For this reason, many Islamic thinkers try to formulate the concept of Islamic education as a whole which can be used as a reference in fostering the younger generation of Islam. Get PDFSelf-esteem is one of the essential components that make up an individual's personality. The level of self-esteem possessed by an individual influences the development of self-concept, self-confidence, self-motivation, and personal resilience. Self-esteem develops since the individual realizes its function in the social environment. The case study in this study discusses the condition of one of the students currently studying at the Faculty of Medical of University X of Yogyakarta. The initial assessments used are the intelligence test, personality test, and self-esteem scale. It is concluded that the subject experienced low self-esteem which had an impact on self-confidence, motivation, and resilience ability in attending lectures. This condition also affects the academic achievement of the subject, which is unsatisfactory. This study purpose is to determine the effectiveness of counseling with cognitive-behavioral therapy approach on subjects who have low self-esteem. The techniques used in cognitive-behavioral counseling therapy are ABCDE techniques, Socratic questions, vertical arrows, and relaxation techniques. This study uses a single-case experimental design method. The result is that the subject found some negative beliefs that made him helpless with the situation, especially in academic activities. Then the subject was able to find another positive alternative belief so that the subject had a positive judgment on him. After the counselling process in several sessions, the subject has high self-esteem. The subject has a positive assessment of himself and does not see his weaknesses as a scourge that makes him helpless in carrying out daily activities, especially academic activitie

Get PDFAs educators, teachers must be able to improve their performance in carrying out tasks. To achieve high teacher performance, one of them is the motivation factor. Motivation is the driving force for someone to do an activity that is manifested in the form of a real action. Thus the higher the motivation of someone, the higher the performance and vice versa, the lower the motivation of a person, the lower the performance. The success of teacher performance will be seen if there is motivation from the teacher himself and has the support of the madrasa headmaster. Therefore, in addition to the teacher himself who is trying to improve the quality of his performance, the madrasa also seeks to establish good leadership as an empowerment of teachers and madrasa members so that they have good performance in carrying out their duties. This type of research is quantitative research that aims to find answers about the questions in the research based on the actual situation so that it is obtained about the prevailing picture in relation to the correlation between the leadership style of madrasah leaders and teacher work motivation on teacher performance in MAN 3 Nganjuk. The conclusions based on data analysis are: Madrasah headship leadership and teacher work motivation together have positive and significant influence on teacher performance. Good madrasah head leadership and high teacher work motivation will make teachers increasingly improve performance in carrying out their duties

In this study, the authors used descriptive qualitative research. The results of the study can be concluded, in channelling zakat for education in the Ministry of Religion Kediri is appropriate and refers to the distribution of zakat for the sabilillah class. Where all people who take the path of Allah, fight for His religion, both through seeking knowledge and who take up the sword, are equally entitled to receive Zakat. And the result, being able to help children who want to drop out of school because of their parents' unstable economy

Get PDFThe Head of Madrasa in the Education Unit is a leader. He has two positions: formal leader and school manager. In carrying out their duties, each madrasa head uses different strategies and methods according to his character, known as the leadership style. This research is a type of qualitative research with a descriptive-analytical approach. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. So the source of data in this study is the headmaster of madrasas, educators, education staff, students, and documents related to the leadership style of the headmaster. The data collection techniques that researchers use in this thesis are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Indications for obtaining maximum results are observations about madrasah head decision making, madrasah head interaction models, madrasah head motivation, orientation/leadership behaviour of madrasas. The results show that, First, the leadership style of the head of MTs Negeri 6 Kediri is situational or combines democratic, authoritarian, laissez-faire but more dominant democracy. Secondly, this madrasa has indeed achieved many achievements at the district, provincial and national levels
Pengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Dan Profesionalisme Guru Terhadap Kinerja Guru Di SMP Negeri 1 Gondang Nganjuk
Get PDFThis study, taking the theme of the influence of the principal's leadership style and professionalism of teachers on teacher performance in SMP Negeri 1 Gondang, Nganjuk. Principal's leadership style and teacher professionalism are important indicators of achieving effective and efficient performance in an educational institution. This research approach is quantitative with ex post facto design. The population was all 60 Gondang 1 Junior High School teachers, then 42 samples were selected by using the Disproportionate Stratified random sampling technique. Data collection instrument in the form of a questionnaire with a Likert scale which has 4 alternative answers. The research instrument was tested on 42 teachers. The instrument validity test used was content validity with experimental judgment techniques, while for instrument reliability the Alpha Cronbach formula was used. Data analysis uses simple regression and multiple regression.The result is that the principal's leadership at SMPN 1 Gondang is included in the good category with an average score of 55,1429, professionalism of teachers in the professional category with an average score of 54.5714, the teacher's performance falls into the very good category with an average of 45.0714. With a simple regression analysis, it is known: there is no significant influence of the principal's leadership style on the performance of teachers of SMPN 1 Gondang because only -, 093, teacher professionalism does not affect the teacher's performance because it is only -, 102, but there is a positive and significant influence on the principal's leadership style on teacher professionalism that is equal to 98.3%. The results of multiple regression analysis showed that there was a significant joint effect between the principal's leadership style and teacher professionalism on teacher performance at SMPN 1 Gondang, which was only 1.2%

No full textPembangunan merupakan upaya sadar yang dilakukan manusia untuk mencapai kehidupan yang lebih baik. Hakekat pembangunan adalah bagaimana agar kehidupan hari depan lebih baik dari hari ini. Di sisi lain, perubahan besar itu sendiri membawa dampak negative terhadap lingkungan hidup. Kerusakan lingkungan hidup lebih banyak disebabkan oleh sikap pengkhilafan pembangunan yang kurang menyadari pentingnya segi lingkungan hidup serta akibat keterbatasan dan penataan kota yang kurang baik.
Secara khusus penelitian ini hendak menjelaskan bagaimana analisis konsistensi dan harmonisasinya perda tata ruang kota Kediri bila dikaitkan dengan undang-undang lingkungan hidup beserta implementasinya dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi implementasi peraturan daerah tata ruang kota tersebut. Sedangkan analisis pergeseran terbagi menjadi tiga yaitu analisis pergeseran pada azas filosofi, normatif dan analisis pergeseran implementasi penataan ruang. Implementasi kebijakan penataan ruang bila dikaitkan dengan undang-undang lingkungan hidup telah mengalami pergeseran yang sangat signifikan, karena sebagian kebijakan pengembangan ruang kota Kediri tidak sesuai dengan fungsi peruntukan lahan. Serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi implementasi Peraturan Daerah Tata Ruang Kota Kediri bila dikaitkan dengan Undang-undang Lingkungan Hidup tidak dapat terlepas dari pertimbangan-pertimbangan sosiologis yang antara lain; faktor perkembangan penduduk, faktor ekonomi yang menjadi faktor utama, faktor estetika, serta faktor filosofis. Belum lagi ditambah dengan faktor-faktor lainnya seperti pelanggaran yang dilakukan pihak-pihak swasta, kebijakan pimpinan yang menyalahi pelanggaran yang dilakukan pihak-pihak swasta, kebijakan pimpinan yang menyalahi peraturan perundang-undangan, belum adanya tindakan yang konkrit dari pemerintah

No full textKeluarga sakinah merupakan tujuan utama pernikahan, karena itu sejak awal diupayakan melalui berbagai cara, dimulai sebelum pelaksanaan akad nikah sampai dengan waktu yang tidak ditentukan. Pada umumnya masyarakat beranggapan bahwa keluarga sakinah dapat terwujud apabila antra kedua belah pihak mempunyai kesesuaian keadaan fisik, kepemilikan harta, kekerabatan yang baik dan keberagamaan yang sesuai. Hal seperti itu disebut kafaah, bahwa kafaah dalam pernikahan merupakan faktor yang dapat mendorong terciptanya kebahagiaan suami istri agar terhindar dari kegoncangan rumah tangga.
Adat Jawa mengenalkan sistim kafaah berkelanjutan, apabila pada masa pranikah belum tercipta kesesuaian strata kekufuan antara kedua belah pihak diupayakan acara atau pesta yang didalamnya mengajarkan agar tidak putus asa karena kesetaraan itu dapat diupayakan kapan saja melalui usaha yang sungguh-sungguh. Acara menuju kesetaraan tersebut dilakukan melalui ajaran adi luhung pada saat temu manten, yaitu waktu pertama kali suami istri bersama-sama menggunakan pakai kebesaran melakukan upacara gantalan, bobot timbang, kacar-kucur dan sungkeman di tengah masyarakat
