PENERAPAN DESAIN 4D PADA PENGEMBANGAN BUKU AJAR LOGIKA BERHITUNG MELALUI ANALISIS BERPIKIR SISWA SD
This development research aims to be able to produce textbooks using 4D models for prospective elementary teacher students by emphasizing the results of analysis of elementary students' thinking and character education based. In addition, this study aims to determine the appropriateness of numerical logic textbooks through analysis of elementary school students' thinking. The development model used was adapted from the 4D development model with four stages namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Data collection and analysis techniques used are documentation to obtain data related to textbooks, observations in analyzing the thinking flow of elementary school students and also during trials, as well as the results of validation from material and language experts. The results of the development showed that the feasibility of material and language obtained an average score of 3.88 with the Good category so that the textbook was declared valid and could be used in lectures. While the limited trial results obtained an average score of 4.3 in the category of very practice and in the final trial the average score of 4.2 obtained in the category of very practice.
Abstrak: Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk dapat menghasilkan buku ajar menggunakan model 4D untuk mahasiswa calon guru SD dengan menitikberatkan pada hasil analisis berpikir siswa SD dan berbasis pendidikan karakter. Selain itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penilaian kelayakan buku ajar logika berhitung melalui analisis berpikir siswa SD. Model pengembangan yang digunakan diadaptasi dari model pengembangan 4D dengan empat tahapan yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Teknik pengumpulan dan analisis data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi untuk memperoleh data terkait buku ajar, observasi dalam melakukan analisis alur berpikir siswa SD dan juga saat uji coba, serta hasil validasi dari ahli materi dan bahasa. Hasil pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa kelayakan materi dan bahasa diperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 3,88 dengan kategori Baik sehingga buku ajar tersebut dinyatakan valid dan dapat digunakan dalam perkuliahan. Sedangkan hasil uji coba terbatas diperoleh rerata skor 4,3 dengan kategori sangat praktis dan pada uji coba akhir diperoleh rerata skor 4,2 dengan kategori sangat praktis
KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MAHASISWA PGSD PADA SISTEM PERTIDAKSAMAAN LINEAR DUA VARIABLE BERDASARKAN TAKSONOMI SOLO
Problem solving is one of the objectives of learning mathematics. Not only for school students but also college student, especially PGSD students. The level of students' ability to solve problems can be seen using SOLO taxonomy. Using the SOLO taxonomy, the quality of students' answers to a problem can be analyzed based on the complexity of understanding. SOLO's taxonomy consists of 5 levels, namely (1) Pre-Structural Level, (2) Uni-Structural Level, (3) Multi-Structural Level, (4) Relational Level, (5) Expanded Abstract Level. This study uses qualitative research that describes the ability to solve the problem solving linear inequality system of two variables in PGSD students using SOLO taxonomy. The results of this study indicate that the ability of PGSD students to solve problem solving problems varies. From the five SOLO taxonomic levels, there are PGSD students who meet levels 2 to 5, namely the Uni-Structural Level, Multi-Structural Level, Relational Level, Expanded Abstract Level. There are no students who meet level 1 in the SOLO taxonomy namely Pre-Structural Level.
Abstrak: Pemecahan masalah merupakan salah satu tujuan dari pembelajaran matematika. Tidak hanya pada siswa  sekolah tetapi juga mahasiswa, khususnya mahasiswa PGSD. Tingkatan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah dapat dilihat menggunakan taksonomi SOLO. Taksonomi SOLO dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis kualitas jawaban siswa terhadap suatu masalah berdasarkan kompleksitas pemahaman. Taksonomi SOLO terdiri dari 5 tingkatan, yaitu (1) Level Pre-Struktural, (2) Level Uni-Struktural, (3) Level Multi-Struktural, (4) Level Relasional, (5) Level Abstrak yang  Diperluas.  Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif yang mendeskripsikan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal pemecahan masalah sistem pertidaksamaan linear dua variable pada mahasiswa PGSD menggunakan taksonomi SOLO. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kemampuan mahasiswa PGSD dalam menyelesaikan soal pemecahan masalah berdasarkan taksonomi SOLO menunjukkan tingkatan yang berbeda-beda. Dari lima level taksonomi SOLO, ada mahasiswa PGSD yang memenuhi level 2 sampai 5 yaitu Level Uni-Struktural,  Level Multi-Struktural, Level Relasional, Level Abstrak yang  Diperluas. Tidak ada mahasiswa yang memenuhi level 1 pada taksonomi SOLO yaitu Level Pre-Struktural
THE CHALLENGES FACED BY EFL PROSPECTIVE TEACHERS DURING TPACK DEVELOPMENT
The high level of Technological Content Knowledge (TCK) among prospective student teachers in their TPACK profile has significant implications. This indicates that these students possessed a strong understanding of how to effectively integrate ttechnology into their teaching practices, specifically in relation to the content they were teaching. This proficiency in TCK enables them to utilize technological tools and resources in a purposeful and pedagogically sound manner, enhancing the overall quality of instruction in the classroom. As a result, these prospective teachers are better equipped to meet the demands of the digital age and provide meaningful and engaging learning experiences for their future students. However, it is important for them to continue developing their pedagogical and content knowledge along with their technological skills to ensure a comprehensive and well-rounded TPACK profile
ENHANCING STUDENTS' UNDERSTANDING OF PAST TENSE THROUGH QUIZIZZ: A GAME-BASED EDUCATIONAL TOOL
Quizizz is a game-based educational platform. Quizizz becomes one of educational technology most applied since the pandemic of Covid-19. It provides both lives and assignment quiz. Since the past tense is one of important grammar that can help students to deliver their ideas about past event or experience. This paper will explore some steps of using Quizizz in teaching Past Tense. Moreover, this paper describes the benefit of Quizizz in upgrading students’ past tense understanding. The Use of Guided Writing to Improve Students’ Writing Skill
This article reports a study on the implementation and the improvement of guided writing towards the student’s writing skill and to know the respond of the students towards the implementation of guided writing in the teaching and learning process at the second semester students of English Diploma III of Language and Culture Faculty in 17 Agustus 1945 Semarang University in the academic year of 2017/2018. The second semester students had problems dealing with writing skill. They have difficulties on: (1) expressing their idea in writing; (2) constructing correct sentences; and (3) vocabulary mastery. This study was categorized as a classroom action research. The study was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle was consisted of four steps: plan, action, observation, and reflection. To collect the qualitative data, the researcher used observation. To collect the quantitative data, the researcher conducted tests before and after the research implementation. In this research, the researcher used guided writing and communicative & process approach to improve student’s writing skill. The result of the research shows that guided writing could improve the students’ writing skill. Through guided writing, the students showed great interest to be actively involved to the teaching and learning process. The students were able to construct sentences correctly. In this case, the sentences they constructed were based on the researcher’s explanation. They also used more vocabularies in their writing. Their mean score of the pre-test was 63.3, while their mean score at the post-test, increased up to 76.1.
An Analysis of Teacher Speech Act in Giving Motivation for English Students
Speaking is defined as a reflection of the students’ ability to communicate in English. Compared to the other language skills, speaking is considered to be more difficult because it occurs in real time, and when we speak we cannot edit and revise what we want to say, as we can do in writing. Speaking skill was considered as a difficult skill to be maintained; therefore, an extensive practice is required to perform. However, students tend to be silent in the classroom since they lack of self-confidence. Students need more practice, so that they could learn to express their feeling, thought, idea, emotion and intention, whereas, teachers should create a good situation in teaching learning process in the classroom. Gallery walk is one of the most learner centered activities which provides good situation in teaching learning process. It is a presentation method in which individual learners or groups displayed their products, and they walked around the room viewing others’ work. The purpose of this paper is to describe gallery walk technique to teach speaking in Senior High School. This technique seems to be suitable to provide fresh atmosphere in teaching English especially in Speaking
Kecukupan Kemampuan Matematika Bagi Calon Guru Fisika
Artikel ini membahas terkait pentingnya kecukupan kemampuan matematika calon guru fisika. Penelitian ini bertujuan membahas pentingnya memiliki bekal kemampuan matematika yang mencukupi bagi mahasiswa calon guru fisika. Memiliki kecukupan kemampuan matematika menjadi syarat bagi calon guru fisika dalam menyelesaikan persoalaan fisika. Mahasiswa calon guru fisika bukan hanya belajar konsep fisika saja, tapi bagaimana bisa mencari hubungan matematis dari permasalah fisika kemudian menyelesaikannya. Tanpa memiliki kecakapan matematika yang memadai, calon guru fisika tidak dapat mengantarkan murid-muridnya tuntas dalam mengajarkan fisika secara menyeluruh. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi literatur. Hasil penelitian ini didapat bahwa menjadi mahasiswa calon guru fisika minimal memiliki dua jenis kemampuan matematika yaitu kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan komunikasi matematis.
WORKSHOP PEMBUATAN CHIPS TULANG IKAN LELE UNTUK MENUMBUHKAN KARAKTER KEWIRAUSAHAN ANAK
Workshop ini dilatarbelakangi oleh potensi desa Wadungasri yang memiliki pengolahan Dimsum dari daging ikan lele. Tujuan dari workshop ini adalah untuk menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan pada siswa SD dalam mempersiapkan mereka untuk belajar menjadi calon wirausahawan masa depan yang kreatif dan inovatif serta mengimplementasikannya dalam kegiatan P5 di sekolah dan menanamkan karakter pada siswa. PENGARUH LKPD BERBASIS DISCOVERY LEARNING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN LITERASI SAINS MAHASISWA
The aim of this research is to determine the effect of Discovery Learning-based Student Worksheets (LKPD) on students' scientific literacy abilities. The type of research used is a pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest. Data collection was carried out by testing students' literacy abilities. The test instrument was prepared by emphasizing three aspects of scientific literacy, namely concepts, processes, and scientific context. The research sample was students of PGSD STKIPAL Hikmah Surabaya. Hypothesis testing was carried out using a paired sample t-test assisted by the SPSS program. The swimmer test carried out was a normality test using the Shapiro-Wilk test. The research results show that Discovery Learning-based LKPD has an effect on students' scientific literacy abilities. This research aims to integrate Islamic values to build the character profile of Pancasila students in elementary schools. The method used in this research uses a library research method or approach. The results of this research show that the Pancasila student profile is one of the policies that supports the realization of national education goals and the continuation of character strengthening programs. The Pancasila student profile is the character and competency that Indonesian students must have. Through the application of the 6 dimensions of the Pancasila student profile, namely faith and devotion to God Almighty, global diversity, independence, mutual cooperation, critical thinking and creativity, it is hoped that the Indonesian nation will become intelligent individuals who have character and of course instill the values contained in Pancasila.
