Modernitas dan Tantangan Perkembangan Pemikiran Islam di Indonesia
Modernity is an inevitable reality and part of the natural order (sunnatullah) that must be accepted and addressed by every society, including the Muslim community. This article examines the response of Islamic thought to the challenges of modernity, particularly in the context of Indonesia. It argues that Islam, as both a religion and a cultural system, offers its own framework for engaging with modern developments. Various Islamic thinkers have contributed significantly to shaping this discourse. Prominent figures from the Middle East such as Sayyid Qutb, Hasan al-Banna, Khomeini, Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd, Mohammed Arkoun, and Hassan Hanafi have influenced global Islamic thought. In Indonesia, the development of Islamic ideas in response to modernity is reflected in the works of intellectuals such as Nurcholish Madjid, Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur), and Ulil Abshar Abdalla. This paper focuses on the evolution of Islamic liberalism in Indonesia as a contextual response to modernity, highlighting how local Islamic thought seeks to reconcile faith with contemporary realities.
 
Manajemen Pembiayaan Peningkatan Kualitas Kinerja Tenaga Kependidikan Sekolah Dasar Negeri
Educational finance management plays a strategic role in enhancing the performance quality of educational personnel. As an integral part of the education system, educational personnel require adequate financial support to improve their competencies, welfare, and work productivity. This study aims to examine the concept of financial management in the context of improving the quality of educational personnel. The research method employed is a literature review supported by field-based research, analyzing various academic sources related to educational finance management, budget management strategies, and their impact on the performance of educational personnel at UPTD SD Negeri Lombang Dajah 2. The findings indicate that the effectiveness of financing is highly dependent on performance-based planning, the optimization of resources, and transparent and accountable evaluation. Furthermore, the main challenges in financial management include limited budgets, inefficient fund distribution, and the lack of needs-based evaluation for educational personnel. Therefore, a more structured and competency-oriented financial policy is necessary. The implications of this study are expected to serve as a reference for policymakers in designing sustainable and effective financing strategies to support the development of educational personnel within the education system.
 
Supervisory Strategies for Teacher Improvement in Islamic Education: Examining the Practices and Challenges
This study examines the supervisory strategies employed in two Islamic educational institutions, MA Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Tebuireng and MA Perguruan Mualimat Jombang, to enhance teacher competencies in various aspects such as pedagogy, professionalism, and personal development. Using a qualitative, multisite approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research reveals that academic supervision plays a significant role in improving the teachers' instructional planning, teaching methods, and evaluation processes. However, challenges such as time constraints, limited resources, and inconsistent supervision practices were identified. While both madrasahs share common supervisory strategies, such as regular feedback and peer collaboration, they differ in their intensity and resources for implementation. This study highlights the need for a more structured and resource-backed approach to academic supervision to overcome existing barriers and ensure sustainable teacher development. The findings contribute to the understanding of effective supervisory practices in Islamic education, emphasizing the importance of leadership and contextual strategies for teacher improvement
Peran Partisipasi Masyarakat dalam Monitoring dan Evaluasi Dampak Lingkungan Akibat Limbah Industri di Indonesia
This study examines the importance of community participation in monitoring and evaluating the environmental impacts of industrial waste in Indonesia. Rapid industrial growth has led to environmental pollution that threatens health and ecosystems. Although regulations such as the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) mandate community involvement, its implementation is often symbolic and ineffective. This study used a literature review with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected from various academic sources and policy reports to understand the forms of community participation, its benefits, and the obstacles encountered. The results show that approaches such as Community-Based Monitoring (CBM) and Citizen Science can empower communities to directly and credibly monitor environmental conditions. This participation has been shown to increase transparency, accountability, and trust among stakeholders. This study confirms that community participation is a crucial element in equitable and sustainable environmental management. To strengthen it, legal support, community capacity building, access to resources, and the use of technology are needed. Participation needs to be transformed from a mere formality into a real force that drives industry towards more responsible practices
Distingsi Konseptual Etika, Moral, Nilai, dan Estetika serta Fondasi Normatif Etika Islam
This study aims to provide a conceptual and philosophical analysis of the distinctions between ethics, morals, values, and aesthetics, while also formulating the normative foundations of Islamic ethics as an integrative ethical system. Employing a qualitative approach with a library research method, the study critically examines both classical and contemporary literature in Western philosophy and Islamic thought. A conceptual-comparative analysis was applied to identify similarities, differences, and intersections among these terms. The findings reveal that ethics represents a normative reflection on human actions, morals relate to socially accepted norms, values serve as guiding principles of behavior, and aesthetics emphasizes the dimension of beauty in art and conduct. Within the Islamic perspective, these concepts are comprehensively integrated, with revelation (the Qur’an and Sunnah) serving as the ultimate foundation. Islamic ethics is characterized as theocentric, holistic, and oriented toward both worldly and eternal well-being. Its core principles include tawhid (monotheism), justice, enjoining good and forbidding evil, and tazkiyat al-nafs (self-purification). Thus, this study affirms that Islamic ethics is not only normative but also practical and highly relevant as a moral framework in addressing contemporary global challenges and the dynamics of modern civilization
Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Interaktif Berbasis Canva untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SD Islam Terpadu Darul Falah Kertosono Nganjuk
Pengembangan Multimedia Pembelajaran Interaktif Aplikasi Canva Kelas III di SD Islam Terpadu Darul Falah Kertosono Nganjuk atas dasar fenomena yang ada di sekolah yakni belum optimalnya penggunaan media pembelajaran, dikarenakan lebih fokus pada penguasaan kelas, dalam proses pembelajaran masih terbatas menggunakan LKS sebagai media pembelajaran.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Mendeskripsikan pengembangan Multimedia Pembelajaran Interaktif Aplikasi Canva materi Kisah Nabi Ibrahim kelas III (2) Mendeskripsikan hasil uji coba Media Pembelajaran Interaktif Aplikasi Canva materi Kisah Nabi Ibrahim kelas III Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Darul Falah Kertosono Nganjuk tahun ajaran 2023/2024.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) dengan desain penelitian R&D (Research & Development). Peneliti berfokus pada pengembangan media berbasis canva untuk memenuhi kebutuhan siswa, teknik pengumpalan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan angket, sedangkan analisis data yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif, subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 12 siswa.
Hasil penelitian secara umum menunjukkan skor dari uji validasi ahli media 93%, uji validasi ahli materi 94%, respon siswa terhadap media 95%, pada uji coba memperoleh 98% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik dimana siswa memahami materi dan mampu menggunakan media, serta respon guru kelas terhadap media 98%. Dengan demikian Multimedia Pembelajaran Interaktif Aplikasi Canva sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran
Peran Pegadaian Syariah Dalam Inklusi Keuangan Masyarakat Indonesia: Studi Literatur Tentang Aksesibilitas Layanan Pembiayaan Berbasis Gadai
This study examines the strategic role of Islamic Pawnshops in expanding financial inclusion for Indonesian society through pawn-based financing services. The research employs a qualitative approach with literature study analyzing various sources including scientific journal articles, research reports, and official financial institution publications from 2021-2025. Thematic content analysis was applied to identify patterns, relationships, and main themes related to Islamic pawn service accessibility. Research findings indicate that Islamic Pawnshops contribute significantly to improving financial service accessibility for underserved segments of society, particularly low-income groups and micro, small, and medium enterprise actors. Implementation of rahn contract principles emphasizing justice and transparency without usury elements becomes the main advantage in attracting people who have preferences for Islamic financial products. Digital transformation through online service platform innovation and Gold Bank products has expanded geographical reach and increased operational efficiency. However, challenges such as low digital literacy and limited technology infrastructure remain obstacles that need to be addressed. This research recommends strengthening Islamic financial education programs, developing transparent marketing strategies, and inter-institutional collaboration to optimize the role of Islamic Pawnshops in realizing an inclusive and equitable financial system in Indonesia
Kontekstualisasi Dan Aktualisasi Pendidikan Islam Di Era Kontemporer (Suatu Tinjauan Filsafat Pendidikan Islam)
This study discusses the process of contextualization and actualization of Islamic education in the contemporary era from the perspective of the philosophy of Islamic education, particularly based on Abdul Wahid’s thought. The era of globalization, digitalization, and secularization of values demands that Islamic education remain relevant without losing its foundational principles. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach through philosophical literature review, this study examines the ontological, epistemological, and axiological aspects of Islamic education. The results show that Islamic education can be contextualized through the reinterpretation of Islamic values to suit modern social and technological dynamics and actualized through the application of moral, spiritual, and social values in educational practice. This process positions Islamic education not merely as knowledge transmission but as a means of forming insān kāmil—a complete human being who is civilized, knowledgeable, and able to balance modernity with spirituality. Thus, Islamic education serves as a transformative force in developing creative, adaptive, and competitive Muslim generation
Adapting the Education 5.0 Framework for Islamic Education
The Society 5.0 era demands a paradigm shift in education—including Islamic education—that can address disruptive challenges without eroding its identity. This study aims to develop a conceptual framework for quality management in Islamic education by integrating the principles of Education 5.0. Employing a qualitative approach through library research, it critically analyzes the points of convergence between the foundational values of Islamic education and the Education 5.0 framework. The study proposes the P–I–M–T (Philosophical–Infrastructural–Managerial–Technopedagogical) model as an integrative solution. The model emphasizes the integration of Islamic values (ihsan, itqan, muhasabah, mas’uliyyah) as the philosophical foundation (Philosophical); the strengthening of the digital ecosystem as enabling infrastructure (Infrastructural); the implementation of quality assurance systems and transformational leadership as managerial pillars (Managerial); and the development of an integrative curriculum and adaptive pedagogy grounded in an Islamic TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) perspective as the technopedagogical component (Technopedagogical). The findings affirm that this model addresses not only operational and technical challenges, but also serves as a cultural strategy to preserve Islamic identity while responding proactively to the demands of the digital era. Accordingly, the study contributes to strengthening the positioning and competitiveness of Islamic education within an increasingly dynamic global educational landscape
Contribution of Tahfidz Al-Qur’an Program to Qur’an Hadith Learning Achievement at MTsN 10 Nganjuk
This study examines the contribution of the Tahfidz Al-Qur’an Program to Qur’an Hadith learning achievement at MTsN 10 Nganjuk. The research background is based on the importance of integrating Qur’anic memorization programs to improve students’ achievement, particularly in subjects directly related to Qur’anic content. This research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The population consisted of all 36 students of class VIII B, selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data for variable X were obtained from the Tahfidz Program questionnaire, while variable Y was taken from Qur’an Hadith report card scores. Data analysis included validity and reliability tests, descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, and simple linear regression using SPSS version 18. The results showed that the Tahfidz Program was in the moderate category (average score of 70 out of 80), while learning achievement was in the good category (average score of 83.17). Regression analysis revealed a positive and significant influence, with a significance value of 0.008 (< 0.05) and a coefficient of determination of 0.19. Thus, the Tahfidz Program contributed 19% to Qur’an Hadith learning achievement.
