    Psychological Experiences in Facing the Early Situation of the Covid-19 Pandemic in Adolescents, Adults, and the Elderly

    The COVID-19 pandemic that has occurred since the beginning of 2019 has changed various aspects of human life. The rapid spread of the virus has restricted human activities, ranging from economic, educational, to socio-religious activities. This situation is a new thing for humans giving rise to various experiences. This study aimed to understand individual psychological experiences, including thoughts, feelings, attitudes, and perceptions in facing the pandemic in various age groups. This research consisted of two stages: the grounded theory survey approach and the phenomenological approach. In the first stage, as many as 447 participants of adolescence and early, middle to late adulthood have filled out an online questionnaire via the google form. The next stage was interviews with 15 participants related to experiences in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. The interview results were then analyzed using the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis method. The results showed that most adolescents described the COVID-19 pandemic as a crisis, while most of the adult group described it with negative emotions. All age groups decided on health as their main concern. Most of the participants considered that there were things to be grateful for during the COVID-19 pandemic. Groups of adolescents and early and middle adults made their family the thing they were most grateful for during the COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, the late adult group placed health as most grateful for. Gratitude was also believed to be a provision for someone to survive and see the positive side of an unpleasant event

    Academic Well-Being of University Students with Disability: Role of Hardiness and Social Support

    Online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic seems to produce a new challenge for students with disabilities. The physical limitations experienced demand an adjustment to a digitalization-based system. These changes are pros and cons for university students with disabilities to achieve well-being through success in the academic field. The achievement of academic well-being of university students with disabilities seems inseparable from internal and external factors. Based on the phenomena, this study aims to determine the role of hardiness and social support (family, friends, and significant others) on the academic well-being of students with disabilities. The method used quantitative with a multiple regression design. The participants were 184 university students with physical disabilities using the snowball sampling technique. The research scale consists of a hardiness scale, a social support scale, and an academic well-being scale. The results of the study indicated that the hardiness and social support affected the academic well-being of university students with disabilities. The achievement of academic well-being experienced by university students with disabilities provides a new understanding that self-limitation does not make it an obstacle to forming a good self-concept, forming a self-strategy in overcoming online learning problems, and increasing productivity in every educational process undertaken.     Psychological Condition of Women Who Divorced Due to Husbands’ Infidelity

    The divorce experience of a woman caused by her husband's infidelity will impact her life. This study aimed to understand the psychological impacts of divorced women due to their husbands’’ infidelity. The research used a phenomenological method of qualitative approach. Research participants were five women who experienced a divorce caused by husbands’ infidelity selected using the purposive sampling technique. The age range of the participants was 26 to 38 years. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect the data. The data were analyzed using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). The results of this study showed that the psychological condition of women who divorced because of infidelity included feelings of inferiority and worthless, fear and worry about the future, feelings of sadness and misery, regret and disappointment because the reality was different from expectations, anger, hate and heartache, hopeless, difficulty trusting men because of feeling betrayed. During the infidelity, the husband and wife relationship experienced conflict, which worsened the situation until they decided to divorce. Even after the divorce, the negative psychological conditions were still felt and caused doubts about the self’s ability to be responsible for growing up children and making them happy

    Academicians’ Perception of the Implementation of Anti-Corruption Character Education in Higher Education

    The study aimed to analyze the implementation of anti-corruption character education in tertiary institutions. The participants of this study were 1218 academicians consisting of students (1118 people), lecturers (75 people), and education staff (25 people) in the universities across Yogyakarta. Data collection was conducted online for approximately 3 months via Google form, using the Anti-Corruption Character Building Questionnaire (ACCBQ) scale. Based on the collected data, the coefficient of Cronbach Alpha reliability was 0.948. The data analysis used descriptive data analysis divided into five categories, including very low, low, medium, high, and very high. The results of the study generally indicated that there were 5 (0.4%) participants who were in the very low category, 22 (1.8%) participants who were in the low category, 81 (6.7%) participants who were in the moderate category, 629 (51.6%) participants in the high category, and 481 (39.5%) participants in the very high category. This means that the academic community perceived the implementation of anti-corruption character education in universities in Yogyakarta as the 'high' category (51.6%; N = 1218, µ = 4.28, σ = 0.702). Further analysis was also carried out using nonparametric statistical analysis of the Kruskal Wallis test showing that there were significant differences between cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects (p <0.05). The results also showed that there were varying perceptions among the academic community regarding anti-corruption character education. This was influenced by individual characteristics, including gender (male and female), higher education classification (private and state universities), study program clusters (humanities and social sciences and natural sciences and technology), and classification of academicians (lecturers, education staff, and students)

    This study interprets the discourse on polygamy recommendations for cadres of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) which is framed in national online news media. The national media selected as research objects are Kompas, Sindonews, and CNN Indonesia. News as the unit of analysis is the recommendation of polygamy for PKS cadres in the three online media. News is limited to 1 (one) news each, namely specifically published on September 30, 2021. The theory used to answer the discourse is the framing of Zongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki. The conclusion of the study is that Kompas, Sindonews, and CNN Indonesia developed framing to disagree with the idea of polygamy for PKS cadres.     This study aims to describe the implementation of PAI learning on developmentally disabled students at SLB C Negeri Tulungagung. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. This research results in PAI learning, which is carried out at SLB C Negeri Tulungagung by using the lecture, question and answer method, discussion, and a demonstration using video. The use of videos for developmentally disabled students is constructive in learning activities because they require repetition of material from the video. The supporting factors for PAI learning at SLB C Negeri Tulungagung are adequate facilities for learning at school, the participation of student guardians, quota assistance from the government, and the selection of appropriate learning media. While the inhibiting factors include the absence of special PAI teachers, the use of video learning media has not been maximized, not all parents of students have Android-based cell phones, so they are not optimal in delivering material

    This study aims to determine the management strategy used in the development of SDI Al Huda, Kediri City. Al Huda can experience fairly rapid development in the last 2 periods by implementing total quality management. This is based on the strength of the team work to carry out continuous renewal by improving the quality of service both from the internal and external side of the institution. This is evidenced by the fact that in the last 2 periods, Al Huda has been increasing the number of extracurricular activities offered to the community, excelling, having quotas that have increased even beyond capacity, and starting this year, they have been given the mandate to become a driving school. Researchers used qualitative research and phenomenological approaches. The finding of the success of Al-Huda's development competitiveness is by implementing strategic management by reviewing 2 sides, namely internally and externally of the institution, with the application of TQM. The target of the quality of institutional services in the competitiveness of institutional development through two sides, namely: first, internally in the form of: a.) Quality system within the institution by implementing quality assurance; b.) Quality services between education personnel in schools; c.) Quality services between teachers and students; second, externally in the form of: a.) Quality services between schools and parents; b.) Quality service between school and community. [Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen strategik yang digunakan dalam pengembangan di SDI Al Huda Kota Kediri. Al Huda mengalami perkembangan cukup pesat dalam 2 periode terakhir dengan menerapkan total quality management dengan dilandasi kuatnya team work bagian dari kekuatan internal untuk melakukan pembaharuan dan meningkatkan kualitas mutu layanan. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dalam penambahan beberapa kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, pencapaian prestasi, penerimaan peserta didik yang senantiasa meningkat hingga melebihi kapasitas, dan tahun 2022 diberi amanah menjadi sekolah penggerak. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dan pendekatan fenomenologi. Temuan keberhasilan daya saing pengembangan Al-Huda yakni dengan menerapkan managemen strategik dengan meninjau 2 sisi, yakni secara internal dan eksternal lembaga, dengan penerapan TQM.     This article aims to compare character education policies in primary schools in three countries namely Singapore, Japan and South Korea and the impact of these policies on primary schools in Indonesia. this article is motivated by the fact that Indonesia is one of the most populous countries in the world. This is because Indonesia has not been able to control the number of births in Indonesia. Therefore, it is necessary to strive to foster creativity by improving the quality of Education. This is because Indonesia is a developing country, it cannot be separated from the process of improving the quality of Education. This study is a diagnostic study. This writing uses doctrinal (normative) methods, and this article aims to clarify the Policy Foundation in character education. All the information that has been collected is processed by analyzing the results of the literature review by comparing the character of Education from three countries and seeing the impact on character education in Indonesian primary schools. Indonesia's education is becoming more community-centric. International education must be redeveloped in order to change for the better. Comparing the character of Primary School Education of the three countries related to education in East asia and the Pacific, recorded in the WEF World Economic Forum, Singapore ranked 11th and Japan ranked 17th. While South Korea maraih ranked 27th. The three countries are countries that have a high commitment to improving human resources through an education. While Indonesia ranked 65th out of 130 countries in the world. [Artikel ini bertujuan untuk meembandingkan kebijakan pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar di tiga negara yakni negara Singapura, Jepang dan Korea Selatan serta  dampak kebijakan tersebut pada  sekolah dasar di Indonesia. artikel ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fakta bahwa Indonesia adalah salah satu negara terpadat di dunia. Ini dikarenakan Indonesia belum mampu untuk mengontrol jumlah kelahiran di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, perlu diupayakan untuk menumbuhkan kreativitas dengan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Hal ini karena negara Indonesia merupakan negara berkembang, maka tidak dapat dipisahkan dari proses peningkatan kualitas pendidikan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian diagnostik. Penulisan ini mengggunakan metode doktrinal (normatif), dan artikel ini mempunyai tujuan untuk memperjelas landasan kebijakan dalam pendidikan karakter.  Semua Informasi-informasi yang telah terkumpul diolah dengan menganalisis hasil literature review dengan membandingkan karakter Pendidikan dari   tiga negara dan melihat dampaknya terhadap pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar Indonesia. Pendidikan Indonesia menjadi lebih focus pada   community-centric. Pendidikan internasional harus dikembangkan kembali agar bisa berubah menjadi lebih baik. Membandingkan pendidikan karakter sekolah dasar ketiga negara terkait Pendidikan di asia timur dan Pasific, tercatat di WEF World Economic Forum   negara Singapura meraih peringkat ke 11 dan negara Jepang meraih peringkat ke 17.  Sedangkan Korsel maraih peringkat ke 27. Ketiga Negara tersebut merupakan negara yang memiliki komitmen tinggi terhadap peningkatan SDM melalui sebuah Pendidikan.  Sedangkan Indonesia meraih peringkat ke 65 dari 130 negara di dunia

    Pengembangan Model Pembelajaran NHT (Numbered Heads Together) Terintegrasi Games Pada Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia

    Learning is a process of delivering knowledge carried out by the teacher. In the The objective of this developing approach is to understand the description of the needs analysis of the games-integrated Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning model in Bahasa Indonesia subject, how to design games-integrated Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning model in Bahasa Indonesia subject, and to measure the validity of games-integrated Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning model. The type of this research is R&D and was developed using the ADDIE model which consists of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The data collection technique was carried out using interview guidelines given to fifth grade teachers to find out the curriculum used, and the problems experienced by the teacher during the learning process. As for the use of questionnaires and student knowledge tests, they were given to fifth grade students of SDN 9 Matekko as subjects to measure the level of understanding, knowledge and learning abilities of students. Needs analysis using tests showed that students lack of understanding of the essay material resulted in a score below the Cut Score Grading (KKM), and student questionnares showed that students liked the learning model that was carried out in groups and integrated with games. The design of the games-integrated NHT learning model is in the form of a guidebook that contains detailed syntax according to the learning objectives. The validity of the games-integrated NHT learning model showed valid result with a score of 79% for design validation, and very valid with a score of 90% for language validation, and 91% for validation of the learning model implementation [Tujuan dilakukannya pengembangan ini adalah untuk mengetahui deskripsi analisis kebutuhan model pembelajaran NHT (Numbered Heads Together) terintegrasi games pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, mengetahui perancangan model pembelajaran NHT (Numbered Heads Together) terintegrasi games, dan mengetahui tingkat kevalidan model pembelajaran NHT (Number Heads Together) terintegrasi games. Jenis penelitian ini adalah R&D dan dikembangkan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahap analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan pedoman wawancara yang diberikan kepada guru kelas V guna mengetahui kurikulum yang digunakan, dan masalah-masalah yang dialami guru selama proses pembelajaran. Adapun penggunaan angket dan tes pengetahuan siswa, diberikan kepada siswa kelas V SDN 9 Matekko sebagai subyek untuk mengukur tingkat pemahaman, pengetahuan dan kemampuan belajar siswa. Analisis kebutuhan menggunakan tes menunjukkan hasil bahwa kurangnya pemahaman siswa mengenai materi karangan sehingga diperoleh nilai dibawah KKM, dan angket siswa diperoleh hasil bahwa siswa menyukai model pembelajaran yang dilakukan secara berkelompok dan diintegrasikan dengan games. Perancangan model pembelajaran NHT terintegrasi games berupa buku panduan yaitu berisi sintaks yang dirinci sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran. Kevalidan model pembelajaran NHT terintegrasi games menunjukkan hasil valid dengan perolehan skor 79% untuk validasi desain, dan sangat valid dengan perolehan skor 90% untuk validasi bahasa, dan 91% untuk validasi penerapan model pembelajaran
