    Dalam pernikahan, kafaah bisa dipahami sebagai keserasian dan keseimbangan antar calon pengantin dengan suaminya agar setiap individu tidak mengalami kesulitan dalam melaksanakan pernikahan. Di masyarakat, ada istilah Bibit (keturunan) Bebet (status ekonomi) Berat badan (tinggi rendahnya kualitas seseorang) adalah ukuran dalam memilih pasangan hidup. Konsep kafaah dalam penelitian ini disandingkan dengan pemikiran KH. Husain Muhammad sebagai tokoh kyai yang mendalami tafsir terhadap ayat-ayat tentang gender dan kerap memperjuangkan hak-hak gender. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif dan data penelitian diperoleh dengan metode wawancara dan data tambahan dari buku-buku serta artikel ilmiah terkait kafaah. Hasil penelitian ini memaparkan bahwa kafaah menurut KH. Husain Muhammad merupakan suatu kecocokan atau kesesuaian antara satu pasangan. Dan kesesuaian yang dimaksud oleh beliau secara idealnya ada emapt aspek, maka yang menjadi prioritas adalah ad-din.  Ad-din dalam konteks ini dimaknai sebagai ukuran keserasian dalam moralitas yang unuversal atau dalam artian akhlak, bukan sesuatu idealisme yang bersifat lahiriyyah

    Utilization of the Discovery Learning Model to Overcome Islamic Cultural History Learning Problems in Madrasa

    Islamic cultural history (SKI, Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam) is part of the Islamic religious education curriculum. In madrasa, this subject became a particular subject. Similar to another history subject, this subject has many general problems in practice. This paper aimed to determine the utilization of the Discovery Learning model in SKI learning at Islamic Junior High School (MTs) YAKPI Kalijati Subang, West Java Province. This study applied qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive type. Interviews, observations, and documentation were data collection methods to achieve the study objectives. The study found that utilization of the discovery learning model contributed to overcoming the SKI learning problems. The main problem included many aspects that related to achieving the learning objectives. This study also indicates that the teacher needed to combine the discovery learning model with digital-based learning media and outdoor-based learning methods

    The Implementation of the Al-Qur'an Memorization Program at the Palembang Alumnika Science Elementary School

    The substance of this research is implementing the Al-Qur'an memorization program by involving leaders of educational institutions, teachers, students, and parents. This study seeks to determine the process of implementing the Al-Qur'an memorization program at the Palembang Sains Alumnika Elementary School and the supporting and inhibiting factors. The research used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The informants were the principal, the head of the program, and the teacher memorizing the Qur'an. Data collection techniques were used interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques through data condensation, data presentation, and concluding. This study indicated that the implementation of the Al-Qur'an memorization program could be seen from 1) organizing, namely a) making an organizational structure; b) classifying teachers; and c) grouping students; 2) direction, which is given at the beginning of each new academic year; 3) motivation; and 4) coordination, namely holding a meeting at the beginning of each semester. The supporting factors, namely 1) the existence of motivation; 2) the age of students who are still children; 3) the availability of teachers to memorize; 4) there is support from the school environment and parents of students. While the inhibiting factors, namely 1) some students have not been able to read the Qur'an fluently; and 2) students are less routine in repeating memorization because of online learning

    This activity aims to carry out socio-cultural mapping as the first step for Integrative KKN in West Sakerta Village, Darma District, Kuningan Regency. The focus is on the fields of economy, health, education, religion, and community culture. The method used in this activity is PRA in the form of (a) building communication with several community nodes, (b) conducting historical tracing as a cultural foothold, (c) conducting FGDs (Focus Group Discussions) with social units and stakeholders, ( d) critical reflection on the findings which are confirmed to policy makers and stakeholders. The results of the activity include, from the economic field, it has the potential to be developed in the agricultural industry, for example, cassava chips. The field of education has received less attention considering the low interest in studying because people's needs are still in the economic sector. The health sector is not good with indicators of the absence of a good waste disposal system and the poor infrastructure of the Puskesmas. The field of religion is not good considering that religious education is only obtained in religious education in schools. In the cultural field, it was found that Sakerta's original culture was undermined, such as Wayang, Reog, Jaipong, and Qasidaha

    Pancasila and Islam are two ideologies that are often seen as different. This can be seen from the history of the Indonesian state administration where it is recorded that Pancasila was used as a tool for the Government to dissolve organizations and parties with Islamic nuances, namely Masyumi and HTI. The contradiction was caused by the Government placing Pancasila as part of legal norms, not values. Even though the consequence of placing Pancasila as a legal norm should be that there should also be an agency authorized to conduct trials. However, unlike other legal norms, there is no single institution that has the authority to test Pancasila. In addition, according to experts, Pancasila is a building of values which is the way of life of the Indonesian people. The research method in this article is normative juridical. The result states that Pancasila should be positioned as a value, not as a legal norm

This change is the most crucial factor so that teaching and learning activities can be carried out, achieve educational goals and educate the nation. The researcher aims to determine the response of Islamic boarding school-based formal education during the pandemic. In this study, the type of qualitative research is descriptive analysis. The data collection carried out in this study was using interview, observation and documentation techniques. Analysis of the data used is a flow model. The results of this study stated that the curriculum and learning media underwent very urgent changes in response to the pattern of life and social order during the Covid-19 pandemic

    The case of intolerance and restrictions on the right to religious freedom is a never-ending discourse. That is because these cases still occur in Indonesia with such high numbers. In the last five years, data shows an increase in cases of intolerance and restrictions on religious freedom. In this condition, it turns out that the right to freedom of religion and belief has not provided benefits for minority groups. This paper tries to reveal how the rights to freedom of religion and belief are upheld by the norms of Human Rights and the State as the guarantor. This article also tries to reveal that even Islam with the teachings of tolerance and the concept of Al-Mabadi 'Al-Khamsah and Al-Kulliyah Al-Khams provide support for the creation of justice, peace and harmonious relations between humans

    The case of the failure of 75 KPK employees is claimed to have something to do with radicalism within the KPK. Through this discourse analysis of news texts, a study of the meaning of the news texts of Koran Tempo and Republika is carried out to determine the structure of the news text, social cognition and social context. The results found are Koran Tempo and Republika, with different media ideologies, have an intersecting discourse structure where they both assume that radicalism related to the failure of 75 KPK employees has no facts.     Kalis Mardiasih is a pro-feminism woman who writes about the phenomena encountered in society particularly that occurred to a Muslima in her book “Muslimah Yang Diperdebatkan”.  This book deals with many of the recent phenomena, including the use of hijab and social media abuses. Through literature study approaches, the values of Islamic education in the book are then aligned with concepts from different sources of literature. The function of Islamic education in addition to tauhid and worship another function of Islamic education is the founding of moral and social value to learners. The process of integrating value can be by sharing the activity like the cultivating of conduct. The roles of the various elements of Islamic education here are particularly influential in habituation, especially the roles of teachers and parents who are often directly involved with learners

    Character education is one part of national development that is prioritized by the current government. In character education, every school/madrasah must integrate character values through activities, such as intra-curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. However, the fact is that the character education implemented by schools/madrasas has not been implemented properly. One of the causes is the implementation of management functions in schools/madrasa that are less than optimal. The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe the implementation of character education management in intra-curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities at MI Pembangunan UIN Jakarta. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are; Character education management refers to the management function, namely planning, organizing, implementing and supervising the 5 main values of education, namely religious, nationalist, independent, mutual cooperation and integrity in every intracurricular, cocurricular, and extracurricular activity. [Pendidikan karakter menjadi salah satu bagian dari pembangunan nasional yang diprioritaskan pemerintah saat ini. Dalam pendidikan karakter setiap sekolah/madrasah harus mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai karakter melalui kegiatan, seperti intrakurikuler, kokurikuler dan ekstrakurikuler. Namun faktanya pendidikan karakter yang diterapkan oleh sekolah/madrasah belum terlaksana dengan baik. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah penerepan fungsi manajemen di sekolah/madrasah yang kurang optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan manajemen pendidikan karakter pada kegiatan intrakurikuler, kokurikuler dan ekstrakurikuler, di MI Pembangunan UIN Jakarta. Penelititan ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah; manajemen pendidikan karakter mengacu pada fungsi manajmen yaitu perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan pengawasan yang terintegrasi pada 5 nilai utama pendidikan, yaitu religius, nasionalis, mandiri, gotong royong dan integritas di setiap kegiatan intrakurikuler, kokurikuler, dan ekstrakurikuler
