    Hubungan Academic Hardiness dan Psychological Well-being pada Mahasiswa Tingkat Akhir Jurusan Keperawatan yang sedang Menyusun Skripsi

    Final year students who experience difficulties or obstacles while preparing their thesis can interfere with their psychological well-being, one of which is the final year students majoring in nursing. They need a personality that can improve psychological well-being in dealing with pressure when compiling a thesis, namely academic hardiness. This research aims to find the significant relationship between academic hardiness and the psychological well-being of final-year students majoring in nursing who write a thesis. This research uses quantitative methods with a research design correlational. The data collection technique used in this research was accidental sampling. The number of research subjects was 204 participants, with the criteria as final-year students nursing majors who are currently writing a thesis and aged 18 – 25 years. The data collection method uses two scales, namely Ryff Psychological Well-Being Scale (RPWBS) developed by Sasaki et al., (2020) and the Academic Hardiness Scale (AHS) revised by Creed et al., (2013). The research result correlation between academic hardiness and psychological well-being is a significant positive relationship between academic hardiness and psychological well-being. Three dimensions of psychological well-being have a significant positive relationship with academic hardiness, namely environmental mastery environmental mastery, purpose in life and personal growth

    Penelitian telah menunjukkan bahwa siswa laki-laki memiliki kemampuan yang lebih baik dalam menerapkan rumus matematika secara tepat dan benar, namun mereka kurang dalam menjelaskan secara rinci langkah-langkah yang diambil dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Sedangkan, siswa perempuan mampu menyelesaikan masalah secara sistematis, namun mereka lupa untuk menuliskan secara jelas penggunaan rumus matematika yang diterapkan, Penting untuk memahami bagaimana perbedaan ini mempengaruhi pencapaian siswa dalam matematika, dengan memahami pendekatan yang berbeda ini, pendidik dapat mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih inklusif. Sehingga, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan commognitive siswa SMP dalam menyelesaikan masalah ditinjau dari gender. Jenis penelitian ini adalaah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Sampit, Kalimantan Tengah. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 4 siswa dengan masing-masing dua siswa laki-laki dan dua siswa perempuan. Data penelitian diambil dari tes tulis siswa dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Tes tulis digunakan untuk mengetahui commognitive siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan commognitive siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah berdasarkan gender memiliki perbedaan. Siswa laki-laki menyelesaikan masalah dengan menggunakan keempat komponen commognitive yaitu word use, visual mediator, routine, narrative. Sedangkan siswa perempuan menyelesaikan masalah dengan tiga komponen commognitive yaitu word use, visual mediator, dan routine. Research has shown that male students have a better ability to apply mathematical formulas precisely and corectly, but they lack in explaning in detail the steps taken in solving problems. Whereas, female students are able to solve problems systematically, but they forget to write down clearly the use of mathematical formulas applied, it is important to understand how these difference affect students achievement in mathematics, by understanding these different approaches, educators can develop more inclusive learning strategies. Thus, This study aims to describe junior high school students commognitive in solving problems in terms of gender. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were VIII grade students of SMPN 2 Sampit, Central Kalimantan. The research subjects were 4 students with two male student and two female student each. The research data were taken from students written tests and inverviews. Data analysis techniques in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusion. Written tests used to determine students commognitive. The results showed that students commongitive in solving gendered problems had differences. Male studens solve problems using all four commognitive components, namely word use, visual mediator, routine, narrative. While female students solve problems with three commognitive components namely word use, visual mediator, and routine.

    PENGEMBANGAN SOAL OPEN ENDED MATEMATIKA BERKONTEKS COVID-19 UNTUK MENGUKUR HIGHER ORDER THINKING SKILLS

    Permasalahan yang ditemui di lapangan adalah soal-soal yang diberikan guru dalam proses belajar mengajar cenderung soal-soal rutin dan belum mencerminkan` soal yang dapat membantu siswa mengasah kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa. Minimnya soal-soal level kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa yang dibuat berdasarkan indikator kemampuan berpikir matematis siswa. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur higher order thinking skills dalam menyelesaikan soal tes matematika SMP/MTs open-ended yang dikembangkan dengan konteks COVID-19 yang memenuhi kriterai valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan HOTS siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model formative reseacrh. Model pengembangan terdiri atas empat tahap, yaitu self evaluation, prototyping (validasi, evaluasi dan revisi), dan field test (uji lapangan). Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa, guru dan peneliti. Siswa dari sekolah MTS N 1 Ketapang Kelas VII C sesi 1 sebanyak 17 siswa tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kevalidan dilihat dari hasil penilaian validator, dimana semua validator menyatakan sudah baik berdasarkan konten, konstruk, dan bahasa. Selain itu, kevalidan soal open-ended ini tergambar setelah dilakukan analisis validasi soal yang berkategori valid yang bernilai rata-rata 80.5%. Kepraktisan dilihat dari hasil field tes yang memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 77,18 yang tergolong dalam kategori baik. Prototype soal open-ended berkonteks covid-19 yang dikembangkan memilki efek potensial yang positif terhadap kemampuan berfikir tingkat tiggi siswa MTs N 1 Ketapang  terlihat dari rata-rata tes adalah 77,35 %. The problem encountered in the field is that the questions given by teachers in the teaching and learning process tend to be routine questions and do not reflect questions that can help students hone their high-level thinking skills. The lack of questions on the level of students' high-level thinking abilities which are made based on indicators of students' mathematical thinking abilities. Therefore, the aim of this research is to measure higher order thinking skills in solving open-ended SMP/MTs mathematics test questions developed in the context of COVID-19 that meet the criteria of being valid, practical, and effective for increasing student HOTS. This research is development research (Research and Development) using a formative research model. The development model consists of four stages, namely self evaluation, prototyping (validation, evaluation and revision), and field test (field test). The research subjects in this study were students, teachers and researchers. There are 17 students from the MTS N 1 Ketapang Class VII C session 1 school for the 2020/2021 school year. The research results show that validity is seen from the results of the validator assessment, where all validators stated that it was good based on content, construct and language. Apart from that, the validity of these open-ended questions was illustrated after validation analysis of questions categorized as valid with an average score of 80.5%. Practicality can be seen from the field test results which obtained an average score of 77.18 which is classified as good. The open-ended prototype questions with the Covid-19 context that were developed have a positive potential effect on the high level thinking abilities of MTs N 1 Ketapang students as seen from the test average of 77.35%

    Adaptation of the Javanese Transmigration Community Towards Jambi Culture in Wanareja Rimbo Ulu Tebo Village 1978-1990

    The aim of writing this article is to know: (1) the beginning of transmigration in Wanareja Village (2) efforts to adapt the Javanese transmigration community to Jambi Culture, (3) the factors inhibiting and driving the adaptation of the Javanese transmigration community in Wanareja Village, and (4) the contribution of the community Javanese transmigration of Jambi Culture in 1978-1990. This research uses a historical research method which consists of 4 stages, namely heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The results of this research are: (1) transmigration in Wanareja Village occurred in several waves. Firstly, in June-October 1978 was filled with Magelang’s and Semarang’s people, secondly in 1979 was filled with Brebes’s People. (2) the efforts of the Javanese people to adapt the Jambi’s Culture, including through communication, achieving goals, integration and latency, (3) the driving factor is limitations in speaking Indonesian and the supporting factor are friendly and flexible attitude by the Javanese transmigration community, (4) the contribution of the Javanese transmigration community are in the religious system is acculturation of the berzanji tradition with Malay rhythms, the knowledge system introducing Weton counting, social organizations forming Karang Taruna, and the living equipment system recognizing the rice planting tool, namely Unjung

    CRITICAL DISCOURSE ANALYSIS OF SOCIO-CULTURAL CONTENT AND POST-PANDEMIC THEMES IN ENGLISH TEXTBOOKS FOR JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL

    The post-pandemic landscape, shaped by COVID-19, has ushered in substantial socio-cultural shifts, particularly in teaching and learning practices. The transition from traditional in-person learning to rapid adoption of online methods, followed by a return to in-person learning, necessitated adjustments in educational habits. This transformation is further emphasized by the Merdeka curriculum's implementation in the Academic Year 2022/2023, influencing the approach of textbook authors. This research uses Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) and Fairclough's three-dimensional model to scrutinize five 7th-grade English textbooks from different publishers within the Merdeka curriculum framework. The analysis explores the socio-cultural and post-pandemic content, providing nuanced insights into how these materials address challenges and transformations induced by the COVID-19 pandemic. Acknowledging the inherent connection between language and socio-cultural elements, the study examines how the textbooks balance Western influences with Indonesian socio-cultural content. Additionally, it investigates how the textbooks incorporate memories of the global pandemic, contributing to the evolving landscape of English education in Indonesia

    THE EFFECT OF TABOO GAME ON ENGLISH SPEAKING ABILITY OF ZEN STUDENTS

    This study aims to determine whether the Taboo game has an effect and significant difference on students’ English speaking ability in the beginner class at Yos Sudarso High School. The research employed a quasi-experimental design, involving a population of 73 students from the beginner class of Yos Sudarso High School academic year 2023/2024. The study conducted in experimental class which consisted of 24 students. The research instrument was an oral test, administered both before and after the treatmenn, to assess students’ speaking ability. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 20. The results revealed that the significance level (2-tailed) <0.05, indicating that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This confirms that the use of Taboo games in teaching speaking is effective. Additionally, the independent t-test showed a significance level (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, demonstrating that teaching speaking using the Taboo game has a positive effect on improving students' speaking ability. Therefore, the research concludes that the Taboo game has a significant and positive effect on the speaking abilities of students in the beginner class of Yos Sudarso High School. The findings of this study imply that incorporating interactive activities like the Taboo game can enhance language learning outcomes, suggesting that educators should integrate similar games to improve students' speaking ability

    PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN REPRESENTASI MATEMATIS MENGGUNAKAN PEMBELAJARAN BERDIFERENSIASI BERDASARKAN GAYA BELAJAR DENGAN PROJECT BASED LEARNING

    Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini diangkat karena hasil wawancara terhadap guru matematika di SMPN 18 Kota Jambi mengindikasikan bahwa kemampuan representasi matematis siswa Kelas VIII tergolong rendah serta tidak sedikit dari mereka yang pasif dalam belajar. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menitikberatkan pada penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berdasarkan gaya belajar menggunakan model PjBL terhadap peningkatan representasi matematis siswa. Penelitian eksperimen ini menggunakan metode True Experimental Design dengan tipe Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Berdasarkan hasil pengambilan sampel acak, diperoleh kelas VIII F sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas VIII G sebagai kelompok kontrol dengan jumlah 28 siswa pada setiap kelasnya. Penelitian dilakukan pada materi SPLDV di semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Dalam memperoleh informasi digunakan instrumen berupa angket, lembar observasi dan tes. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berdasarkan gaya belajar dengan Project Based Learning efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Peningkatan tertinggi diperoleh oleh siswa dengan gaya belajar kinestetik, yang mencapai kriteria tinggi dengan skor peningkatan sebesar 0,743.The problem in this study was raised because the results of interviews with mathematics teachers at SMPN 18 Jambi City indicated that the mathematical representation skills of Class VIII students were low and many of them were passive in learning. Therefore, this study focuses on the application of differentiated learning based on learning styles using the PjBL model to improve students' mathematical representations. This experimental research uses the True Experimental Design method with the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design type. Based on the results of random sampling, class VIII F was obtained as the experimental group and class VIII G as the control group with a total of 28 students in each class. The research was conducted on SPLDV material in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 school year. In obtaining information, instruments such as questionnaires, observation sheets and tests were used. The research findings show that the application of differentiated learning based on learning styles with Project Based Learning is effective in improving students' mathematical representation skills. The highest improvement was obtained by students with kinesthetic learning style, which reached high criteria with an improvement score of 0.743.

    REPRESENTASI MATEMATIS SISWA DALAM MEMECAHKAN MASALAH NUMERASI KONTEN ALJABAR BERDASARKAN GENDER

    Numerasi merupakan kemampuan yang diperlukan dalam dunia pendidikan saat ini. Salah satu kemampuan yang mendukung numerasi adalah representasi matematis. Namun dalam hal ini masih ditemukan masalah terkait representasi matematis. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa dalam memecahkan masalah numerasi konten aljabar berdasarkan gender. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari empat siswa SMA Negeri 1 Mojosari, yaitu 2 siswa laki-laki dan 2 siswa perempuan. Tahapan penelitian ini yaitu pemberian masalah numerasi aljabar pada siswa dan penentuan subjek penelitian berdasarkan gender serta hasil tes masalah numerasi aljabar. Kemudian dilakukan wawancara dengan subjek terpilih. Triangulasi data yang dilakukan untuk uji keabsaan data ialah pemberian tes masalah numerasi aljabar dan wawancara pada waktu yang berbeda. Hasil penelitian ini merupakan deskripsi tahapan pemecahan masalah dari siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Diperoleh hasil siswa laki-laki dan siswa perempuan menggunakan representasi verbal pada tahap memahami masalah dan tahap merencanakan strategi. Terdapat perbedaan siswa laki-laki menggunakan representasi simbolik, visual, dan verbal pada tahap melaksanakan strategi, sedangkan siswa perempuan hanya menggunakan representasi simbolik dan verbal. Pada tahap memeriksa kembali siswa laki-laki dan siswa perempuan menggunakan representasi verbal.Numeracy is a necessary skill in today's education. One of the skills that support numeracy is mathematical representation. However, in this case there are still problems related to mathematical representation. This descriptive qualitative research aims to describe students' mathematical representation ability in solving numeracy problems based on gender. The research subjects consisted of four students of SMA Negeri 1 Mojosari, namely 2 male students and 2 female students. The stages of this research are giving algebraic numeracy problems to students and determining research subjects based on gender and algebraic numeracy problem test results. Then an interview was conducted with the selected subject. Data triangulation carried out to test the validity of the data is the administration of algebraic numeracy problem tests and interviews at different times. The results of this study are a description of the problem solving stages of male and female students. The results obtained from male students and female students using verbal representations at the stage of understanding the problem and the stage of planning the strategy. There are differences in male students using symbolic, visual, and verbal representations at the strategy implementation stage, while female students only use symbolic and verbal representations. At the stage of checking back male students and female students use verbal representations

    The abstraction process will describe an activity that will lead to concept formation. Abstraction ability is one of the goals in understanding mathematical concepts. Based on the results of observations and interviews with mathematics teachers at SMPN 1 Kebonsari, the learning results of VIII-grade students in doing math problems show that there are still many students who have not been able to apply concepts in solving problems. Meanwhile, the learning process still uses a lecture learning model and there is no innovation in the teaching materials used. The purpose of this research is to produce LKPD which contains a summary of the material, example problems, and structured problems that can help improve abstraction abilities named AT-Worksheet with the Group Investigation learning model as one of the solutions students can improve their abstraction skills in learning mathematics. The method used in this research is R&D (Research and Development) with the ADDIE development model. The results of this study are AT-Worksheet which is valid and very practical to use in learning mathematics to improve the abstraction ability of 8th-grade students of SMPN 1 KebonsariProses abstraksi akan menggambarkan sebuah aktivitas yang akan mengarahkan ke pembentukan konsep. Kemampuan abstraksi menjadi salah satu tujuan dalam memahami konsep-konsep matematika. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara dengan guru matematika SMPN 1 Kebonsari bahwa hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII dalam mengerjakan soal matematika terlihat masih banyak siswa yang belum mampu mengaplikasikan konsep dalam menyelesaikan soal. Sedangkan proses pembelajaran di kelas masih menerapkan metode ceramah dan belum ada inovasi bahan ajar untuk pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah menghasilkan LKPD yang memuat ringkasan materi, contoh soal, dan soal-soal terstruktur terstruktur yang didukung dengan gambar dan desain yang menarik yang diberi nama AT-Worksheet dengan model pembelajaran Group Investigation sebagai salah satu solusi siswa dapat meningkatkan kemampuan abstraksinya dalam belajar matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Hasil penelitian ini ialah AT-Worksheet yang valid dan sangat praktis. Hasil validasi diperoleh persentase sebesar 85,00% dan memenuhi kriteria valid. Hasil angket respon siswa diperoleh presentase sebesar 82,07% dan memenuhi kriteria sangat praktis, sehingga AT-Worksheet bisa dimanfaatkan dalam pembelajaran matematika untuk meningkatkan kemampuan abstraksi siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Kebonsari

    PENGARUH REALISTIC MATHEMATICS EDUCATION IMMEDIATE POSITIVE FEEDBACK DENGAN PEMBELAJARAN BERDIFERENSIASI TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS

    Rendahnya tingkat pemahaman konsep matematis yang dimiliki oleh siswa menjadi dasar penyelenggaraan penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan guna menguji pengaruh implementasi Realistic Mathematics Education Immediate Positive Feedback dengan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa di kelas VII SMP. Penelitian ini ialah penelitian eksperimen dengan posttest only control group design. Tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis akan digunakan sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji t dengan uji lanjut berupa Cohen’s d Effect Size. Pengaruh yang signifikan menjadi hasil akhir dari penelitian implementasi Realistic Mathematics Education Immediate Positive Feedback dengan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas VII SMP yang memperoleh nilai sig (2-tailed) sebesar <0,001 yang mengindikasikan bahwa Ha diterima dan memiliki nilai effect size sebesar 0,927 yang bermakna bahwa pembelajaran ini memberikan efek besar dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.The low level of understanding of mathematical concepts possessed by students is the basis for conducting this research. The aim of the research was to examine the effect of implementing Realistic Mathematics Education Immediate Positive Feedback with differentiated learning on students' ability to understand mathematical concepts in class VII SMP. This research is experimental research with posttest only control. Data collection uses a test of the ability to understand mathematical concepts. Hypothesis testing in this research uses the t test with a further test in the form of Cohen's d Effect Size. The results of this research show that there is a significant influence from the implementation of Realistic Mathematics Education Immediate Positive Feedback with differentiated learning on students' ability to understand mathematical concepts who obtained a sig (2-tailed) value of <0.001 which indicates that Ha is accepted and has an effect size value of 0.927, which means that this learning has a big effect in improving students' ability to understand mathematical concepts
