Metodologi Hukum Islam: Studi tentang Integrasi Wahyu, Sunnah, dan Ketetapan Nabi Muhammad SAW dalam Pengembangan Hukum
This article discusses Islamic legal methodology as a framework for understanding and applying law derived from revelation, Sunnah, and the Prophetic approval (Taqrīr) in an integrated manner. Revelation provides fundamental principles and moral guidance, while the Sunnah details practical aspects of general provisions, and the Prophetic approval affirms social practices consistent with Sharia. The integration of these three sources enables Islamic law to be applied consistently, flexibly, and in a manner relevant to the evolving life of Muslim communities. A comprehensive understanding of revelation, Sunnah, and Prophetic approval ensures legal consistency and legitimacy, while also providing guidance for the performance of worship and social interactions. This approach emphasizes that Islamic law is not only normative but also practical, adaptive, and contextual. Consequently, an integrative Islamic legal methodology serves as a foundation for bridging normative principles with real-world practice, ensuring that the law remains relevant while guiding the moral, social, and spiritual life of the community across time.Artikel ini membahas metodologi hukum Islam sebagai kerangka untuk memahami dan menerapkan hukum dari wahyu, sunnah, dan ketetapan Nabi Muhammad SAW secara terpadu. Wahyu memberikan prinsip dasar dan pedoman moral, sementara sunnah menjabarkan rincian praktis dari ketentuan yang bersifat umum, dan ketetapan Nabi menegaskan praktik sosial yang sesuai syariat. Integrasi ketiganya memungkinkan hukum Islam diterapkan secara konsisten, fleksibel, dan relevan dengan perkembangan kehidupan umat Muslim. Pemahaman terpadu terhadap wahyu, sunnah, dan ketetapan Nabi menjaga konsistensi dan legitimasi hukum, sekaligus memberikan pedoman untuk pelaksanaan ibadah dan interaksi sosial. Pendekatan ini menekankan bahwa hukum Islam tidak hanya bersifat normatif, tetapi juga aplikatif, adaptif, dan kontekstual. Dengan demikian, metodologi hukum Islam yang integratif menjadi fondasi untuk menjembatani prinsip normatif dan praktik nyata, memastikan hukum tetap relevan, membimbing moral, sosial, dan spiritual umat sepanjang zaman
MEMUKUL WAJAH DALAM PERSPEKTIF HADIS DAN RELEVANSINYA DENGAN BUDAYA SUKU MANDAR
This article examines the prohibition of striking the face from the perspective of ḥadīth using the ma‘ānī al-ḥadīth approach and its relevance to Mandar culture. The objectives of this study are to examine the authenticity of the ḥadīth concerning the prohibition of striking the face, analyze its semantic meanings, and explain its relevance to Mandar cultural values. This research employs a qualitative method based on library research. The analytical framework applies the ma‘ānī al-ḥadīth approach through three interpretive methods: textual, intertextual, and contextual interpretation, integrated with a cultural studies approach. In addition, ḥadīth takhrīj methods are employed to trace and assess the authenticity of the ḥadīth under study. The findings indicate that the ḥadīth transmitted through the sanad of Imām Aḥmad ibn Ḥanbal is classified as ṣaḥīḥ li-dhātihi, as it fulfills all criteria of authenticity. Textually and intertextually, the ḥadīth demonstrates a firm prohibition against all forms of violence, while contextually it encompasses both physical and verbal violence. This prohibition is consistent with Mandar cultural values that uphold siri’, emphasizing the protection of human dignity and honor.Artikel ini membahas larangan memukul wajah dalam perspektif hadis dengan pendekatan ma‘ānī al-ḥadīṡ serta relevansinya dengan budaya suku Mandar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji kualitas hadis larangan memukul wajah, menganalisis kandungan maknanya, dan menjelaskan relevansinya dengan nilai budaya Mandar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif berbasis studi kepustakaan (library research). Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah ilmu ma‘ānī al-ḥadīṡ melalui tiga metode interpretasi, yaitu tekstual, intertekstual, dan kontekstual, yang dipadukan dengan pendekatan ilmu budaya. Selain itu, digunakan metode takhrīj hadis untuk menelusuri dan menilai autentisitas hadis yang menjadi objek kajian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hadis larangan memukul wajah melalui jalur sanad Imam Aḥmad bin Ḥanbal berkualitas ṣaḥīḥ liżatihi karena memenuhi kriteria kesahihan hadis. Secara tekstual dan intertekstual, hadis ini menunjukkan larangan tegas terhadap segala bentuk kekerasan, sedangkan secara kontekstual mencakup kekerasan fisik maupun verbal. Larangan tersebut sejalan dengan budaya suku Mandar yang menjunjung nilai siri’ dalam menjaga kehormatan dan martabat manusia
The Relationship between Mothering Patterns and the Incidence of Stunting: A Literature Review
Stunting is one of the global health issues that remains a major challenge, especially in developing countries such as Indonesia. Although its prevalence has decreased slightly from 21.6% in 2022 to 21.5% in 2023, this figure is still far from the national target of 14%. Stunting is caused by chronic malnutrition and recurrent infections, especially during the first 1,000 days of life (HPK). One of the factors contributing to stunting is maternal parenting, particularly in terms of nutritional fulfillment, psychosocial stimulation, and child care. This study aims to review the relationship between maternal parenting styles and the incidence of stunting through a literature review approach. The method used is a qualitative descriptive study by examining 10 quantitative research articles with a cross-sectional design selected from Google Scholar and PubMed based on inclusion criteria. The results show that most articles state that there is a significant relationship between maternal parenting and the incidence of stunting. Democratic and responsive parenting contributes to the prevention of stunting, while inappropriate parenting increases the risk. Therefore, strengthening parenting education is an important strategy in efforts to reduce stunting in Indonesia
Legal Analysis of the Appointment of Guardians for the Protection of Minors Based on a Will in Indonesian Civil Law: A Study of Court Decision No. 184/Pdt.G/2022/PN Medan
Minors are legally considered incapable of performing legal acts and therefore require legal protection through guardianship. In civil law, guardianship functions as a substitute for parental authority over children who are not under the care of their parents, including the management of the child’s personal and property interests. One form recognized in Indonesian civil law is testamentary guardianship, namely the appointment of a guardian through a will. However, in practice, the implementation of testamentary guardianship does not always align with the best interest principle of the child, particularly when the guardian’s authority may potentially affect the protection of the child’s rights and assets. This study aims to analyze the legal validity of testamentary guardianship and examine the judge’s legal considerations in determining guardianship in Medan District Court Decision Number 184/Pdt.G/2022/PN.Mdn. The research employs normative legal research using statutory, conceptual, and case approach methods. Primary legal materials include provisions of the Indonesian Civil Code concerning guardianship, while secondary materials consist of legal doctrines and relevant scholarly literature. The findings indicate that the appointment of a guardian through a will is not absolute and must be assessed against the best interest principle. Judges evaluate several factors, including the legal validity of the will, the moral integrity and responsibility of the proposed guardian, and the emotional relationship between the guardian and the child. This article contributes to the development of civil law discourse by highlighting the limitations of testamentary guardianship in practice and emphasizing that guardianship should function primarily as a mechanism of child protection, rather than merely as a legal instrument for controlling or managing the child’s assets
Implementasi Metode Qiroati dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Al-Qur’an di Madrasah Tsanawiyah PPTQ Misbahunnur
This research is motivated by the high rate of Qur'an illiteracy in Indonesia, research data from the College of Qur'anic Sciences (PTIQ) reveals that around 65% of Indonesians are still unable to read the Qur'an, as well as the disconnect between the goals of religious education and the achievement of Qur'anic literacy in schools. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze in depth the implementation of the Qiroati method at Madrasah Tsanawiyah PPTQ Misbahunnur, starting from planning to the factors that influence it. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, where data is collected through observation, interviews with five key informants, and document studies. The findings show that the planning is carried out systematically by involving officially certified teachers (Syahadah) and arranging an intensive study schedule three times a day. The implementation of learning integrates classical and individual approaches (sorogan) as well as the use of measurable teaching aids. This implementation produces significant findings with a success rate of up to 90%, so that students have technical readiness for the tahfizh program. The main supporting factors include teacher professionalism and parental support, while emerging obstacles relate to consistency in Tajweed and the psychological adaptation of new students. In conclusion, the Qiroati method at this institution functions as a holistic and integrated quality assurance (tahsin) system. The success of Quranic literacy depends heavily on the synergy between rigid planning, disciplined implementation, and a rigorous evaluation system.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tingginya angka buta aksara Al-Qur’an di Indonesia, data penelitian dari Perguruan Tinggi Ilmu Qur’an (PTIQ) mengungkapkan bahwa sekitar 65% masyarakat Indonesia masih belum mampu membaca Al-Qur’an, serta adanya diskoneksi antara tujuan pendidikan agama dengan capaian literasi Al-Qur’an di sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis secara mendalam implementasi metode Qiroati di Madrasah Tsanawiyah PPTQ Misbahunnur, mulai dari perencanaan hingga faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara terhadap lima informan kunci, dan studi dokumen. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan dilakukan secara sistematis dengan melibatkan guru bersertifikasi resmi (Syahadah) dan pengaturan jadwal belajar intensif tiga kali sehari. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran mengintegrasikan pendekatan klasikal dan individual (sorogan) serta penggunaan alat peraga yang terukur. Implementasi ini menghasilkan temuan yang signifikan dengan tingkat keberhasilan mencapai 90%, sehingga siswa memiliki kesiapan teknis untuk program tahfizh. Faktor pendukung utama meliputi profesionalisme guru dan dukungan orang tua, sedangkan hambatan yang muncul berkaitan dengan konsistensi tajwid serta adaptasi psikologis siswa baru. Kesimpulannya, metode Qiroati di lembaga ini berfungsi sebagai sistem penjaminan mutu (tahsin) yang holistik dan terintegrasi. Keberhasilan literasi Al-Qur’an tersebut sangat bergantung pada sinkronisasi antara perencanaan yang rigid, pelaksanaan yang disiplin, dan sistem evaluasi yang ketat
Determinants of Postpartum Depression among Mothers at the Kassi-Kassi Community Health Center
Background: Postpartum depression (PPD) affects approximately one in seven postpartum mothers and may lead to serious complications, including impaired child growth, psychotic disorders, and infanticide if left untreated. Data regarding PPD and its associated factors in South Sulawesi Province remain limited.
Objective: This study aimed to determine the relationship between maternal age, occupation, family income, education level, and religiosity among mothers with postpartum depression.
Methods: This study used a quantitative cross-sectional design. A total of 62 postpartum mothers were selected using a random sampling technique. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis. The chi-square test was applied to assess the relationship between independent variables and postpartum depression.
Results: The analysis showed a significant relationship between maternal age and postpartum depression (p = 0.048). Religiosity was also significantly associated with postpartum depression (p = 0.037). No significant relationship was found between family income and postpartum depression (p = 0.731) or between education level and postpartum depression (p = 0.620).
Conclusion: Maternal age and religiosity were significantly associated with postpartum depression, while education level and family income showed no significant association.Satu dari tujuh wanita yang melahirkan, dapat menderita Depresi Postpartum (DPP). DPP yang tidak terobati memiliki berbagai komplikasi seperti terganggunya pertumbuhan anak, gangguan psikotik, sampai pembunuhan terhadap anak sendiri. Dikarenakan masih sedikitnya data mengenai gangguan ini pada wilayah provinsi Sulawesi Selatan serta banyaknya faktor yang berhubungan dengan DPP, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara usia ibu, pekerjaan ibu, pendapatan keluarga, serta Religiusitas pada ibu dengan DPP. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pada penelitian ini, diperolah 62 sampel dengan teknik pengambilan sampel, yaitu random sampling. Kemudian, analisis data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji chi-square. Pada penelitian ini didapatkan hasil p-value sebesar 0,048 (p-value <0,05) pada hubungan antara usia dengan DPP, 0,731 (p-value >0,05) pada hubungan antara pendapatan keluarga dengan DPP, 0,620 (p-value >0,05) pada hubungan antara pendidikan dengan DPP, dan 0,037 (p-value <0,05) pada hubungan antara Religiusitas dengan DPP. Kesimpulan yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara DPP dengan usia dan Religiusitas dengan ibu yang terdiagnosis DPP. Namun tidak didapatkan hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pendidikan ibu serta pendapatan keluarga dengan ibu yang terdiagnosis DPP
WACANA FORUM INTERUM DI INDONESIA: TINJAUAN HAQIQAH DAN MAJAZ TENTANG BUKTI PERNIKAHAN ANTARAGAMA DALAM AL-QUR'AN
Interfaith marriage in Indonesia has become a heated discourse among fuqaha (Islamic legal scholars) and individuals intending to marry, creating tension between the forum internum the guaranteed and inviolable right of individuals and the role of the state in regulating the status quo. This study examines, from a linguistic perspective, the Qur’anic verses that spark debate on interfaith marriage, namely QS. al-Baqarah/2:221, QS. al-Mā'idah/5:5, and QS. al-Mumtaḥanah/60:10, using a normative theological approach grounded in Islamic law combined with analysis of statutory regulations and qawāʿid al-uṣūliyyah. Data were derived from national legislation and primary sources on ḥaqīqah (literal meaning) and majāz (metaphorical meaning), supported by relevant secondary literature. The findings indicate that interfaith marriage remains controversial due to the clash between individual rights and Islamic theological doctrine, as the contested terms al-musyrikāt, ahl al-kitāb, and al-kuffār are understood as ḥaqīqī sharʿiyyah (legally literal expressions), making the prohibition explicit and not open to alternative interpretation; therefore, the study recommends that the government promote inclusive and interactive educational campaigns involving educational institutions, community leaders, and civil society to prevent social divisionPernikahan beda agama di Indonesia menjadi diskursus yang hangat di kalangan para fuqaha dan pihak yang hendak melangsungkannya. Benturan antara forum internum sebagai hak individu yang dijamin dan tidak boleh diintervensi mendapatkan indikasi peran negara dalam mengatur status quo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara gramatikal tentang dalil yang menjadi pemicu lahirnya perdebatan pada terma pernikahan beda agama, yaitu QS. al-Baqarah/2:221, QS. al-Maidah/5:5 dan QS. al-Mumtahanah/60:10. Kerangka penelitian yang digunakan yaitu teologi normatif syar'i dengan pendekatan peraturan perundang-undangan serta qawaid al-ushuliyah. Data penelitian diperoleh dari peraturan perundang-undangan dan literatur haqiqah dan majazi sebagai sumber primer, dan literatur serta dokumen lainnya sebagai data sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pernikahan beda agama di Indonesia merupakan polemik yang mendapatkan diskursus akibat terjadinya benturan antara konsepsi forum internum dan ranah teologis Islam. Kemudian, dalil yang menjadi sumber perdebatan di kalangan para fuqaha yaitu kata al-musyrikati, ahl al-kitab, dan al-kuffar yang merupakan lafaz haqiqi syar'iyyah sehingga praktik pernikahan beda agama tertutup secara jelas dan tidak dapat di-transformasikan ke pemaknaan yang lain, status larangannya. Adapun resolusi yang solutif pada diskursus ini adalah sebaiknya pemerintah menggalakkan aksi resolusi dalam bentuk-bentuk gerakan edukasi pada aspek pendidikan serta keterlibatan kelompok dan tokoh masyarakat tentang kemudharatan pernikahan beda agama, secara inklusif, interaktif, dan harmonis guna menghindari perpecaha
Optimalisasi Pelayanan Perpustakaan Digital di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Sinjai
The development of information technology has driven libraries to transform into digital-based services. The Library and Archives Office of Sinjai Regency introduced the Elfan Bookles Library application in 2020 to facilitate access to digital collections. However, its utilization rate remains low, which raises the need to study how the optimization of digital library services can be achieved. This research is important as it relates to improving public literacy and the effectiveness of technology-based public services. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants were selected purposively, including the head of the office, librarians, and library users directly involved with the digital library service. The data aimed to provide a comprehensive overview of the strategies implemented in optimizing digital services. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, which consists of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. This technique enabled the researcher to identify patterns, challenges, and opportunities for improving the implementation of the Elfan Bookles Library. The findings show that promotional efforts through social media, banners, and direct librarian services have not been maximized due to limited content and lack of regular updates. This has led to the low utilization of the application. The novelty of this study lies in its focus on digital library services at the local government level, providing recommendations for policy development and more effective and efficient practices of digital library services.Keywords: digital library, service optimization, Elfan Bookles, digital literacy.Perkembangan teknologi informasi mendorong perpustakaan untuk bertransformasi ke arah digital. Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Sinjai menghadirkan aplikasi Elfan Bookles Library sejak 2020 untuk mempermudah akses koleksi digital. Namun, tingkat pemanfaatannya masih rendah sehingga perlu dikaji bagaimana optimalisasi pelayanan digital dapat dilakukan. Penelitian ini penting karena berhubungan dengan peningkatan literasi masyarakat serta efektivitas pelayanan publik berbasis teknologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian dipilih secara purposive, meliputi kepala dinas, pustakawan, dan pemustaka yang terkait langsung dengan layanan perpustakaan digital. Data dikumpulkan untuk memperoleh gambaran menyeluruh tentang strategi pelayanan digital yang telah diterapkan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman melalui tahapan pengumpulan, reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik ini memungkinkan peneliti menemukan pola, hambatan, dan peluang perbaikan dari implementasi layanan Elfan Bookles Library. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya promosi melalui media sosial, banner, dan layanan pustakawan belum maksimal akibat keterbatasan konten dan kurangnya pembaruan informasi. Hal ini berdampak pada rendahnya pemanfaatan aplikasi. Temuan ini menghadirkan kebaruan dengan fokus pada layanan digital di tingkat pemerintah daerah serta dapat menjadi rekomendasi bagi pengembangan kebijakan dan praktik layanan perpustakaan digital yang lebih efektif dan optimal
Container-specific pupal productivity for household dengue vector control: A cross-sectional entomological survey in Antang, Makassar, Indonesia
Recent urban dengue programs increasingly move beyond larval indices, yet many interventions still underuse container-specific pupal productivity to prioritize household breeding habitats. This study quantified which domestic containers contribute most to Aedes aegypti pupal output in Antang Village, Makassar, to guide targeted and cost-effective dengue vector control at the family level. A cross-sectional entomological survey was conducted in 100 households selected through proportional multistage sampling. All indoor and outdoor water-holding containers were counted and inspected; larvae and pupae were collected, reared for species confirmation, and analyzed using standard entomological indices and container-specific pupal contributions. Of 724 containers examined, 87 (12%) were larva-positive and 72 (10%) were pupa-positive. The House Index was 43%, the Container Index 12%, and the Breteau Index 87, indicating substantial transmission potential. Pupal production was highly concentrated: buckets (39.92% of containers) accounted for 61.11% of pupae, and bath tanks (6.63%) contributed 18.06%, whereas flowerpots/vases were common (38.26%) but produced only 11.11% of pupae; other container types each contributed ≤4.17%. These findings suggest that stable, longer-retention water habitats disproportionately support development to the pupal stage and likely adult emergence. Targeting household actions to buckets and bath tanks—covering, routine draining and scrubbing, improving water-storage practices, and using larvicide only when emptying is not feasible—should deliver the greatest reduction in adult vectors per unit effort while aligning with Islamic family health values emphasizing cleanliness (ṭahārah), prevention of harm, and shared responsibility
Reconceptualizing Information Literacy as Social Practice Through Project-Based Service Learning in Library and Information Science
Background: The rapid proliferation of digital information has intensified the need for robust information literacy (IL) competencies in higher education. Many Library and Information Science (LIS) curricula rely on decontextualized instructional designs, which often limit students' ability to apply these critical skills within authentic social frameworks.
Purpose: This study evaluates the efficacy of a Project-Based Service Learning (PjBSL) model, developed using the ADDIE instructional framework, in enhancing the applied information literacy outcomes of undergraduate LIS students.
Methods: The researchers employed a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design involving 60 students. Participants were divided into experimental and control cohorts (n = 30 per group). Data were synthesized from expert validation, student practicality surveys, ACRL-aligned performance rubrics, and standardized learning assessments.
Findings: The PjBSL model demonstrated exceptional validity (ICC = 0.922) and high practicality (M = 89.3). Notably, the experimental group showed significant performance gains over the control group (p < 0.001), supported by a remarkably large effect size (d = 2.61).
Originality/Value: The findings indicate that integrating structured community-based projects transforms information literacy from a theoretical exercise into a socially contextualized practice. This research offers a scalable pedagogical shift for LIS education, bridging the gap between classroom instruction and real-world application.
