Cyber-Victimization and Cyberbullying: The Moderator Effects of Emotion Regulation from Perpetrators
No full textCyberbullying is a form of behavior that harms, disrupts, and threatens the safety of other users on social media. Cyberbullying is crucial to explore, considering that most research focuses on victims and less on perpetrators. The present study aimed to examine the role of emotion regulation in moderating cyber-victimization and cyberbullying. This correlational study involved 103 respondents (38 males and 65 females). They are aged 19-24, in the second to fourteenth semesters, and indicated as a perpetrator of social media. Data were collected using the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ) and the Cyberbullying Inventory (CB-I). The data analysis techniques applied in this study were descriptive, correlational, cluster, and regression-based moderator analyses. The moderator analysis used the PROCESS syntax in IBM SPSS. This study showed that emotion regulation predicted decreasing cyberbullying, whereas cyber-victimization strongly correlated with cyberbullying. Furthermore, the negative correlation between cyber-victimization and cyberbullying increased when emotion regulation was low. This study confirmed that most perpetrators experienced cyber-victimization, and emotion regulation strategically reduced those circumstances

No full textPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisa pasal 156 (c) KHI yang memiliki kekosongan hukum, yaitu tidak menyebutkan secara jelas dan tegas tentang persoalan jika ibu mampu melakukan pengasuhan, namun ayah enggan untuk memberi nafkah, sehingga anak terlantar karena ibu di lain sisi tidak memiliki penghasilan. Penelitian ini tergolong library research dengan pendekatan kualitatif normatif. Metode pengolahan data dan penarikan kesimpulan yang dipakai adalah analisa konten (Content Analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persoalan di atas harus dipandang dari sisi maqāshid al-syarī’ah karena berkaitan erat dengan hak asuh ibu apakah masih bisa dipertahankan atau justru lebih baik diserahkan ke pihak yang juga memiliki hak asuh. Jika anak tetap diasuh oleh ibu, maka akan muncul mudharat, namun mudharat tersebut bisa diminimalisir. Sedangkan mudharat yang muncul ketika anak diasuh oleh selain ibu sangat beresiko dan sulit untuk diminimalisir. Maslahat yang didapatkan oleh anak saat diasuh oleh ibu jauh lebih besar dari pada maslahat yang didapatkan oleh anak saat diasuh oleh selain ibu. Oleh karena itu, hak asuh ibu harus tetap dipertahankan karena sangat sesuai dengan teori maqāshid al-syarīa
Brand Personality Dimension for Islamic Educational Institution
No full textThis study explored the factors influencing brand personality that can be used in Islamic education institutions. The general dimension of brand personality is first dialogued with Islamic teachings. The research used a qualitative method with a literature approach and qualitative content analysis. The primary data were journal articles from reputable publishers and libraries online; Elsevier, Springer, Emerald, SciELO, Scientific Journal Publishers Limited, and accredited national journal with second rank selected by two considerations; citations and their relevance with the study's purpose. This study revealed that Islamic education institutions could use brand personality dimensions; sincerity, responsibility, openness, competence, lively, ruggedness, and emotion. Further researchers are expected to explore brand dimensions and create indicators based on Islamic teachings
Analisis Teoritik Atas Tulisan Geertz Tentang Kyai Jawa Sebagai Cultural Broker
No full textThis journal article aims to conduct a theoretical analysis of Geertz's article entitled "Javanese Kyai as Cultural Broker." Geertz's writing became one of the important contributions in anthropological studies on religion and culture in Indonesia. Geertz explains the role of the Javanese kyai as a cultural broker in Javanese society. The theoretical analysis in this article includes a study of the main concepts introduced by Geertz, such as kyai, culture, and cultural brokers. Through a theoretical approach, this article investigates these concepts with reference to anthropological theories and other relevant studies. The aim was to gain a deeper understanding of the role of Javanese kyai as cultural brokers in Javanese society. The study found that Kyai as a cultural broker acts as a mediator between different cultural groups, facilitating understanding, dialogue, and exchange between Javanese community groups and foreigners, such as the Japanese and Western cultures brought by modernists and the Dutch. The role of Kyai as a cultural broker has changed in line with changes in Indonesia's sociocultural and political systems. To continue to exist, Kyai needs to combine religious and secular knowledge and be involved in the NU political party, which has a coordinated organizational structure from the central to the branch level
The Influence of Humanitarian Da'wah on Community Social Piety in The Peneleh Mosque area in Surabaya
No full textThis study discusses the influence of human preaching on social piety in the Peneleh Mosque area of Surabaya. The purpose of this study is to describe, explain, and find out whether there is an influence of human preaching at the Peneleh Mosque Surabaya on social piety and describe, explain, and find out how much influence the preaching of humanity in the Peneleh Mosque area of Surabaya has social piety. This study uses a quantitative research method with a survey approach. The data collection technique used was through a questionnaire distributed to the sample. The collected data is then analyzed, compared, and combined to form a systematic, coherent, and measurable study result. In this study, it was found that; (1) There is a relationship between the influence of preaching humanity on social piety in the Peneleh Mosque area of Surabaya. (2) The influence of preaching humanity on social piety in the environment of the Peneleh Mosque area of Surabaya is moderate. Thus, it can be concluded that this study shows the working hypothesis (H1) is successful. That is, there is an influence between the preaching of humanity on social piety in the Peneleh Mosque area of Surabaya
Contemporary Da'wah Based on Cosmopolitan Islam
No full textThe development of Islam is currently experiencing relatively rapid development, mainly supported by technological developments. Islam views technological developments as opportunities for effective da'wah. In addition to facilitating the da'wah process, the existence of technology makes preachers more able to reach Mad'u from all walks of life. Da'i preaches with da'wah material that is readily accepted by the community by adjusting the geographic location, psychology, and intellectual capacity of Mad'u. The research method used in this article was a qualitative method using a literature approach. The result of this article is the da'wah process of contemporary preachers who carry out cosmopolitan Islamic da'wah by upholding the value of tolerance so that all levels of society can accept it. Such da'wah will provide a complex understanding for Mad'u to accept each other's differences within the framework of the Indonesian state

No full textThis study aims to describe the implementation of the singing method in learning fiqh. The approach used in this research is qualitative and the type of research is a case study. So the data in this study were obtained by means of interviews, observation and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive techniques with three streams of activities, namely: Data condensation, Data Presentation, and Conclusion Drawing and data validity testing. The results of this study show that the implementation of the method of singing fiqh learning materials with a social constructivism approach is carried out by referring to the three domains of education including cognitive, affective and psychomotor. The learning delivery strategy emphasizes what activities students do, the learning structure used and the media used in delivering learning materials

No full textThe focus of this research is to find out how the learning strategy of the book Taisirul Khalaq in fostering the morals of students at MI Unggulan Miftahul Huda Wanengpaten Gampengrejo Kediri, the implications and supporting and inhibiting factors in the learning. This research approach uses descriptive qualitative with case study research type. In its implementation, the learning strategy of the book of Taisirul Khalaq has several stages, such as planning, implementation and evaluation. Among the implications of learning the book of Taisirul Khalaq for the moral development of students include that the learning of the book shows success in providing moral insight, minimizing bad morals, strengthening good morals, strengthening discipline and motivation to worship students. Among the supporting factors for learning are the students' reluctance, the moral knowledge they already have and other factors such as interest and talent. The inhibiting factors include negative physical and psychological conditions

This research results that first; the Project Based Learning method is a fitting and suitable method applied to Islamic Religious Education and Budi Pekerti material. Second, there are several advantages and disadvantages in the application of PJB method. Third, the application of the PJBL method is very influential on the achievement (learning outcomes) of SMK BP Subulul Huda Kembangsawit students, this is evidenced by the results of the above calculations which are very significant
Bucin (Budak Cinta): The Other Side of Love Addiction in Romantic Relationships in Indonesia
No full textThe phenomenon of budak cinta (bucin) in the romantic relationships of Indonesian adolescents requires partners to make sacrifices. It becomes crucial because it produces some negative impacts. The researcher explores the causal factors, behavioral patterns, and impact of bucin behavior. The model of the approach chosen is indigenization from within using two types of quantitative and qualitative analysis. This study showed that 78.3% of respondents had experienced bucin. Then the level of education, duration of relationships, and influence of the social environment can be factors in the tendency of individuals to behave bucin. In addition, this study formed several themes that raised the causative factors, behavioral forms, and impact of bucin when they were in a dating relationship. These three things are arranged based on a subtheme, which provides an overview and understanding of the conditions behind bucin behavior
