    Proses Berpikir Kritis Siswa dalam Memecahkan Masalah Matematika

    Berpikir kritis menjadi bagian penting dalam pendidikan matematika untuk memproses suatu penyelesaian masalah. Setiap individu memiliki perbedaan dalam proses memecahkan suatu masalah. Proses berpikir kritis yang dimiliki oleh setiap individu juga dapat berbeda-beda. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan proses berpikir kritis siswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematika. Pendekatan dan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek sebanyak 3 siswa kelas VIII I UPT SMPN 2 Wlingi yang mewakili kategori hasil belajar matematika tinggi, sedang dan rendah untuk dianalisis secara lebih mendalam. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti, soal SPLDV, serta pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses berpikir kritis siswa dengan tingkatan hasil belajar matematika yang berbeda, memunculkan indikator berpikir kritis yang berbeda dalam memecahkan masalah matematika.Critical thinking is an important part of mathematics education to process problem solving. Every individual has differences in the process of solving a problem. The critical thinking process possessed by each individual can also be different. This research aims to describe students' critical thinking processes in solving mathematical problems. The approach and type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects were 3 students from class VIII I UPT SMPN 2 Wlingi representing the categories of high, medium and low mathematics learning outcomes to be analyzed in more depth. The instruments in this research were the researcher, SPLDV questions, and interview guidelines. The research results show that the critical thinking process of students with different levels of mathematics learning outcomes gives rise to different indicators of critical thinking in solving mathematics problems

    PENGEMBANGAN SOAL NUMERASI UNTUK PESERTA DIDIK FASE D

    AbstrakAsesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM) merupakan asesmen pada kurikulum Merdeka Belajar yang mengukur kemampuan literasi dan numerasi serta survey karakter pada peserta didik. Kemampuan numerasi peserta didik dapat pula dilatih melalui asesmen diagnostik, asesmen formatif, dan asesmen sumatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan soal kemampuan numerasi untuk peserta didik fase D yang memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis. Formative evaluation (self-evaluation, expert reviews, one-to-one, dan small group) merupakan desain yang digunakan sebagai metode dari penelitian berjenis development research ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan 13 peserta didik fase D sebagai subjek penelitian, 3 peserta didik pada tahap one-to-one dan 10 peserta didik pada tahap small group. Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini adalah berupa produk soal numerasi yang teruji sangat valid (92%) dan sangat praktis (88%). Produk soal yang dihasilkan berupa 30 butir soal numerasi yang memenuhi seluruh komponen Domain, Konteks, Level Kognitif, dan Butir Soal.The Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) constitutes an evaluation within the Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar framework, aimed at gauging students proficiency in literacy and numeracy, alongside conducting a character survey. To enhance students' numeracy skills, various methods such as diagnostic assessments, formative assessments, and summative assessments are employed. This studys objective are to design and develop of numeracy skills questions for students phase D, aligning with criteria of validity and practicality. Formative evaluation (self-evaluation, expert reviews, one-to-one, and small group) is the design used as a method of this development research type. This study cohort encompassed 13 students in phase D, comprising 3 participants engaged in the one-to-one stage and 10 participans involved in the small group stage. The results of this development research are the numeration questions that were tested to be very valid (92%) and very practical (88%). The resulting product of these developmental efforts is a set of 30 numeric items that fulfill all essential components, encompassing Domain, Context, Cognitive Level, and Question Items

    Comic Media Development Remaining World War II Historical Site in Ambon Island

    The purpose of this study was to develop appropriate comic learning media for Ambon Island historical heritage sites for students of the History Education Study Program at Pattimura University. To answer the existing problems, the researcher uses the Research and Development method using the ADDIE research model which consists of five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data analysis technique was carried out descriptively and the data questionnaire was calculated qualitatively for expert validation and quantitatively for testing student respondents in history education study programs. The results showed that the validation results from learning material experts obtained a score of 40 and the percentage was 90%. The validation results from learning media experts obtained a score of 92 with a percentage of 96.8%. The validation results from linguists obtained a score of 31 and the percentage was 88.6%. Meanwhile, for student responses to learning media, a pretest test was carried out on 25 students of the history education study program which was 38.4 while the posttest score was 95.12

    Penggunaan Smartphone dan Problematik Smartphone Use pada Mahasiswa

    Problematic Smartphone Use (PSU) is when someone cannot control their smartphone use and is uncomfortable when not using it. The purpose of his study is to describe the correlation between smartphone use and Problematic Smartphone Use (PSU) in early adulthood. The population in this study was 74 people consisting of 21 male and 53 female students aged 18 - 24 years old and owning a smartphone. The research method that employs is quantitative with a correlational design. Data was collected using Smartphone Usage Questionnaire General and Absent Minded (SUQ-G&A) developed by Marty-Dugas and Problematic Mobile Phone Use Scale (PMPUS) questionnaire developed by PamukAtli compiled into the Google Form apps, and smartphone for as long as 49 hours per week are individuals with PMPUS according to the validity and the reliability correlation between Smartphone Use and PSU (r= 0.920 & = 0.000) and screentime data log as additional data to measure the duration of smartphone use. Individuals who own a smartphone can access their smartphone data log through the digital well-being feature to increase individual awareness of smartphone use so that it does not become problematic

    Big-Five Personality Types of Students in Department of Primary School Teacher Education and the Effects on Self-Directed Learning

    This study aims to determine whether there is a personality influence of the Big Five Personality Traits model on self-directed learning in students of the PGSD study program - at Institut Pendidikan Tapanuli Selatan. The research used a quantitative approach, and the number of research participants was 190 active students in the PGSD study program-Institut Pendidikan Tapanuli Selatan using a voluntary sampling technique. Data collection uses a psychological scale to measure personality, namely the Big Five Personality Scale. And to measure self-directed learning using the self-rating Scale for Self-Directedness in Learning (SRSSDL) by Fisher Instruments. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and processed through SmartPLS3. The study results show a significant positive effect between the two big five personality dimensions, Extraversion and Openness to experience, on self-directed student learning. There was also an insignificant positive effect between the three big five personality dimensions, namely Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, and Neuroticism, on self-directed learning of students of the PGSD study program-Institut Pendidikan Tapanuli Selatan

    PENGARUH MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA DITINJAU DARI SELF CONFIDENCE SISWA

    This study applies a problem based learning model that can be a solution for teachers in optimizing students' mathematical problem solving abilities. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of PBL learning models on students' mathematical problem solving abilities, the effect of self-confidence on students' mathematical problem solving abilities, and see the interaction of PBL and self-confidence models on mathematical problem solving abilities. This research is an experimental study using a posttest only control design. The population of this study was all 7th grade students of SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi in the 2021/2022 academic year as many as 248 students and divided into 8 classes. In this study, the sample used was 64 students who were divided into two classes (experimental class I and control class). The sample is determined by the Simple Random Sampling technique. The instrument used in this research is a self-confidence questionnaire and a test of mathematical problem solving abilities. The data obtained were analyzed using a two-way ANOVA test. The results of this study are that the PBL learning model is more effective in influencing mathematical problem solving abilities than conventional learning, and self-covidance with high and medium categories affects mathematical problem solving abilities more than students' self-confidence in low categories

    Efforts to Increase Students Motivation in Learning History Through Documentary Film Media in Class X SMK Taman Siswa 2 Jakarta

    This article discusses efforts to increase student motivation in history subjects at a vocational high school using a learning medium, namely documentary films. The purpose of this study was to find out the use of documentary films as a learning medium in increasing motivation to study history for class X students majoring in electricity at SMK Taman Siswa 2 Jakarta. This classroom action research took the setting in class X of the Electrical Department of SMK Taman Siswa 2 Jakarta with a total of 35 students. Implementation of activities carried out through 2 cycles. Research data were obtained from observing learning activities, informants (students, teachers, and school principals), documents, and photos of activities with the stages of planning, action, observing, and reflecting. The results showed that there was an increase through the use of Documentary Film media related to student learning motivation in the History subject of class X students in the Electrical Department of SMK Taman Siswa 2. The average student activity reached 70% in cycle 1. In cycle 2 student activity increased by an average 80% in the high category. Students are more active in asking, answering, giving opinions, interacting with groups and collaborating in groups and thinking critically in conveying various arguments regarding various historical events and other social sciences related to these historical events

    Mendorong Kemampuan Membaca Siswa Sekolah Dasar melalui Intervensi Fonik

    The advancement of the nation is determined by human capital quality, one of which is basic literacy (reading). The ability to read is one of the important skills that children must learn during the first years of elementary school (Mujis & Reynolds, 2008). Nevertheless, the problem of reading development has yet become a problem in various area in Indonesia. This study uses an experiment method with single subject research design. The aim of the study was to develop and determine the effectiveness of the phonic intervention model for elementary school students who have difficulty reading and writing. The phonic intervention model in this study was developed based on an assessment of the participants. The intervention was composed of a series of structured verbal instructions propped with reading aids. The results showed that the phonic intervention could improve children's reading skills if applied consistently. The interventions that supported by conducive environment can effectively help the development of reading skills in elementary school students.

    PENGEMBANGAN MODEL BLENDED LEARNING BERBASIS ETNOMATEMATIKA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran blended learning berbasis etnomatematika yang valid, praktis, efektif, dan ampuh untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika. Penelitian dilakukan di SMK Texmaco Pemalang dengan subjek penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas X TKJ 3 sebanyak 37 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan seluruh siswa kelas X TB sebanyak 40 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Jenis penelitian menggunakan penelitian dan pengembangan  dengan tahap studi pendahuluan, pengembangan produk, dan pengujian produk. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu angket validasi model pembelajaran, RPP, dan materi untuk mengukur kevalidan. Angket respon siswa, respon guru, dan keterlaksanaan model digunakan untuk mengukur kepraktisan. Instrumen pre-test dan post-test digunakan untuk mengukur keefektifan dan keampuhan. Model pembelajaran, RPP, dan materi sangat valid dengan skor rata-rata 3,36. Produk dinyatakan sangat praktis dengan rata-rata skor 85%. Produk dinyatakan efektif karena rerata post-test kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibanding kelas kontrol dan produk ampuh karena model blended learning berbasis etnomatematika lebih baik daripada model konvensional. Dengan demikian, produk model pembelajaran blended learning berbasis etnomatematika bernilai valid, praktis, efektif, dan ampuh untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika.

    Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran NHT Berbantu LKPD Berbasis Hots Terhadap Hasil Belajar Ditinjau Dari Aktivitas Belajar

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) berbantu LKPD berbasis HOTS terhadap hasil belajar siswa, dan pengaruh aktivitas belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa, serta interaksi antara model pembelajaran NHT berbantu LKPD berbasis HOTS dan aktivitas belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan posttest only control design yang merupakan penelitian eksperimen. Teknik Random Sampling digunakan untuk menentukan sampel. Sampel ditetapkan sebanyak 64 siswa yang terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Perolehan data dianalisis menggunakan uji anova dua jalur. Hasil penelitian dikemukakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran NHT berbantu LKPD berbasis HOTS dengan hasil belajar siswa SMPN 2 Kartasura, kemudian  terdapat pengaruh aktivitas belajar tinggi, aktivitas belajar sedang, dan aktivitas belajar rendah terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa dan tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran NHT berbantu LKPD berbasis HOTS dengan aktivitas belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa
