Religiosity and its Relationship with the Tolerance Attitudes of Higher Education Students
This study aims to examine the relationship between religiosity and tolerance among university students. This research focuses on how university students’ level of religiosity relates to their attitudes towards differences in religion, culture, and views in the academic environment. The research method was a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. This study involved 160 students from various programs at several universities. Data were collected using a questionnaire consisting of a religiosity measurement scale and tolerance attitude measurement scale. The religiosity measurement scale includes the dimensions of belief, involvement in religious activities, and importance of religion in daily life. The tolerance attitude measurement scale assessed students' responses to statements describing openness, appreciation, and respect for differences. The results of the analysis show a positive correlation between the level of religiosity of university students and their tolerance attitudes. Students who showed higher levels of religiosity tended to have more tolerant attitudes. These findings suggest that religion can act as an important factor in shaping students' social attitudes in the academic environment. This study contributes to the understanding of the role of religion in shaping tolerant attitudes among university students. The implications of these findings can help in designing more inclusive education programs that emphasize openness to differences and respect for diversity. In addition, this study underscores the importance of opening dialogue and facilitating faith in higher education settings. Although the findings provide valuable insights, this study has limitations in terms of sample coverage and geographical area. Further research involving larger and more diverse samples from different countries or regions is expected to corroborate and expand the generalizability of these findings. Future research could also explore other factors that may influence the relationship between religiosity and tolerance among university students
Konsep Amr dan Mashlahah dalam Perspektif Pendidikan Islam: Kajian Tematik dalam Kitab Waraqat Karya Imam Haramain
This article examines the concepts of "Amr" (command) and "Mashlahah" (public good) in the perspective of Islamic education through thematic analysis of the important work "Kitab Waraqat" by Imam Haramain. Amr refers to the guidelines and commands in Islamic teachings that govern the actions of individuals and society. On the other hand, Mashlahah indicates the principle of seeking the public good in making decisions and adapting religious teachings to social contexts. In the context of Islamic education, the study of "Kitab Waraqat" provides deep insight into how the concept of Amr is applied in the process of student character building and teaching ethical values. This concept plays a central role in shaping the personality of students, who are noble and responsible. The study also reveals how the concept of mashlahah is implemented in the formation of educational policies, curriculum development, and the management of educational institutions. This principle of general benefit allows for the adjustment of religious teachings to contemporary needs, thus creating an educational environment that supports the holistic development of students. This article uses thematic analysis to explore the meaning and application of the concepts of Amr and Mashlahah in Islamic education based on the contents of "Kitab Waraqat.” The findings highlight the relevance of these concepts in forming the ethical and pedagogical foundations of Islamic education. By linking religious teachings with educational practices, this article illustrates the important contribution of Amr and Mashlahah’s concepts in shaping Islamic education in accordance with Islamic values and meeting the demands of the times
Analisis Kreativitas Guru dalam Memanfaatkan Teknologi Digital di MIN 3 Jombang
Indonesia has entered an era of disruption, in this era the development of digital technology has become very rapid and has had an impact on the education sector. In connection with the development of digital technology, teachers must adapt to these changes, so that teachers are required to be creative. Teacher creativity can be carried out both in the learning process and outside of learning by utilizing digital technology. This study aims to determine teacher creativity in utilizing digital technology in learning and outside learning, as well as the inhibiting and supporting factors. The method in this study uses qualitative case study research. The results of this study are that the practice of utilizing technology-based learning has been implemented at State Islamic Elementary School 3Jombang by utilizing laptops and projectors to display learning media such as PPT, snakes and ladders, animated videos, interactive videos and puzzles. Outside of teacher learning utilizing digital technology for PPDB, Android-based Madrasa exams and school administration. Supporting factors in utilizing digital technology are adequate facilities, the ability of the teacher and the motivation of the Madrasah Principal. While the inhibiting factor is the lack of willingness, ability and knowledge of teachers in the use of digital technology. Students give positive responses when teachers use digital technology in learning, this makes students motivated in learning and improves student learning outcomes
[Indonesia telah memasuki era disrupsi, dalam era ini perkembangan teknologi digital mejadi sangat pesat dan berdampak pada sektor pendidikan. Sehubungan dengan berkembangnya teknologi digital membuat guru harus beradaptasi terhadap perubahan tersebut, sehingga guru dituntut untuk kreatif. Kreativitas guru dapat dilakukan di dalam proses pembelajaran maupun di luar pem-belajaran dengan memanfaatkan teknologi digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kreativitas guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital di dalam pembelajaran dan di luar pembelajaran, serta faktor penghambat dan pendukungnya. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu praktik pemanfaatan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi sudah diterapkan di MIN 3 Jombang dengan memanfaatkan laptop dan proyektor untuk menampilkan media pembelajaran seperti PPT, ular tangga, video animasi, video interaktif dan puzzle. Di luar pembelajaran guru memanfaatkan teknologi digital untuk PPDB, ujian Madrasah berbasis android serta administrasi sekolah. Faktor pendukung dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital yaitu fasilitas yang memadai, kemampuan dari guru serta motivasi dari Kepala Madrasah. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya yaitu kurangnya kemauan, kemampuan dan pengetahuan dari guru dalam penggunaan teknologi digital. Siswa memberikan respon positif ketika guru menggunakan teknologi digital di dalam pembelajaran, hal ini membuat siswa termotivasi dalam belajar serta meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa
Training Making Videos based on Digital Media Content to Improve Promotion Skills of Tourism Village Managers
Life in this digital era is greatly influenced by technological advances. The sheer volume of technology shows that humans and technology cannot mix. In the 5.0 era, there is the idea that technology will work together with humans to improve the quality of life. One area that will benefit from the community is tourism. To increase tourism promotion, people can discover tourist attractions through digital content. Searching on various digital media, usually called social media, allows people to find tourist attractions through digital content. This conceptual research discusses the use of digital content as a tourism promotion tool. The importance of interesting content used in digital promotions so that the display supports the delivery of training presentation materials. This research uses a qualitative approach. The data source for this research comes from questions in a questionnaire regarding the opinions of tourist village managers in Dander District, Bojonegoro Regency regarding making videos based on digital media content to improve promotional skills. Studi Komparasi Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan pada Anak Usia Dini di Negara Indonesia dengan Negara Arab
Pendidikan kewarganegaraan anak usia dini negara Indonesia dengan negara Arab di latar belakangi tantangan negara dan warganegara globalisasi berpengaruh pada pertumbuhan, perkembangan jasmani dan rohani anak seperti norma, perilaku dan nilai kehidupan berdampak kemajuan negara. Penelitian digunakan memperbaiki kehidupan negara Indonesia dengan negara Arab menguasai kemampuan kecakapan abad-21. Metode penelitian menggunakan studi kepustakaan, tujuan mengupas pendidikan kewarganegaraan anak usia dini kedua negara. Hasil penelitian menyatakan tentang visi misi negara mempunyai target Indonesia emas tahun 2045, sedangkan negara Arab mempunyai target pelayanan unggul pendidikan tahun 2030. Pendidikan menggunakan kurikulum merdeka belajar dan profil pelajar Pancasila negara Indonesia sedangkan negara Arab menggunakan pelayanan unggul, pendidikan berkualitas adil dan inklusif meningkatkan kesempatan belajar seumur hidup. Fokus pencapaian perkembangan anak usia dini negara Indonesia mencangkup agama dan moral, Pancasila, fisik motorik, kognitif, bahasa, sosial emosional, sedangkan negara Arab standar pencapain: pengetahuan, perilaku, keterampilan, menjadikan warga negara baik, produktif, dan efektif. Pendidikan kewarganegaraan negara Indonesia, terdiri dari nilai Pancasila dan Profil pelajar Pancasila. Sedangkan pendidikan kewarganegaraan negara Arab bermuatan kewarganegaraan, identitas nasional dan budaya, eksplorasi interaksi antara negara dan masyarakat menjadikan warga negara yang baik. Kesimpulannya pendidikan kewarganegaraan anak usia dini negara Indonesia dengan Arab dapat menjadikan warga negara berkarakter dan berkewarganegaraan
Improving Mathematics Learning Outcomes using Ice Cream Stick Concrete Media in Grade 4 Elementary School Students
The background of this research is the low mathematics learning outcomes of students in grade 4 at 3 Kelutan State Elementary School. This is because learning uses the lecture method so students feel bored and less enthusiastic about participating in learning. This study aims to improve the results of learning mathematics material multiplication arithmetic operations after learning is applied using concrete ice cream stick media. This study used the Classroom Action Research method with 2 cycles. The stages of the research carried out were planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research subjects were 4th-grade students at 3 Kelutan State Elementary School Ngronggot Nganjuk with a total of 15 students. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative by collecting data on learning outcomes carried out in each cycle. The indicator of success in this study is if 75% of students master the material with a minimum completeness criterion of 70. The results of the study show that concrete media can improve mathematics learning outcomes on multiplication arithmetic operations for students in grades 4 at 3 Kelutan State Elementary School. In cycle 1, 40% of students have achieved Minimum Completeness Criteria with an average score of 57.33. Then in cycle II, 80% of students achieved minimum completeness criteria with an average value of 79.33. So it can be concluded that the concrete media of Ice Cream Sticks can improve the mathematics learning outcomes of students in grade 4 at 3 Kelutan State Elementary School
Optimization of Social Systems in the Diffusion of Innovations in Traditional Islamic Society: Study of Grameen Bank in Bangladesh
The diffusion of innovation in the context of developing traditional societies has its challenges with the many obstacles in the social system. Previous studies have proven that each social component has a significant role in facilitating the process of innovation diffusion to underprivileged societies. However, they need to discuss how to optimize these components to overcome the barriers of social systems in traditional societies. Meanwhile, M. Yunus created an innovation in the form of microcredit and successfully diffused it to Muslim women who live in poverty in Bangladesh. This study investigates how Yunus optimizes the social system's components to successfully diffuse the program's innovation in the high traditional challenges. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a type of case study and analysis based on Rogers' theory of social system components. This study finds that social system barriers can be overcome by 1) optimizing the role of reforming agents in optional decisions through interpersonal relationships; 2) optimizing local communication channels that are homophilous with friendship networks among lower-class Muslim women
Academic Fraud during the Covid-19 Pandemic for High School Students
This study aims to determine the academic fraud students committed to doing assignments during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study used a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Data collection was done by randomly distributing Google Forms to high school students in West Java Province. There were about 540 samples that were successfully captured in this study. The data analysis technique was carried out employing descriptive statistics. The results showed that as many as 88.3% of students stated that they committed academic fraud in doing the assignments given to them by the teacher. The fraud was done by copying and pasting a friend's assignment from the internet and doing things without obligation. It was done because there was no particular action from the teacher against cheating students. Particular policies need to be made by schools; namely, the teacher instills the values of Honesty and other anti-corruption values in the learning process. Besides that, the use of technology is to determine whether there is an element of plagiarism in student assignments. Parents at home also need to instill anti-corruption values in their children from an early age so that they are familiar with these things
Contracts Applied in Indonesia Sharia Interbank Money Market (PUAS); An Analysis from Comparative Fiqh Views
Bank Indonesia Regulation (22/9/PBI/2020) administers that Sharia Interbank Money Market (PUAS) is based on particular instruments which are SIMA (Mudarabah Interbank Investment Certificate), SiKA (Commodity Murabahah Investment Certificate) and SiPA (Wakalah bil-Istismar or Investment Agency Certificate). Despite the existing fatwas (DSN-MUI 37/X/2002, 38/X/2002, and 78/IX/2010) rule the principles within PUAS in Indonesia, are straightforward and concise. Hence, it is crucial to develop extended fiqh deliberation on the regulation as it can further develop and evaluate the current practice. The research aims mainly at achieving clarity from comparative fiqh views on the practice of conventional and Islamic banks mixed funds within the PUAS. Particularly, it will examine whether the existing Islamic contracts offered within PUAS encounter potential fiqh issues. This study applies a qualitative approach using the content analysis method namely a comparison of jurist views and legal maxims. It summarised: (i) there is no fiqh issue in the use of excess liquidity from conventional banks to be invested in sharia banks with the rationale of Quran (2:274) and Legal Maxim of “it is absolved in dependent events and not so for independent ones”, (ii) the subject-matter of each contract within PUAS, capital and work in Mudharabah, price and goods in commodity Murabaha, and trusted funds in wakalah bil-istismar, has no potential fiqh issue with regarding the mandatory condition of subject-matter that should be sharia-compliant. (iii) However, although utilizing comingled wealth is permissible, nonetheless it stands under detestation. As such, the commodity murabahah contract (SiKA) has fewer fiqh issues because it dissociates sharia banks in PUAS to expose directly to excess liquidity from conventional bank
Analisis Hukum Islam Tentang Istri Petani Yang Bekerja Membantu Mencari Nafkah Keluarga
Keluarga adalah inti dari masyarakat, dengan kata lain keluarga adalah masyarakat yang terkecil yang terdiri dari Suami, Istri dan Anak. Keluarga yang baik akan menentukan bagaimana bangunan dari masyarakatnya. Keluarga yang baik tentunya dibangun oleh perempuan-perempuan yang baik, kuat, tangguh, sabar dan adanya kerjasama yang harmonis antara Suami, Istri dan anak-anak. Perkawinan merupakan ikatan yang sangat kuat dengan perjanjian yang teguh yang diterapkan di atas landasan niat untuk menjalani hidup bersama sebagai suami istri termasuk hak dan kewajiban yang harus dilaksanakan oleh keduanya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa: 1) Pelaksanaan hak dan kewajiban suami istri dalam kasus istri petani sama sekali tidak terganggu, dalam artian keduanya tetap bisa menjalankan hak dan kewajibannya dengan baik serta saling membantu satu sama lainnya, apalagi hal itu didasari asas kesukarelaan antara kedua belah pihak. 2) Pelaksanaan hak dan kewajiban antara suami istri dalam kasus istri petani diperbolehkan berdasarkan firman Allah Swt. surat At-Tahrim ayat 6 dan pasal 77 ayat 2 Kompilasi Hukum Islam tentang kebolehan suami istri untuk saling membantu satu sama lain serta memenuhi asas kesukarelaan
