Perspektif Etis tentang Transplantasi Organ Tubuh: Telaah Kritis atas Pandangan Syekh Yusri Rusydi Sayyid Jabr al-Hasani
No full textOrgan transplantation is a medical procedure involving the transfer of organs, cells, or tissues from a donor to a recipient to address organ failure, damage, or dysfunction. This study delves into the legal and ethical aspects of organ transplantation, focusing on the perspective of Sheikh Yusri Rusydi Sayyid Jabr al-Hasani. Employing a qualitative literature review approach, primary sources such as books, journals, websites, and relevant materials were analyzed. The research reveals that Sheikh Yusri Rusydi Sayyid Jabr al-Hasani considers organ transplantation to be prohibited (haram) because it involves the removal and transplantation of organs entrusted to individuals by Allah SWT as a testament to human uniqueness. This act is seen as a departure from the natural order (fitrah) set by Allah SWT, potentially causing immune complications akin to the condition of AIDS patients. It is important to note that organ transplantation is not merely a means to extend life or evade mortality but rather a transformation of one's way of life, transitioning from a blood-dependent existence to a non-blood-dependent one. This study acknowledges limitations in terms of analysis and the applicability of its findings, primarily stemming from its reliance on a singular scholarly perspective. Therefore, it underscores the need for more comprehensive research, particularly in the context of organ donation and wills, to further enrich our understanding of this complex issue
Menemukan Harmoni dalam Kebenaran Epistemologi Integrasi Islam dan Sains
No full textIslam and science are often considered to have a separator between the two so it has a setback impact on Islamic civilization. The conflict process that exists between Islam and science is capable of giving birth to an extraordinarily complex relationship in the story of human civilization. Even though in reality not all issues between Islam and science always have contradictions in them. The integration of Islam and science is able to lead Muslims towards civilizational achievements. The purpose of this paper is to find harmony in the epistemological truth of the integration of Islam and science. The method used in this research is library, in which this research is faced directly with data sources that already exist in the library or can be said to be ready-to-use data. The results of the study show that the epistemology of the integration of Islam and science has a close relationship with one another
Civil Religion-Based Society; The Contribution of Shalawat Pettengan to the Character Building of Negorejo Community, Probolinggo, East Java
No full textThe rise of theft, robbery, gambling and drug users by the youth of Negorejo Village, Lumbang District, Probolinggo Regency causes mental loss, addiction, and prolonged depression that can affect their peers and minors. The presence of Hadratus Shaykh Habib Ali Bin Muhammad al-Habsyi in 2017 brought solutions and significant changes in overcoming one of these problems by establishing the Pettengan Shalawat Council. The Pettengan Shalawat Assembly is a prayer assembly held at night to instill character values. Since the implementation of Shalawat Pettengan, youths are more civilized and have character; this is evidenced by the low level of drug users by young people, who are starting to realize the true meaning of life and the purpose of life. The implementation of the Pettengan Shalawat aims to grow awareness in shaping the character of youth and society so that they can communicate and establish good relationships with God (hablun min Allah) and others (hablun minannas). In this case, the existence of the Pettengan prayer meeting can direct, guide, and make people moral, dignified, and have a character so that they are helpful to the nation and religion
Tanggung Jawab Suami Dalam Membayar Zakat Fitrah Istri Dan Anak Dalam Tinjauan Hukum Islam
No full textPenelitian dilatarbelakangi adanya kasus pembayaran zakat fitrah yang dibayarkan oleh istri untuk diri dan anaknya dari harta pribadi. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mengetahui mengapa istri membayar zakat fitrah untuk diri dan anaknya dan mengetahui bagaimana tinjauan zakat fitrah yang dibayar oleh istri untuk diri dan anaknya menurut hukum Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan socio legal. Hasil penelitian: (1) faktor yang melatarbelakangi pengabaian tanggung jawab zakat fitrah oleh suami dalam rumah tangga, di antaranya: Faktor kurangnya rasa tanggung jawab suami dalam pemenuhan nafkah dalam rumah tangga, faktor kurang baiknya komunikasi dalam rumah tangga, faktor kecemburuan sosial dalam rumah tangga, faktor kurangnya pemahaman agama suami dalam rumah tangga. (2) Tinjauan hukum Islam terhadap suami yang mengabaikan tanggung jawab pembayaran zakat fitrah istri dan anak, semua faktor yang menjadi alasan suami mengabaikan zakat fitrah keluarga dalam rumah tangga tidak dapat dibenarkan. Perihal tidak mampunya suami untuk memberikan biaya zakat fitrah karena faktor ekonomi menjadi sebuah pengecualian, karena tidak dibebankan kepada seseorang sebuah kewajiban melainkan atas kesanggupannya. Dalam hal istri membayar sendiri zakat fitrah untuk diri dan anak jika dilaksanakan dengan ikhlas maka hal tersebut merupakan sebuah kebaikan bagi diri dan anaknya.
 
Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C) for The Harmony of Sexual Relationship by Islamic Law Perspective
No full textThe practice of female circumcision or FGM/C (Female Genitalia Mutilation/Cutting) in Indonesia is stated as a purification process by removing najis or dirt in female genital area and it is useful for controlling women's sexual desires so that they are far from evil. Based on this motivation, FGM/C makes women increasingly subordinated by placing the assumption of infertility and being responsible for the satisfaction of sexual relations with their partners. Apart from tradition, this phenomenon is also based on the strong influence of Islamic religious doctrine which generally makes parents feel compelled to fulfill it. Through a qualitative approach with descriptive-analytical methods, this research will compile and explain the data that has been obtained to be analyzed and drawn conclusions. The results of this study indicate that there is no concrete evidence that correlates female circumcision with sexual harmony, female circumcision is purely a tradition and not an Islamic teaching
Five Souls-Based Character Education at Tahfizul Quran Boarding School
No full textPesantren prioritizes spiritual improvement and good character for students based on the five souls (panca jiwa). When the soul or mind is stable, it can automatically reveal good character and qualities. The value of the five souls is a combination of various crystallizations of pesantren values, which must be integrated and taught in all santri (Islamic Students) activities. Five souls are enthusiastically assimilated in doing all activities to awaken other positive characters. The discussion aims to find out the form of internalization of character education based on the five souls at the Tahfizul Quran Boarding School in West Sumatra. This research approach is the descriptive-qualitative approach. The discussion results showed that the five young souls are honest, independent, brotherly, and free spirits to prepare the concluding virtuous, noble, and meaningful individuals in better directions in life. Values were instilled by the following methods: the exemplary method, the habitual method, giving advice, methods of motivation and threats, methods of persuasion, and the story method. Supporting factors for implementing character education have good management performance, the active role of the kiai as the pesantren leader and the ustaz with high discipline. The obstacles are students' lack of awareness and willingness to follow the pesantren education system, the difficulty of adjusting to pesantren activities, and not all students being able to comply
The Impact of Recitation and Zikr Tastafi on Religious Social Life; Studies in the City Areas of Banda Aceh, Pidie, and North Aceh
No full textAs a religious nation, Indonesia places religion as the basis for moral, spiritual, and ethical development. Majelis ta'lim is an Islamic non-formal educational institution that has its position in society because the ta'lim assembly is a forum for fostering and developing religious life to form a pious community to Allah SWT. In Aceh, one of the ta'lim assemblies that have an important role in people's lives is the Majlis Zikir Tastafi (Sufism, Tawhid, and Fiqh). Majlis Tastafi is unique compared to others, with a busy congregation spread throughout Aceh with a good network and organizational structure. This study aims to examine the impact of Tastafi's recitation and remembrance on the socio-religious life of the community and to see the community's interest in attending the recitation. This study uses qualitative methods with an in-depth interview and meticulous observation techniques. The results showed that Tastafi's recitation and remembrance had a good impact on the socio-religious life of the community. In addition, the community's interest in participating in Tastafi's recitation and remembrance was very high because it is driven by the desire to gain religious knowledge and inner strength through zikr
Komunikasi Motivasi dan Imperatif dalam Surah Ad-Duha dan Al-Insyirah
No full textSurah Ad-Duha and Al-Insyirah contain motivational messages and command messages from Allah to the Prophet Muhammad. This motivational and imperative communication was effective to make the Prophet excited again to continue the da'wah. This can be a lesson to motivate and order human resources, especially to carry out da'wah tasks. With qualitative research methods, this paper will analyze how the forms of motivational and imperative communication in the two suras are. The data used are surah Ad-Duha verses 1-11 and surah Al-Insyirah verses 1-8, the context of the revelation of the verse and the situation of preaching the City of Mecca at that time. As a result, the content of the motivational message is information so that you can see today's situation correctly, invites you to be grateful for the blessings you have received and information that there is hope in the future. While the contents of the command message are related to the command to preach and do good to people who are in need. The systematic communication of motivation is first followed by command communication. Sentences to invite gratitude are interrogative sentences, while to understand the situation today and tomorrow are news sentences. Then to convey the task is with a command sentence. The diction used in both the motivational and commanding messages is diction that contains positive emotional nuances, there is also a diction for emphasis. In addition, stylistics of sentence structure and rhyming sounds are also used
Spirituality and Posttraumatic Growth in Adolescent Girls with Dating Violence Experience
No full textThere are many cases of violence among adolescent girls who have experienced violence in dating in Indonesia. Even though dating violence is painful, adolescent girls can grow in a way called posttraumatic growth after the event. Spirituality can help people find meaning and purpose in their lives, which may help them recover from trauma. This study aims to determine the significance of the role of spirituality on posttraumatic growth in adolescent girls who have experienced dating violence. This study uses a quantitative approach with DSES to measure spirituality (α=0.932) and PTGI-SF to measure posttraumatic growth (α=0.812). Participants in this study were adolescent girls (15-25 years old) with dating violence experience (N = 309). The result shows that spirituality was crucial for posttraumatic development (R² = 0.156, p =.000). The results of this study can be helpful as a reference for conducting interventions targeted at adolescent girls to increase their spirituality and knowledge of healthy relationships
Living Qur'an in Islamic Educational Institutions at The Elementary Level: A Case Study of Miftahul Falaah Islamic Elementary School of Kediri City
No full textThe purpose of this study is to explore and describe how the implementation of the Living Qur'an concept is carried out in Islamic education at the primary level, as well as how it impacts on students' character and attitude. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation and then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results showed that MI Miftahul Falaah Kediri City has implemented the concept of Living Qur'an in the learning process. Implementation is accomplished by teaching the Qur'an, learning Islamic values through real examples, and habituation in the correct worship procedures. As a result, students were able to understand the Qur'an holistically and practice it in everyday life. In addition, the implementation of Living Qur'an also has a positive impact on student characteristics and attitudes, such as increasing social care, tolerance, and respect for differences. This is because students have become accustomed to applying Islamic values to their daily lives. In addition, this study found that MI Miftahul Falaah's efforts in reviving the Quran were carried out in various ways, including: 1) Implementing Tahfidz Learning; 2) Getting used to reading short letters before learning begins; 3) Implementing Qur'an recitation learning; and 4) Yasin recitation
