    ANALYSIS OF ALTMAN Z-SCORE MODIFIED METHODS IN PREDICTING BANKRUPTCY IN LQ45 COMPANIES

    The purpose of the study was to predict bankruptcy rates in companies indexed in LQ45. The study was conducted on 20 companies as samples taken based on purposive sampling techniques for the period 2019 – 2021. The research method used is explanatory with descriptive investigations. The results showed that companies that met the healthy category in 2019, 15 companies, in 2020, 13 companies, and in 2021, 14 companies.  Grey area category in 2019 – 2020, 3 companies, in 2021, 2 companies. For the bankruptcy category in 2019, 2 companies, and in 2020 – 2021, 4 companies

    PENGARUH KUALITAS PRODUK DAN PROMOSI TERHADAP KEPUTUSAN PEMBELIAN: (STUDI PADA SALAH SATU USAHA KONVEKSI DI KABUPATEN BANDUNG)

    This research was conducted in a convection business in Bandung with the aim of knowing and analyzing the effect of product quality and promotion on purchasing decisions. The research method used is a quantitative method with a descriptive and verification approach. The sample used is respondents who have been as many as 100 people with a sampling technique. Based on the results of the study showed valid results on each item statement with a value of 0.3 and reliable by showing a value above 0.7. For Product Quality (X1) of 0.914, Promotion (X2) of 0.926, and Purchase Decision (Y) of 0.880. From the value (R Square) it is known that the effect of Product Quality (X1) and Promotion (X2) on Purchase Decisions (Y) is 0.836 or 83.6%. Product Quality (X1), Promotion (X2) and Purchase Decision (Y) are in a fairly good category. The regression coefficient value of Product Quality (X1) is 0.426. Promotion regression coefficient value (X2) is 0.397 So it can be said that purchasing decisions are influenced by Product Quality and Promotion by 83.6% while the remaining 16.4% is caused by other variables or other factors not examined. From the results of the research above, it can be concluded that product quality and promotion have a significant influence on purchasing decisions

    The Influence of Service Quality and Brand Image on Purchase Decisions: Study on Consumers of Muslim Fashion Products in Bandung City

    Researchers in Bandung did a study to examine the influence of service quality and brand image on consumer decision-making in purchasing Muslim fashion products. In addition, the research aimed to determine the dominant component, either service quality or brand image, that had the most impact on the purchasing choices of a sample of 100 consumers involved in the study by completing a questionnaire. By employing path analysis, this study substantiated the legitimacy of service quality and brand image factors among customers of Muslim fashion products in Bandung City. Therefore, the results underscore the significance of improving service quality and enhancing brand image to influence purchasing decisions. The findings of the study indicate a substantial relationship between Service Quality and Purchasing Decisions, as well as between Brand Image and Purchasing Decisions. Judging from the results of research on Service Quality on Purchase Decisions for consumers of Muslim fashion products in the city of Bandung, to increase purchasing decisions, companies should be able to improve service quality by providing training on how to be responsive and reliable customer service so they can perform better service than before. Judging from the research results on the effect of brand image on purchasing decisions for Muslim fashion products in Bandung, companies need to build good brand name awareness to improve purchasing decisions. Because it is an effort to form a brand approach to consumers or their target market, this can work through collaboration with Influencers on social media to use products from one of the Muslim fashion products that aim to influence their followers indirectly. In addition, it is necessary to sponsor several events relevant to the same target audience

    The Impact of Price and Promotion on The Consumer's Buying Behavior in The Metropolitan Region of Bandung

    The present research endeavors to examine the impact of price and promotion on the consumer's buying behavior in the metropolitan region of Bandung. The study employs path analysis to establish that consumer choices are significantly influenced by both price and promotion. The study's sample comprises 81 customers, which accounts for 7% of the total transactions that occurred in 2019. The influence of price on consumer purchase decisions is positively correlated, whereas promotion has both a direct and indirect positive impact. The present findings are consistent with prior research, emphasizing the crucial significance of price and promotion in influencing consumer behavior. The findings have led to the formulation of suggestions for enterprises that are functioning in the region of Bandung. It is recommended to perform a thorough examination of diverse pricing benchmarks in order to evaluate competitiveness and the consumer's value proposition. It is advisable to allocate resources towards efficacious promotional strategies in order to augment consumer awareness and stimulate interest in products. The implementation of successful promotional strategies has the potential to exert a favorable impact on the purchasing behavior of consumers. Additional research could delve into alternative factors that may influence consumer decision-making, thereby augmenting comprehension of consumer behavior through the inclusion of supplementary variables. The research acknowledges a number of constraints. The study exclusively centers on the influence of price and promotion in relation to purchase behavior, disregarding other variables such as product excellence, brand image, and customer support. Subsequent studies may consider incorporating these variables to conduct a more thorough analysis. Notwithstanding the aforementioned constraints, this research offers significant perspectives for enterprises in Bandung to guide their pricing and promotional approaches

    Effect of Extrinsic Motivation and Competence on Employee Performance: Study at a Credit Company in the City of Bandung

    This study aims to determine the Effect of Extrinsic Motivation and Competence on Employee Performance in the Indonesian Credit Guarantee General Companies Bandung Branch Office by obtaining accurate data and collecting the necessary data as analysis material. The purpose of this study is to determine the magnitude of the influence of extrinsic motivation, the magnitude of the influence of competence on employee performance, and the magnitude of the influence of extrinsic motivation and competence on employee performance at the Indonesian Credit Guarantee General Company Bandung Branch Office. This study uses descriptive methods and verifiable analysis with the number of respondents 35 permanent employees (sample) from 35 permanent employees (population) at the Indonesian Credit Guarantee General Company Bandung Branch Office, with the results of this study using correlation analysis, path analysis, and coefficient of determination analysis (Kd). Its operations use SPSS software version 22, Microsoft Word 2019, and Microsoft Excel 2019. Based on the results of research that has been carried out at the Indonesian Credit Guarantee General Company, namely the extrinsic motivation to obtain reasonably good results, competence to obtain relatively good results, and performance to obtain reasonably good results. The correlation between extrinsic motivation and competence obtained a positive relationship result of 0.745. The coefficient of determination is 68.5%. The direct and indirect influence of extrinsic motivation on employee performance was 43.24%, and the influence of competence on employee performance was 30.19%, so the total effect was 73.43%, and the remaining 26.57% were other variables that also affected employee performance at the Indonesian Credit Guarantee Public Company Bandung Branch Office but were not researched

    Web-Based Coffee Inventory Application: Case Study on One Of The Coffee Shop In Sukabumi

    This study aims to gain insights into the inventory requirements of a coffee shop, develop and deploy a web-based application to enhance inventory management efficiency and assess the effects of this implementation on the coffee shop's operational processes. The methodology employed encompasses a blend of qualitative and quantitative techniques for data collecting, encompassing interviews, observations, and system testing. These methods are utilized to develop a comprehensive comprehension of the current inventory system and evaluate the efficacy of the recently built web application. The findings indicate that implementing the application resulted in a substantial enhancement in inventory management. This condition was achieved through the provision of real-time inventory tracking, a reduction in errors associated with manual recording, and an overall improvement in operational efficiency. The coffee shop workers responded positively to the product, highlighting its user-friendly nature and time-saving capabilities. Nevertheless, the study posits that forthcoming research should contemplate integrating elements such as predictive analytics to enhance stock management capabilities and develop a mobile iteration to augment flexibility and user-friendliness. This study provides additional evidence to reinforce the importance of implementing digital transformations in small-scale enterprises to address prevalent operational obstacles

    A Microanalysis of Employee Retention Strategies: The Case of Selected Convenience Stores and Their Practices

    Maintaining top-tier personnel is difficult for convenience stores, as they must compete against larger businesses with higher budgets and more employee advantages. This study aimed to determine the employee retention management practices in selected convenience stores in Cavite, Philippines. It utilized a descriptive research design and convenience sampling technique to select the respondents. The data was acquired by utilizing self-constructed questionnaires and Likert-scale to determine the effectiveness of employee retention. The study found that most respondents who manage a convenience store have 1 to 9 employees, have been operating for 6 to 8 years, and were small enterprises. The study found that variables such as employee compensation, physical working environment, employee growth, engagement, and employee support were highly effective in retaining employees. The researchers recommend that employees seek a good organization that listens to them and cares about their general well-being. Respectively, managers and/or owners should develop efficient and effective strategies to retain and manage employees in a sustainable manner

    The share price is the share value that reflects the company's wealth that issued the shares. So that the greater the value of the stock price, the higher the value of the company. This study aims to prove the effect of Net Profit Margin (NPM) and Return On Equity (ROE) on stock prices. The research method used in this study is a descriptive verification method on Food and Beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2012-2015 period. To obtain data and information that will support this research, namely by collecting secondary data and testing the multiple regression hypothesis to determine the effect of NPM and ROE on stock prices. Based on the study results showing the results of multiple regression, the equation Y=-144618,665+5167,671 X+6846,367 X from the t-test results obtained tcount results 2,242 with a significant level of 0.05, which is greater than the t-table value of 2.042. From the value R square, it knows that the influence of NPM and ROE Financial Ratios affects stock prices of 0.695 or 69.5%, while the rest is the influence of other factors (variables) not examined. Therefore, the research results above can conclude that NPM and ROE significantly influence stock prices. The research implication suggested increasing the Net Profit Margin (NPM) and Return On Equity (ROE) of the company's stock price in the food and beverage sub-sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.     Most people still have difficulty accessing finance because of a lack or even no credit history. This study aims to develop a data model that predicts a customer's ability to pay from various aspects other than credit history. This study uses the CRSIP-DM (Cross Industry Standard Process Model for Data mining) method. The data used in this study is the Home Credit Default Risk dataset collected by documentation techniques. The data were then analyzed using data modeling analysis techniques, namely logistic regressor, decision tree classifier, random forest classifier, and lgbm classifier. This study found that the best model for predicting client payment ability is the lgbm classifier or the Random Forest Classifier

    The Influence of Motivation and Work Environment on Employee Performance: Study at a Cleaning Service Company in Bandung

    The inception of this study can be traced back to the difficulties encountered by a cleaning service company located in Bandung. The challenges encompass diminished employee motivation and an unfavorable work environment, predominantly attributable to factors associated with human error. The concerns above had an adverse effect on the productivity of the employees. This study aims to assess the impact of motivation and work environment on the performance of employees. The employed research methodology entails a quantitative approach characterized by a descriptive and empirically verifiable framework. The sample population comprises 46 respondents employed in a company located in Bandung. In order to acquire corroborative data and information, primary data is utilized, which is directly gathered from employees of a cleaning service company located in Bandung. The statistical methodology utilized in this study is multiple linear regression. According to the study's findings, all statement items demonstrate validity and reliability, as indicated by correlation coefficients exceeding the predetermined threshold. Motivation exerts a substantial impact on the performance of employees. The work environment can also influence employee performance. Therefore, the present study demonstrates the influence of motivation and work environment on employee performance within a cleaning service company in Bandung
