Get PDFGeometry is one of the main materials for learning mathematics in elementary schools. So that students as prospective elementary school teachers should have mastered the concept of geometry. In addition, prospective elementary school teacher students should also know the level of students' geometric thinking. The goal, before the teacher knows the level of thinking of students, he should know the level of geometric thinking he has. The reference used in looking at the geometric thinking level is the Van Hiele thinking level. This study aims to identify the leveling of the geometric thinking stage of elementary school teacher students using the Van Hiele thinking level. PENERAPAN MODEL PROJECT BASED LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKAT HASIL BELAJAR PENDIDIKAN PANCASILA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR
Get PDFThe aim of the research using this method is to improve and improve student learning outcomes through the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model in class 1 Pancasila Education subjects. This research uses classroom action research (PTK), where this research method provides direct action in in class. Based on the results of research and discussions regarding improving student learning outcomes using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model, it can be concluded that the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model can improve Pancasila Education learning outcomes for class 1 students at SDN Jemur Wonosari I/417 Surabaya. This is proven from the data that has been obtained, namely in cycle I as many as 16 students completed their learning with a score of 57%. Meanwhile, there were 12 students who did not complete with a score of 43%. Meanwhile, in cycle II, 22 students completed their studies with a score of 78%. Meanwhile, there were 6 students who did not complete with a score of 22%
PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN MAKE A MATCH TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP IPS SD
Get PDFThis study aims to determine the differences in the influence of the make a match learning model compared with expository learning models on the understanding of students' social science concepts. This research uses quasi-experimental research with pretest - posttest control group design. The subjects in this study were students at Tanggul Rejo 2 Public Elementary School in Marabahan District, consisting of class V A totaling 20 students as experimental class and 22 students of class V B as control class in semester II of the academic year 2017/2018. The selection of the experimental class and the control class based on the characteristics of students that are almost the same, by random method. The random results of class V A were selected as the experimental class using the make a match learning model and class V B as the control class using the expository learning model. The data analysis technique used independent sample t-test and paired sample t-test with the help of SPSS 23 for Windows. The results showed that the make a match learning model had a more significant effect than the expository learning model on the understanding of the social studies concept of students in SDN Tanggul Rejo 2 with a significance value of 0,000 <0.05. Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh model pembelajaran make a match dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran ekspositori terhadap pemahaman konsep IPS peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen semu (quasi-eksperimental research) dengan desain pretest ? posttest control group design. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik SDN Tanggul Rejo 2 Kabupaten Marabahan, terdiri dari kelas V A berjumlah 20 peserta didik sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 22 peserta didik kelas V B sebagai kelas kontrol pada semester II tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Pemilihan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol berdasarkan karakteristik peserta didik yang hampir sama, dengan cara random. Hasil random terpilih kelas V A sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran make a match dan kelas V B sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran ekspositori. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji independent sample t-test dan paired sample t-test dengan bantuan program SPSS 23 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran make a match berpengaruh lebih signifikan dibandingkan model pembelajaran ekspositori terhadap pemahaman konsep IPS peserta didik di SDN Tanggul Rejo 2 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05
The Effectiveness of Project-Based Writing Toward Students’ Mastery of Grammatical Accuracy
No full text Teaching grammar has been one of the most challenging issues in Indonesia. Teacher-centered approach and the lack of students‟ motivation are among the factors limiting students to master grammar. The study aims at investigating the effectiveness of project-based writing toward students‟ mastery of grammar based on their motivation level. The study used a 2X2 factorial research design involving 60 students in two groups in one of high schools in Landak Regency, West Kalimantan. The data were collected through test and questionnaires. SPSS 20 was used for analyzing the data. The finding reveals that project-based writing is effective toward students‟ mastery of grammar. Besides, motivation level is also effective toward students‟ grammatical accuracy. Lastly, the analysis of variance shows that there is no interaction among students‟ motivation, techniques, and students‟ grammar with the level of sig. value at 0.821. The study suggests that teachers must be able to consider the presence of both a project and motivation in teaching and learning, especially to teach grammatical accuracy
Developing Video-Based English Textbook for Elementary School Students
No full textIn the Curriculum 2013, English is excluded from the Elementary School Subjects, especially for the State Elementary Schools. Some private elementary schools keep teaching English to their students. One of them is SD Kristen Widya Wacana Jamsaren. The English teachers found difficulty in providing a textbook that covers the students’ need. This is a Research and Development (R & D) study which conducts the preliminary survey, designing and developing the prototype of the product, conducting limited testing and product validation, having a revision process and describing the research result. This study is aimed at finding out the students’ need and providing a video-based textbook to teach English for the sixth grade students of SD Kristen Widya Wacana Jamsaren. The video-based textbook is developed based on the need analysis, syllabus and some theories related to teaching English to young learners.
MENINGKATKAN PARTISIPASI AKTIF PESERTA DIDIK MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN DISKUSI DAN TEAMS GAMES TOURNAMENT (TGT)
Get PDFPenelitian dilatarbelakangi dengan permasalahan partisipasi aktif peserta didik pada kegiatan berkelompok pada mata pelajaran Matematika Tingkat Lanjut di SMAN 6 Surabaya yang sangat beragam, terdapat peserta didik yang memiliki keterampilan berkolaborasi yang rendah, sedang dan juga tinggi. Sehingga dari permasalahan tersebut mempengaruhi hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitiani ini bertujuani untuk meningkatkan partisipasi aktif pada proses pembelajaran peserta didik dalam berkelompok melalui Model Pembelajaran Diskusi dan Cooperative Learning Tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT). Penelitian yang dilakukan ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan hasil dari kuesioner peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada observasi awal yang dilakukan melalui pra siklus diketahui rata-rata partisipasi aktif peserta didik di kelas XI-4 dalam kategori rendah sebesar 59%, maka dilakukan usaha dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran diskusi menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi aktif peserta didik meningkat menjadi kategori cukup yaitu sebesar 71% namuni masih terdapat bebrapa peserta didik yang belum aktif selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Dilakukan perbaikan pada siklus II dengan menerapkan Model Pembelajaran TGT menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan partisipasi aktif peserta didik menjadi sebesar 90%. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menerapkan Model Pembelajaran Diskusi dan TGT dapat meningkatkan partisipasi aktif peserta didik di kelas XI-4 SMAN 6 Surabaya

No full textArtikel ini mengkaji dan meneliti teori relativitas Einstein beserta kajiannya di dalam Perspektif Al-Quran. Metode peneltian yang digunakan yaitu Literatur Review dengan mengumpulkan berbagai macam artikel dan buku terkait. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah konsep relativitas waktu Einstein telah disampaikan Allah SWT di dalam AlQuran jauh sebelum Einsten merumuskan postulatnya. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian studi literatur ini ialah konsep waktu yang dikaji dalam perspektif Al-Quran memiliki persamaan dengan apa yang dipostulatkan Einstein yaitu waktu yang dapat berubah sesuai keadaan subjeknya.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kegiatan pramuka di SDN Madyopuro 4 dilihat dari sudut pandang pendidikan karakter. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Kegiatan Pramuka di SDN Madyopuro 4 menjadi sarana pendidikan karakter yang terstruktur, mengembangkan keterampilan dasar serta menanamkan nilai religius, budaya, kepedulian lingkungan, dan potensi diri siswa melalui aktivitas rutin dan metode pembelajaran praktis.
Meningkatkan Minat Belajar Peserta Didik Melalui Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Teams Game Tournament
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) untuk meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik di kelas XI pada Materi Matematika Tingkat Lanjut SMAN 6 Surabaya. Matematika sendiri merupakan pembelajaran yang menjadi hal yang menakutkan bagi peserta didik. Oleh karena itu pendidik harus bisa selalu meningkatkan minat belajar oeserta didik agar dapat memperoleh hasil belajar yang memenuhi KKM. Peserta didik yang selalu merasa bosan dan monoton dalam pembelajaran yang dilakukan akan menyebabkan penurunan minat belajar dan berpengaruh pada hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dalam minat belajar peserta didik setelah dilakukannya model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT). Pada angket minat belajar siklus 1 meningkat menjadi 87% dan pada siklus 2 menjadi 90%. Pada hasil belajar siklus 1 meningkat menjadi 89,70% dan pada siklus 2 menjadi 96,67%. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa minat belajar peserta didik dapat ditingkatkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) pada kelas XI SMAN 6 Surabaya
