FUN MEETS FUNCTIONALITY: EXPLORING THE ROLE OF GAMES IN ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE (EFL) CLASSROOMS THROUGH THE LENS OF TEACHERS
How do teachers in the context of teaching English as a foreign language (EFL) with limited resources view and implement GBL after participating in targeted professional development? This study investigates how three experienced EFL teachers view GBL and the challenges they face in its implementation. Data were collected through written reflections using Gibbs' Reflective Cycle, supported by classroom observations and document reviews. Interview data were analysed using Braun and Clarke's (2006) six-phase thematic analysis. Results indicate that teachers view GBL as effective in increasing student motivation, participation, and confidence, as well as reducing anxiety about English, especially when games align with curriculum objectives and are used for clear pedagogical purposes. However, they reported structural barriers such as limited instruction time, unstable internet connections, unequal access to devices, and rigid curriculum and assessment requirements. To overcome these barriers, teachers adopted practical strategies including team-based formats, games projected to the whole class, and short, focused game activities. The study concludes that maintaining GBL in similar English as a foreign language (EFL) learning environments requires continuous professional development, adequate infrastructure, and greater curriculum flexibility
ANALISIS PENGARUH PERCEIVED CREDIBILITY DAN TRUST TERHADAP ATTITUDE TOWARD SOCIAL MEDIA INFLUENCER SERTA IMPLIKASINYA PADA NIAT PEMBELIAN KOSMETIK HALAL OLEH GEN Z DI JABODETABEK
The halal cosmetics industry in Indonesia has witnessed substantial growth, influenced by the increasing awareness among Generation Z of religious values and the pervasive role of digital platforms. This study aims to examine the influence of perceived credibility and trust on attitudes toward social media influencers (SMIs) and their implications for purchase intention of halal cosmetic products among Gen Z consumers in the Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek). A quantitative research method was employed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS software to analyze the relationships between variables. Primary data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed to 122 Muslim female respondents from Gen Z who actively follow influencers and use halal cosmetics. The findings reveal that both perceived credibility and trust exert a positive and statistically significant impact on attitudes toward SMIs, which in turn significantly influence purchase intention. These results support the applicability of the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) in the context of digital halal marketing and emphasize the critical role of influencer credibility and trustworthiness in shaping consumer attitudes and behavioral intentions. This study contributes to the theoretical enrichment of digital consumer behavior literature within a value-driven context and offers practical insights for marketers in developing targeted halal marketing strategies that resonate with Gen Z audiences

Gambaran Kedukaan pada Anak Sekolah Dasar dan Implikasinya Terhadap Layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling
Grief in children is a complex psychological experience that may significantly affect learning concentration, emotional regulation, and social interaction within the school environment. When not adequately addressed, unresolved grief can hinder children’s academic performance and psychosocial development. This study aimed to describe the level of grief experienced by elementary school students at SDN 3 Cikijing and to examine its implications for guidance and counseling services in schools. A quantitative descriptive research design was employed involving 90 students from grades IV to VI, consisting of 25 fourth-grade students, 30 fifth-grade students, and 35 sixth-grade students. Data were collected using the Grief Cognition Questionnaire for Children (GCQ-C), developed by Spuij et al. and adapted into Indonesian. The GCQ-C assesses negative cognitions and perceptions related to grief, providing a cognitive perspective on children’s bereavement experiences. The results indicated that 66.66% of students experienced a moderate level of grief, 17.77% experienced a high level of grief, and 15.55% experienced a low level of grief. Additionally, two students with the highest GCQ-C scores were identified as special cases for further analysis. The predominance of moderate grief suggests that although most students do not exhibit severe grief symptoms, they still face difficulties in managing negative thoughts and emotions associated with loss, which may influence their academic engagement and social relationships. These findings highlight the need for both preventive and curative guidance and counseling interventions in elementary schools. The study recommends the application of Person-Centered Expressive Arts Therapy (PCEAT) as an appropriate intervention, as it provides a safe and supportive space for children to express emotions through creative activities, enhance self-understanding, and foster psychological resilience during the grieving process
Pengaruh Dukungan Sosial dan Spiritualitas Terhadap Resiliensi Remaja Dengan Orang Tua Tunggal
The increasing prevalence of adolescents raised by single parents has raised concerns regarding their psychological adjustment and capacity to cope with life challenges. Adolescents growing up in single-parent families often face various social, emotional, and economic stressors, making resilience a crucial psychological resource for their development. This study aimed to examine the effects of social support and spirituality on the resilience of adolescents raised by single parents. A quantitative approach was employed using a correlational design. Convenience sampling was used to select 272 adolescent respondents aged 15 to 19 years who were raised by a single parent and resided in Karawang Regency. Data were collected using the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS), the Spiritual Health Scale, and the Resilience Adaptation Scale developed by Amaliyah and Fauziah. Multiple regression analysis was applied to examine the effects of the independent variables on adolescent resilience. The results indicated that social support and spirituality had positive and significant effects on resilience, both partially and simultaneously. Together, these variables accounted for 33.7% of the variance in adolescent resilience, while the remaining 66.3% was explained by other factors not examined in this study. These findings suggest that adolescents who perceive higher levels of social support and possess stronger spiritual well-being tend to demonstrate greater resilience in facing life challenges. The results reinforce the importance of strengthening social support networks and fostering spiritual development as protective factors for adolescents raised by single parents. This study provides important implications for guidance and counseling services, educators, and family support programs in promoting resilience among adolescents from single-parent families

Resilience also positively influenced subjective well-being and significantly mediated the relationship between self-efficacy and subjective well-being. These findings highlight that enhancing students’ self-efficacy can strengthen their resilience, which ultimately contributes to improved subjective well-being. The implications of this study underscore the importance of fostering self-efficacy and resilience as key components in efforts to promote psychological well-being among high school students
Hubungan antara Mobbing dengan Adversity Quotient Siswa SMK DKI Jakarta
This study aims to examine the relationship between mobbing and adversity quotient (AQ) among vocational high school students (SMK) in the DKI Jakarta area. A quantitative correlational approach was used, with Spearman’s rank correlation test employed to measure the relationship between the mobbing variable and adversity quotient. The mobbing variable in this study was assessed using five indicators: effects on self-expression and communication, social contact, personal reputation, work situation and quality of life, and physical health. Meanwhile, AQ was measured using four indicators: control, origin & ownership, reach, and endurance. The Spearman correlation test results indicated a significant positive relationship between mobbing and adversity quotient (r = 0.583, p < 0.01). These findings suggest that the higher the level of mobbing experienced by students, the greater the challenges they face in maintaining psychological resilience. This result can serve as a need assessment basis for guidance and counseling teachers in designing preventive interventions focused on strengthening students' resilience in dealing with social pressure. The findings also provide valuable insight for educators in fostering a safe, emotionally healthy, and mentally supportive learning environment
