    EFFECT OF WORK SUPERVISION AND DISCIPLINE ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE: STUDY ON A MANUFACTURING COMPANY IN BANDUNG CITY

    This study aimed to determine the effect of supervision and work discipline on employee performance. This research method uses a quantitative approach with multiple regression analysis. The source of this research uses primary data. This research data collection using a questionnaire. The sample of this research is 57 employees using the saturated sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that partially and simultaneously, there is a significant influence between the variables of supervision and work discipline on employee performance, where supervision and work discipline have a simultaneous effect of 58.8% on employee performance. At the same time, the remaining 41.2% were influenced by other factors not observed in this study. Recommendations for performance the supervision carried out can be hiring human resources following the qualifications. Furthermore, preferably implementing a reward and punishment system for those who have a good or inadequate level of work discipline, pay attention to the level of employee attendance, establish rules, and strict legal sanctions

    The age of postmodernism is part of the rejection of the paradigm of Rene Descrates through Cartesian - Newtonian jargon. This region rarely gets attention in the field of science / management flow in Indonesia. The conceptualization of management science in Indonesia tends to be quantified by statistical and mathematical formulas. The pioneers of this science forget Peter Drucker who introduced the "Heart Management" long ago, forgetting David Boje with the cycle of management postmodernism. The shallowness of the reasoning of Indonesian scientists about the management of postmodernism, may be the biggest consequence of postmodernist education on mere positivisation of science. So that intelligence is built is intelligence that has been structured due to technological progress, what happens.     This study aimed to analyze the effect of macroeconomic variables on Indonesian Islamic stock index. Macroeconomic variables used are the interest rate of Bank Indonesia (BI-rate), inflation, exchange rate, Bank Indonesia Certificates Sharia (SBIS) and world oil prices. By doing effective leadership will result in optimal performance for SME. the center of clothing in Bandung is one of the leading sectors of the local government of Bandung which is expected to provide economic impact for the community and the government. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of factors that affect leadership based on a relationship oriented and task oriented towards performance Sentra business communities in the center of clothing Bandung. Exploratory research methods of data analysis techniques using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM), component-based Partial Least Squares (PLS).     Bale Seni Barli-Kota Baru Parahyangan is one tourist attraction (DTW) art which is located in Kota Baru Parahyangan, Padalarang. Number of tourists visiting Bale Seni Barli-Kota Baru Parahyangan from year to year has increased, but did not meet the expected targets visit the manager. Building a strong Brand Positioning able to provide a reference for tourists in choosing DTW to be addressed which can then influence the decision of tourists to visit a DTW. Therefore Bale Seni Barli-Kota Baru Parahyangan  trying to build a strategy Brand Positioning Fun, Art and Education in order to position itself as DTW which offers attractions and tourist activity-laden art education but still fun for tourists. This study aims to find out about how much influence the Brand Positioning Fun, Art and Education against the decision of visiting tourists in Bale Seni Barli-Kota Baru Parahyangan. In this study, the independent variable (X) is the Brand Positioning and the dependent variable was the decision to visit, with a sample of 100 respondents, data collection techniques using a questionnaire (questionnaire), interviews, documentary studies and literature studies, while data analysis techniques using simple regression. The results showed that the influence strategy Brand Positioning Fun, Art and Education on the decision been run Bale Seni Barli-Kota Baru Parahyangan have a strong influence, which amounted to 83%.     The research objective is to be achieved (1) To know how the placement of employees and job satisfaction in a textile factory Yuniko Asia Prima (2) To determine the effect of the placement of employees on the level of job satisfaction in a textile factory Yuniko Asia Prima. The study populations were employees at a textile factory Yuniko Asia Prima and the sample is taken as many as 83 employees by the simple technique of sampling with multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the placement of employees at PT Asia Prima Yuniko already well underway. Employees of the company were placed in accordance with academic achievement as well as its experience, and in accordance with the physical and mental health. Also according to the employees, the company delivers wages in accordance with the number of dependents received, and promotion according to the marital status of an employee owned. Employee satisfaction gets a positive response from employees. It can be seen that the needs of the wages, the work itself, promotion, co-workers and supervisors and supervisor monitoring can fulfill the wishes of employees. Influence simultaneously, variable placement of employees has a significant influence with employee job satisfaction, and the results of the analysis of the coefficient of determination, the variable placement of employees by 69% has an influence on the formation of employee satisfaction. However partially, variable marital status and age did not have influence on job satisfaction of employees at PT Yuniko Asia Prima.  Keywords: staffing, employee satisfaction

    This research was conducted at the Department of Mines and Energy of West Java Province. The results of preliminary studies obtain findings that employee's performance has not met expectations. Of the many factors causing the observed, supposedly the most dominant influence is the low employee satisfaction are also thought to be caused by his ability and motivation are low. Therefore formulated the problem is: How can directly and indirectly influence the ability and motivation to job satisfaction of employees, as well as how to influence employee job satisfaction on the performance of the Department of Mines and Energy of West Java Province. The method used is descriptive method of analysis, with a total population of 109 employees serve as the respondent (census). The data analysis technique used is the correlation analysis techniques to determine the degree of closeness of the relationship between the study variables and path analysis techniques to determine the effect, directly or indirectly, exogenous variables on endogenous variables. In the operationalization used the help of MSI and SPSS 10 software and Excel.               The results showed that the ability of employees to be in pretty good category, employee motivation is the best category, and employee satisfaction is in the good category, the performance of employees are in good category. The direct effect on the ability of employee satisfaction 0.063, indirect effect through motivational abilities to job satisfaction of 0.091, so the total effect of 0.154. ; The direct effect of work motivation on job satisfaction of 0.538, an indirect influence motivation to work through the ability to work on job satisfaction of 0.091, so the effect totaled 0,629; Influence the ability and motivation to job satisfaction is at .783 the rest of 0,217merupakan influence of other variables. Effect of job satisfaction on the performance is equal to 0, 699 the rest of 0.301 determined by other variables.  &nbsp

    AUDIT QUALITY: THE IMPACT OF EXPERTISE, INDEPENDENCE AND ETHICS OF PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTANT A CROSSSECTIONAL STUDY

    This study aims to determine the effect of expertise, independence, and ethics on audit quality at the Inspectorate of West Java Province. The study in the initial review of this study found that the audit quality is shown in the opinion given by the examiner, including the opinion "Reasonable Without Exception" is a professional audit statement regarding the "fairness" of the financial statements, not a "guarantee" that no fraud was encountered or the possibility of the occurrence of fraud. Fraud in the future also on the problem of procurement of goods and services that cause indications of regional losses, management of accounts that are not following the provisions, causing potential fraud, management of fixed assets that are still problematic both in terms of administration and utilization and the problem is that the value is still found to be immaterial so that the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia gives an opinion "Reasonable Without Exception" (RWE). In the first stage of this research, namely, test the validity and reliability of all valid and reliable variables. In the second stage of conducting a correlation analysis for Expertise, Independence and Ethics on Audit Quality, showing a significant correlation, the relationship between Expertise and Audit Quality obtained a result of 0.813. Independent Relationship with Audit Quality obtained results of 0.751, and the result of Ethics Relationship with Audit Quality obtained results of 0.812. In the third stage, partial regression analysis for all variables proved to be significant, and it was found that the regression coefficient value of Expertise on Audit Quality obtained the result of 0.411. The independent regression coefficient value on Audit Quality is 0.235, and the Ethics regression coefficient on Audit Quality is 0.403. Likewise, in the fourth stage, simultaneous multiple regression analysis of expertise, independence, and ethics has a significant effect on Audit Quality with a total effect of 83.7
