms for spreading Hadith messages, particularly on YouTube channels. Meanwhile, the phenomenon of feature films, such as Ipar Adalah Maut, further proves that Hadith remains relevant and accessible in various media formats. Thus, multimedia-based Hadith research plays an important role in expanding public knowledge and understanding of Hadith in a modern context
Manajemen Peningkatan Mutu Kurikulum Melalui K13 Dan Kurikulum Merdeka
This article aims to examine in depth the management in improving the quality of the curriculum through the approach of the 2013 Curriculum (K13) and the Independent Curriculum. The method used in this study is a literature review (library research) by examining various academic sources, such as journals, books, and relevant education policy documents. The analysis focuses on how curriculum management is applied in the two curricula to answer the challenges of education quality in the global era. K13 offers a scientific learning approach and the strengthening of authentic assessments, while the Merdeka Curriculum gives freedom to educational units in designing contextual and student-centred learning. The results of the study show that the effectiveness of improving curriculum quality is highly dependent on strategic planning, adaptive implementation, and continuous evaluation in the curriculum management framework. Thus, strengthening managerial capacity at the level of educational institutions is a key factor in realizing a transformation of a quality curriculum that is relevant to the needs of the times
Tinjauan Yuridis Penyalahgunaan Data Pribadi Oleh Penyedia Jasa Telekomunikasi
This study investigates the legal implications of personal data misuse by telecommunication service providers, specifically in the context of prepaid SIM card registration without the data owner’s consent and the distribution of starter packs that are already active prior to consumer acquisition. Employing a normative juridical approach with a statutory perspective, the research is anchored on Law No. 8 of 1999 on Consumer Protection and Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection. The study finds that unauthorized utilization of the National Identity Number (NIK) and Family Card Number (KK) infringes upon consumer privacy rights and may result in both material and immaterial losses. While telecommunication providers have implemented complaint handling procedures and compensation mechanisms, these measures remain insufficient to fully protect consumer data. The study emphasizes the necessity for stricter regulatory oversight, increased consumer legal awareness, and proactive compliance from service providers to ensure the confidentiality, security, and proper handling of personal data in line with statutory requirement
