    HUBUNGAN ANTARA KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL DAN PERKEMBANGAN SOSIAL TERHADAP KEDISIPLINAN SISWA KELAS X DI SMK NEGERI 1 BANJARBARU

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) apakah kecerdasan emosional berhubungan signifikan terhadap kedisiplinan siswa, (2) apakah perkembangan sosial berhubungan signifikan terhadap kedisiplinan siswa, dan (3) apakah kecerdasan emosional dan perkembangan sosial secara simultan berhubungan signifikan terhadap kedisiplinan siswa kelas X di SMK Negeri 1 Banjarbaru. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 189 siswa. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket, dan data dianalisis menggunakan uji t, uji F, dan uji koefisien determinasi (R²). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kecerdasan emosional (X1) berhubungan signifikan terhadap kedisiplinan siswa, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 t tabel; (2) perkembangan sosial (X2) juga berhubungan signifikan terhadap kedisiplinan, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 dan t hitung 4,074 > t tabel; dan (3) secara simultan, kecerdasan emosional dan perkembangan sosial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kedisiplinan siswa dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 dan F hitung 39,407 > F tabel. Nilai R Square sebesar 0,586 menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel independen memberikan kontribusi sebesar 58,6% terhadap kedisiplinan siswa. Maka, seluruh hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima

    Cross-Cultural Adaptation and Psychometric Evaluation of the Job Satisfaction Scale in Indonesia

    This study aimed to adapt and validate the Job Satisfaction Scale (JSS) developed by Çalışkan and Köroğlu (2024) for use in the Indonesian context. The adaptation process followed the International Test Commission (ITC) guidelines, including forward–backward translation, expert review, and readability testing. A quantitative ex post facto research design was employed, involving 250 employees from both public and private sectors across Indonesia. Data were analyzed using Cronbach’s alpha to assess internal consistency and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) to evaluate construct validity. The results demonstrated excellent internal consistency for the overall scale (α = 0.956), with strong reliability coefficients for the Internal Satisfaction dimension (α = 0.901) and the External Satisfaction dimension (α = 0.925). The CFA results indicated an excellent model fit, with goodness-of-fit indices meeting recommended criteria (CFI = 0.999; RMSEA = 0.025), thereby confirming the two-factor structure of the scale. These findings indicate that the Indonesian version of the JSS possesses robust psychometric properties and can be considered a valid and reliable instrument for assessing job satisfaction among Indonesian employees. The scale is therefore suitable for use in both research and organizational assessment contexts. Future studies are recommended to examine measurement invariance across different occupational groups and regional settings to further strengthen the generalizability and applicability of the instrument

    Kepercayaan diri memiliki peran penting dalam perkembangan psikologis perempuan dewasa awal, terutama dalam hal bagaimana individu memandang diri, membuat keputusan, dan menjalin hubungan sosial. Di era media sosial, platform seperti TikTok seringkali memperkuat standar kecantikan yang dapat memengaruhi persepsi diri dan tingkat kepercayaan diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh citra tubuh terhadap kepercayaan diri pada pengguna TikTok perempuan usia 18–24 tahun di Karawang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala citra tubuh dan skala kepercayaan diri yang dikonstruksi peneliti. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linier sederhana dengan hasil nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga H₀ ditolak dan Hₐ diterima, yang berarti citra tubuh berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kepercayaan diri. Nilai R² sebesar 41,9% menunjukkan bahwa citra tubuh memberikan kontribusi yang cukup besar terhadap kepercayaan diri, meskipun masih ada faktor lain yang turut memengaruhinya. Hasil ini menegaskan pentingnya peran citra tubuh dalam membentuk kepercayaan diri, khususnya pada perempuan dewasa awal yang aktif di media sosial

    Identitas gender merupakan pandangan subjektif individu terhadap gender yang mereka rasakan, yang belum tentu sesuai dengan jenis kelamin saat lahir. Ketidaksesuaian tersebut dapat menimbulkan tantangan psikososial, khususnya ketika individu tidak memiliki dukungan dari lingkungan sosial terdekat. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengulas peran mikrosistem khususnya keluarga, teman sebaya, hubungan romantis, dan komunitas dalam mendukung perkembangan identitas gender pada anak dan remaja. Literatur menunjukkan bahwa individu dari kelompok gender minoritas lebih rentan terhadap diskriminasi sosial, yang berdampak pada kesejahteraan psikologis mereka. Menariknya, tekanan sosial juga ditemukan signifikan pada laki-laki cisgender karena ekspektasi maskulinitas yang tinggi. Meskipun belum ada intervensi tunggal yang efektif mengatasi semua risiko, keberadaan lingkungan sosial ditemukan menjadi faktor protektif yang kuat dalam perkembangan identitas gender yang sehat

    INTEGRATING FABLE VIDEO VIA YOUTUBE TO ENHANCE EFL STUDENTS’ LISTENING SKILL

    Listening becomes one of the skills that is very important to master. Unfortunately, many EFL students lack in listening. This study aimed to help EFL students develop their listening skills by integrating fable videos. This research used classroom action research. The participants of this study consist of 31 tenth-grade 3 students at SMAN Arjasa, Jember. The instruments used by the author were an observation checklist and a listening test, and to collect the data, the author observed the students in every cycle of cycle 1 and 2, and also conducted the listening test at the end of each cycle. The data were analyzed by classification and scoring. The use of fable video as the media significantly improved students’ listening comprehension and became an effective tool that can engage students' participation during the learning process, also understandable within the context existing in the video. The use of interactive and effective media, such as fable video, is really needed to improve students' listening skills and participation

    THE EFFECT OF DIFFERENTIATED LEARNING ON EFL ACHIEVEMENT: A META-ANALYSIS

    The present meta-analysis explored the effects of differentiated learning on EFL learners' achievements, examining the impact of various moderating factors․ The study synthesized eight experimental studies (2014–2025), adhering to PRISMA guidelines, and found that differentiated Instruction had a large, statistically significant effect on English achievement (Hedges' g = 1․92)․ Overall effect sizes were evaluated, and moderator analyses were applied to assess variation by educational level, language-learning target, and geographical region․ The study revealed that learners at the primary level demonstrated greater gains in English achievement than their secondary-level peers, suggesting age-related responsiveness to differentiated instruction․ The study showed that those who learned reading and writing skills improved more than those who learned general English language learning․ The findings indicate that differentiated learning can be aligned with learners' needs and characteristics to make the teaching–learning procedure more personalized and interactive․ This study, therefore, favors more research into finding how best differentiated learning can be implemented in different educational domains

    Infographics as a medium of historical publication has significant potential in conveying complex information in a simpler and easier to understand way. This research analyses the use of infographics as a medium of historical publication in the distribution of tetrarchs and monuments of the 1947-1949 Physical Revolution in Bantul Regency. The purpose of this research is to examine the effectiveness of infographics in presenting historical information in an interesting and easy-to-understand manner for the public, especially the younger generation. Although there are several sources of history books available, the challenge of presenting complex information in an interesting and effective way for the public, especially the younger generation, remains a significant issue. The research method used is qualitative with a historical methodology approach, which includes the stages of heuristics, verification, interpretation, and historiography. The results show that infographics can effectively improve people's understanding of local historical heritage through a more visual and attractive presentation. By developing infographics that map important locations, this research is expected to enrich historical publications and increase public appreciation of historical events that occurred in Bantul

    The Influence of Self-Compassion and Psychological Well-Being in Quarter-Life Crisis Among Students

    The phenomenon of the quarter-life crisis frequently occurs among individuals aged 20 to 30 years, a period known as emerging adulthood. This prolonged crisis phase is primarily attributed to low levels of well-being, which are influenced by self-compassion—a factor with both preventive and promotive potential. This study aims to examine how self-compassion affects the psychological well-being of emerging adults experiencing a quarter-life crisis in Surabaya. Employing a quantitative research approach, the study utilizes a closed-ended questionnaire for data collection. The findings confirm that self-compassion has a positive impact on psychological well-being and serves as a protective factor in coping with the quarter-life crisis. By recognizing difficulties as a natural part of life, students with higher self-compassion are better able to accept themselves, regulate their emotions effectively, and develop more stable psychological well-being

    IDENTIFIKASI HAMBATAN BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI KONSEP PERSAMAAN DAN PERTIDAKSAMAAN NILAI MUTLAK SATU VARIABEL

    Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi hambatan-hambatan belajar siswa pada konsep persamaan dan pertidaksamaan nilai mutlak satu variabel. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan paradigma interpretif dan paradigma kritis.  Subjek penelitian merupakan siswa kelas X Sekolah Menengah Atas Swasta (SMAS) di Kota Bandung Provinsi Jawa Barat. Subjek dipilih berdasarkan materi yang sudah dipelajari mengenai persamaan dan pertidaksamaan nilai mutlak satu variabel. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan wawancara. Tes terdiri dari 4 soal tentang materi persamaan dan pertidaksamaan nilai mutlak satu variabel yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli matematika. Setelah siswa menyelesaikan tes, peneliti mengamati  jawaban siswa dan memilih beberapa siswa untuk dilakukan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, siswa mengalami tiga jenis hambatan belajar yaitu hambatan epistemologis, ontogenik, dan didaktis. Siswa mengalami  hambatan epistemologis karena pemahaman konsep yang tidak lengkap dan tidak terbiasa menerapkan konsep matematika yang satu ke konsep matematika yang lain. Kemudian, siswa juga mengalami hambatan belajar secara ontogenik karena tidak memahami konsep persamaan dan pertidaksamaan nilai mutlak sat variabel. Selain itu, proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru juga menjadi faktor dimana siswa mengalami hambatan didaktis. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengilustrasikan dari keadaan kondisi siswa saat mempelajari persamaan dan pertidaksamaan nilai mutlak satu variabel. Dengan temuuan hasil penelitian, diperlukan adanya desain didaktis terhadap materi persamaan dan pertidaksamaan nilai mutlak sat variabel yang dapat meminimalisir terjadinya hambatan-hambatan belajar yang telah teridentifikasi

    The Role of the British East India Company (EIC) in the Collapse of the Mughal Empire From Trade Competition to Political Domination

    The aim of this research is to determine the influence of the British EIC (East India Company) on the process of the collapse of the Mughal Empire, researching from the economic stage to the political field in the Indian subcontinent. This article uses qualitative research of a library nature. Library research uses library data, as well as analysis of each source. After collecting several sources, it emerged that the British with their EIC controlled India starting with controlling trade in all strategic areas of the Indian subcontinent as well as collaborating with local residents, and influencing the rulers to obtain more facilities and trade monopoly opportunities. Then, after the rise of the EIC Economy, the next step was to slowly control politics by influencing local regional policies up to the Mughal Empire and carrying out divisive politics in order to prioritize the position of the EIC in India. So it can be concluded that the EIC was the starting point for imperialism in the Indian subcontinent, from economic control to political influence
