    Academic Supervision in Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools During the COVID-19 Pandemic

    The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the education sector, including the execution of academic supervision in schools. This study investigates the academic supervision in two integrated Islamic elementary schools in Bekasi, Indonesia, during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method employed a qualitative research design as a case study. The methodological triangulation included interviews, academic supervision observations, and document analysis used to collect data. A total of two informants were the principals from integrated Islamic elementary schools, which were purposefully chosen based on their academic supervision expertise. The data from the interviews were transcribed. Then, the data was examined using the Atlas.ti software program based on theme analysis. Following that, we carried out coding procedures and interpretation. The findings revealed that academic supervision was still carried out before the pandemic, albeit with certain limitations. Principals begin by arranging academic supervision plans and organizing a team of school supervisors. Moreover, this study highlighted a new model of applying academic supervision procedures at schools amid the pandemic

    Students' Perceptions on English Learning Materials: Need Analysis of Islamic Studies Students

    The English material has not met the needs of students and was created with the lecturer in mind. This study analyzes the English language needs of students majoring in Islam (ushuluddin) at the State Islamic University of North Sumatera, Indonesia. This study applied a qualitative descriptive research method to explore student perspectives on ESP courses. The research data was obtained through interviews and data collection of material documentation. The findings in this study proved that students who learned ESP need good material and can apply the results at the end of the lesson. Besides, what they have learned so far was the obtained course in high school, so it was not so difficult to understand. Hence, the language skills they command must be fulfilled from listening, speaking, reading, and writing to support their insights with Islamic foundations and majors. In sum, the materials of ESP should be formulated by practitioners of English for Specific Purposes (ESP) who know ESP instruction, and the aim of ESP might concern the improvements in students' proficiency in English. Thus, the students are better academically and professionally in the work domain

    The problem that will be raised in the community service program through this Community Service Program is to increase various community activities in the religious and social fields. This community service program was carried out in Patalan Village, Kendal District, Ngawi Regency on January 27 to March 4, 2022 using PAR methods and a case study approach, namely by observing and describing the situation in Patalan Village more deeply. Data collection was carried out by several strategies, namely, discussions with field supervisors, in-depth interviews with village heads, hamlet heads, community leaders and religious leaders in Patalan Village which aimed to find information related to the problems that exist in Patalan Village. Discussion on solutions to overcome problems in Patalan Village. As well as the implementation of work programs as a form of implementation of solutions to problems encountered. The result of this community service program is the realization of a program to increase activities in the religious field by implementing banjari prayer programs, madin/TPA assistance, yasinan assistance, private tutoring, and GEMAS (Mosque Cleaning the Mosque)

    Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui pengamatan terkait tingkatan pengamatan estetika dalam sebuah ruangan kelas yang memiliki pojok baca. Pojok baca merupakan suatu kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh anak disetiap waktu luang disaat jam istirahat atau disaat pembelajaran yang berpusat di pojok baca untuk membaca buku yang telah disediakan di rak tersebut. Dalam hal ini permasalahan yang terdapat dalam penelitian ini mengenai bagaimana pandangan penulis terhadap estetika suatu ruangan tersebut yaitu pojok baca yang sudah ditemukan berbagai ragamnya dari sumber google picture dan youtube dengan melakukan pengamatan sesuai dengan tingkatan estetika 1 sampai tingkatan estetika 3. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode studi literatur yang bahan penelitian didapatkan dari studi kepustakaan hasil membaca dan mencatat sehingga hasil penelitian adalah kelima objek tersebut memiliki keindahan yang menarik dan berbeda tentunya dengan dilengkapi oleh unsur-unsur dan komponen-komponen terhadap masing-masing gambar yang menjadikannya tampak menjadi estetik sesuai dengan tingkatan estetikanya

    This article aims to innovate and use empon-empon as a booster for citizens' immunity from the Covid-19 virus. Where this activity was carried out during KKN-DR during the pandemic. The KKN-DR model uses the PAR (Participatory Action Research) method. PAR has three key variables namely, Participatory, Action (action) and Research (research). The results of the activity stated that KKN-DR which is oriented towards increasing the potential of students where they live can be carried out well. The focus of KKN-DR is on socializing the prevention and anticipation of Covid-19, as well as making herbal drinks made from empon-empon. There are advantages and disadvantages in carrying out the KKN DR program activities that have been carried out in carrying out these KKN DR activities. As a recommendation, it is necessary to increase the understanding and importance of the toga plant as a preventive measure for all forms of minor ailments.     The curriculum development model is a model used to develop a curriculum where curriculum development aims to improve or perfect a curriculum that is made to be developed by it self either from the central government, local government or schools. In the learning process in general, various problems arise, especially for elementary level students where students get bored easily, lack of concentration on learning activities. Descriptive qualitative research methods with case study techniques in this journal article the author uses. The need for teacher innovation in developing an independent curriculum model to overcome these problems because the teacher is the main milestone in education and the creativity of the teacher is needed in teaching, especially in education in basic-level Islamic learning.   Salah satu desain pengembangan kurikulum menggunakan model pengembangan berbasis kebutuhan sendiri atau kebutuhan lokal. Karena berbagai permasalahn dan kendala menjadi tantangan di SDI Al Azhar Kota Kediri. Pengembangan kurikulum prototipe sudah dilakukan selama tiga tahun. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, desain pengembangan ini membawa perubahan suasana pembelajaran yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran di periode sebelumnya. Dalam konteks ini, perlu mengadakan penelitian lebih mendalam tentang implementasi pengembangan kurikulum berbasis prototipe. Guna mendapatkan pendalaman, penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan fokus pengembangan dalam bidang ilmu Pendidiakan Agama Islam.     Pemilu dan Konflik dalam Keluarga: Menjaga Harmoni dalam Perbedaan Pendapat

    Conflicts within families often arise when members have different political opinions, especially during election periods. Such conflicts can threaten family harmony and disrupt relationships between family members. This study aims to explore the impact of political dissent and elections on conflict in the family as well as strategies that can be used to maintain harmony in the face of such dissent. Qualitative research was conducted using a library review approach. Data were collected through a review of libraries related to the themes of conflicts caused by elections. Data analysis was conducted through a process of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that political disagreements and elections triggered family conflicts. These conflicts include communication tensions, emotional separation, and disagreements in decision making. Factors that influence the level of conflict include the intensity of disagreement, the inability to engage in dialogue constructively, and the influence of mass media. However, this study also found strategies that can help maintain harmony in the face of political disagreements in the family. These strategies include opening a respectful dialog, willingness to listen to, trying to understand the views of the other party, and focusing on shared values and goals. In addition, the use of reliable and critical sources of information can reduce conflicts that arise

    Academic Burnout in University Students During Covid-19 Pandemic: Viewed from Readiness to Change with Religious Coping as a Moderator

    The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in various problems in almost all aspects of life, one of which is education. As one of the educational institutions, universities have finally implemented distance learning to reduce the spread of the virus on campus. However, this policy can also cause several new problems for students, including unpreparedness and boredom when implementing distance learning. This study aimed to determine the effect of readiness to change on university students’ academic burnout and to prove that religious coping as an internal resource can strengthen its influence. This research used quantitative research, especially correlational research design, using a hierarchical regression test to compare the results of the effect with and without the moderating variable. The sampling technique used in this study was a non-probability sampling with an accidental sampling technique in which it was obtained 300 active university students from the provinces of DKI Jakarta, West Java, and Yogyakarta. The results of the analysis showed that readiness to change could explain the academic burnout variance by 27%. Religious coping can be a moderator and strengthen the effect of readiness to change on academic burnout with a beta coefficient of -.003, which means an increase in one readiness to change score and religious coping can reduce academic burnout by 3%

    Cyberspace Sebagai Area Perang Antara Fans Versus Haters K-Pop di Instagram

    This research focuses on the fanwar phenomenon that occurs between fans versus haters on Instagram. By using the netnographic method, researchers did non-participatory observations on the accounts of haters and fans on Instagram. The object of this research is Once as a fan group and Thrice as a hate group. The results of the study show that the fan war that occurs on Instagram has several forms, such as fan war through the comments column, through indirect messages and uploads via Instagram stories. During the war process, fans and haters always use harsh, aggressive and disrespectful words or better known as flaming. hassle and block are two events used by fans and haters to avoid fanwar. As fans, fans take the fight to the haters group by creating a counter account to fight the haters account on Instagram. With this resistance aimed at fans not making haters stay silent, haters then create a rival Instagram account to fight the anti-haters account created by these fans

    Dampak Gadget Terhadap Perilaku Alone Together

    This article discusses the role of the device or gadget, which is the latest communication tool that must be owned by each individual in the new media era. Everyone's daily life is spent with gadgets that are equipped with all the features. It can answer every modern human need. Thus, gadgets have a significant impact, one of which is the attitude of being alone together. This research is a qualitative research that will reveal the impact of gadgets on the attitude of being alone together which indicates social and moral decadence. The results of this study indicate that gadgets have reduced social values ​​in which people communicate verbally and nonverbally. Social reality (not virtual reality) is the most important thing in building values ​​in society, but with this gadget telecommunication system, people are increasingly trapped in virtual reality. The construction of the alone together attitude is an attitude of unconsciousness where this is a form of abnormality, because what is called normality are those who can communicate face-to-face. This does not necessarily erase the presence of gadgets with all their positive impacts, but society must be able to balance the progress of the times with intelligent minds and religious points of view as well as religiosity and values ​​that are equally appropriate and also fill each individual's personal space
