    The water used by the community in Kota Bangun II Village for drinking and daily needs comes from three types of groundwater sources, namely natural sources, drilled wells and dug wells. This research aims to determine the suitability of the air consumed by the people of Kota Bangun II Village. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with the parameters tested being physical, chemical and biological parameters. The air sampling technique used in this research was purposive sampling. The air testing site at the Air Quality Laboratory and Microbiology and Aquaculture Biotechnology Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Mulawarman University, research was carried out for 3 months, namely January-March 2023. Based on the research results which have been compared with PERMENKES No. 492 of 2010 and Indonesian Government Regulation no. 82 of 2001 and Government Regulation no. 20 of 1990 that the source of drinking water in Kota Bangun II Village cannot be consumed directly and does not qualify as standard water The water used by the community in Kota Bangun II Village for drinking and daily needs comes from three types of groundwater sources, namely natural sources, drilled wells, and dug wells.     Critical thinking skills in the 21st century need to be developed including the ability to evaluate, analyze, and use information to solve real-world problems. To put these skills into practice, a tool enriched with practical information based on experience has been created in the form of an encyclopedia, supported by various aspects of critical thinking in an encyclopedia book. This is a book containing information about all sciences in the form of a series of articles arranged alphabetically by title. The purpose of this study was to determine the relevance and practicality of the contents of the Sapindaceae Encyclopedia of the Banua Botanical Gardens. This study focuses on the development of assessments using the Educational Design Research (EDR) model using Tessmer's formative design. Research has found that the validity of this encyclopedia falls into the category of "good" as it contains content that teachers and students can use and the systematic structure of the encyclopedia is excellent.     The purpose of this research is to find out the suitability of the implementation of the talent acquisition process system procedure at the construction company PT X in Batam with the standards used, namely based on the law and to study directly the company's procedures in carrying out the talent acquisition process system, both from looking for candidates, conducting interviews, training up to the hiring stage. Data collection techniques used interviews with PT X Talent Acquisition staff, observation and documentation. The procedures of the talent acquisition process system that will be observed and analyzed are Sourcing and Lead Generation, Recruiting and Attracting, Interviewing and Assessing, Checking References, Making Final Selections, Hiring and Onboarding. The results obtained after implementation are a hiring system that complies with regular procedures and produces qualified candidates at every stage of the process that is passed, the author can study and assist in each process, such as contacting candidates at each stage of the process, helping prepare candidate documents, helping prepare candidate needs for tests. Making it easier for Talent Acquisition staff in the process of carrying out each procedure of the talent acquisition process system

    Peran Resiliensi dan Secure Attachment terhadap Orientasi Masa Depan pada Remaja di Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak

    Without parental direction, adolescents living in orphanages face difficulties deciding about their future orientation in careers and educational paths. Therefore, to effectively support them, protective factors must be identified. This study aims to examine the effect of resilience and secure attachment on how adolescents living in orphanages see their future orientation in relation to their education and careers. Purposive sampling strategies were used to select 96 teenagers from orphanages as research subjects. In this study, three measuring devices were employed. The Secure Attachment variable was measured using the attachment model of Bartholomew & Horowitz (1991), the future orientation variable was measured using the Future Expectation Scale of Adolescents (Dwiastuti dkk.,2023), and the resilience variable was measured using the seven aspects of resilience according to Reivich & Shatte (2002). The analysis was carried out utilizing multiple regression. The results of the hypothesis show that resilience and stable attachment play a crucial role in the future orientation of teenagers in foster care. This is supported by the values p=0.004 (p<0.05), R=0.335, R Square=0.093, and F=5.893. Thus, it can be concluded that the resilience and secure attachment variables, when combined, contribute an effective 9% to increasing the quality of future orientation in education and career fields for adolescents living in orphanages

    COGNITIVE COMPETENCIES IN DIGITAL ENGLISH READING: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW

    The rise of digital devices and content consumption has reshaped reading habits, potentially influencing the development of early reading skills. However, limited research addresses cognitive competencies in digital English reading, which enable readers to process, comprehend, and retain information online. This study aimed to investigate the presence of cognitive competencies in digital English reading materials and the challenges in developing them. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted, excluding 47 articles and including 15 based on research criteria. Findings indicate that while cognitive competencies—such as critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity and innovation, situation analysis, decision-making, and pattern recognition—are integrated into English reading materials, they require further development in digital contexts. The study also identified challenges in developing cognitive competence, including cognitive load, material and pedagogical design, teacher and student expectations, technology and digital literacy, feedback and assessment, information overload, interdisciplinary and critical thinking skills, and the nature of literacy. Understanding the integration of cognitive competencies into digital resources is crucial for educators and stakeholders, as it aids in optimizing language learning experiences and developing targeted solutions to enhance language learning tools and strategies

    Labor productivity describes the total output produced by labor in a certain period of time. Based on the measurement of the level of labor productivity in regencies/cities in East Java, it is known that there are inequalities between regions. In addition, the provincial productivity level fluctuated during 2017-2021. This study aims to determine the factors that affect labor productivity with the variables studied are Dependency Ratio, Education, and Minimum Wage in 38 districts / cities in East Java Province in the period of 2017 - 2021. This study used panel data analysis which is fixed effect model is the best model. The results show that the dependency ratio variable has no effect on labour productivity. The education variable has a significant negative effect on labour productivity while the district/city minimum wage variable has a significant positive effect on labour productivity in 38 districts/cities in East Java

    This research aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence, interest in learning, and elementary school students' understanding of natural disasters in Labuan District. The research was conducted at five public schools in Labuan District, namely SDN Teluk 1, SDN Teluk 2, SDN Teluk 3, SDN Labuan 1, and SDN Cigondang 2, with a sample size of 300 students. This research uses a quantitative approach with survey methods. Hypothesis testing is carried out using multiple regression tests. The research results concluded that: 1) There is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence (X1) and understanding of natural disasters (Y) of elementary school students in Labuan District. The Sig value can prove this. = 0.000 < 0.05 and t0 = 7.269; 2) There is a significant relationship between interest in learning (X2) and understanding of natural disasters (Y) of elementary school students in Labuan District. The Sig value can prove this. = 0.000 < 0.05 and t0 = 11.202; 3) There is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence (X1) and interest in learning (X2), together with the understanding of natural disasters (Y) of elementary school students in Labuan District. The Sig value can prove this. = 0.000 < 0.05 and Fo = 551.907

    THE DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING VIDEOS WITH THE PROBLEM-SOLVING APPROACH BY USING SCREENCAST O MATIC

    Starting from students and teachers need interesting and innovative learning media that can help teachers during the learning process in class so develop the learning video as mathematical learning media. The purpose of the research is to describe the results of the developed learning video by using the problem-solving approach with screencast o matic application. The research is R&D research with the ADDIE model. The data collecting methods used are questionnaire, interview, observation, test, and documentation. Then for data analysis methods used are analysis of the item, product feasibility test analysis, and product practicality test analysis. The research result is material validation obtained a score of 3.19 while media validation obtained a score of 3.67 so can be concluded that the learning video is valid and has appropriate criteria for use. Then the result of the student’s response obtained an average score of 76% and the teacher’s response showed results of 80% which means that learning video is practical to use. The conclusion of this research is the developed learning video covers some steps of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation then the result of this developed learning video is valid with an average value are 3,43 from material and media validators and practical to use with the average value are 78% from teacher and student response. The suggestion for this research is to make learning videos interesting for the user needs to improve the appearance and give reality problems in the case.Berawal dari siswa dan guru yang memerlukan media pembelajaran menarik dan inovatif yang dapat membantu guru selama proses pembelajaran di kelas maka dikembangkanlah video pembelajaran sebagai media pembelajaran matematika. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan hasil pengembangan video pembelajaran dengan pendekatan pemecahan masalah berbantuan aplikasi screencast o matic. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian R&D dengan model ADDIE. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket, wawancara, observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Kemudian untuk metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis uji kelayakan produk, dan analisis uji kepraktisan produk. Hasil penelitian validasi materi memperoleh skor 3,19 sedangkan validasi media memperoleh skor 3,67 sehingga dapat disimpulkan video pembelajaran tersebut valid dan memenuhi kriteria layak untuk digunakan. Kemudian hasil respon siswa memperoleh skor rata-rata 76% dan respon guru menunjukkan hasil 80% yang berarti video pembelajaran praktis untuk digunakan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah video pembelajaran yang dikembangkan meliputi beberapa langkah yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan Evaluasi, hasil video pembelajaran yang dikembangkan ini valid dengan rata-rata skor 3,43 dari validator materi dan media serta praktis untuk digunakan dengan rata-rata skor sebesar 78% dari respon siswa dan guru. Saran dari penelitian ini adalah membuat video pembelajaran yang lebih menarik bagi pengguna, perlu dilakukan perbaikan tampilan dan memberikan permasalahan yang nyata pada kasus

    PENGEMBANGAN LKPD UNTUK PEMBELAJARAN BERDIFERENSIASI DENGAN KONTEKS BRENGKES TEMPOYAK SUMATERA SELATAN YANG BERORIENTASI COMPUTATIONAL THINKING

    Penelitian ini dilakukan karena pentingnya kemampuan computational thinking yang harus dimiliki peserta didik untuk merancang solusi permasalahan di kehidupan sehari-hari secara terstruktur, logis, dan kritis. Computational thinking merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang masuk ke dalam penilaian bidang asesmen matematika di framework PISA 2021. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKPD berorientasi computational thinking dengan konteks brengkes tempoyak khas Sumatera Selatan untuk pembelajaran matematika berdiferensiasi di kelas VII SMP yang valid, praktis, dan memiliki efek potensial terhadap computational thinking peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation dan evaluation).  Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII SMP LTI IGM Palembang pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Teknik pengumpulan data terdiri dari walkthrough, observasi, tes, dan angket. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif terhadap hasil walkthrough, hasil wawancara, dan hasil tes peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa LKPD berorientasi computational thinking yang telah dikembangkan berkategori valid, praktis, dan memiliki efek potensial berdasarkan tahapan expert reviews, one to one, small group, dan field test.  Berdasarkan hasil tes, persentase penilaian menunjukan bahwa 21,05% peserta didik tergolong kategori sangat baik; 57,89% peserta didik tergolong kategori baik; 15,79% peserta didik tergolong kategori cukup; dan 5,26% peserta didik tergolong kategori kurang.This study was undertaken due to the imperative nature of computational thinking skills that students need to possess in order to devise solutions to everyday problems in a structured, logical, and critical manner. Furthermore, computational thinking is a skill assessed within the mathematics domain of the PISA 2021 framework. The research aims to produce a student worksheet focused on computational thinking with the context of Sumatera Selatan's distinctive brengkes tempoyak for differentiated mathematics learning in grade VII of junior high school that is valid, practical, and holds potential effects on students' computational thinking. The study adopts a developmental research approach using the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The research subjects are seventh-grade students of SMP LTI IGM Palembang in the even semester of the academic year 2022/2023. Data collection techniques encompass walkthroughs, observations, tests, and questionnaires. Data analysis is carried out descriptively concerning the walkthrough, interview, and student test results. The research findings indicate that the developed computational thinking-oriented student worksheet is categorized as valid, practical, and holds potential effects based on expert reviews, one-to-one, small group, and field test stages. According to the student test results, the assessment percentages show that 21.05% of students fall into the "very good" category, 57.89% into the "good" category, 15.79% into the "sufficient" category, and 5.26% into the "insufficient" category

    ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS SISWA SMP BERDASARKAN INDIKATOR KRULIK DAN RUDNICK DITINJAU DARI MOTIVASI BELAJAR

    Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika berperan penting untuk membangun proses berpikir siswa. Namun ternyata kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa masih tergolong rendah, sehingga perlu adanya analisis mengenai permasalahan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi kesulitan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal kemampuan pemecahan masalah berdasarkan indikator Krulik dan Rudnick pada materi sistem persamaan linear satu variabel. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri 3 orang siswa SMP Pelita YNH tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Jenis dan pendekatan pada penelitian ini yakni jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yakni metode dokumentasi, tes dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara membandingkan data hasil tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah berdasarkan indikator Krulik dan Rudnick, data hasil wawancara, dan angket motivasi belajar siswa. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa kesulitan siswa dalam meyelesaikan soal kemampuan pemecahan masalah berdasarkan indikator Krulik dan Rudnick ditinjau dari motivasi belajar siswa adalah kesulitan dalam memberikan pemahaman materi menggunakan media lain yang mudah dipahami, kesulitan melakukan latihan soal secara kontinyu. Adapun penyebab motivasi siswa rendah adalah kurangnya pemahaman konsep pada materi yang dipelajari, kurangnya latihan soal yang diberikan, dan kurangnya media yang digunakan pada pembelajaran. Serta solusi rendahnya motivasi dan menyelesaikan siswa adalah menggunakan model dan media pembelajaran yang menarik, berlatih menyelesaikan soal.Mathematical problem solving abilities play an important role in developing students' thinking processes. However, it turns out that students' mathematical problem solving abilities are still relatively low, so an analysis of these problems is needed. This research aims to identify students' difficulties in solving problem-solving ability questions based on Krulik and Rudnick indikators in one-variable linear equation systems material. The subjects of this research were 3 students at Pelita YNH Middle School for the 2022/2023 academic year. The type and approach in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques in this research are documentation, tests and interviews. Data analysis was carried out by comparing data from problem solving ability tests based on Krulik and Rudnick indikators, interview data, and student learning motivation questionnaires. From the research results, it was concluded that students' difficulties in solving problem solving ability questions based on Krulik and Rudnick's indikators in terms of student learning motivation were difficulties in providing understanding of the material using other media that was easy to understand, difficulty doing continuous practice questions. The causes of low student motivation are a lack of understanding of the concepts in the material being studied, a lack of practice questions given, and a lack of media used in learning. And the solution to students' low motivation and problem solving is to use interesting learning models and media, practice solving problems.
