    National Characters: The Effect of Social Media on Youth in The Digital Era

    This research aims to analyze social media's influence on forming Pancasila's character among adolescents in the digital era. The research utilizes a quantitative approach with a survey method and simple random sampling of 100 active social media users among teenagers in Tasikmalaya. The collected data is analyzed using linear regression. The research findings indicate a significant correlation between social media usage and forming of Pancasila characters among adolescents in the digital era. The more frequently teenagers use social media, the lower their Pancasila character tends to be. Additionally, the type of social media users also has varying effects on forming Pancasila's character. Teenagers frequently use social media platforms focused on physical appearance and lifestyle and tend to have lower Pancasila characteristics. This research contributes to the development of theories regarding social media's influence on forming Pancasila's character among adolescents. The results can be a reference for parents and teachers in supervising teenagers' social media usage and cultivating a stronger Pancasila character

    Web-Based Antam Gold Savings and Pawn Calculation Application: Case Study of a Gold Jewelry Manufacturing and Trading Company

    The demand for a user-friendly website that enables the withdrawal of funds from gold savings accounts at Pegadaian has experienced substantial growth amidst the ongoing epidemic. Due to its inherent value and stability, gold assumes particular significance in times of economic uncertainty, allowing individuals to liquidate their savings when necessary. The old approach entailed the manual input of customer information through Excel, which consequently required face-to-face interactions for payment processing. Nevertheless, a significant shift has transpired through the integration of an internet-based platform, facilitating the provision of personal data by clients and thereby establishing virtual profiles to conduct online transactions. Implementing this transformation has resulted in a more streamlined process, enhancing efficiency and improving accessibility for clients. The research methodology employed for this project is descriptive, encompassing direct field observations. Furthermore, the system employs the Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) methodology to analyze and design the system. The main objective is to develop a system that streamlines the procedures of gold pawning and online savings for consumers. The data input process utilizes the PHP programming language, whereby the data is safely stored within a MySQL database. The integration of these elements guarantees a system that is both secure and efficient, effectively addressing the requirements of both customers and administrators

    The Influence of Price Promotion and Discounts on Sales: Study at A Medical Device Company in Medan City

    This study aimed to determine the effect of promotions and price discounts on sales. This research uses quantitative methods. The population in this study is all consumers at a medical device company in Medan City from April to June 2020, totaling 355 buyers. The research sample is 100 consumers, and the determination technique uses random sampling. Data collection methods in this study used observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that partial promotions and price discounts positively and significantly affected sales. Simultaneously promotions and price discounts have a positive and significant effect on sales. In testing the adjusted R square coefficient of determination of 90.4%, the variable promotions and price discounts affect sales.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh promosi dan potongan harga terhadap penjualan.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif.Populasi dalam penelitian yaitu seluruh konsumen yang membeli alat kesehatan pada PT. Indo Karya Perkasa Medan mulai bulan April sampai Juni 2020 yang berjumlah 355 pembeli.Sampel penelitian berjumlah 100 konsumen dan teknik penentuan menggunakan sampling insidental.Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, kuesioner dan dokumentasi.Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis regresi linier berganda.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial promosi dan potongan harga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap penjualan.Secara simultan promosi dan potongan harga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap penjualan. Pada pengujian koefisien determinasi adjusted R square sebesar 90.4% variabel penjualan dipengaruhi promosi dan potongan harga.&nbsp

    Innovation in the transportation sector with the principle of sharing economy has created a new service industry sector, namely online ride-sharing services. Companies can display in a simple but comprehensive manner the nine essential components of a business. A business model is a method that helps companies tell stories about the internal conditions of the company. This study aims to analyze the business model of Noompang using the Business Model Canvas analysis. This research uses descriptive-exploratory method. Data collection using the ghost interview method to the selected driver. Data obtained from interviews with partners, both drivers and passengers Noompang in Bandung - Jakarta and the results of studies of supporting literature. The results obtained from this study are that Noompang benefits from profit sharing with partner companies, profit sharing with driver partners, benefits from the Ovo e-wallet, and benefits from Google / Apple on application downloads

    Cryptocurrency is increasingly showing its popularity as an investment medium that is increasingly taking the attention of the Indonesian people, both common people and experts. This phenomenon is prone to market manipulation by pumping and dumping certain cryptocurrency entities, trapping novice investors. The respondents of this study were taken from Indonesian people who have cryptocurrencies and social media users. The method used in this study is a descriptive quantitative research method with a total of 151 respondents. The data instrument used in this study was a questionnaire distributed online. The results obtained through surveys that have been conducted prove that social media influencers have a positive and significant influence on Indonesian people's cryptocurrency purchasing decisions. &nbsp

    The Effect of Capital Structure and Investment Policy on Firm Value : Case Study of a Company in the Concrete Printing Field

    The researcher conducted this study to determine the influence of capital structure and investment policy on firm value in a concrete printing company. The study analyzes the most dominant factors influencing a concrete printing company's capital structure and corporate policy. The population in this study consists of five years of financial reports from the first to fourth quarters, totaling 20 financial reports from 2015 to 2019. The results of this study prove that capital structure has a significant negative influence on firm value, while investment policy has a significant favorable influence on firm value. The capital structure (DER) and investment policy (PER) have an influence of 89.4% on firm value (PBV), while other unexamined variables influence the remaining 10.6%. To enhance the influence of the capital structure on firm value, companies need to pay attention to their debt level. If the amount of debt exceeds the company's equity, it will increase the capital structure. However, it is essential to note that a high capital structure exerts a negative influence, indicating that an increase in the capital structure (DER) will lead to a decrease in firm value. On the other hand, we expect companies to increase the available investment funds to enhance the influence of investment policy on firm value. This condition is because investment policy has a positive influence on firm value. By increasing investment policy, the firm value will indirectly increase as well. In order to improve the influence of the capital structure and investment policy on firm value, companies should consider the amount of debt and the associated risks. Additionally, companies must allocate funds for corporate investment to maximize profits or returns, which will attract investors to invest in the company. When the capital structure approaches its optimal value, the investment policy should increase firm value simultaneously

    Analysis of Public Service Satisfaction using Artificial Intelligence K-Means Cluster

    Public service refers to the provision of goods, services, and support by the government to meet the community's desires and needs. In order to assess the efficacy of this service, a metric for gauging service quality, referred to as the Community Satisfaction Index, has been devised. This data offers insights into the level of satisfaction within the community regarding a particular service. This study utilizes the K-Means Cluster algorithm, a form of unsupervised machine learning, to categorize data based on similarities and dissimilarities into distinct clusters. The objective of this study is to gain insight and conduct an analysis of the level of satisfaction within the community regarding the information services offered by the Communication and Information Department of West Java Province. Furthermore, the objective of this study is to ascertain the categorization of the public satisfaction index by using the K-Means Cluster technique, employing an artificial intelligence methodology. This approach will enable the identification of the public satisfaction index as well as the identification of specific indicators that necessitate enhancement. The initial step in examining the public satisfaction index through the utilization of Artificial Intelligence involves the application of the K-Means Cluster algorithm, which will generate multiple clusters based on their shared characteristics. The values utilized by each group consist of the integers 1, 2, 3, and 4. Subsequently, an assessment is conducted on each formed group in order to ascertain the most favorable outcomes. The study yielded clusters that were deemed optimal, with smaller values indicating areas in which the services could be enhanced.     This research analyzes the influence of intrinsic motivation, extrinsic motivation, market knowledge, and technological knowledge on individuals' readiness to face risk in the context of entrepreneurship. Through regression and ANOVA analysis approaches, this study aims to identify factors contributing to individuals' attitudes and behaviors in confronting challenges in entrepreneurial endeavors. The results of the Model Summary analysis indicate that intrinsic and extrinsic motivation significantly impact readiness to face risk, while market and technological knowledge also positively relate to a proactive attitude toward risk. The implications of these findings are relevant for policy development and focused entrepreneurship education. This research provides a deeper insight into the factors influencing individuals' preparedness to face risk in the entrepreneurial world, forming the basis for efforts to foster a dynamic and innovative entrepreneurial culture within society

    Implementation Of the People's Market Application to Improve the Performance of MSMES In Kendal Regency: Integration of Theory Acceptance Model (TAM) And Extended Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB)

    The emergence of Covid 19 has devastated the performance of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) including in Kendal Regency. Through the People's Market application, it is hoped that it can encourage the performance of MSMEs after the pandemic. However, the problem that occurs is that users of the People's Market application in MSME players are still low which can hinder growth and competitiveness in the digitalization era. This study aims to analyze the behavior of MSME players in adopting the People's Market application in Kendal Regency through the integration of the Theory Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Extended Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). This research is a causality study using seven main variables tested from the TAM and TPB models, namely: perceived benefits; perceived ease of use; attitude in adopting the People's Market application; subjective norms; perceived behavioral control; behavioral intention in adopting the People's Market application; and actual behavior. The sample of this study used a purposive sampling method with a total sample that met the criteria of 231 respondents. The data was obtained from distributing questionnaires via google form. The data were statistically tested through the AMOS program. The results showed that perceived benefits and perceived ease of use affect attitudes. Attitude affects the behavioral intention of traders in adopting the People's Market application. However, subjective norms and perceived behavioral control have no significant effect on behavioral intentions. The results also prove that behavioral intentions can encourage merchants to carry out actual behavior in adopting the People's Market application.Munculnya Covid 19 telah memporakporandakan kinerja Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) termasuk di Kabupaten Kendal. Melalui aplikasi Pasar Rakyat diharapkan dapat mendorong kinerja UMKM setelah pandemi. Namun, permasalahan yang terjadi yaitu pengguna aplikasi Pasar Rakyat pada pelaku UMKM masih rendah yang dapat menghambat pertumbuhan dan daya saing di era digitalisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perilaku pelaku UMKM dalam mengadopsi aplikasi Pasar Rakyat di Kabupaten Kendal melalui integrasi Theory Acceptance Model (TAM) dan Extended Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kausalitas dengan menggunakan tujuh variabel utama yang diujikan dari model TAM dan TPB, yaitu: manfaat yang dirasakan; kemudahan penggunaan yang dirasakan; sikap dalam mengadopsi aplikasi Pasar Rakyat; norma subjektif; kontrol perilaku yang dirasakan; niat perilaku dalam mengadopsi aplikasi Pasar Rakyat; dan perilaku sebenarnya. Sampel penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel yang memenuhi kriteria sebanyak 231 responden. Data tersebut diperoleh dari penyebaran kuesioner melalui google form. Data diuji secara statistik melalui program AMOS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manfaat yang dirasakan dan kemudahan penggunaan yang dirasakan berpengaruh terhadap sikap. Sikap berpengaruh terhadap niat perilaku pedagang dalam mengadopsi aplikasi Pasar Rakyat. Namun, norma subjektif dan kontrol perilaku yang dirasakan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap niat perilaku. Hasil penelitian juga membuktikan bahwa niat perilaku dapat mendorong pedangan untuk melakukan perilaku sebenarnya dalam mengadopsi aplikasi Pasar Rakyat.     The cause of the decrease in the number of policies is due to a strategy to increase customer loyalty that is lacking in the company, where this strategy has a very big impact on increasing or decreasing the number of policies on the product chosen by each customer. Customer loyalty is a form of customer commitment to a product repeatedly and even permanently. Mitra Ekawarsa Personal Accident is a form of self-protection from risks that might occur. Qualitative research is obtained from primary data sources by conducting direct observations at companies, conducting interviews, secondary data is complementary data used as a basic reference for theory, obtained through jurnals, etc. The aim of this research is to find out how to increase loyalty to a Mitra Ekawarsa Plus Personal Accident product at the AJB Bumiputera 1912 Mean company using SWOT & QSPM analysis. The ST strategy in this research is making a strategy by applying the company's internal strengths so that it can avoid or minimize the consequences of several threats originating from foreign companies.The results of this stage show that increasing numbers of employees in the marketing department who are honest and responsible has the highest TAS score with a value of 4.905. Thus, increasing the number of employees in the marketing department who are honest and responsible is a recommended strategy that companies should implement in order to increase customer loyalty to the company.Penyebab berkurangnya jumlah polis ini dikarenakan strategi meningkatkan loyalitas pelanggan yang kurang ada pada perusahaan, dimana strategi ini berdampak sangat besar terhadap bertambahnya atau berkurangnya jumlah polis pada produk yang dipilih oleh setiap pelanggan. Loyalitas pelanggan merupakan bentuk komitmen pelanggan terhadap suatu produk secara berulang-ulang bahkan permanen. Personal Accident Mitra Ekawarsa merupakan bentuk perlindungan diri dari risiko yang mungkin terjadi. Penelitian kualitatif diperoleh dari sumber data primer dengan melakukan observasi langsung pada perusahaan, melakukan wawancara, data sekunder merupakan data pelengkap yang dijadikan acuan dasar teori, diperoleh melalui jurnal, dll. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui cara meningkatkan loyalitas pada produk Personal Accident Mitra Ekawarsa Plus di perusahaan AJB Bumiputera 1912 Mean dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT & QSPM. Strategi ST dalam penelitian ini adalah membuat strategi dengan menerapkan kekuatan internal perusahaan sehingga dapat menghindari atau meminimalkan akibat dari beberapa ancaman yang berasal dari perusahaan asing. Hasil dari tahap ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin banyak karyawan di bagian pemasaran yang jujur ??dan bertanggung jawab mempunyai nilai TAS tertinggi dengan nilai 4,905.
