    The Concept of Successor Heirs as a Contemporary Ijtihād in the Perspective of Ulama Dayah in Woyla District

    The Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI), Article 185, in Indonesia recognizes the concept of a successor heir. In contrast, traditional fiqh holds that the right to inheritance is lost if the prospective heir dies before the decedent. Meanwhile, ulama dayah in Woyla District continue to adhere to classical fiqh texts and have not adopted the KHI’s provisions regarding successor heirs. This study aims to examine the views of ulama dayah in Woyla District on the concept of successor heirs and to analyze the concept from the perspective of Islamic law. The research employs a field study methodology with a juridical-normative-empirical approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed descriptively. The findings reveal that ulama dayah in Woyla District are unfamiliar with the concept of successor heirs as found in classical faraidh (Islamic inheritance law) literature. A paternal grandson may inherit in place of his deceased father if there are no other sons, whereas a maternal grandson cannot replace his deceased mother in the line of inheritance (patah titi). Furthermore, Islamic law, as reflected in the Qur’an, hadith, and sunnah, does not acknowledge the concept of successor heirs. In contrast, the Compilation of Islamic Law does recognize such a concept. These findings indicate a fundamental difference between the views of the ulama dayah in Woyla and the provisions of the KHI, particularly regarding the position of grandsons in inheritance matters

    Dayah Buket Eqra Al Haramain is a Salafi Dayah whose target is for students to be able to read the Yellow Book independently, within a minimum of two months and Dayah alumni are expected to be able to continue their education to a higher level in the Middle East. In order to achieve this program, Dayah implements digital literacy as a support in learning activities. This is marked by Dayah's openness to information and references available on digital platforms. This research aims to determine the reasons for the openness of Dayah Bukit Eqra Alharamain to information and references available on digital platforms and aims to determine the application of digital literacy in Dayah Bukit Eqra' Alharamain, West Aceh. This research is field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the research show that the Dayah's openness to advances in digital literacy is due to the fact that there are several applications and references that are considered relevant to the material being taught and are really needed to broaden the insight of the students and answer challenges and problems in society, so the students are allowed to apply them. to use digital media to assist the learning process under the supervision of the teacher council.     The recurring issue of tidal flooding in coastal areas has led to changes in the physical and social environment of the community. Tidal floods disrupt daily activities and livelihoods, affecting the fulfillment of basic needs. To survive, the community must adopt survival strategies to endure these conditions. This study aims to analyze the survival strategies of the coastal community in Pekalongan facing tidal floods. The research employs a qualitative descriptive analysis method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the Pekalongan coastal community, especially in Mulyorejo Village, employs survival strategies through physical and social adaptation. These strategies can be categorized as active, passive, and network-based, reflected in the physical structure of houses and the community's decision to stay due to a shared sense of solidarity, fostering familial bonds

    Snakes and Ladders Game: an Effort to Boost Students' Learning Outcomes

    This study aims to evaluate student learning outcomes through the use of the Snakes and Ladders game. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in cycles, including the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The study was carried out in the 5th-grade class at MIN 15 Aceh Barat during the first semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The sample comprised 22 students. Data collection techniques included observation, testing, and documentation, with data analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The results indicate that: (1) The classical student learning outcomes in the pre-cycle were 0%, increased to 31.82% in Cycle I, and further improved to 86.36% in Cycle II, reaching a good category. (2) The teacher's ability to use the Snakes and Ladders game was rated as fairly good in Cycle I at 2.9 and improved to 3.5 in Cycle II, categorized as good. (3) Student responses to learning with the Snakes and Ladders game were positive, with an average percentage of agreement and strong agreement at 96.4%. It can be concluded that student learning outcomes can be enhanced through the use of the Snakes and Ladders game in teaching spatial shapes at MIN 15 Aceh Barat

    The school institution acts as a forum to support and implement education and also as a place for the learning process to occur. Education is a means to develop the ability to create a smart nation's life and shape the behavior of students who are faithful and devoted to the creator. However, currently, the development of the world of education is not as it should be, it can be seen from the various problems that occur in the education line, especially bullying behavior. Therefore, this study aims to find out the cultivation of Islamic values and the factors that influence the cultivation of Islamic values in preventing bullying in madrasas. This research is a field research that uses a qualitative approach. The subject of this research uses the purposive sampling technique, where data collection uses observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Then the data analysis techniques used are data reduction, presentation, and verification. The results showed that the cultivation of Islamic values in preventing bullying at MIN 13 Nagan Raya is carried out by instilling moral values, aqidah values, and worship values. Moral values are instilled through exemplary and habituation approaches (shaking hands at the gate and Muhazarah). The value of aqidah is instilled through tawhid character education with madrasah and a touch of the Quran. The value of worship is instilled through a habituation approach (Tahfidz qur'an and wired Yasin). The supporting factors for the cultivation of Islamic values in bullying prevention at MIN 13 Nagan Raya are the involvement of the principal and collaboration between parents and teachers. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors for the cultivation of Islamic values in preventing bullying at MIN 13 Nagan Raya are inadequate facilities and infrastructure and a lack of collaboration between teachers

    Jumlah janda lansia dhuafa terus meningkat seiring dengan dinamika demografi dan minimnya jaminan sosial yang layak. Mereka menjadi kelompok rentan yang tidak hanya mengalami keterbatasan ekonomi, tetapi juga keterasingan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis dampak pemberdayaan yang dilakukan oleh Oemah Singgah Al-Irsyad Cirebon terhadap peningkatan kemandirian sosial dan ekonomi janda lansia dhuafa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode pemberdayaan yang diterapkan meliputi pembinaan spiritual, pelatihan keterampilan sederhana, penguatan komunitas sosial, dan pendampingan emosional. Secara sosial, para penghuni mengalami peningkatan kepercayaan diri, relasi interpersonal, dan partisipasi dalam kegiatan komunitas. Sementara secara ekonomi, meskipun terbatas, mereka mulai menunjukkan kemandirian dalam mengelola kebutuhan pribadi dan menghasilkan karya sederhana. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi pendekatan sosial dan nilai-nilai keislaman mampu menciptakan model pemberdayaan lansia dhuafa yang bermartabat, relevan, dan dapat direplikasi

    Perkembangan teknologi digital telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam sektor keuangan, khususnya perbankan syariah. Transformasi digital memungkinkan layanan keuangan syariah menjadi lebih efisien, cepat, dan mudah diakses, namun di sisi lain menimbulkan tantangan seperti rendahnya literasi keuangan syariah di kalangan generasi muda serta risiko keamanan data dan privasi digital. Penelitian ini mengkaji hubungan antara transformasi digital dan literasi keuangan syariah dengan fokus pada tantangan teknologi dalam perbankan syariah. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan analisis deskriptif-analitis terhadap berbagai literatur terkini. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan literasi keuangan syariah berbasis teknologi interaktif yang tetap berlandaskan prinsip syariah sangat penting untuk mendorong inklusi keuangan dan keberlanjutan transformasi digital perbankan syariah. Sinergi antara inovasi teknologi dan strategi edukasi yang efektif menjadi kunci untuk mengatasi tantangan dan memaksimalkan potensi layanan keuangan syariah di era digital.     This study aims to analyze the fulfillment of basic children's rights in Meureubo District, West Aceh Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach with informant selection techniques through purposive sampling, data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study are: in an effort to fulfill children's rights, the Meureubo District Government has created several child-friendly programs, namely: a. Forming a village towards being child-friendly; b. Health centers with child-friendly services; c. Child-friendly Islamic boarding schools; and d. Children's forums. The communities in the research area are trying to fulfill children's basic rights in each cluster of children's rights, but not optimally. This could be due to several factors such as limited human resources, limited budget, and the commitment of leaders and policy implementers is not yet strongPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pemenuhan hak dasar anak di Kecamatan Meureubo Kabupaten Aceh Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengambilan informan melalui purposive sampling, teknik pengambilan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan doskumentasi. Adapun hasil penelitian ialah: dalam upaya pemenuhan hak anak Pemeritah Kecamatan Meureubo membuat beberapa program ramah anak yaitu: a. Membentuk desa menuju layak anak; b. Puskesmas dengan pelayanan ramah anak; c. Pesantren ramah anak; dan d. Forum anak. Masyarakat berupaya untuk untuk memenuhi hak dasar anak dalam setiap klaster hak anak, namun belum secara optimal. Hal ini bisa disebabkan karena beberapa faktor seperti keterbatasan SDM, keterbatasan anggaran, dan komitmen pemimpin dan pelaksana kebijakan belum kuat

    Fenomena penitipan orang tua ke panti jompo menjadi isu yang kompleks di tengah masyarakat modern, terutama dalam konteks hukum Islam yang menekankan pentingnya birrul walidain (berbakti kepada orang tua). Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji alasan anak menitipkan orang tua ke panti jompo dari perspektif hukum Islam, serta menganalisisnya melalui pendekatan maqasid syari’ah dan mashlahah mursalah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka terhadap literatur yang relevan, baik dari sisi sosial, psikologis, maupun hukum Islam. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa keputusan menitipkan orang tua tidak selalu mencerminkan pengabaian tanggung jawab, melainkan sebagai respons atas kondisi tertentu seperti keterbatasan fisik, ekonomi, hubungan keluarga yang renggang, atau keinginan orang tua sendiri. Dalam kerangka hukum Islam, tindakan ini dapat dikategorikan mubah jika dilakukan atas dasar udzur syar’i dan bertujuan menjaga kemaslahatan orang tua. Penulis menyimpulkan bahwa penitipan dapat diterima secara normatif dan etis apabila anak tetap menjaga hubungan emosional dan tanggung jawab moral dan spiritual. Oleh karena itu, pendekatan kontekstual yang menggabungkan aspek profesional dan afektif menjadi solusi yang relevan dalam menjaga substansi nilai birrul walidain di tengah dinamika keluarga modern

    Hakikat pengembangan manajemen pendidikan Islam menjadi fokus utama dalam memastikan bahwa pendidikan Islam tidak hanya relevan dengan kebutuhan kontemporer, tetapi juga tetap setia pada nilai-nilai dan prinsip-prinsip yang mendasarinya. Penulis melakukan penelitian kualitatif yang termasuk dalam kategori penelitian kepustakaan. Berbagai sumber yang berkaitan dengan hakikat perkembangan manajemen pendidikan Islam, antara lain buku, jurnal, artikel, majalah, dan literatur terkait lainnya digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Data yang terkumpul kemudian diperiksa dan dilakukan analisis metode deskriptif kualitatif, khususnya model interaktif Miles dan Huberman (1994), yang melibatkan pengumpulan, menghubungkan, mereduksi, menyajikan, dan menarik kesimpulan/verifikasi dari data. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengertian Manajemen Pendidikan Islam, hakikat pengembangan Manajemen Pendidikan Islam, kepemimpinan dalam pengembangan Manajemen Pendidikan Islam, dan pendidikan Islam dalam konteks pendidikan nasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen adalah serangkaian aktivitas terstruktur yang bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan penggunaan berbagai elemen penting yang ada dalam sebuah organisasi atau lembaga guna mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan, manajemen pendidikan Islam sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan efektivitas proses pembelajaran, pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana, serta sumber daya manusia pada lembaga pendidikan Islam. Masih banyak lembaga pendidikan Islam yang belum memahami konsep dan praktik manajemen pendidikan Islam secara menyeluruh. Pengembangan manajemen pendidikan Islam secara holistik mengacu pada pendekatan komprehensif yang mempertimbangkan semua aspek yang terkait dengan pendidikan Islam, baik dari segi spiritual, intelektual, sosial, maupun fisik. Pemimpin dalam pendidikan Islam adalah teladan bagi seluruh komunitas pendidikan, baik siswa maupun staf, dalam menjalankan tugas-tugas mereka sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip Islam. Pendidikan Islam dalam konteks pendidikan nasional merupakan bagian integral dari sistem pendidikan yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang ajaran Islam serta mengintegrasikannya dengan nilai-nilai universal yang diakui dalam konteks nasional
