Reconciliation Amongst Islamic-Based Groups as a Solution to the Tolerance Issue and the Accomplishment of Religious Moderation in Indonesia
(Salafi) secst in several Indonesian cities reflect a fundamental tolerance problem that endangers harmony and social stability in Indonesia's multicultural society. This study aims to explore ways to bridge differing perspectives on religious tolerance, which can serve as a solid foundation for the development of a peaceful and respectful Indonesian society, as well as to be prepared to encounter future problems of religious tolerance crisis. This research uses a systematic literature review method. Data collection is conducted through the examination of various written sources such as books, scientific articles, research journals, and documents relevant to the research topic. Data analysis is carried out by reviewing, comparing, and integrating information from various bibliographic sources to understand the root of the problem and formulate a comprehensive solution. Findings indicate that Aswaja and Salafi are Indonesia's two primary sects of Islam, with distinct approaches and ideas. Aswaja is more moderate, valuing ijtihad and scientific heritage, whilst Salafi is more literate, condemning heresy and local traditions. Differences in beliefs and convictions, identity politics, extremism, hoaxes, and the lack of tolerance education are factors of conflict between these two streams. Reconciliation efforts can be carried out by integrating local wisdom into interfaith dialogue, involving local figures in education and outreach, fostering collaboration between community-based regions, applying moderation values in social and religious activities, and developing educational programs that are sensitive to local diversity, and involving both the community and the government. The moderation of religious thought is very important in the contemporary era to create harmony and unity, counter extremist ideologies, support interfaith dialogue and social development, maintain the relevance of religious teachings, and promote social integration and diversity
Penguatan Moderasi Beragama Mahasiswa melalui Kegiatan Tutorial Keagamaan di Perguruan Tinggi Umum
This study aims to analyze the strengthening of religious moderation of students through religious tutorials at state universities to ward off radicalism. The research method uses a sequential design of mixed method explanation. Quantitative data was collected by random sampling with a sample of 809 people. Qualitative data was conducted by interviews using purposive sampling to a number of related parties, observation records, dan documentation studies. The average score of religious moderation after participating in tutorial activities was higher than the average score of religious moderation of students before participating in religious tutorial activities. This finding is supported by the results of a significant t-test (sig. 0.000). The dimension of religious moderation that experienced the largest increase was national commitment (4.29%), followed by accommodating to local culture (3.60%), non-violence (3.37%), dan tolerance (3.12%). This increase is influenced by the internalization of values dan examples from lecturers, tutors, dan fellow students. However, most students only showed a low increase in moderation due to having had a prior understanding of religion dan the constraints of the absence of tutors during mentoring. This research emphasizes the importance of the role of religious tutorials in shaping students' religious moderation attitudes

Across Seas and Cultures: The Hajj Journeys of Sulu Muslims and Their Malay World Parallels
This research explores the maritime Hajj journeys of Sulu Muslims and their connection to the cultural and religious dynamics of the broader Malay world. The maritime pilgrimage, especially within the context of Sulu Muslims, remains largely underexplored in existing literature, highlighting a significant research gap in understanding Muslim-minority religious practices. This study aims to address this gap by examining how the maritime Hajj journey impacts Sulu Muslims, a minority in a Catholic-majority country, and their Malay counterparts. Using a qualitative approach, primary sources such as oral histories from pilgrims and archival records uncover the cultural, religious, and social dimensions of these journeys. The research highlights key themes such as the challenges of maritime travel, the role of religious networks, and cultural exchanges during the pilgrimage. The findings reveal that the Hajj not only fulfills a religious duty but also fosters cross-regional identity and solidarity among Muslims in the Sulu Archipelago and Southeast Asia. The study concludes that the Hajj serves as both a spiritual endeavor and a platform for cultural continuity and interregional unity, influencing societal transformation. By capturing these aspects, the research aims to enrich understanding of the Hajj as a multifaceted phenomenon, emphasizing the enduring significance of maritime routes in shaping Southeast Asia’s religious and cultural landscapes
Metaphysics of Yoga in the Gheranda Samhita Scripture
The background of this research is that, apart from interpreting the verses related to God and yoga practice contextually, it also aims to analyse the metaphysics of yoga in the Gheranda Samhita book so that the knowledge gained by academics and yoga practitioners is more comprehensive. Metaphysics is full of discussions relating to God, the soul, eschatology, and illusory things. Moreover, if you study it using the postulates in a script as a limitation to sharpen the perspective that will be born, one script that can be used as a reference for understanding the dimensions of metaphysics is the Gheranda Samhita. Through descriptive qualitative methods, using hermeneutic theory, this research found the following findings: First, apart from Shiva as an aspect of God's representation as described in the Gheranda Samhita script, there are still other aspects of God that can represent His greatness. Second, it is through soul awareness that humans can achieve perfect awareness in living life. Third, there are no shackles like Maya, the term which is identified with the words illusion or bondage. Fourth, karma: actions in life. Fifth, Ahamkara, is another term for ego, and Sixth, Brahman and its Prakrti activities
The Suicide Phenomenon and Its Treatment in the Islamic Psycho-Spiritual Perspective
Suicide is one of the leading causes of death. The suicide phenomenon in 2023 continues to increase both nationally and internationally. This phenomenon is directly compared to the increasing problems experienced by individuals both internally and externally. This condition needs intensive attention from the public. This study needs to be further studied by public welfare policymakers, social workers, and educators. This article was written to answer two questions. First, how do we map the triggers of suicide behaviour? Second, how does Islam’s psycho-spiritual analysis deal with the problem of suicide? The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with literature studies supported by up-to-date data with verification and proof from various psychological, social, and religious perspectives. The study is expected to contribute to the understanding of suicide triggers, both internal and external, as well as its tactical approach to Islamic psycho-spirituality. Islamic psycho-spirituality is a treatment that involves self-integration from a psychological perspective that affects thoughts, feelings, and behaviour. The prevention of suicide behaviour from a psycho-spiritual perspective can be done with tarbiyyah ruhaniyyah and spiritual groups.

Vertical relations with the Ultimate Reality always get their continuity in good horizontal relations with others
