    The Influence of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) Model on Students’ Critical Thinking Skills in Indonesian History Learning for Grade X Social Science Class at MAN 2 Tangerang

    This study aims to determine the influence of the problem-based learning (PBL) model on students’ critical thinking skills in Indonesian history learning for Grade X Social Science class at MAN 2 Tangerang. The research was conducted from March 8, 2023, to April 12, 2023. The method employed was a quasi-experiment, using a non-probability sampling technique, with 39 students in both the experimental and control classes. The instrument used in this study was an essay test consisting of 9 items. The hypothesis was tested using the t-test with the pooled variance formula, resulting in a calculated t-value of 2.479, which is greater than the critical t-table value of 1.991 at α = 0.05. Therefore, Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. This finding indicates that the problem-based learning model significantly influences students’ critical thinking skills in Indonesian history learning

    Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis perbedaan perilaku kebosanan antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan selama proses pembelajaran di SMK se-DK Jakarta. Kebosanan merupakan aktivitas individu yang dilakukan secara monoton/berulang-ulang serta kurangnya kebermaknaan terhadap sesuatu, sehingga menimbulkan perasaan tidak nyaman. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif komparatif yang bertujuan menganalisis perbandingan antara dua atau lebih perilaku dari satu variabel maupun beberapa variabel secara bersamaan. Tujuan utamanya adalah mengidentifikasi perbedaan yang terjadi pada berbagai situasi, kejadian, aktivitas, atau program melalui penggunaan analisis statistik. Dalam penelitian ini, analisis Uji Mann-Whitney U digunakan sebagai alat untuk menganalisis perbedaan tingkat kebosanan (kebosanan) yang didasarkan pada perbedaan jenis kelamin. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas siswa-siswa yang bersekolah di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri dan Swasta yang tersebar di wilayah DKI Jakarta. Penelitian ini meneliti tentang aspek-aspek dari kebosanan itu sendiri, yang meliputi: lepas dari keterlibatan, kewaspadaan tinggi, kewaspadaan rendah, kurang perhatian, serta persepsi waktu. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara tingkat perilaku kebosanan (kebosanan) antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa siswa laki-laki cenderung mengalami kebosanan lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa perempuan. Temuan penelitian ini memilki kontribusi sebagai assemant kebutuhan oleh guru Bk disekolah sebagai dasar untuk merancang layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang lebih tepat sasaran, serta mengembangkan strategi intervensi yang efektif dalam mengatasi kebosanan belajar. Implikasi penelitian ini diharapkan kepada pendidik sebagai acuan dalam merancang strategi pembelajaran yang lebih variatif dan interaktif. Hal ini bertujuan menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan, menantang, dan kontekstual, sehingga dapat: meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, membangkitkan motivasi siswa, mengembangkan kemandirian peserta belajar, Dengan demikian, lingkungan belajar diharapkan mampu meminimalkan kebosanan dan memaksimalkan keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam proses kegiatan belajar mengajar kegiatan akademik

    Pengaruh Doxxing terhadap Perilaku Cyberbullying: Analisis Gender dalam Perspektif Psikologi Forensik

    The development of information technology has transformed social interaction patterns through social media platforms, creating digital aggression phenomena such as cyberbullying and doxxing among adolescents. This study analyzes the influence of doxxing on cyberbullying behavior considering gender factors from forensic psychology perspective. Using cross-sectional survey design, data were collected from 577 high school students aged 15-18 years in Gorontalo Province through stratified random sampling. Research instruments included doxxing questionnaire and Cyberbullying in Social Media Scale analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square. Results show doxxing significantly influences cyberbullying in both genders with stronger effects in males, though gender moderation was not statistically significant. From forensic psychology perspective, this study contributes to developing integrative models for digital crime scene analysis and recommends intervention protocols addressing doxxing as gateway behavior.

    Classical Guidance Service using Mind Mapping to Increase Stundents Time Management Skill

    Time management skills are an important factor in supporting success. There are still many students who do not have time management skills. This research aims to improve students' time management skills using classical guidance services with Mind Mapping. The research location is SMAN 4 Metro City. The research sample consisted of 20 class XI students who were chosen randomly. Research data was collected using a time management skills scale. Data were analyzed using comparative statistical techniques. The results of the research show that there is a difference in the average value of time management skills before and after being treated with classical guidance services with the mediaMind Mapping. The results of the hypothesis test show that the significance value (2-tailed) is 0.000 <0.05. Thus, the hypothesis states that there are differences in time management skills before and after being given classical guidance services usingMind Mapping accepted. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, it can be concluded that classical guidance services use Mind Mapping effective for improving students' time management skills

    Hubungan antara Self-Compassion dan Dukungan Sosial Teman Sebaya dengan Prokrastinasi Akademik Mahasiswa UKM

    This study aims to determine the relationship between self-compassion and peer social support with academic procrastination of UKM students. Respondents in this study were undergraduate students who participated in UKM as many as 110 respondents from 15 UKM. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with quota sampling type. This research instrument used a scale of self-compassion, peer social support, and academic procrastination. The results of the correlation coefficient of the three variables were 0.341 with a p value of 0.000 (p <0.01) and the proposed hypothesis was accepted with an effective contribution of 11.6%, meaning that there is a very significant negative relationship between self-compassion and peer social support with academic procrastination. The results of the study showed that self-compassion and peer social support can affect academic procrastination of UKM students. The results of this study are expected to provide information to UKM students about the importance of being kind, compassionate, and understanding towards themselves and how supportive peer social support plays a role, especially when facing difficulties or failures

    Plants from the Apocynaceae family are commonly found in the environment of Lambung Mangkurat University, Banjarmasin, and can be utilized as learning materials, particularly in studying the sub-concept of stomata types. Providing appropriate learning resources and teaching materials that align with advancements in science and technology can enhance students’ learning motivation and engagement. One effective approach is the use of digital teaching materials such as electronic booklets (e-booklets). This study aims to describe the quality of the developed e-booklet based on suitability, feasibility, and readability tests. This research employed a development method using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) proposed by Thiagarajan et al. (1974), conducted up to the dissemination stage in a limited and simplified manner. The subjects of the research and e-booklet evaluation consisted of two lecturers and eight students who had completed the Plant Anatomy course. The results showed that the suitability test obtained an average score of 4.79 (very suitable), the feasibility test obtained an average score of 4.75 (very feasible), and the readability test obtained an average score of 4.68 (very good). These findings indicate that the developed e-booklet is highly appropriate, feasible, and readable for use as a digital learning material in plant anatomy learning.Plants in the Apocynaceae family that are often found in the environment of Lambung Mangkurat University, Banjarmasin and can be used as learning material, especially in the sub-concept of stomata types.  Fulfilling aspects of appropriate learning resources and teaching materials as well as adapting to developments in science and technology can encourage students' desire and motivation to learn, one way that can be done is by using digital teaching materials such as electronic booklets (e-booklet).  This research aims to describe the quality of the results of e-booklet development based on suitability tests, appropriateness tests and readability tests.  This development research used the 4D model (Thiagarajan et al., 1974) which was carried out to the disseminate stage in a limited and simple manner.     The rhizosphere of plants contains diverse microbial communities, including fungi. This study aimed to identify the diversity of fungal colonies in the rhizosphere of plants and to describe the validation results, readability, and student responses toward the developed e-booklet as a learning medium. The e-booklet entitled “Diversity of Microbial (Fungal) Colonies in the Rhizosphere of Capsicum frutescens and Solanum melongena L.” was developed based on research conducted in North Landasan Ulin. The fungal colonies obtained were identified according to their morphological characteristics based on literature, and the findings were further developed into digital learning materials using the ADDIE development model. The validation test was conducted by three expert validators, while the readability and response tests were carried out by twelve students who had completed the Microbiology course in the Biology Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Lambung Mangkurat University, Banjarmasin. The results revealed three microscopic fungal colonies in the Capsicum frutescens rhizosphere soil samples and seven colonies in the Solanum melongena L. samples. The material validation test obtained a score of 98.75% (very valid), and the media validation test obtained a score of 78.66% (valid), indicating that the developed e-booklet is suitable for instructional use. The readability test achieved a score of 89.46% (excellent), and the student response test achieved 90.17% (excellent), demonstrating that the e-booklet is effective and easy for students to understand.Rhizosfer tumbuhan memiliki keragaman mikroba yang berbeda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ragam koloni mikroba (fungi) pada rhizosfer tumbuhan dan untuk mendeskripsikan validasi, keterbacaan dan respon mahasiswa sebagai E-Booklet. Pengembangan E-Booklet ragam koloni mikroba (fungi) pada rhizosfer tanaman Capsicum frutescens dan Solanum melongena L. di Landasan Ulin Utara. Ragam koloni mikroba (fungi) yang didapatkan selanjutnya diidentifikasi sifat-sifat koloni berdasarkan literatur dan dikembangkan menjadi E-Booklet. Pengembangan E-Booklet dilakukan menggunakan model ADDIE. Subjek pada uji validasi dilakukan oleh 3 orang validator, uji keterbacaan dan respon mahasiswa dilakukan oleh 12 orang mahasiswa yang telah lulus memprogramkan mata kuliah Mikrobiologi di Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi PMIPA FKIP ULM Banjarmasin. Berdasarkan penelitian ditemukan 3 koloni jamur mikroskopis pada sampel tanah Capsicum frutescens dan 7 koloni jamur mikroskopis pada sampel tanah Solanum melongena L. yang tumbuh pada medium biakan. Pada uji validasi materi E-Booklet yang dikembangkan memperoleh persentase 98,75% (sangat valid) dan uji validasi media memperoleh persentase 78,66% (valid), artinya E-Booklet sudah layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar. Pada uji keterbacaan memperoleh persentase 89,46% (sangat baik), artinya E-Booklet memudahkan mahasiswa untuk memahami materi-materi yang ada di dalamnya. Respon mahasiswa memperoleh persentase 90,17% (sangat baik), artinya E-Booklet sudah sangat baik digunakan oleh mahasiswa

    Investigating Senior High School Students’ Conceptual Understanding of Heat and Temperature: A Qualitative Analysis in Physics Education

    The distinction between heat and temperature is fundamental in physics learning, yet it remains a persistent source of student misconceptions. Many learners interpret heat as a tangible substance stored within an object or assume that temperature is equivalent to the amount of heat possessed. Such misunderstandings hinder the development of deeper concepts in thermodynamics and energy transfer. This study aims to investigate senior high school students’ conceptual understanding of heat and temperature through a qualitative lens. The research involved 30 Grade XI students from a public high school in Indonesia. Data were collected using a conceptual diagnostic test followed by semi-structured interviews that probed students’ reasoning about everyday thermal phenomena. Thematic analysis was applied to categorize misconceptions and identify underlying reasoning models. Findings revealed four dominant patterns: (1) the substance model of heat, where students described heat as a material that flows from hot to cold bodies; (2) the equation model of temperature, in which temperature was mistakenly treated as the total amount of heat; (3) the cold transfer misconception, where students believed coldness itself moves from one body to another; and (4) the size–temperature confusion, where larger objects were assumed to always have higher temperature. These conceptions align with reports in international literature, indicating the universal nature of such difficulties. The study underscores the value of qualitative exploration for uncovering the reasoning behind misconceptions, not merely their frequency. Implications for teaching include the use of particle-level representations, predict–observe–explain activities, and simple calorimetry experiments to help students reconstruct scientifically accurate models of heat and temperature

    Pengembangan LKPD Berbasis Model PjBL Berbantuan PhET Untuk Meningkatkan Kreativitas Ilmiah Siswa SMA materi fisika

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis model Project-Based Learning (PjBL) dengan bantuan simulasi PhET untuk meningkatkan kreativitas ilmiah siswa SMA. Kreativitas ilmiah merupakan keterampilan penting dalam pembelajaran abad ke-21, terutama dalam memahami konsep fisika yang kompleks. Namun, pembelajaran konvensional yang masih berpusat pada guru menyebabkan rendahnya kreativitas ilmiah siswa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mengembangkan LKPD berbasis proyek yang mengintegrasikan simulasi interaktif PhET untuk mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam eksplorasi konsep energi terbarukan. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Research and Development (R&D) 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), LKPD yang dikembangkan dinilai oleh tiga validator unruk yang mengukur aspek format, isi, komponen, dan bahasa menggunakan skala Likert. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa LKPD yang dikembangkan memiliki tingkat validitas sangat tinggi dengan persentase 94%, dikategorikan sebagai "Sangat Valid." Elemen-elemen dalam LKPD, seperti rancangan proyek, fenomena sains, serta evaluasi yang terstruktur, memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih mendalam dan meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep-konsep fisika. Integrasi simulasi PhET memungkinkan siswa melakukan eksperimen virtual, meningkatkan daya analisis, serta melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kreatif. Selain itu, penggunaan simulasi ini juga membantu siswa menghubungkan konsep fisika dengan fenomena nyata, memperkuat pemahaman mereka terhadap prinsip-prinsip ilmiah. limitasi penelitian belum menguji efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan kreativitas ilmiah siswa secara langsung di kelas. Oleh karena itu, penelitian lanjutan diperlukan untuk mengukur dampak penggunaan LKPD terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreatif, dan pemecahan masalah siswa dalam konteks pembelajaran nyata

    The Effect of Word Wall Application on Historical Thinking Ability of History Subject Students in Class XI IPS at SMAN 4 Serang City

    This study aims to determine the difference in historical thinking skills between students who use evaluation tools based on word wall applications and students who use written tests, as well as to determine the increase in students' historical thinking skills in history class XI IPS at SMAN 4 Kota Serang after using evaluation tools based on word wall applications. This study uses a type of quantitative research with a quasi-experiment approach method, the sampling technique used is non probability sampling. Data collection in this study using pre-test and post-test. The results of this study show that there are differences in historical thinking skills by obtaining a Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.001 ttable = 1.684 then Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, which means that there is an increase in students' historical thinking skills in the XI social studies class history subject at SMAN 4 Serang City after using an evaluation tool based on the word wall application
