Biol Pharm Bull 19, 1580-1585.[[abstract]]本研究目的在探討桂花萃取物提高生物體內抗氧化能力,提高體內麩胱甘肽的效果,並進而達到噪音聽損下的抗聽損之功能性。在第一部分,以動物模式來探討桂花 75 % 乙醇萃取物的抗氧化功效。採用 4 週 BALB/c 小鼠,分成控制組 (C) 及桂花高劑量組 (HKFE),管餵 14 天後,發現 HKFE 能有效提高肝、脾、肺、腎及腦部的總抗氧化能力及 GSH 含量,並降低脂質過氧化之功效。第二部分,進行人體實驗,探討以 1 g 及 2 g 桂花所浸泡之桂花茶對於人體抗氧化之功效,結果顯示 2 g 桂花茶飲用 7 天,即可提體內總抗氧化能力及 GSH 含量。第三部分,將桂花製成不同劑量之桂花膠囊,將受試者分成 控制組、100 mg 組、200 mg 組、300 mg 組、400 mg 及 500 mg。服用 60 天後,結果顯示,服用 400 mg 桂花膠囊組在服用 2 個月後總抗氧化能力提升 7.71 ± 1.51 %, GSH 含量提升 14.61 ± 2.19 % 。而 500 mg 桂花膠囊之受試者在服用 2 個月後總抗氧化能力提升 8.62 ± 1.50 %,GSH 含量則提升 17.36 ± 3.62 % 。因此 400 mg 及 500 mg 桂花膠囊服用 60 天後之效果接近於飲用 2 g 桂花茶 1 個星期。由於前三部分研究顯示發現,桂花萃取物能有效提升抗氧化能力之效果,因此,第四部分針對南部某啤酒廠員工進行抗聽損及抗氧化之研究。給予 24 位勞工不同配方之抗氧化保健食品,隨機分成控制組、單方組及複方組,服用 270 天。結果顯示,在廠內環境噪音均能音壓均超過 90 dBA 之噪音作業場所,勞工之純音聽力檢查發現,複方組受試者服用 270 天後,4000 Hz 暫時性聽力損失有效降低 (p < 0.01)。而在抗氧化分析研究結果顯示,複方組受試者能有效提高體內之總抗氧化能力、GSH 含量及 GPx 活性;降低 GSSG 含量及 SOD 活性。因此,推論桂花是能提高抗氧化能力,進而有效減緩暫時性聽力損失。 Sweet osmanthus contains many anti-oxidative constituents. This study evaluated the antioxidant capacity and the content of GSH of Osmanthus fragrans flower extract in vivo, and effectiveness evaluation of Osmanthus fragrans flower extract for anti-hearing loss. In part 1, effect of oral administration the Osmanthus fragrans of 75 % ethanol extract for 14 days in BALB/c mice. The BALB/c mice were divided into two groups: control group (C) and 1g/kg B.W. group (HKFE), the result found significant increases total antioxidant capacity and significant decreases TBARs on liver, spleen, lung, kidney and brain. In part 2, effects of antioxidant 1g and 2g Osmanthus drinks in vivo. The results showed that increasing the total antioxidant capacity and GSH level in human with the consumption of 2g Osmanthus drinks for 7 days. In part 3, effect of the different doses Osmanthus fragrans capsule comsumption after 60 days, the results show consumption of 400mg Osmanthus capsules after 60 days taking to enhance the total antioxidant capacity and GSH level that equivalent of drinking of 2g (high dose group; HD) Osmanthus drinks after 7 days.
